You would have to ask chief Justice Roberts that whats so disturbing is you see this pattern and even some of the dissents from his own colleagues suggesting that, perhaps pressure from outside the court is what is making him not want him to appear to conservatives. He seems to be trying to play both sides. Some of the most recent reporting from the Court Suggests in cases he had flipped his decision again, maybe because he is concerned about the media backlash if the court rules certain ways. But, you know what . Chief justice, thats not your job. Your job isnt to look at the opinion pages and figure out what is going to make them put the court in the best light. Your job is to follow the constitution and the law. Pete thats right. Washington can actually be a bit of a install town and is roberts looking around at what happened to kavanaugh . Sure, lets remove the bad apples but by and large police are there to provide a service and protecting the community in connection with the social contract. As a result of that we need police; therefore, we as a Community Need to coalesce around police to ensure that our communities are being protected. And the far left is driving a narrative that is inaccurate in connection with the silent majority. The silent majority wants police this their communities. Overnight we saw clashes in front of the Lebanese Parliament building in beirut. The extent of the damage is difficult to describe. Here is a look at the scene at just one Apartment Building that was affected by this blast. The city of beirut is in pieces, in the immediate vicinity of the blast, it looks like a war zone. Steel beams bent like they were paper clips, windows ripped from their frames. You could see the ports just a few hundred feet away from where were standing. People were home at this time. They were preparing to have dinner on tuesday night. You can see survivors had a difficult time getting out of the building. The elevator shaft was heavily damaged in this explosion and there was a lot of debris blocking the stairwell. Still, there are bloodstained footprints, a reminder of the true toll that this blast caused. People are emotionally destroyed, even if theyre physically okay theyre emotionally destroyed but coming to such areas where the explosion happened and see ing all these people helping was, it tears at the heart and makes us have a little bit of hope again.
