Well be in the show room chatting with you through the computer with a live debate. That is keeptalking. We always enjoy that you are responses. We do. That wraps it up for us. Fox friends starts right now. Bye. Good morning. Today is tuesday, the 9th of september, 2014. Im anna kooiman in for elisabeth hasselbeck. The nfl under fire. Tmz sources say the league never asked the re shell hotel for the revel hotel for the video inside the elevator. Did the nfl turn a blind eye . President obama asking World Leaders to help us take down the terrorists. The only condition . Use your troops. Ours wont go. Do you think thats going to work . Well talk about it. Political opposites now friends. President bush has some advice for his predecessor on being a grandfather. Get ready also to be like the lowest person in the pecking order in your family. Bill clinton breaks news on their relationship about one that was in the oval office and one that wasnt. By the way, mornings are better with friends. Youre watching fox friends. A generic british voice. Thank you. Welcome aboard. Anna is in today for elisabeth. Yesterday we told you tmz released video nobody had seen before where ray rice, running back for the ravens, hauled off and knocked down his thenfiancee and she was out cold. We had seen the video of her getting dragged out and the nfl wound up giving him a twogame suspension. Well, this morning the tmz group is saying that the nfl never saw this video. The revel hotel in Atlantic City said nobody in the nfl ever asked to see it and the casino people say if the nfl asked they would have given it over but nobody asked. One of the biggest questions this morning is were the nfls investigators not doing their job . Are they incapable of doing their job or were they putting their head in the sand on purpose . Heres the thing. The nfl says we asked Law Enforcement for the information relevant to the case and the Law Enforcement didnt give it to them. However, the nfl did not ask for the video and all they had to do is ask. The hotel is now closed. Harvey levin, tmz sports and tmz news, he is on with a fox affiliate in washington, d. C. He says essentially the nfl knew the Surveillance Video existed. They knew this casino had Surveillance Video and they knew says i know they knew and will explain later why we know they knew that. But they did and they didnt do anything to look at this video. He explains. Hes going to expand on that today. The nfl, what theyre saying is they requested all the information from Law Enforcement, but because it was a pending case they didnt give it to them. However, the casino people say we would have given it to them. The fallout today is because of this video, ray rice has been cut from the team and he has been indefinitely suspended by the nfl. Former Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis cant believe the nfl would have looked the other way. I dont think they looked the other way, but its shocking to know that the nfl ravens hadnt seen this video knowing the video was out there. Clearly we had seen before the hallway shot, so of course you knew there was an elevator on the camera. Its shocking that the league hadnt seen it. If the league hadnt seen it, it brings up the question how did you suspend him for two games without having all the evidence . You know, in a court of law, you get all the evidence before you sentence someone to a punishment. Well, he had been a star at rutgers university, not far from new york city. People are burning his jerseys. Also rutgers removed him from the list of the knights of the nfl. Among the people who said he should be getting a Second Chance is former raven coast brian billick. He said as bad as it is america is full of Second Chances. Our facebook question should ray rice be banned from the nfl for life . You can contact us by twitter, facebook or email us at friends foxnews. Com. Comments we made during this story yesterday made some feel like we were taking the situation too lightly. We are not. We were not. Domestic abuse is a very serious issue to us, i can ash shoe you. I can assure you. In the meantime four minutes after the top of the hour. We turn to Heather Nauert. Its four minutes after the hour and ive got news from overseas. Closing in on the terror executioner, american and british authorities may now know exactly who beheaded the american journalist james foley. According to the u. K. s newspaper, British Intelligence had the killer under surveillance long before he joined isis in syria. He was known to them as jihadi john and he was apparently considered a lowlevel threat at the time. He collected funds for the terror group. F. B. I. Agents in the u. K. Joined the British Task Force in trying to hunt down the terrorist. They will reportedly row veal his true identity within a number of days. New fears this morning for americans traveling overseas, and this is such a bizarre story. A u. S. Air marshal is stabbed with a syringe filled with a mysterious liquid at an airport in nigeria. The air marshal flew back to houston, put in quarantine and given a medication as a precaution. Why did this person target u. S. Marshals . Did this person knowingly target u. S. Marshals . And was it for the intent of producing terror . That syringe, we dont know what is in it just yet, is being looked at by the f. B. I. And c. D. C. All eyes on apple in anticipation of an announcement later. The tech giant set to unveil the iphone 6, rumored to have a bigger screen and better camera. Also expected to be unveiled the socalled iwatch that reportedly comes in two sizes and can track your health but it may motte be released until 2015. Later in the show Clayton Morris joins us live from where that event is happening. Lets talk about football. The Detroit Lions taking on the new york giants. The touchdown not once but twice in the first quarter. A score on the ground. The lions win big 3514. And late in the game chargers stunned the cardinals with two late touchdown strikes. Cardinals win 1817. Those are your headlines. Were you up late last night watching football . Two exciting teams. Too bad no one taped the giants games. The only highlights available all day long. It is so scary how bad they looked. Heather nauert with the news and sports today. President obama just hours away from meeting with congressional leaders on a strategy to confront isis. Part of that plan, 5 billion in funding to fight the terrorists. For more on the president s big day we turn to peter doocy live in washington, d. C. Thats right. Today the president reportedly plans to remind congressional leaders in a white house meeting that hes been asking for a 5 billion Counterterrorism Partnership fund since may, a fund he says will train and build up partners near hot spots around the world to destroy isis once and for all. That is an objective the pentagon reportedly thinks will take three years and that has some lawmakers wondering why we didnt start sooner. The committee has known about isis for well over two years. We saw the uptempo probably beginning especially in the fall of last year. Well over a year. I do know that all of this information was available to the white house on a daily basis. They knew what we knew and probably even more. So far the white house being most careful to announce only what the president will not do in iraq and syria. Its important for people to understand that strategy for our military does not include sending combat troops on the ground into iraq or to syria. But it does mean using the military might of the United States to coordinate with our allies in support of fighters that can take the fight to disiefl. Disiefl. Isil. The secretary of state will soon head for the middle east to court more countries in the region for that coalition. Peter doocy live in d. C. With the latest. Yesterday the white house cautioned that the president hes bringing in the top leaders today. The president so far has not decided whether to expand military operations against isis. He still has not decided. Whats interesting, when you hear the president talk, hes still kind of minimizing the threat. Why is that . Heres brit hume. He tends to minimize threats. He tends to play them down. And i think, look, this all flows from a Foreign Policy based on the idea he doesnt want to do anything stupid. As a consequence of that, he looks to play things down. Now hes going to ask u. S. Allies in the mideast to join him to defeat isis. Ask yourself this question if you were a foreign leader urged by mr. Obama to join him in a campaign against a terrorist army in which the u. S. Will clearly do less than it could and your Ground Troops and none of his will be the infantry, how eager would you be to sign up . That is a great point. On top of that, the amount of coordination these military minds need in order to get australia, britain, france, turkey, anybody else that wants to help out u. A. E. And qatar are also in the game think about peoples assets and what theyre willing to do. You need somebody who is definitive going to expwowr empower someone like secretary of defense hagel. He says ill help you but dont tell anybody were helping because it looks bad for our population. Youve got to get sunnies to do a lot of acting which brings us to one thing that i think president obama cares about more than anyone else. What do you want him to do . Believe it, going by what the American People want the president should act and should act quickly. Should airstrikes be used against the sunnis in iraq . 71 of the public says yes. Republicans have 83 of that. Democrats have close to 70. Back in 2003 the white house dragged america to war. In 2014 america is dragging the white house to war. It seems so strange to pick your tools, as brit hume said last night, pick your tools before you have an exact strategy. No craftsman is going to be doing Something Like that. When the Administration Says no boots on the ground, some sort of red line for us. You know about our track record with those red lines. The president is going to meet with the top leaders in Congress Later today, this afternoon. Lets hope something gets worked out. We need it. 12 minutes after the hour on your Tuesday Morning. Disturbing new evidence linking isis and eight american jihaddists including the Boston Marathon bombers who were brothers all to one boston mosque. This as feds investigate a Minnesota Group of somali americans allegedly conspiring to join terrorists in syria and dozens who may already be there. What needs to be done to eradicate the homegrown Terror Threat once and for all . Here to weigh in is the president of American Islamic forum for democracy and a retired u. S. Navy officer. Doctor, does it surprise you that some of this terrorist fervor can be centralized to two locations . No, not at all. Weve been talking about this how many years now . Since 9 11, since november 5 fort hood and weve seen from this mosque in boston, the imam globally who was one of the spiritual guides at the global muslim brotherhood. The reality is that these people are like the alcoholics who hand around the bottle and say we took away their keys. We dont have anything to do with their drunk driving. It is not about violent extremism. It is about the ideology. Muslims that want to address the ideology of jihadization that pulls radicals into the middle east and into groups like al qaeda, we get marginalized, told were antimuslim. Yet we love our faith and trying to reform it but nobody wants to address the ideology. The communications guy at isis now is hardly a wayward soul looking for a stable family. He comes from a stable family. He is highly educated. You cant say in america we couldnt find a way to fit in, so were angry. You cant say that maybe like the boston bombers were saying. Forget about saying america hasnt opened their arms to you. What is the problem . The problem is because of Political Correctness, because of this insulation of minority rights protection, nobody wants to address that. Abu samra was radicalized by a continuum that taught him jihad was the ultimate way, america was at fault, antiislamic fervor was the cause of our flight. And the muslims who want to address reform, thee cratic ideology of political islam, we get marginalized. How many more do we need before america wakes up and says lets hold muslim leadership account fobl for for accountable. Weve got two options. One, muslims who love this country will say there is a crazy guy next to me, keep an eye on hill. Number two, weve got a mayor in new york city who says im going to pull those people out so we no longer have a Looking Glass into what is going on between those walls. That is the key, drop the violent extremism nonsense and focus on muslims who are prowestern and antijihaddists. That is the key. Were not doing it. They could be our best sources. If we dont utilize them were screwed. Dr. Jasser, thank you. Coming up ahead, one of the countrys iconic Roller Coasters up in flames. Will they be able to save it . A Christian Group no longer recognized that 23 State University campuses in california for requiring its leaders to hold christian beliefs. The rules state no campus shall recognize any fraternity, sorority, living group, Honor Society or other Student Organization unless its membership and leadership are open to all currently enrolled students at that campus. Is this Political Correctness going too far . Joining me is the Intervarsity Christian Fellowship National field director greg howell. Good morning. This executive order was issued in 2011. You had a oneyear moratorium on it, just starting to get used to it. How has this hurt your organization already . It prevented students from meeting, new students coming on campus because we dont have access to student activity fairs. Its costing individual chapters between 13,000 and 30,000 a year to reserve rooms. It is saying to students we dont need religious groups on campus. As a recognized group arent you able to talk with faculty, not just at these Student Affairs organizations, recruitment things, doesnt it make you not have as much power on campus . I think it delegitimizes you. It says you are a marginalized group and dont have stangt, dont have the ability to talk to faculty and say youre a recognized group. Youre on some 700 campuses so why arent you grandfathered in the same way fraternities and sororities are based on gender . I think it is a policy that wants to create a safe place for students on campus but they have taken it past absurd. Theyre saying if religious groups want to have distinctly religious leaders thats discriminatory against all students who might want to be leaders who dont believe. It is like saying the Chess Club President doesnt have to know how to play chess. Heres what the california State University office of the chancellor issued a statement for. They say the student groups which have chosen to not comply with state law may continue to meet on c. S. U. Campuses but will not be recognized as official student groups and will not be eligible to receive benefits of official recognition. I imagine this is hard on you guys to deal with. Is it trying for anybodys faith . Is it testing you . I think for most students when given a choice, do you want to give up the clear religious beliefs of your group or get room recognition, theyre unwilling to sell out. Theyre realizing there is a cost to saying we want to be a group that is authentic to our tradition, faithful to what we believe. You have no plans to change your policy on leadership . We dont think we can with integrity. Thank you so much. Good luck. 26 minutes after the hour. Coming up on fox friends, cars under water and homes threatened by flooding after phoenix gets the most rainfall in its history. Its a white house secret youve never heard before. They were unveiling, introducing the president ial leadership scholars program. Its going to be at four different president ial libraries. George w. s library, bill clintons library, George Herbert walker bushs library and l. B. J. s library as well. Look at these guys. They had a great time together. They talked to each other constantly and they found out and confirmed by bill clinton that during his second term they talked weekly about 40 minutes and they talked about interaction, how they leaned on each other. Listen. We talked, depending on how much time he had because he was busier than me, somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes for several years. It meant a lot to me. We never talked about it, never talked about it in public. We talked about everything. He asked my. Half the time he disagreed with it, but i felt good about that. You wonder if president obama does the same thing, talking to bush and asking him for some advice. According to the ed klein book, the obamas and the clintons dont like each other. I dont know that anybody is calling there. Just talking to president bush, how much would that help being that he fought two wars, one of them in iraq, on the very same soil. And pretty much everything president bush said about not leaving a Strong Enough residual force and the warnings about what could happen have come true. Nixon was used by every president after he left office. Think about how often, remember jfk said he went out of his way he didnt tell me this but if you read the biographies, went out of his way to call eisenhower on every major decision out of respect to. It is a tradition which seems to have stopped here. You know, you listen to some people and they say this president doesnt need anybody elses opinion because he believes that he is correct on all matters. Which brings us to the question do you think president obama should or is calling president bush . Or the fact that he ran against everything bush was, would that make him a hypocrite . He should call all of them, call all the expresident s. And what was refreshing about that was a democrat was yucking it up with a republican. You could tell they actually got along. I think it is political in the sense that he understands how unpopular that decision would be with americans. Im deeply dispointed the president hasnt acted where House Republicans failed to act. Honestly the bottom line is of course theres politics going on. Its clear that playing it safe is what is going on at the white house. What would an executive action after the mid term elections hurt the president if the g. O. P. Is in control . Or with they be powerless . Here to weigh in is fox news senior judicial analyst judge andrew napolitano. Lets say republicans take the senate and lets say after the election the president tries to do the executive thing with this executive amnesty, what could the senate ruled by republicans do . Lets say the president has absolutely nothing to fear because he doesnt have to face the voters again and nobody in his party has to face the voters again while hes still president. If the republicans control both houses of the congress, theres a lot of things they could do. They could of course enact legislation nullifying any executive order that he issues. Preemptively . No. That is a great question. After he issues it, they could nullify it if it arguably violates federal law or the constitution. He would veto the nullification and have the opportunity to override the veto so they would need twothirds vote. Second thing, deny funds to the agency that would enforce that executive order. They would do it by legislation. He would presumably veto the legislation. They probably would lack the votes to override the veto but they would try. Heres the most significant thing they can do. The president lacks lineitem veto. He gets a piece of legislation, he signs it or he vetoes it in toto. He cant cross out like governor christie in new jersey can do something he doesnt like and sign the rest. If there is legislation he really needs and the country wants and must have, like funding the defense department, they could sneak in there legislation nullifying these executive orders. Hed be forced to sign it. Poison pill. It is. It is the poison pill. Look, these are not happy times in washington. You just showed that wonderful clip of bill clinton and george w. Bush acting like normal human beings, enjoying each others company. That is not what washington is like in large measure because the president is so devoted to his view of transforming american society. Its going to get worse in the next two years. Heres the thing and you know this. The Political Risk is if you do this to the president and try to stop his legislation, republicans would say you dont like hispanics and president obama would say, look, im trying to help Illegal Immigrants here. Im trying to help this hardworking generation of hispanic immigrants become legal and those republicans are stopping me. Youre risking losing for the president ial in 2016, even less hispanic votes. Guess who is more outraged than anybody else . Hispanic democrats in congress to whom the president promised he would address immigration measures. In a way republicans would find he almost cant win but he painted himself in this corner by promising to do things that he knows should be done by a vote of the congress and not by the first thing he would say is im going to give it a year. Im going to reenforce the bored and Start Talking again. That would put all the pressure on republicans because they would say we cant take one step forward unless we enforce the border. This is not the way the constitution intended the government to operate. The Congress Writes the laws, the president enforces the laws. The president enforces the laws whether he agrees with them or not. That is the way it is supposed to be. Even bill clinton enforced laws he disagreed with. Judge napolitano, thank you very much. We hadnt heard that point of view. 48 minutes after the hour. Coming up on fox friends, the explosive smoking gun on the benghazi terror attack. Station chief said wait or stand down. The House Intel Committee said no, no stand down order. The white house says no stand down order. Whats going on here . Well, this is a way this state department vilifies people. They take one little fact and then they twist it and then they say that fact is not true so these people are lying. It used to be, steve, that the people who were the spokesperson for the state department were all career diplomats. These are political hacks. They are since the Obama Administration started. What theyve done is they take some little nuance, like stand down. Its military term. It technically means an order was given and now the person is supposed to stop. But for awful us who arent military, it means stop. It means dont do it. It means quit. Dont do anything. And im sure bob, who is not military, hes c. I. A. , was using it in the sense that we all would, and these guys understood it in that same sense. This is what the state department with their political hacks do to people. Its unseemly. When i was in the reagan administration, three departments were not supposed to be political. State department, defense department, and justice department. And that just isnt so today. When these three operators and the others came back and they testified behind closed doors to the House Intel Committee, i understand they were harassed by the House Intel Committee that we thought were trying to get all the answers. What was up with that . Republicans. They were told, they were accused that they were not telling the truth. They were threatened with the committee is not going to pay your travel expense, which committees always do for witnesses from out of town, because youre writing a book and youre going to make money. And by the way, you shouldnt be writing a book. You say why would that happen . Was the republican dominated House Intelligence Committee . Well, that chief of staff, the head of that staff that harassed these three brave men, a few months later went to work for beacon global strategy. That is a hillary organization and guess who else is there . Its like a benghazi alumni association, mike morell, number two at the c. I. A. He wrote the talking points. And he wrote the talking points. He became the dci. And leon panetta, who we still havent heard from of what the tick toc for that night and why there was no military response. But let me if we have time, id like to Say Something about bob who is really just a minor character in all of this. The whole reason that this occurred, he was put in that untenable situation was because the security was unacceptable and who made that decision . Hillary clinton did. The ambassador asked for more security. When he went to trip apply in may of 2012, there were 38 security personnel. When he went to benghazi in september, how many, steve . Do you know . Nine. They had shrunk his security and that decision was made by hillary clinton. All right. Victoria with the story you havent heard anywhere else, thank you very much. Were stepping aside. Be right back. Good morning. Today is tuesday, the of september, 2014. Im anna kooiman in for elisabeth hasselbeck. Another bombshell in the ray rice attack video this morning. This one puts the nfl on the defense. What did it know and when . The president asking World Leaders to help us take down the terrorists. The only condition . Use your troops. Not ours. Do you think that will work . There is that suit. Meanwhile, you need to stop, look or listen. No need to do that nomar. One city has a better idea to keep pedestrians safe while crossing the street. Just wave your big red flag. What is that town and who think thats a good idea . Youre watching fox friends. We got a big space for all of you to come down, 48th and 6, dustin lynch, one of the hottest performers in Country Music today will take that stage and do some singing coming up in the next half hour. Were going to do an interview. Look, our buddy from famous daves brought some ribs and some chicken. We got up at 2 00 oclock in the morning. Thats lunch. It almost feels like summer out here on the plaza. It was good to see joe with his group putting the stage together. Justin lynch will be performing songs off his new album and doing the bicep chug. They take the drink and go like this. Wow. Its become very famous. And not just in college circles. Take that, funnel fans. Oftentimes were talking about a world championship, usually a super bowl, world cup or its bad news. Today its bad news. Its bad news for all sports and its bad news especially for ray rice. The video that emerged yesterday from tmz that is now out of business that shows ray rice taking out his fiance. Later would be his wife with one punch so brutal, the nfl quickly the ravens acted and the nfl followed suit. They banned him indefinitely. Ray rice would have been on the field on friday practicing because the ravens twogame ban would have been up after the thursday night game. We showed you that video yesterday and it was horrifying. We have seen the part where he drags her out from the lobby cam, but we hadnt seen what happened inside. The news this morning keep in mind, yesterday we told you there is a story that the nfl had seen this video. There was another story that they had not seen it. According to tmz, the nfl says they never saw it. According to somebody who worked at that particular hotel, nobody from the nfl asked. They said if the nfl asked, we would have turned it over. We turned over a copy to the police and to rices attorney. So now the question becomes and the nfl says, yeah, we requested any and all information, but we never got it because it was a pending case. The nfl could have gone another way. They could have asked rices attorney. They could have asked the hotel. So now there are a lot of people who are wondering just exactly what did the commissioner of this great sport know and when did he know it . When did the commissioner know and is it a top down problem or the investigators, were they incompetent or were they putting their head in the sand and thinking what we dont know cant hurt us and cant hurt one of our players . You hope thats not the case. Since this video has surfaced and Roger Goodell has said ive blown it, he has revamped the Domestic Violence policy in the nfl. But the global outrage on this story, i had a friend who went to rutgers and said she was planning on going to the game this weekend and said i dont know what im going to wear. The only jersey i had was ray rice. And there are reports of the jerseys being burned. There is a couple of investigations. Why did this come out sooner . Tmz is pursuing the fact that maybe the nfl had willful blindness, they knew they could get it but didnt want to see it. The nfl said we didnt know it existed. Somewhere the truth will meet. Here is the question, ray rice in the prime of his career. Hes banned for the year. Will he get a Second Chance . Should he . Former Baltimore Ravens head coach who didnt coach him was on Greta Van Susteren last night. I think were a society and a league of Second Chances. I dont think it will happen this year, first of all, because of the suspension. I think if he goes through the proper protocol, does the things civilly and through the league in terms of what they expect him to do, counseling become the face for spousal abuse and wants to reclaim his personality, i guess i should say or credentials, his credibility, yeah. I think were a society of Second Chances and if he does the right things over the next d see him back in the league. Should we be a society of Second Chances in these teach instances or when they involve people when are role models like ray rice or chris brown . People never thought chris brown would be able to come back after beating rihanna. But hes had huge hits since then. Our facebook question of the day, you can weigh in, should ray rice be banned from the nfl for life . You know, one of the things people are talking about, keep in mind, his career pretty much imploded right there with the release of that video. How did tmz get the video and the nfl, with their billions of dollars of assets and the nfl didnt . The New York Daily News has an op ed today and says if the league covered this up to allow rice to get back on the field, executive heads must roll. If goodell lied about what he knew, his day is done. We did know it was Domestic Abuse and he did get the two games, people were outraged wasnt enough. So he upped it to six and said i was wrong, im going to make the second time, youll be banned for life. Now we see this out and he was instantly banned. Another wrote about the question, says he does deserve jail time, but not suspended for life. He needs to get help. Chuck clark on facebook says, let the legal system handle this. Not the nfl. The legal system passed because she did not press charges. Right. And roy says on facebook, its time these guys understand the blessing theyre given. Ban him for life. Set the example now. Keep emailing us as well. Lets talk about this, later this afternoon at the white house, the president of the United States is going to meet with top lawmakers, speaker boehner, nancy pelosi, harry reid, and mitch mcconnell. Hes going to apparently reveal what hes thinking at this point regarding isis. Hes also going to ask them for 5 billion in counterterrorism funds. Yesterday we told you we had heard that it would be half a billion dollars. Now it is 5 billion. This is a program for counterterrorism the president has talked about in the past and people from both parties said thats way too much money. Both parties balked at it earlier this year, referring to it as slouch fund. There is a real good possibility that 5 billion, hes not gog get. Hes got to itemize and be very specific. 5 billion, does it go to the military which has been gutted . The ohm thing the president cuts is the military. Did the military request that . Im not sure cause i heard they were working with eight other countries. What had are they supplying . Are they providing men or an air force . Paying for our gas . Until you get that coalition together, where do you get that number from . I thought it was very interesting that i think the president in one way is setting us up for syria again. Remember . We got to put it to congressional vote golf and it never came to that. Vladimir putin said ill take his chemical weapons away. Now the president asks for an exorbitant number that nobody agrees on, he goes to the American People and goes, what did i tell you . I asked for 5 million, congress wouldnt give it to me. My hands are tied. You wanted me to work with the other branch of government, didnt you . You also heard of trying down play the threat of isis so somebody else will possibly do something about it. Though its not the president s problem, or so that he doesnt have to act on his own. Right. Also the white house caulked yesterday the president has not yet decided whether to expand military operations against isis. He hasnt decided. Maybe he will decide by this afternoon. Meantime, lets head over to het better the headlines. Good morning. One thing were getting more clarification on potentially is the executioner and his identity, the executioner of the american reporter. American and british authorities may now know exactly who beheaded james foley. According to the u. K. s daily mirror, British Intelligence have a killer under surveillance long before he joined isis in syria. He is known as jihadi john and considered a low level threat at the time because he collected funds for the terror group. F. B. I. Agents in the u. K. Have now joined the British Task Force in trying to hunt down this guy. They will reportedly reveal his true identity within a matter of days. New fears for americans who are traveling overseas. This after a very bizarre story. A u. S. Air marshal was stabbed with a syringe that was filled with some sort of mysterious liquid at an airport in nigeria. The air marshal eventually flew back to houston. Hes been put in quarantine and given a medication as a precaution. Listen to this. Why did this person target u. S. Marshals . Did this person knowingly target u. S. Marshals . And was it for the intent of producing terror . Frightening. That syringe is being examined in the United States by the f. B. I. And the cdc. If youre driving to fort lauderdale, florida later today, no need to stop, look or listen in an effort to make the city streets safer. Listen to this. The city is urging pedestrians to wave these orange flags at cars as they cross the street. The idea has been tested in other cities, but it was dropped after people either stole or misused those flags. Right now its only being used on one busy street. This in fort lauderdale. I guess its a way to not get hit. It kind of looks like la sol solas. A sixlane road in queen that every other person gets hit with, get the flags for that. Thats two lane road. I think other people on the sidewalk should be running for their lives. Thats what theyre trying o do to help out. Its 7 11 here in new york city. Coming up, the president s plan to destroy isis, no american boots on the ground. Can it be done . Our next guest says its already too late. You heard of people sleep walking to the refrigerator, maybe even driving their car. This guys nightmare might be the worst one yet. President obama getting ready to outline his strategy for defeating isis. First to congress and the leaders when he meets with them later on capitol hill today, and then to the American People in a speech ahead of the september 11 anniversary. But one thing the white house is already making clear, there will be no american troops on the ground. The president has been pretty clear about what this about what hes not contemplating. Hes not contemplating the deployment of combat boots on the ground into iraq or syria. The president is always telling us what hes not going to do. Fox news military analyst colonel david hunt says too late. Were already at war. Forget about the declaration. You said you liked the fact that it was going to be a threeyear campaign. Anything else you like about the strategy so far . No. Couple things, were being massively disingenuous about the department of defense said there is 1100 soldiers there. There is over 800 special operation soldiers. They are by definition combat soldiers. Weve had combat soldiers on the Ground Fighting with the kurds, calling in air strikes, five weeks. We dropped 140 bombing missions. Thats thank is war. This feels like after 911, 70 of the American People seem to be okay with this. My issue is be careful what you wish for. This is never easy. Always complicated. There are always unnecessary, unanticipated consequences. Iraq is going to be easy going after isis compared to whats happening in syria. But we are at war and there are boots on the ground. I dont know what that term means anymore. Special operations guys have been there from the beginning and theyre with the kurds and theyre in combat. The rhetoric, the wording is tricky. Whether were at war in the headlines or not. President obama made his case back in august last month about not getting back into another war in iraq. Listen to this. I ran for this office in part to end our war in iraq and welcome our troops home. Thats what weve done. As commander in chief, i will not allow the United States to be dragged into fighting another war in iraq. Colonel hunt, things change, right . Nobody wants another war. Does this all come down to politics and the president trying to look good . Yeah. Im not good at politics. I just think that, first of all, we didnt abandon iraq. We have the largest embassy in the world still there. Over 3,000 Government Employees are in baghdad. Again, were being disingenuous. Were 140 times, weve dropped iron bombs on bad guys in iraq. By the way, they deserve to have bombs dropped on them and we deployed 1,000 soldiers back into a country we had left three years ago. We are at war with isis. The issue is how long and what else were going to go with this like in syria, which is rather problematic. Real quick, when you were here a week or so ago, you said that we cant kill them off unless there are boots on the ground in syria. I did. I also think were going to need more than a talking coalition in the middle east. The word moderate muslim comes to mind, i dont know where they are, but theyve got to come forward and without having combat soldiers into syria, i do not see the air campaign being no air campaign could be successful without it. Im just very circumspect about how we would go into syria considering assad, russia, and iran. This is not a simple operation as it is a little less complicated than iraq. Because we wipe out isis and iran prospers and assad stays. And nobody wants to see that happen. Its got to be something thats finessed, believe it or not. Thanks so much. I dont recall us being very good at that. I may have missed it when we were. All right. Colonel david hunt joining us today from his location today up in maine. Thank you. Coming up, one of the 911 terrorists back up plans, attack a u. S. Nuclear power plant. Now 13 years, wait until you see how easy it is to get past their security. Oh, boy. And 1. 3 Million Students will drop out of high school this year. Our next guest has a plan to change the trend by getting kids to earn when they learn. Good morning. Now to a fox news alert. Heart breaking end to the threeyear search for a missing Nursing Students, holly bobo. Overnight, police revealing they found her remains ten miles from the house of her accused killer. Wztv reporter bob is live in tennessee. Good morning, bob. Reporter good morning. In fact, there was some hunters out and they found the skull. They didnt know whom it came from and they confirmed yesterday, holly bobo. This is a Nursing Student who disappeared three years ago, april 13, 2011. Her brother last saw her going into the woods with a man in camo. Thought it was her boyfriend. Found out that wasnt the case. Earlier this year, there were two men arrested and charged with firstdegree murder. They were charged with murder, but a lot of people ask the question, how are you going to get a conviction without a body because nobody had found holly. There was supposedly a videotape showing her alive, being assaulted that a number of people had seen. They have also been charged as accessories to murder. So this weekend when they found the skull, they were able to identify that as holly bobos and now the District Attorney has that evidence to be able to connect the killers with holly bobo. Thats whats happened this weekend. Thats why its important that they get some kind of confirmation and, again, evidence here as holly bobo, three years after she disappeared. Terrible ending. Thanks so much. Live in tennessee this morning. Lets talk school. This year 3. 3 Million High School students are expected to graduate, but under 1. 3 million expected to drop out. Even worse, 20 of all students are held back at some point in their school career. So with school now back in session, how can teachers combat those numbers . Joseph says more incentives are the answer. Yep. He wrote the book rewards, how they help children learn and why teachers dont use them well. Joseph, youre supposed to learn because its the right thing to do and have that inner drive. What do you mean we need rewards . Well, many of us are driven by internal motivation to do the right thing most of the time. But most of us need something extra, something outside in order to get us to really work our way through difficult tasks. Kids are the same way. So kids respond really well to rewards and incentives in school as well as outside of school. So our book is about how parents and teachers and administrators can use rewards more often to help kids learn. You say everybody has their own trigger, their own thing. For example, you have two pretty cool examples. You have the class system which helps teachers improve behavior and the dream box. Can you describe them . I was in a couple of private schools last week. Saint martini and sherman park in milwaukee. And both of these schools use these programs. Dream box teaches math. Its an on line Interactive Program so its like play ago video game. Kids really like it. They score points when they get the right answer. And it allows kids to track their own performance and for teachers and parents to know exactly where they are and what their problems are. So its a really effective and a great example of how Computer Software can make rewards work to help kids learn. Dojo is the technological system. Teachers use it that reward kids for doing the right thing, like doing their homework on time, showing up, being prepared, answering questions, and then kids are able to see how theyre accumulating points and how good a job theyre doing. Another way to get it is kids are told to go to school whether they want to or not to learn stuff they didnt ask to learn. How do you incentivize them . You keep score. How do you incentivize a teenager . Parents and cools work together. What do teenagers care about . Yeah. Teenagers care a lot about what their peers think. They also care about what adults think, even though theyre pretty good at hiding that. They want to know what their next job is going to be. They want their own opinions to be taken seriously. When you create a incentive system for high school kids, you have to take that into account. You say if you take your work serious, were going to give you the capability to determine where our next outing will be. Or you wont have to sit in a classroom, well let go to the library, museum or even work from home and do a special Research Project like on the history of cars, something that really turns on this young guy. Something that gets a teen excited, something that gets kids excited. I remember when they were going through the coaching course, they said everything you do, you have to keep score. The smallest drill, the most exciting drill, these kids need to keep score because a lot of systems dont do it. These kids dont get excited and therefore, the educational system is in a crisis. Its all in your book. Joe, we just scratched the surface. You got to come back. Id love to be back. Thanks very much. Coming up straight ahead, was the president s deal to swap five terrorists for beau bergdahl illegal . We could find out in hours. And dustin lynch kicked out of chorus has in school. Class in school. How did he bounce back as a top charting sing. Reporter what reward did some teacher give him . Owhe im a fifth scotch. So you need to listen to this story. I think youre talking about another kind of scotch this morning. The scots want independence from the u. K. The queen of england and the u. K. On the brink of major upheaval. Support for scotland breaking from english rule is now growing. There is a new poll that shows Scottish Independence takes the lead over those wishing to keep a 300yearold union with england. Scotland wants more say over its Economic Future while those against it claim independence could spell disaster for the u. K. The vote takes place next thursday. Interesting there. Back here, all eyes on apple today in anticipation of a big announcement. Theyre set to unveil its iphone 6. Its rumor to do have a larger screen, tap to Pay Technology and better camera. Also expected to be unveiled, the socalled iwatch that comes in two sizes. It can track your health. But that may not be released until 2015. In our next hour well talk to Clayton Morris life from california and thats where the announcement will take place. Hes so excited. Today the house will vote on whether or not president obamas deal to swap five terrorists for beau bergdahl was illegal. This after the Government Accountability office found the white house did not give congress the required 30day notice before transferring those prisoners out of gitmo. That happened today in the house 7 one camper lucky to be alive today after sleep walking off a cliff. Take a look at this guy as hes being rescued. He fell down 60 feet in kentuckys red river gorge and land in an area that was filled with bolders. He hit his head during the fall, but hes expected to make a full recovery. Thank goodness for that. Can you imagine sleep walking off a cliff . Wow. Those are your headlines. Lets head outside to maria with a check on the weather. Good morning. I dont know if you noticed about me, but i was born in nicaragua. They had a meteorite touchdown out there. There is an incredible video that has more thanked of it coming down there. Thats a country in central america. I called my mom and she said everybody was okay. So thats very good news. We do want to take a look at the weather conditions across the country. In the southwestern United States, weve had incredible flash flooding occurring there. Youve seen the images out of phoenix. Flash flooding across roads and cars swept away. There is still more rain on the way for parts of arizona and utah, into colorado. We have flash flood watches in effect there. Farther toward the east, temperatures are still feeling very much like summer. Still officially summer. You can see them in the 90s out there across parts of texas and also in places like kansas city. But there are going to be some big changes on the way. We have a cold front thats going to be sweeping across the center of the country and also into the midwest. Ahead of that storm system, we do have the possibility for Severe Weather not only today, but also as we head into tomorrow. We are looking at a risk for damaging winds, large hail and even some tornadoes. Behind that system, its going to get a lot cooler. Temperatures are forecast to dip into the 50s as far south as parts of the texas panhandle coming up on friday. Now lets head over to brian and anna. He burst onto Country Music scene with cowboys and angels and today dustin lynch is releasing his new album today. Hello. Hi. Big congratulations. Rolling stone voted your album one of the most anticipated of the month for Country Music, which is pretty big, especially for a guy who got a c in music class . Thats right. You werent allowed to do chorus because of it. How did you become what you are today . I guess thats why i joined the band because i couldnt do chorus in High School Like the rest of my friends. I said well start a band and do our own thing. Growing up in nashville, Country Music was everywhere. When did it become your dream . As long as i can remember its been my dream. My mom says i went from dressing up like batman to garth brooks the next year. He was like a super hero to me. Ive always wanted to sing. You had a job that had nothing to do with music. Like most of us, you have to have other jobs to do what you really want to do. You were working in an environmental plant. You were testing sewage and Chemical Waste runoff. Why did you leave that glamour . The crappiest job i ever had. This is a lot more fun. And youre helping a lot of other people have fun with this. Youre a friend of fox friends. Weve got some people that have done the dance with us. I think we have some old video of that. But tell us about the success of the tshirts that you have on the market with this now, right . Bicep chug, its almost like having a hit song. Its bizarre. Who knows what will catch on . Its something my stupid, ridiculous bass player came up with one night on the bus here in new york. Hes the clown of the bunch. And we just tweeted a picture of us doing and all of a sudden it took off. We have some ladies around here. Did you hear hes one of the sexiest men of country, too . Thats what ted was talking about, our camera man. I dont know about the women. Dustin, in particular for you, this has emerged, everyone is waiting for this album. What could you tell us about the album that youre going to be play ago cut from later . Gosh, its a twoyear process for me. Ive been writing and recording for two years. The day is finally here. 15 new songs. Really excited about the music. The 15 songs are things ive been through in the past couple of years and experienced and i changed a lot from my first album to this because i got to travel the country with keith urban and make a lot of new friends and memories and thats what this is about. So you got experience to write about. Are you going to play later . You brought your band out here. We hooked up the microphone. Thats right. What can we hear . Were going to do the single where its at and halo and mind reader and other tunes that will be streaming on line. Steve, tell us whats coming up next in our show while dustin stretches out for his show . Indeed i will. Thank you. Coming up, on 911 terrorists had it as a back up plan. Attack a u. S. Nuke plants, a power plant. 13 years later, wait until you see how easy it is to get past the governments socalled security. And panera bread says it respects your Second Amendment rights, but dont exercise them there. Were going to explain. Plus time for todays trivia question. Born on this date in 1966, this actor shot to stardom as opera man on saturday night live. Who is he . Email us with the correct answer. Youll be todays winner. Quick headlines now. Chain asking customers to leave their guns home. Even if they are legal. The ceo says, quote, we recognize everyones right and we also recognize we are Building Communities in our cafes. And watch how this dog adjusts to two broken legs and hopping through the doorway. She was injured after leaping off a sixfoot deck. Thats a warning to other dogs watching at home. Steve . Thanks. So how easy do you think it is to get access to a Nuclear Power plants in the United States . As one daily caller reporter found out issues its easier than you think. Video shot last friday shows that reporter, along with a picture maker, driving right through an unmanned guard gate and within 600 feet of a Nuclear Reactor. They even we want back a second time and realized the unmanned guard gate was padlocked. It sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. So why is the security so lax there and who is defending our homeland from a particular possible attack at a Nuclear Plants . Tucker carlson is the editor in chief of the daily caller. You also see him on the weekends here on fox friends and joins us from d. C good morning to you. Good morning, steve. We got a tip from someone who had been to this plant last month who said ive never seen anything like this. This is the softest target ive ever seen. We drove right through. I sent a couple of my reporters. They drove through literally the guard gate at 35 miles an hour. There was nobody there and right up to within a dangerous range away from the Nuclear Power plant and nobody stopped them. Nobody said anything. They saw not a single security guard. As they were there, a civilian truck, a large panel truck drove they watched him, drove right in and right up to the nuclear plant. This is crazy. There goes the truck right there. Perhaps a little smaller than the truck from oklahoma city. It looked like pretty much a ghost town there when you look at that particular approach to the facility. The worry is that somebody has a truck full of bombs or Something Like that, gets close enough, they could do some real damage. Well, yeah. Or ten trucks full of bombs. Hopefully after this air this is morning and on our site, security will improve there. I imagine it will. But as of right now, you could take out this Nuclear Reactor pretty easily. By the way, i should say this is right outside washington. Its within the fallout zone. 50 miles from downtown d. C its an area of almost 4 million people. And you could wreck the area. This is terrifying. Spokesperson for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Said this based on the security inspections weve conducted on an ongoing basis, security at Calvert Hills is appropriate to protect the Public Health and safety. Thats great. Meanwhile, the plant owner tucker says, quote, the fences and checkpoints you see are only a smart part of the defense indepth security strategy. In fact, much of our defense lies in the things you dont see. Well, thats it. You just didnt see them by the way, one of the points of security is to deter attacks. Im at the fox bureau, i cant get in this building without showing a pass or my drivers license. You have to get a blood test to get into congress. There is a lot of security in the city and when our reporter called the obama people, they blew him off and said everything is fine. Nothing to look at. Really . No. Also i understand that a visitor there said to one of your reporters, said this is the softest target i have ever seen in my life. Yeah. There is nothing there to prevent wrong doers from really causing a massive mess. Its a Nuclear Power plant right outside washington. I mean, its really surprising. A, that this happened. And b, that this seem completely unembarrassed about it and claim that everything is fine. By the way, i should say, as you can tell on the screen, our cameraman is taking pictures. Is videotaping this. Thats not try that outside the f. B. I. Building, for example. Theyll stop you. They certainly will. All right. Lets see if anything happens now that the daily caller has blown the lid off the fact that there is no security at that nuke plant not far from washington, d. C tucker, thank you very much. Well see you here on saturday. Thanks, steve. What do you think about that . Email us. Thats just crazy. Straight ahead, how would you like to get paid to get a massage . They have playrooms in a lot of their offices so the kids are busy while mom and tad are talk being their taxes. Sometimes they turn into full time positions. Yeah. Get your foot in the door. Except we have the national grid. Thats an electricity and gas company. Got to keep the lights on in this country. This is national grid. Theyve got 200 Jobs Available right now. They need people that can work on the call centers. Then they also need people that can work in different parts of the company. If you need to work on the grids and installers, engineers, those are also great jobs for this company. And they also have a great veteran employment program. I would like to highlight that with our companyies. This is shamrock foods is a distribution company. They like kind of deliver to restaurants and things. They also have shamrock dairy. Have you ever had their milk . Youve probably seen them in your Grocery Store. They have 200 jobs across all the different divisions, maintenance, warehousing, they need drivers and this is a great company. The benefits are really strong. The pay can be actually fairly decent. Food service you dont think about when you talk about engineers and Health Services and stuff. But just the basic things that keep our country going, there are jobs there. We got to eat. Next up, network fob. I think its fob. Theyre probably going to call me. Its shipping. So its shipping, its packaging, things like that. Independent network. But its freight. So everything that obviously goods and Services Needs to be shipped. 300 jobs. They want to try and fill these by the end of the year. Account managers, logistic coordinator, branch managers, admin. You can make up to 105,000 a year, which is good and monthly massages if you work at the company. We into he had to employ that policy here. We do its a stress filled industry in television. Cheryl casone, thank you so much. Everything is at casone exchange. Com. There are links to apply and more information on the companies. Thank you so much. 56 minutes after the hour. Coming up, president obama set to reveal his master plan to address isis. Will he strike the right cord . Laura ingraham weighs in next. And meeting the president in the oval office is a chance you just cant pass up. Think this kid cares . Hes sleeping. Mellow. Good morning. Today is tuesday, the 9th of september. Im anna kooiman. Another bombshell in the ray rice attack. This one puts the nfl on the defense. What did it know and when . Meanwhile, president obama is looking for some buyin from congress to attack isis. But says he doesnt need them. This from the man without a strategy. So what is next . Laura ingraham joins us live from our nations capitol to weigh in. And were just hours away t iphone gadgetg announcement or phone. But you wont have to wait that long. We have a live report from our insider from california this hour. I wont give away his name. All right, its clayton. Mornings are better with friends. Big Country Music star dustin lynch out live on the plaza today viewing his new debuting his new album. Hes a friend of fox friends. Were happy to have him here. Yeah. He says he was up since 2 30 this morning. We should have let him host. Thats when we get up. Its going to be good. Im curious about this new bicep drinking game. The bicep curl. You men are going to learn thousand do it. He showed us how it do it in the last hour. You hold the key to the secret of my new life. Hes going to be performing throughout the hour. So stop on by 48th and 6th avenue. Laura ingraham comes up in a moment to talk about the news of the day. But right now we turn to Heather Nauert who is talking about one of those guys we saw in the video. Thats right. U. S. Authorities and british authorities are closing in on this guy, the terror executioner. We may now know exactly who beheaded james foley. He was american. According to the u. K. Daily mirror newspaper, British Intelligence had him under surveillance long before he joined the terror group isis. Now known as jihadi john. He was apparently considered a lowlevel threat by authorities at the time because he was collecting funds for the terror group. But not doing anything more than that, or so they thought. F. B. I. Agents in the u. K. Joined the British Task Force in trying to hunt him down. They will reveal his identity within a few days. New fears this morning for americans who are traveling overseas. This after a u. S. Air marshal is stabbed with a syringe that was filled with a mysterious liquid as he was just about to go through security at an airport in nigeria. He was flown to houston, texas and put in quarantine and given medication as a precaution. Why did this person target u. S. Marshal as soon as did this person knowingly target u. S. Marshals . And was it for the intent of producing terror . What is in that syringe is being looked at by the f. B. I. And also the cdc. Ebola is on its way to america once again. A fourth american doctor who got that disease while he was working in west africa will be zone to Dobbins Air Reserve base this morning and taken to Emory University hospital in atlanta for treatment. The identity of the doctor and his condition or her condition not being released at this point. Last month two other american aid workers were treated at emory and successfully recovered. A third is being treated in nebraska and he is said to be improving. They say a picture is worth 1,000 words and this one takes the cake. Do you see that little boy screen left . Hes all dressed up to meet president obama in the oval office. But he was not too impressed. He was apparently so bored that he took a face plant into one of the most prestigious sofas in the world. His father is a secret service agent. Hes about to leave the job and he was getting a farewell sendoff from the president. Those are your headlines. Just cant control them. Of course not. Were in the oval office. Thank you. Time to dial in laura ingraham. She joins us every week at this time. Good morning to you. Thats what i wanted to do. When i saw those jobs numbers, i wanted to jump into the sofa, bury my face. Thats a cute picture. First off, welcome. And i got to get your response to whats going on with the ray rice situation. Tmz says this morning that theyre going to reveal additional information about how the nfl could have gotten this earlier and they never asked to see the video. Out of this whole scenario, what surprised you the most . When the first video of him just kind of dragging her out of the elevator surfaced many weeks ago, a lot of us were tweeting around and brian, i know you were on this as well. Whats going on here . Whats the other part of the story . So it takes tmz, which does have its way of getting these videos and getting all this salacious information, it takes tmz web site to get the full video . Ravens didnt ask for the video. The nfl Commissioners Office apparently did not ask for the video either. Now, to me, this is so egregious, so infuriating, when you see how he hit her, he basically knocked her off her feet, then kicks her with his feet to get her out of the elevator. The nfl should have asked for that tape. Should have demand the tape. And none of that happened. I find it appalling, disgusting, and its willful ignorance on the part of the nfl. I certainly hope there arent other players out there who have similar issues in public the way they treat women, children, whatever. We obviously saw the michael vick situation years ago. But this i think is a black eye for the ravens and for the nfl, unless were going to learn Something Different about their desire to have that full footage. Apparently the nfl, theyre saying hey, we requested all the stuff from the cops, because pending an investigation, nothing came out. They could have gotten it from his attorney. They could have gone directly to the casino. This morning were asking people and our email machine is lighting up whether or not he should wind up with a lifetime ban. What do you think . Look, im not the sports expert here. But i find this behavior in a platform that these players get, the privileges, the great privilege to play in the nfl, to be on that sport stage week in and week out. You must conduct yourself a certain way. Im sorry. I know everybody is tatted up and they trash talk and thats fineful but if youre going to treat a woman like this, what else are you going to do . Were worried about their getting concussions . Im worried about the fiance now wife getting a concussion. Would i ban him for life . Well, Michael Vicks playing. But this is a person. Im a dog lover, too, so it all is horrifying to me. If i were the commissioner of the nfl, i wouldnt have people like that playing in the league. What do you think the fallout should be for the nfl if it comes tout that it was willful ignorance and not the investigators being incompetent and not being able to do their job, but willfully putting their head in the sand and letting this by . Look, weve had sports teams go through all this angst recently about owners with their racist commence and there was a big push to drive the clippers owner obviously out of professional sports. Hes out. So the question is, was mr. Goodells office, if there is no email trail, if there is no series of calls, if there are no demands to see the full tape and maybe there are. I will say im corrected if that exists. If there wasnt an aggressive attempt, all avenues exhausted to get the full video footage, then i think his office has an enormous amount to ask for and the ravens squad and all of the leadership of the ravens, ditto. I would add this, the a. P. Reported late last night that they were able to see just the just the a. P. Were able to see a much clearer picture. They were able to hear it and it turns out surprise palmer can be heard shouting obscenities to each other and she appears to spit at him before the knockout blow. After that, hes heard saying shes drunk, right . No cops, right . No response from rice. She had a messed up face, didnt she . So nobody wants to its a famous person, so nobody wants to ask the next question. And hes a great player, so nobody wants to really do the followup. Look, we all have small children. We want them to behave a certain way. I think we all everyone makes mistakes. But this is a criminal battery. The fact that she didnt want to pursue it as a criminal battery, thats the Big Conversation about spousal or partner abuse. To me, this is so egregious and it was, to me, it was obvious the first time i saw the tape, brian. It was obvious that something really bad happened. Okay . Were not able to get i dont buy any of it. Im sorry. It doesnt pass the straight face test. Thats my womans intuition. If not for the video, he would have been on the field practicing. Boy have things changed. Thank you for joining us. We know you got to do your radio show. We know politics no politics. Thats actually fun. Thanks. Thanks. Ten minutes after the top of the hour. The president is going to meet with congressional leaders today, four of them, looking for help on attacking isis. But says hell move with or without them. So what does Congress Need to hear . House Intel Committee chair mike rogers live from washington next. And they act like brothers from other mothers. It turns out these two president s have a lot more in common than you think. Democrat and republican getting along . Is that possible . The white house offering a very few clues about what president obama is going to say in his speech tomorrow where hes supposed to spell out what were going to do about isis. What do lawmakers want to hear from our hander in chief . Congressman mike rogers is the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and joins us today. Good morning to you. Good morning, steve. How are you . Im doing okay. I now the four top leaders of congress are going to meet with the president today. Tomorrow hes going to meet with apparently senators and on thursday hes going to meet with the house of representatives. What does the white house need to talk to you guys about . Well, its more important he talks to the American People as well as congress. But what he doesnt need to do is give a laundry list of things that he will not do to try to defeat isis. I think he needs to engage in what the threat is. Remember, they have thousands of people with western passports, meaning they can have access to europe and the United States by just buying a plane ticket that are now radicalized. Theyre part of this isis organization. Incredibly dangerous. And this is a terrorist group with an army thats on the march. So we have got serious work to do. He needs to lay out that case and he needs to show that he can be a leader, that he can coalesce and get nato to do more than they want to do. He hasnt shown that in the past. This is his important moment to do that. Do you believe that people behind the scenes know what the strategy is . Does the Intel Community know what the white house is thinking yet . I have to tell you, we went through a whole series of meetings even just yesterday and its not clear to them yet where theyre going, which is a little shocking, a little disappointing and a little concerting for me. I hope that that turns around here pretty quickly. There is a lot of things to do if the president decides to move forward on a plan. Normally you have that done prior to your announcement. Im a little surprised a lot of that work isnt done. Tomorrow i guess will be an important day not only for those of us on the National Security committee, but the folks who will do the National Security implementation for what that plan is. Speak of security, here on the channel on friday night we had a one hour special, 13 hours of benghazi. Im sure you saw part of it. And its interesting, three of these guys who are special operators, they came on camera and said that when things were going down the drain, they were talking to the c. I. A. Station chief, bob, and he told them to stand down, just hold on. Dont do anything at this point. I understand your committee has looked into it and there was no stand down order. Yet they were told dont move. So which is it . Well, its probably a combination of both. So a former f. B. I. Guy, we interviewed everybody in that chain of command, including the individual that theyre calling bob on the compound, including the station chief who was in tripoli at the time. So what i think theyre referring to is these guys grouped up and they had an unofficial relationship with the mission force, meaning that there was no it was not their responsibility to go and rescue them. Their job was to protect the annex, because it was a sizable annex. A lot of people there. Their job was to provide security there. But they had this unofficial relationship. Why . Because when they went to talk to the state department agent, they realized then that they were not in a position to protect themselves. So these guys are heros from the word go. I hope their book sells a million copies. The problem is what happened was the commander on the ground, this guy theyre calling bob, when these folks came up, they got in the vehicle and said we made a promise, were going, he said, wait a minute. I need to figure out a, whats going on. And b, if i can get you any better weapons and maybe even some help to go. We dont know if there ispeopler 500. So that dispute ended up it wasnt even a dispute. It was the commander on the ground making the decision. I think it took 23 minutes before they all, including that commander, by the way, got in a car and went over and rescued those individuals. This is the first were actually hearing them talk about what happened. I understand they have gone to washington. Theyve talked to the Intel Committee. Whats interesting is the attorney for gregory hicks, state department whistle blower regarding benghazi, she says that these guys who we met friday night for the first time, theyve been harassed by your committee. Listen to this. They were told, they were accused that they were not telling the truth. They were threatened with the committee is not going to pay your travel expense, which committees always do for witnesses who come in from out of town, because youre writing a book and youre going to make money. That chief of staff, the head of that staff that harassed these three brave men a few months later went to work for beacon global strategies. That is a hillary organization. What shes saying is they were threatened with perjury for telling their story. Is that true . No, they were not threatened with perjury. What we do, its interesting. The lawyers asked that none of their testimony be released until after their book was out and being sold. So this is so horribly unfor nate. I think you have lawyers who have a financial interest in this certainly making allegations that are far from true. We have professional investigators. Im a former f. B. I. Agent. Our goal was to get the facts and put them on the record so that we could have a record. The sad part about this is the state department made some horrific decisions that i believe contributed to the death of those four individuals. That is all going to get lost in these folks as i said, i hope everybody buys their book because these are very brave souls who served their country proudly who ended up driving into unknown circumstances and save them. Thats all really good. So the only way if people buy the book is with inflammatory comments. These are attorneys who have a stake in this. We asked these transcripts be released and americans can find out the real truth. Were looking for the select committee to did he tell get at all the get at all the truth. Thank you for joining us today from dc. Thanks. Straight ahead, cycling not usually known for its fights, but this slap down is epic. Teenagers randomly attack people in the store parking lot and now the police say they may hold the parents responsible. Good idea or legal anxiety . Coming up, those two will battle it out. Quick headlines now. Monday night football had twogame. Matthew stafford and the lions got lucky against the joins. Final score, 3514. And the Arizona Cardinals scoring two late touchdowns to take down the chargers 1817. That was a fine game. Next, one of the most unexpected u. S. Open games ever. One of only four players to win the u. S. Open without dropping a set. And two cyclists getting in a fight in the middle of a race as they ride in spain. Both were kicked out of the race. They told us why, but it was in spanish. Now lets switch to the topic at hand. Chaos as a teen mob attacks three people in a Grocery Store parking lot and the police say they know exactly who is to blame. The perpetrators parents . You know who your child is. You dont need a masters degree to know who your child is. They were going to sit down and try to craft a plan where we can hold parents accountable for your kids actions. We can do a lot, but we cant do everything. And i certainly cannot raise every single kid. They were playing a game called point out, knockout. Is this fair to hold the parents responsible or legal insanity . Joining us for a look, arthur aidala, went to law school, and psychiatrist keith ablow, he became a psychiatrist, which is tougher in my mind. First off t right to hold the parents responsible for the horrifics acts of teenagers . Common sense that came out of the mouth of the mayor and the police chief in memphis, tennessee, is exceptional. And so refreshing because they are correct. Not only do the parents need to be involved because whats happening is who is paying for all this . We are. Those kids are going to get a free lawyer. The taxpayers pay for t. Theyre going to go into some sort of system that the taxpayers pay for. There is only so much the police can do. There is only so much the School Teachers can do. The parents need to be held responsible for the actions of their juveniles. One parent did turn their 15yearold in. Ten have been arrested. One is 20 the rest are teenagers. How long can you be this early wrong can you be this early in the morning . Talk about opening the door to government intrusion. Now were going to open the door, just like the scots want to do and have the government start arresting parents . I didnt say arresting. No, no. They say held responsible. Clearly there is a parenting problem. Sure, there is. But these arent dogs. You cant chain them in the backyard and pre no one says chain them. Teach them basics. When they start school, why dont we start teaching empathy . The video shows a human being lying on the floor in distress and these kids picking up pumpkins and smashing them on their heads. And just to add to that, two kroger employees come running out to help. They get knocked out. Were talking about arthurs desire to make the parents pay a penalty for the actions i didnt say pay. Hold them responsible. Very simple. Hold them responsible is what the Law Enforcement people said and arthur said brilliant. Not brilliant. You cant be held what, is there a new class of law in town . Give me a breck. There is juvenile courts and departments of social services. Now were going into my world with the juvenile courts. In the juvenile courts, the best and brightest judges bring the parents in. If the parents will come in and sit with the parents and talk to them about their child. Thats not what were talking about. Part of the plea disposition should include a parenting class. The parents have to take thats not what these guys are talking about. This is a multiple offender. Correct. The parents need to be held accountable to you how to discipline a child. It could be gang related. This is another way to hook the government into parenting rights. People should parent their kids. We have lots of ways. What if they dont . Then their kids are held responsible. What else . An intelligent conversation. But i can move the conversation forward, but i cant heal your relationship. It will continue for a long time. Discord here. I guess he has to get the last word in. Always. Psychosis for that. 32 minutes before were done. Meanwhile, a potential breakthrough this morning for children with autism. It may be reversible if you do one thing. Detail he was a new study. And Clayton Morris standing by in california outside apples secret building with a sneak peek at apples huge announcement on its newest iphone. Please dont talk. Dont give away yet, clayton. First, the summer concert with justin lynch performing mind reader. Well, if youre an iphone fan and there are millions around the globe, the big day is finally here. Apple is about to unveil its iphone 6 and perhaps one more thing. What is that . Dont know. But one lucky guy is Clayton Morris, outside the flint center in california. Why are you in cupertino and not San Francisco . Thats odd, isnt it. The flint center, they havent been here since steve jobs rolled out the original macintosh. But they also built this giant building. Apple built a threestory white cube building. In fact, there is an aerial live shot. They put up a drone to fly over this thing. What in the world is this . What is apple building . Theyve got table saws still going. Theyre still putting the finishing touches on other structures. I have a feeling this could be what the thousands of journalists descending on where we get the hands on with the iphone 6s, how many of them will there be . 4. 7inch iphone, 5. 5inch iphone. This will be the big room where thousands of journalists will get to go through and play with the new devices. One of the features im most excited about, im sure your wallets are larger than mine, you didnt even disagree with me on that, sure, its gigantic and you cant sit on them, is the paying for groceries with your iphone, being able to add your credit card how does that work . The idea is that with touch i. D. , it would be even more secure than using your credit card. How many credit card breaches do we hear of on a regular basis . So you get the new iphone 6, type in your credit card information, and able to go up to some of the partner stores, whether its target, wall walgreens. Rumbles that other major retailers are on board so you dont have to carry your wallet. A dream world. Its also about a partnership. They must have gotten other Companies Interested in this. They all have to be on board for this to work. Im sure thats part of the announcement today. Absolutely. Think about it, 2 trillion in credit Card Transactions in 2012 in the United States of america. If apple can get a slice of that, that will be a big win for them. All the buzz is what this watch will be. What will this be today . Last night i tweeted, i said, i think this event could be bigger or as big as the ipad launch. Rumors im hearing this morning is going to be much bigger. In fact, there are even rumors that the band you2 will take the stage at some point. Who knows . But will they be here for whatever wearable device is shown off on stage. A watch that you could track your heart rate, every step you take and have that interaction with some sort of device on line. So its a new frontier. This could be a new product category for appearle appearle d shake things up. A lot of folks dont wear watches anymore because you have your phone next to you. This is going to have to outdo the iphone somehow, right . Or ipad. Right. Think how big the iphone is. Huge product category. And the ipod was dwarfed in comparison to the iphone. So what new product category can apple has that much of an impact, that has everyone talking like that . We know of some big designers coming on board apple recently. So it would have to be compelling enough that it would rival some of the big watches weve seen that you would go in and pay maybe 1,000 for at one of those Big Department stores. Would it be stylish that even you would wear it op the show . We would move to the chairs. But real quick, no one knows better than you that steve cook has not brought innovation since steve jobs left. There will be that historic feeling about steve jobs presence here given the macintosh. This is undeniably tim cooks company. I will be live tweeting inside the events. Any questions you have, you can fire them at me during the pick apple event this afternoon. Clayton morris live, thank you very much. Meanwhile, here is Heather Nauert with headlines. Good morning. Got a story. We have covered this story extensively. A heart breaking end to the threeyear search for missing Nursing Student holly bobo. Overnight Police Announcing they just discovered her remains ten miles from the house of her accused killer, zachary adams. Hes one of the two men who have been charged in the killing of the 20yearold in her disappearance and murder. Her family is expected to make a statement around noon later today. A potential breakthrough for helping children suffering from autism. There is a small study at the university of californiadavis and it is providing families with new hope this morning. The results reveal that signs of autism may be a race to erased if babies start therapy before they even begin to walk. The study tested just seven infants, so its considered very, very small. Between ages of six and nine months old. By the time they reach their third birthday, five showed no symptoms of autism. A sixth child had mild symptoms. Researchers hope to begin a larger study. One of the countrys most iconic Roller Coasters going up in flames. Look at this. Watch as the highest point, flags Magic Mountain ride coo lapses. Its a wooden Roller Coaster and now been shut down for three weeks. No one was in the park at the time. The cause has not been determined just yet. Political opposites now friends. Former president george w. Bush and bill clinton leaving the crowd in stitches at a joint scholarship event. They revealed news about their relationship and offer important family advice. Listen to this. This is the most independent agent in human history. We were laughing about going to restaurants and having to spend our time taking selfyies with people. At least theyre still asking, you know. Yeah. Thats right. Only two people have this number and theyre both related to me. I hope im not being told im about to become a premature grandfather. Thats right. Get ready to be like the lowest person in the pecking order in your family. They should take that show on the road. The two former president s avoid a discussion of president obama. But president bush started calling president clinton twice a year and then they became good friends. Bill clinton was george bushs secret advisor. Right. Nice story. 20 minutes before the top of the hour. Weve got extreme weather. Deadly storms shattering records in arizona. More than three inches fell in a single day. Most cars abandoned as they tried to make their way down the wet roads. And from above, watch this Firefighter Rescue a mother and her little baby girl from the rising water and its not over yet. Am i right, maria . Thats right. Good morning. Were expecting more showers and storms across parts of the southwest. Three inches of rain for that part of the country is a lot of rain. Thats why we saw that incredible flash flooding across that region and we continue to see those flash flood watches in effect because an additional inch or so of rainfall is possible not just in parts of arizona, but also as you head into parts of western colorado and also up into utah and nevada. We also have the potential for severe storms today across northern plains. Tomorrow in sections of the midwest from parts of missouri, ohio, and michigan. Thats all associated with the cold front moving eastward and behind that, its going to get a lot chillier across portions of the plains. Lets head back inside. Summer is over. Thank you very much. Were back to our summer concert series, kind of. Coming up, for most people, the video is clear. Showing ray rice allegedly knocking out his then fiance with one punch. So why isnt he in jail . Peter johnson, jr. Takes on the legal aspects of this case next. And come on down and join us. 48th and 6th for a live performance from country superstar dustin lynch. Quarter til the top of the hour. The Baltimore Ravens suspending runningback ray rice after shocking video shows him punching his fiance. But is the punishment enough . Why isnt he in jail . Here to weigh in is peter johnson, jr. , fox news legal analyst. Good morning. Thanks for being with us. Not enough. Maybe he should be in jail. Today the nfl, the ravens, rice and the prosecutor in new jersey are all big, big losers. Mr. Rice is going to benefit from a Diversionary Program where if he keeps his nose clean for a year, he will walk without a conviction. The arrest will be shown for aggravated assault for what happened in the elevator in the hotel. But there will be no conviction Going Forward. What is this Diversion Program . Basically says youll attend a program, cause youre a first time offender and the d. A. Agrees to it. The d. A. Agreed to it here. So the question becomes, did the d. A. Have this tape . Did the nfl have this tape . Did the ravens have this tape . And if none of them had the tape, why didnt they have the tape . We see a woman being dragged by a 200pound man, a sixyear nfl player, a huge star, a big strong guy out of an elevator unconscious. Your first question is what happened in the elevator . So the only reason you wont know what happened in the elevator is if you werent really interested in finding out what happened in the elevator. So is this a case of the nfls investigators not being able to do their job well enough because the casino in Atlantic City, new jersey, said we would have given them the tape had they asked for it. Professional sports, including the nfl, reaches out to some of the best security and police minds in the country. Former police officers, former federal agents. Theyre part of the nfl security team. So it can only lead to the conclusion and the inference that maybe someone wasnt really interested in finding out the truth. What happened in that elevator . Now we know as to what actually happened. So should mr. Rice continue to be in the Diversionary Program now that weve seen this . What should happen Going Forward . We know the nfl has indefinitely suspended mr. Rice. Is that enough . Should he be banned from football for his entire life . We know whats happened in terms of Football Players mishandling and abusing beautiful dogs. But here we have a man apparently striking in an aggravated assault a beautiful young woman who he eventually married. She said maybe its okay. The ravens even put her tweets up on their twitter feed. But how are we feeding this and what do we do as a nation, as a football fan, as Football Team and as prosecutors to make sure this is treated in a fair and equitable way . You cant walk around with blinders and you cant say, i didnt see what was going on. No, i didnt know it was happening. Roger goodell already said i blew it with the twogame suspension and now ray rice is indefinitely suspended. Dont want to beat up on goodell, they all blew it. The prosecutor blew it. Now we know the truth. Lets see what we do moving ahead. Peter johnson, jr. , thanks for your legal expertise. Good to see you. Coming up, the ladies love dustin lynch. His hit song, newest one, is up next. First lets check in with hemmer for whats coming up at the top of the hour. They were fired up outside at 6 00 oclock this morning. Theyre warmed up. You want to know where the American People are when it comes to taking on isis . Wait til you see the new polling numbers today. Wow. What did the nfl know . When did it know it . This ray rice story exploded again today. Why are Nuclear Power plants at home not guarded . Great question. Terrific line up. A lot of news to get to and martha and i will see you shortly, top of the hour. 11 minutes away. j before anybody leaves, stick around because were going to tell you all about a big give away after that guy sings. Hes debuting his latest album out today. Hit it, guys here we go. Yall ready to sing and dance a little bit .
