We know of at least 12 chinese nationals on board this cruise ship this morning who have been isolated, quarantined from the rest of the passengers until they are properly tested for that Novel Coronavirus. A spokesperson for Royal Caribbean tells us they are participating in elevated screenings for the deadly virus just like the airlines. In other words, anyone who has been to mainland, china within two weeks of coming in to the u. S. Is immediately isolated and tested for coronavirus. Right now its unclear if those isolated passengers on board this ship were exhibiting any of those coronavirus symptoms. Things like shortness of breath. Coughing or flulike symptoms. We do know the cdc and the World Health Organization have been notified of this situation. Again, at least 12 chinese nationals quarantined on this Royal Caribbean cruise ship this morning as before they are tested for the coronavirus. Now, the cdc has not determined where these 12 nationals will be tested. But its likely they will be going to the Maguire Air Force base. Thats in new jersey as well. So for each infected person they can infect anywhere from one to five people. Unfortunately, china is heavily populated and there is a lot of overcrowded spaces. Their Healthcare System is not strong. The physicians are few and far between. And to be honest, they dont they are not practicing the hand hygiene. They dont have the education that we do here in the United States what they need to do to contain this. Ainsley its scary. Right there on the other side of the river. What do we need to do . What did you all think about the state of the Union Address and Nancy Pelosis behavior and the president s behavior yesterday, carren i will start with you. I thought it was frankly very disappointing. And i had to explain to my kids that just because you may not agree with someone doesnt give u. The liberty to act out. I mean it was embarrassing. She is the speaker of the house she should be representing all of us. When america is winning the way we are in the economy, with jobs, with security, i found it actually just appalling. Ainsley darby, you are a moderate, what did you think of it. As a moderate im a child family therapist. So i agree with you, carren. In that it is not a great example, the whole impeachment, everything is pretty divisive. And it is very hard to teach people how do you act, how do you treat someone differently when that is the kind of behavior we are seeing. Ainsley did anyone agree with it or fine with it any of you all . No. No. No. Ainsley beth, your thought. We had a lot of the guests who said we felt like you were tearing our hearts out. For sure. It was so evident that you had, you know, you really have the party of prosperity and it was so evident in the state of the union. I mean the state of the union is 12r07bg. And then you had the party of hate. You know, there is just so much hate and so much divisiveness. You know, even as a female and as a mom echoing what you said. What a bad example. I think she set us back decades. What are we going to do with females, we are going to pout if we dont get our own way . So it was really humiliating and embarrassing. Ainsley daughter on with march thampleght i looked at she is italian grandma. Thats what i thought about it. I think for a woman to stand in white and claim to be empowered, she showed me that she is very disempowered woman, very under developed in that behavior. Ainsley what did you think when the president goes to the National Prayer breakfast and he is holding up the newspaper but he says she probably does pray for me. I dont think she prays she probably does but not for me. Not for him. I think that went a little far. The on both sides wasnt exactly exemplary behavior. From him not shaking her hand. I think that kind of set the tonal for the rest of the night. As a democrat i do believe that she may have taken it too far . Do i believe my party may have showed some pretty bad behavior, yes, i think the behavior was bad on both sides but, democrats have been hanging their hat on that we are the bigger people and we have to stand strong and that behavior was not exhibited. Ainsley look what is happening in iowa. You have Bernie Sanders doing well because we know his name. He ran before. But you have mayor pete who is just booming and biden is coming, in it looks like fourth place. What do you make of all of that . Well, you know, the thing in our country right now is we are looking for ways to come together as a country, right . You know, and upstate, new york, and we are looking for ways to come together. Usmca was a great thing to come together on. The president talking about social security. And making promises to us. Those are wonderful things. Im disappointed out there in iowa when i see these people on the president ial debate stages because they cant come together and celebrate anything thats going well in our country. And thats what americans want. We want to come together. And i believe thats why the democrats are going to lose so much in november. Were going to take back the house. We will have sweeping wins because they refuse to celebrate the good things that are happening in our country. Our military. A soldier coming home to his family in the state of the union. So im very disappointed. And i think that its a bad its a bad they are not being good role models and leaders for our children and families in this country. Ainsley carren, what do you think about the fact that socialism is really resonating with so many voters now. I think, unfortunately, these voters are uneducated. And i come from a unique perspective because i grew up in finland where its one of Bernie Sanders Bernie Sanders examples. Denmark, finland as great social experiments. Laces to live. And thats where you wait in line for your time to see the doctor. Your quality of care isnt good. So i want him to kind of be more forth right in what it means. We are not going to be getting the same level of care if our country votes for him and he becomes president. Ainsley what do we tell our children about all of this infighting . I have never seen anything like this. Ronald reagan, he got along with the democrats. Best friend with a democrat. What do we tell our kids . I think we have to use it as an example of you who not to act. And actually teach that you have to listen to someone elses perspective. Its okay to disagree. But you need to actually hear someone else. And use a little empathy. Something we need to be teaching a lot more of. Ainsley when she ripped that up i really thought my gosh, we have the founding fathers, the constitution, there is decorum. There is civility. I just thought that went too far. There were gold star moms and angel moms, angel families in the state of the union and you had the democrats getting up and walking out, not clapping and then she tears it up. What is that saying . You know, there is such disrespect. Where we have got to come together in this country to get something done. I mean, personally im sick of these career politicians going to washington to serve themselves. They are going to build a political future and they are not going to help us and to help the people. We have got to stop it. Ainsley sam, what issues are important to you. I think the security of our country is very important to me. I want my children to grow up in safety and know that they can achieve the American Dream just as we all have. And i want them to be respectful of people and things that they dont agree with. I think just blanket statements that are saying we are going to give everybody this and everybody that, it might not be feasible. So, i think people are under educated and they think the more that we can inform people on the republican perspective and the democratic perspective, the closer we are going to come to some true bipartisan policies and moving our country forward in the right direction. Obviously not being on that side of the fence we cannot speculate one way or another if these individuals are those that reportedly are experiencing coronaviruslike symptoms. But you do see individuals being wheeled into ambulances as we speak. This ship is the anthem of the seas. Returning from the bahamas, thats according to the new york post. Authorities concern had when some of the passengers developed pulmonary issues. Those passengers have been quarantined and tested at some point soon. In a statement today, Royal Caribbean said they were participating in elevated levels of guest screening to combat the spread spread of the virus. And that they have, quote. Rigorous medical protocols in place. The cdc has not determined where passengers will be held while this testing is being done but there are reports that joint base maguire, in new jersey, Fort Hamilton in brooklyn have both been designated camps for potential quarantine. Results of the test typically known after 46 to 48 hours after they are done. So now we wait. As you can see, im going to step into the shot here, a. J. Two individuals we counted wheeled into those ambulances. Unclear whether those are the ones connected with the coronavirus or something else. Obviously the number of people that are going to go and observe. They are going to take them to the facility to keep an eye on them for a number of hours. But, i mean, speaking just as a human, if i was on this ship i would be nervous just knowing that these individuals were on this ship with me regardless of what the doctors are saying. What this new bail law does is require that witness information and their personal information be handed over to the defense within 15 days of an arrest. I imagine he would like that number although i imagine he would like it in the 90s. Imeecht has not diminished those numbers at all. What i have seen this impeachment process has mobilized his evangelical base. I saw that firsthand in iowa last week. I was there speaking for the president at some events. Four years ago i was in iowa with then candidate President Trump. It was donald trump. And i was introducing him at evangelical events and four years ago evangelicals were interested in him. They were fascinated in him but they didnt really know him. They just knew they didnt want Hillary Clinton as president. Four years later, last week, the crowds were ecstatic about him. Record crowds. And its obvious why. I mean, he has appointed 150 conservative judges to the federal bench. He has been a strong advocate for life and religious liberty. He has had unwavering support for israel. I told the president lately that i believe that evangelical turnout in 2020 will be greater than even the historic turnout in 2016, which was 81 . Well, the dallas texans, my dads team started in 1960 as part of formation of the American Football League and even though the nfl had told them that dallas was a horrible market for profootball, they changed their mind very quickly and the cowboys came into existence as a result. The cabins and texans coexisted in dallas for 3 years, they were both playing in the same stadium and neither team was doing very well, and after a couple of years my dad decided that he would move his team to kansas city which he did in 1963 and became the Kansas City Chiefs at that point. Well, really the whole two weeks between the afc championship game and the super bowl i thought about my dad often, his legacy was so tied to the creation of the super bowl and naming of the super bowl, we won the lamar hunt trophy which is what you get when you win the afc and so for our entire family we thought so much about him, i know how proud he would have been of his Kansas City Chiefs to bring home another championship.
