I think by that tweet and the specific rhetoric that she uses they are talking about racism and that concluding line that is the rhetoric of the boycott the vestments movements, sanctions movement and to me, the fact that she is refusing now to see her own grandmother and instead is putting out this posturing statement is a reflection that ultimately this trip was going to be if it had occurred with congresswoman omar the exact thing the israelis did not want to occur which is to say a trip designed to express hatred and advance hatred towards the state of israel. But i think she is clearly choosing the political posturing over the moral import of going to see an elderly loved one and i think most people watching this would see if we had an opportunity to go visit an elderly relative we hadnt seen in a long time, that would come before nearly everything else. Why did Police Ultimately determined this was a suicide . Thank you, and thank you for giving the zahau family to share this problem they are having with the sheriff in san diego. For background, about eight years ago, rebecca was found naked, her legs tied together in her hands behind her back and a gag in her mouth hanging off a mansion in coronado. Very suspicious circumstances, the sheriff did a quick investigation and came out with a finding that it was suicide. It shocked a lot of people in the main reason i think the sheriff said the finding to be suicide is it was only rebeccas fingerprints and only rebeccas dna found at the scene, which on the surface sounds like something significant. Sandra what would lead the family to believe this wasnt suicide and that this was a murder . First of all, they know rebecca. She was a christian, she had respect for herself, she didnt do drugs come i didnt drink, very stable, very supportive person. And certainly wouldnt do something where she would embarrass and humiliate her family by doing this naked which is also another shocking part of the case because every psychiatrist, every forensic pathologist that has looked at this said they havent ever seen a situation where woman has committed suicide naked which is shocking everyone. Sandra they were many twists and turns in this story, one of which her boyfriend brothers mansion this happened at, correct me along the way if anything is not accurate, but this happened she was babysitting the son of her 6yearold son of her boyfriend days before all this happen. He took a deadly fall. He ultimately died several days after she did. How is that affecting her at the time . Im sure this has played a part in the investigation. It played a very big part. With the sheriff said as she did this because of remorse over what happened, but the testimony and the doctors that were treating max of the time had testimonies of maxs family in particular show that at the time rebecca was killed, max was doing better. They still had hope for him. The test had not come back showing that he was going to take a turn for the worse until the day after rebecca was killed. So the family believe that rebecca had actually saved max by being there and giving him cpr when he fell and they were helpful he would still pull through this. It was not a basis for suicide when everyone is hopeful that max is still going to recover for the most part from this terrible fall. Sandra a couple of things as we go through this story. We reached out to the sheriffs who provided no comment to us know when we were going to do this story today at this time. We also reached out to the boyfriend adam, we have not heard back. Was he the last person to see her alive . He was a last person to see her alive that evening. He stayed at the mansion and the guest house that night and hes the one that reported the body in the morning. Sandra okay. To be clear, the home belonged to whom . The boyfriend with her boyfriends brother . Probably close to billionaire pharmaceutical tycoon on the mansion, their summer house in coronado. Adam had come in because of maxs fall to give support to the brother dealing with maxs trauma. Sandra the sister is also speaking out publicly asking anybody to call the Sheriffs Office if they have any information, the family offering a 100,000 reward that leads to a arrest. She left plenty of clues and plenty of evidence that were ignored. I refuse to stand down, said her sister. What evidence does she have that leads her to believe that she fought . They were blows to the back of her head, very renowned forensic pathologist said that she had blows to the back of her head sufficient to render him unconscious, her legs were bruised where the findings were tied so tight because she was struggling. The real evidence here is that there is no evidence with regards to dna and fingerprints. Every place you would expect to find fingerprints and dna, on the doorknobs in the room, the knives that were in the room, the paintbrushes used to paint that phrase on the door, all wiped clean of everybodys dna and everybodys fingerprints. The most shocking evidence with a determination that she was sexually assaulted that night, that knife that was left in the room had blood on the handle.
