A lot of those children that you were just talking about as well are used and then sent back and then they come back in. Well, julie, there is certainly we expect to be a greater portion than what weve been able to unearth. Again look, the system is overwhelmed and by virtue of the overwhelming situation we find ourselves in we have 40 of our front line agents performing the humanitarian mission. And when you look back in 2018 although candidates like alexandria ocasiocortez got most of the attention, in fact the ones who put democrats back in charge of the house were much more moderate candidates in districts that obama had won in 2012 but trump won in 2016 and were more moderate candidates. A lot of women with military or intelligence experience, who were running against candidates who were elected in 2016, republicans, were thrown out. The republicans were and democrats moderate democrats came back in. It doesnt get as much publicity or maybe as much attention on twitter but in fact i think if you were to ask nancy pelosi who restored her to the speakership she would say it was more moderate Democratic Candidates who won and you can see there are still that desire not for the far left positions of some of these candidates like Bernie Sanders, but for a more mainstream democratic view. I think were missing one of the major points at least for the farmers in my district is that they have already lost their markets in china for everything from wine, almonds and beyond. The earlier round of tariffs by the United States didnt necessarily result in a tariff on American Goods but it resulted in the shutdown of American Products being able to be shipped into china. There is a world of hurt. The Almond Growers in california have lost well over a billion and a half dollars in their markets as a result of this trade war. Bill let me get you to respond to two more things. Wall street journal is the headline. Seizing north korea where it hurts. The u. S. Enforces international sanctions, quote, no one wants a return to the 2017 days of name calling and long range north Korean Missile tests but maintaining the sanctions pressure on the north is essential to persuading mr. Kim he cannot roll the u. S. With false nuclear promises one more time. I dont believe this administration has shown signs of weakness when it comes to the sanctions. What is your feeling on that . I think thats correct. I think that there is evidence, the seizing of north korean ships by the United States is but one example. Other things that have gone on to try to stop the illicit importation, in other words, breaking the sanctions by north korea and other players. Thats all good. The United States is standing strong on that and we need to continue to do that. Bill how do you think chairman kim reacts when you have this freighter that is seized at sea with coal on board that was bound to be burned for energy in north korea . Launching a few missiles. Other kinds of activities to indicate his military remains a threat to south korea and the United States and with the intercontinental missiles that are still quiet. We know theyre there.
