Incident in afghanistan and once again isis there is claiming responsibility. A Shiite Muslim Cultural Center was the target this time of the afghanistan isis spinoff. The suicide bomber walked into the center of a gathering leaving a scene of death and destructions. Other explosions outside. 41 killed, at least 84 wounded. Shiite targets there. Isis in afghanistan started in 2015. It has been growing in strength as it has been fading in other parts of the world. Between isis and taliban afghanistan still a very dangerous place, rick. Rick what has been the u. S. Response . Strong response. We heard from the u. S. Embassy in kabul where the incident took place. They called the attack horrific pledging continued support from the u. S. While the u. S. Is supposed to be playing a backup and training role we have to remember the Trump Administration is doubling down on this 16year long war bringing troop levels back up to 14,000. Recently we learned that special forces were involved in Something Like 2500 operations in just six months and the air force is staging its heaviest air strikes since the height of that war. One final note, rick, a little bit ironic, the gathering targeted by isis today was marking the anniversary in 1979 of soviet troops coming into afghanistan. Another reminder of the difficulties Foreign Forces say when they try to tame that country. Rick no doubt. Greg, thank you. Julie President Trump continuing his holiday vacation at his maralago estate in florida. He met with First Responders yesterday and touted accomplishments from thinks first year in office. Rich edson is traveling with the president in florida this morning. Good morning. The president going to West Palm Beach fire and rescue met with First Responders there talked about his first year in office. It was his first public appearance since Christmas Eve. He also highlighted a couple of provisions. One of them being now that he has reversed an obamaera order that prohibited Police Departments from purchasing surplus military gear. He detailed the tax reform law he signed. He said it will boost economic growth. President trump the tax cut bill is really something the way its kicking in. Little did we know when the big companies, at t, comcast and wells fargo are giving thousands of dollars to their employees and nobody saw that happening right away. That happened early. Now whats happening is many other companies are following suit. So the country has a beautiful shift. Were turning it around. Democrats have criticized the law claiming it will add a trillion dollars to the National Debt and largely benefit the wealthy and corporations. The president talked about one that reverses an obamacare order that requires every american to have Health Insurance and a provision that allows drilling in the National Wildlife reserve in alaska. Julie new tension with russia. Tell us about that. Particularly over ukraine. Fighting is intensifying in the eastern part of that country with russianbacked separatists there. Tillerson spoke with his russian counterpart earlier this week and wrote in the New York Times absent a peaceful resolution of the ukraine situation, which must begin with russias adherence to the minsk agreements there cannot be business as usual with russia. Russia criticized the United States and said it must calm its situation with north korea. Julie thank you very much, rich. Rick roy moore is now formally appealing his Senate Election defeat to doug jones. He is now going to court to try to stop the state from certifying jones as the winner claiming possible voter fraud and demanding an investigation. Moore saying in a statement this is not a republican or democrat issue as Election Integrity should matter to everyone. We call on secretary of state merrill to delay certification until there is a thorough investigation of what three independent election experts agree took place. Election fraud sufficient to overturn the outcome of the election. Liz harington is a staff writer at the Washington Free beacon. Roy moore will not go away. No, he wont. His lastditch effort the only card he has left to play. He lost by over 21,000 votes, 1. 5 percentage points. Not nearly close enough to trigger an automatic recount which he would have needed to come in about a 1 2 . He need to pay a Million Dollars to have a recount himself and only raised 70,000. This is the only attempt he has. Secretary of state john merrill, who is a republican who supported roy moore in his election has said there is no evidence of voter fraud and he will certify the Election Results today at 1 00 p. M. Rick Roy Moore Says there are Election Integrity experts who say there is a reasonable degree of mathematical certainty of Election Fraud and irregularities in 23 precincts could reverse the results. He found three experts for this lawsuit that said that there was one in a billion chance that the likelihood that jones would have won, which doesnt really stand the test of credibility here because look, this is a guy, roy moore, when he ran in 2012 before these allegations came out against him only beat a democrat by four points in a very red state. He has already had problems as a candidate. These allegations came out to allow a democrat to win for the first time in 25 years in the senate. Its plain to see why he lost. It is just roy moore is not willing to accept that. Rick as you pointed out 21,000 votes is a lot to overcome and that would be a lot of fraud. Right. This is a very red state, john merrill is a republican who supported roy moore. He has looked at this and said there is no irregularity. There were more democrats that came out for jones after roy moore was a very weak candidate with very credible allegations that came out against him. Rick perhaps the even bigger headline from this is his election complaint includes an affidavit from moore saying that he underwent a polygraph and confirmed that the allegations with Sexual Misconduct with underage girls is false. That was in his filing last night. Interesting he didnt give it earlier. Only now a month after the election that he lost that he was expected to win. He should have come out with this before but now its his own guys, his own lawsuit. He got this polygraph done. Everyone can decide for themselves if they want to believe the credibility of this polygraph. He is going to include that because he is trying everything he can to get this reversd. Again, even if a judge ruled that the election, there was enough fraud to redo the special election, i dont think anyone believes that roy moore would win. He was a very weak candidate. He only beat a democrat by four points when he ran previously in 2012. He was a very weak candidate and all these allegations against him hurt him more and i think he would lose by more if the election was reheld. Rick perhaps it was the real reason for the filing. A lastditch effort to preserve his credibility and reputation. Thats the only thing he has left at this point. Secretary of state john merrill will certify the results for jones so this is really his only attempt to clear his name and maybe possibly try to have a new election. Nobody believes that will happen. Rick President Trump said that moore should concede after his loss. He didnt do that then and he is not doing it now. I think trump and the rest of the republicans would rather roy moore just go away. But i think after this the result as certified today he will go away and there wont be much heard about roy moore. Rick well see. Thanks for your time. Julie a brutal blast of arctic air marking the end of 2017. A long list of cities will be seeing days of windchills well below zero. A live report moments from now. Rick lights out at the happiest place on earth. A power outage leaving thousands of people stranded on rides at disneyland. More on what sparked all of this. Plus. What are we going to do in 2018 well get back at reforming healthcare and welfare reform. Julie we have tax reform in the rearview mirror. Republicans are gearing up for a busy 2018. What will top their legislative agenda now . Marsha blackburn will join us live next. Your brain changes as you get older. But prevagen helps your brain with an ingredient originally discovered. In jellyfish. In clinical trials, prevagen has been shown to improve shortterm memory. Prevagen. The name to remember. Rick the power is back on at the happiest place on earth. Disneyland losing electricity yesterday morning because of a transformer problem affecting two major areas of the park. Toon town and fantasy land. A dozen rides went dark and park officials had to evacuate guests off stalled attractions including the mono rail. We were at a small world. All the lights go off and we were waiting about 20 minutes. A real unfortunate part is thats the most little kid centric two areas of the park and a lot of kids who are real upset. Rick im sure. No one was hurt. Plenty were inconvenienced. It took a few hours for the juice to come back on. The house passed the biggest entitlement reform bill ever passed by a congress in may, our healthcare bill. Unfortunately the senate fell a vote short from doing that. What will we do in 2018 . Pick up where we left off and get back at reforming healthcare and get back at reforming entitlements and take on welfare reform. Another big entitlement program. Julie speaker ryan promising entitlement reform in the new year. It might be easier said than done as it looks to run into stiff obstacles from members of his own party in the senate like majority leader Mitch Mcconnell. Joining me now is congresswoman marsha blackburn. Great to see you again two days in a row. What a treat. Why is paul ryan so adamant about this . This is where so much of the increase in federal spending is because basically its on autopilot. So absolutely members of the house want to address the healthcare issues, medicaid and, of course, i think there is a lot of support for sending medicaid back to the states. In tennessee when i talked to our state elected officials, they say send it to us. Well do a better job. And then also as speaker ryan mentioned the welfare benefit. Looking at these programs, looking at the verification process for entering into these programs, and working on how you go about with these benefits being given out. And i think that giving more of this responsibility to the states, to social workers that are in the counties that know how to verify, know families, know who is truly in need, this is how we are going to get a handle on making certain that the programs and the benefits are going to the people who qualify and who need these benefits. Julie here is the problem. A bit of a hiccup. As we know it will be an election year. Republicans need to come across as united considering the fact that tax reform was a tricky one but they successfully passed it. Ride on that wave rather than remind themselves of how they were unsuccessful in passing healthcare. So ride that positive wave. For entitlement reform to be a success you need bipartisan agreement. Here is Mitch Mcconnell saying he is not going to take it up in the senate. It begs the question is it worth the fight . Lets listen to that. I think the democrats are not going to be interested in entitlement reform so i would not expect to see it on the agenda and what the democrats are willing to do is important because in the senate, with rare exceptions like the tax bill, we have to have democratic involvement. Julie could you get democratic involvement in this . No. I think we can get democratic involvement in some of this, absolutely. Because what are the American People interested in . Same thing people in tennessee are interested. Truth, fairness, stability, consistency in these programs. And making certain that Healthcare Benefits are going to people that need them via the medicaid program. This is something that they want to see done properly. And the states are going to do a better job of those services delivering those services than having it done by a bureaucrat in washington, d. C. So i think there is a little bit of wiggle room there. And yes, we can make some progress. And also one of the things that we hear from the American People every single day, fight waste, fraud and abuse in government. Because hard working taxpayers are sending their dollars to washington and state capitals and city halls and what do they want . They want the money to be spent where it is supposed to be spent and not wasted. Julie paul ryan wants to reshape medicaid and welfare programs. He doesnt have his own party to back him up for the most part. Is it a battle worth fighting with house and Senate Republicans . And is this a battle that democrats are going to want to revisit . When it came to healthcare, clearly democrats didnt want healthcare to be touched. How do you get democrats to agree to reshape medicare and medicaid . You work on things. One item at a time. And you fix issues and problems one at a time. The house has done a good job of that. Weve passed well over 400 bills. The senate has taken up about 100 of those bills and i think 70 have made it to the president s desk. To our good friends in the senate, just pick up the pace, work with us on this, and lets drill down on these issues. Now is not the time to tweak around the edges. Now is the time to make certain that we are focused on fairness for taxpayers, we are focused on fairness in delivery of these benefits in these programs to make certain that those who truly need the benefits are going to get the benefits. And i think its the compassionate thing for us to do and it will be a heavy lift. I think were up to it. Julie all right, congresswoman marsha blackburn, thank you very much. Good to see you, rick. Rick the number of immigrants entering the u. S. Rising to an alltime high in 2016. What is fueling the rise and possible Immigration Reform . Julie express checkout. A woman goes into labor inside a market. Cashier told me there is a lady here that is feeling bad. They want she wants us to call the 911. She is like i think im having my baby. Go pro with crest prohealth. 4 out of 5 dentists confirm these crest prohealth products. Help maintain a professional clean. And its the only toothpaste with the ada seal of acceptance for protection against acid erosion. Julie one baby just couldnt wait for the hospital. Dont you hate when that happens . As a woman gives birthright in the middle of a grocery store. Big oeft nightmare. Surveillance cameras caught the woman stumbling to the ground in fresno, california. Volunteers helped the woman delivered the baby before paramedics arrived. She said oh my gosh, she is having the baby. Then i run and then i see the baby coming out. I tell the cook oh my god, bring me the scissors. Because the first thing i thought i had to cut the cord. She was asking what did i have . We said a boy. Julie mom and her baby boy were taken to the hospital. Both are doing well. The store is accepting donations to help the family. Could you imagine . Would that be the first thing that comes to mind . Where are the scissors if you saw a woman giving birth on the floor . Rick i was board in a hardware section of a store. My mom was shopping for sleds. Thats what my brother told me. Julie i almost gave birth in columbus circle. Baby three comes much faster. Rick you missed a golden opportunity. Julie we had to drive the wrong way in traffic to get to the hospital. I barely made it. Rick you barely noticed winter is beginning with a deep freeze. Record breaking cold in much of the u. S. Areas along the great lakes are dealing with major snowfall. Several feet in some spots. Temperatures from chicago to boston are well below normal. Were live in chicago. Im glad to see youre still okay, mike. If i was a block of icy would have company. 30 Million People across the u. S. Right now are enduring a windchill advisory. The bad news is it wont warm up before the new year. You can be glad you dont live in minnesota. International falls, minnesota, ice box of the nation, set a record at 37 below. Hibbing, minnesota set a record that stood since 1964. It was 27 below. It is now 32 below. Sadly there is tragedy out of hibbing, minnesota. A fire started in the home of a retired fire captain that was a day after christmas when the fire started. Sadly, another child who was caught in that fire passed away. A total of four people who died in the home of that retired captain. Grandchildren were visiting, one grandchild survived that fire. Oftentimes in weather like this it is the effort to stay warm that causes the tragedy. Space heaters are often the culprit. Not necessarily a space heater itself. They draw a tremendous amount of electricity. Its the extension cord will become a source of heat. People sometimes will supplies cords together. The splice can become an ignition source if you put a rug over the top of it. Be careful if youre using space heaters in this weather. One group of people enjoying the weather are the people in the record business. A towing service out of iowa says their calls are up 300 , aaa out of chicago say calls are up 192 . A lot of batteries going dead and people dont want to change tires in this weather. Rick it can be painful standing outside for a period of time. A concern about frostbite for people in these conditions. The interesting thing about frostbite it doesnt hurt at first. You dont feel it as its setting in. To give you an idea now nasty it is. The doctors treat it are the people in the burn unit. The homeless are at risk and shelters are staying open in a lot of these places that are socked in by the cold. The other group of people that end up with frostbite cases are the people who dont take it seriously. The doctors say oftentimes people they treat went out for an errand. Didnt take cold weather gear and the car breaks down and are you in a life threatening situation. Always take the cold weather gear with you when you are out in the cold weather. The key about frostbite as it sets in you dont know it. The part that gets frostbitten has long been numb by the time it starts to freeze up. Rick mike, go inside. Good job. Got it. Rick thanks, pal. Julie isis may be losing its grip in syria and iraq but the attack in kabul today shows it is hardly out of business. Rick plus the white house reportedly mulling acting alone to write new rules on healthcare but the president is talking about working with democrats. Can he do both . A closer look straight ahead. President trump we have essentially repealed obamacare and well come up with something that will be much better. Whether its block grants or whether its taking what we have and doing something terrific. Liberty mutual saved us almost eight hundred dollars when we switched our auto and home insurance. With liberty, we could afford a real babysitter instead of your brother. Hey. Oh. Thats my robe. Is it . You could save seven hundred eighty two dollars when liberty stands with you. Liberty mutual insurance. Julie the Trump Administration is considering rewriting some healthcare rules that would basically make it easier to buy plans without all of the obamacare mandates. But last week the president was suggesting working with democrats on a bipartisan issue. Blake berman of the Fox Business Network is live at the white house. What is the administration looking to do here . You have a re writing of the rules that the Trump Administration is looking into. It will lower costs with healthcare plans because the obamacare mandates that are wrapped up into the Affordable Care act law wont be associated with those plans. This is expected to take shape next month here at the white house by an executive order. Cutting into and around the edges of obamacare is the new course of action for republicans after they failed earlier this year to repeal and replace the healthcare law. And the president continues to tout the recent repeal of the individual mandate that is in the tax bill. President trump the repeal of the individual mandate, thats where you have the privilege of paying a lot of money so you dont have to buy Health Insurance. The most unpopular thing. We repealed that. You might remember the cheaper plans without the mandates was a Sticking Point with conservatives earlier this year when they were going through the healthcare negotiations. They contend it allows for more tailored plans that bring down the price as well. Critics, democrats in this case, saying the costs will be made up elsewhere and they say that this will leave a huge hole in some of those plans, julie. Julie what about talks of a healthcare compromise . Republicans tried to go at it alone earlier this year by repealing and replacing obamacare but the president sent out a tweet earlier this week in which he suggested potentially working with democrats going forward. He said in that tweet, and i quote here, based on the fact that the very unfair and unpopular individual mandate has been terminated as part of our tax cut bill which repeals over time obamacare, the democrats and republicans will eventually come together and develop a great new healthcare plan. Now, the white house has also said in 2018 theyll look to shore up the healthcare markets but as you know, julie, 2018 is an election year. That could be a very tough pill for many conservatives to swallow considering they ran on repealing and replacing obamacare and not shoring it up and stabilizing it. Julie thank you very much, blake. Rick dozens are dead in the Afghan Capital of kabul after suicide bombers attack a Cultural Center. Isis claiming responsibility showing the terror group still poses a threat despite its losses in iraq and syria. Retired Lieutenant Colonel scottman is a form he green beret and president of rooftop leadership. Coalition forces we know killed tens of thousands of isis fighters but clearly you cant kill them all. Absolutely. Longest war in our nations history and hats off to the work that has been done against isis in syria and iraq. Understand this is a threat that follows a doomsday prophesy. They believe in it strongly. Just taking landmass away from them will not defeat them. They will withdraw, displace to other countries like afghanistan and set up shop there. Rick not just afghanistan. They have safe haven elsewhere as well, right . Do we know where they are and how they are able to continue to recruit . Absolutely. They are operating in the southern philippines, in libya. They have a presence in the west, in the United States. 25 to 30 of the foreign fighters from europe have returned home. So they are able to displace in a range of places. The other thing we need to remember is these guys have taken a major blow in 2017 and they will be very eager to reassert themselves and show their relevance on the global stage in 2018. I think that means them hitting us at home even more so than weve seen in the past. Rick thats frightening. It is. And understand that isis, if al qaeda practices terrorism isis practices horrorism. They like to hit us where we live, work and play. Thats what im thinking about as we go into the new year. What does it mean to you, your family, my friends and family on main street, not necessarily wall street. Because thats where these guys like to target and show their relevance. Rick weve seen them very active online with a virtual caliphate. Thats a presence that really cant apparently be wiped clean. Absolutely. Look at omar matin. The second worst mass shooting at the pulse nightclub. He was radicalized, trained, employed online and they did Facebook Messages from the nightclub during the shooting. That capability exists. I would remind every american right now to keep your head on a swivel during new years and understand that these guys are going to come at us with all four feet if for no other reason than to reassert their global relevance and theyll do it to hit us where we live, work and play. Rick can we expect a change in tactics . I think what well continue to see is we have to stop calling these lone wolf attacks. This is a very coherent strategy. Centralized vision and ideology and execution. Guidance and inspiration coming from online and then people execute mass killings, attack schools, rock concerts. Thats the new distributed form of terror and we have to stop calling it lone wolf attacks and give it the credit it deserves. A whole new implication for us at citizens, local Law Enforcement and politicians. This is where these guys operate. Rick some of them survived the battlefield and managed to make it back to their home countries. Absolutely. Rick can we expect that those guys are bound to kill again or is there even a chance at reforming them . I would say we should expect to see those guys again. After the Afghan Campaign against the soviets the core group of al qaeda came from the foreign fighters who returned home. Weve already seen this from previous wars in afghanistan where foreign fighters who go away, inspired to fight, come back home, set up shop and they wage war and foment instability in their homeland. A lot of the attacks in europe, rick, have been caused by returning foreign fighters and the bulk of the bloodshed has been caused by them. We better Pay Attention to the returning foreign fighters. Even just a handful. It only takes a few for a major attack to occur. Rick scottman, happy new year with a major asterisk over your shoulder. Julie President Trumps call. A new report shows number of immigrants arriving in the u. S. Last year hitting a record high. William is live in our Los Angeles Bureau. Whats the impact of this new report . The findings will be part of upcoming debate in congress over daca and Immigration Reform. The numbers include legal and illegal immigration based on the u. S. Census. It shows 1. 8 million new immigrants settling in the u. S. In 2016. Highest level in u. S. History. 53 higher than just five years ago when the recession hit and many went home because they couldnt find a job. Now this is for 2016. The last year of the obama administration. When there was virtually no interior enforcement or work site enforcement. The border saw the surge of Central American women, children and families. It was driven by more guest workers and more foreign students and a change that allowed the spouses of visa holders to work that encouraged more relatives to join green card holder here in the u. S. Julie and so where are these immigrants coming from . Will the numbers shape the political debate . Thats the question. Sure. The high levels of immigration create winners and losers. Winners include owners of businesses who get more cheap labor. Losers could include taxpayers and American Workers when competition drives down wages. Now, compare who is coming . 2005 to 2015 mexican immigration was cut in half, 400 to under 200,000. Central americans up by 100 thousand. Asian immigration almost double. African and middle eastern immigration double. From europe, flat. Some argue that immigration system here needs an overhaul. We should probably shift our focus more in favor of a meritbased system to ensure the individuals who come to the United States, who are brought to this country, have the skills and abilities that they need to succeed in this country. So the center for Immigration Studies such as the dc thinktank hopes the study will spur debate. Julie thank you very much. Rick more claims of bias against special Counsel Robert Mueller. Mueller, i have said since day one since he was appointed, he is bad news. He is out for a scalp. He would love to get trumps scalp. Rick is there enough evidence to back that up . Our panel will debate it. Plus this. Julie Police Officers rush to pull two teenagers from a burning car. This amazing story is next. Somebody else in the car. A just got rescheduled for today. Julie tough talk about robert mueller. Republican congressman matt gaetz calling for him to be fired. Listen to this. The swamp of washington, d. C. , the biggest alligator is a politicized f. B. I. And department of justice and why were fighting hard to make sure that weve got a fair and equal opportunity for all sides to be heard. It is outrageous to see the biased Mueller Probe continue. If mueller were any more biased wed have to give him credentials for the mainstream media. Julie doug schoen and kris wilson. Ive heard it all. We heard about the purge. Weve heard about political bias. Chris, when appointed we all knew mueller was a friend of james comey. It did raise conflict of interest questions. Now it has taken a whole new turn. Do you think that he himself has demonstrated political bias . Well, i dont know that i would say he himself has. No question there is bias that has been discovered amongst people that work for him. Just on the contribution side amongst people who work for him 12 to 1 they gave to Hillary Clinton over donald trump. It is difficult for them to be able to claim a lack of impartiality at this point because so much has come out. Having said that i disagree with the congressman. This is probably the best thing that could have happened for donald trump in this situation because mueller has to go above and beyond now to appear impartial and that probably puts trump in a better position, the president in a better position than he would have been otherwise. Julie does it put the president in a better position by people calling out mueller for being poiltically biased and calling for him to be fired by the president. I think the facts will take it where it goes. One of the Big Questions we have is what are we going to hear from general flynn who has pled guilty and the Trump Administration has turned around and said may well be lying about everything. We need to hear what he has to say. We need to hear what mr. Papadopoulos has to say and what the facts are. There are troubling questions, i cant deny that about the Justice Department and f. B. I. I have more concerns about the f. B. I. Than the Justice Department. Appearances are less than ideal. We have to let it run its course and we need to see where the evidence takes us rather than worrying about politics. Julie let it run its course sounds like a virus. , no it isnt. Its Law Enforcement, its justice, it is not a virus. Its the american way. Julie unfortunately, chris, never before has the f. B. I. That i can recall been more politicized. Unfortunately since james comeys firing and Robert Muellers appointment to investigate it became a huge issue. There has been proof of political bias within the f. B. I. But you say not necessarily from mueller himself. So then is it enough for him to recuse himself or do people just let this play out as doug pointed out . I think neither one. Im not sure he needs to recuse himself. It is important, though, that he is able to illustrate that he has taken steps to make sure that bias is rooted out. If he doesnt do that then any results of the investigation will be dismissed out of hand. The other congressman from florida who last night said that this has gone above and beyond in terms of the kind of bias were seeing. Rooney is a serious person and not just throwing out talking points. He has looked at this and is concerned about what he sees coming out of the f. B. I. And the Justice Department and investigation in general. If mueller doesnt take steps to illustrate that he is rooting that out from any results of the investigation, then it will be a problem. Julie doug, this week weve heard calls for a purge of the f. B. I. With congressman matt gaetz going as far as to say the purge is already happening with deputy f. B. I. Director Andrew Mccabe announcing his retirement. Are these just staffing changes or are we seeing an actual purge here . I dont think we need purges anywhere in america. Thats also not the american way. But if mr. Mccabe retires, i think thats probably a good thing. If agent strzok is investigated fully for his texts to agent page or to lawyer page so much the better. Like every other rational american im troubled about political bias in the f. B. I. And i support efforts to clean that up. But im not for purges or shutting things down. Im for letting the Inspector General finish his report, which should be out in late february or early march. Julie looking forward to that report. Yes. Absolutely. Rick the Trump Legal Team getting ready for a fight. Julie tourism in napa on the decline after historic wildfires. The officers say it is just part of their job. To help save someone. There is no better feeling. I think that officers just like us at every Milwaukee Police district station and across the country would do the same thing because thats why we joined and thats why were cops. Julie and why theyre heroes. The teens were taken to a hospital as a precaution. The driver is cited for failure to yield and reckless driving. Rick California Wine country has been on the mend since massive wildfires wreaked havoc in october. The real struggle has been assuring tourists theyre open for business. Adam housley is live in napa valley to do just that. We started to look into the story when we had people we met with on other stories saying they wouldnt go to wine country because they heard it burned down. After all the fires that burned here seven all totaled in Northern California burned starting back october 8th. Theyre the most destructive in state history burning down nearly 9,000 structures, killing 42 people. The damage here extensive. Many people still without homes but as that happened back in october, the rebuilding process has continued and the worry here is that if people think that wine country has been burned or hurt they wont come back and it will cost jobs. Thats maybe a second destructive process here in wine country where jobs will go away. People trying to rebuild their lives wont have that opportunity. Take a listen. Most people are very surprised. The president of afghanistan calling this deadly bombing a crime against humanity. Welcome and good morning to you to a brandnew hour of americas newsroom. Im julie banderas. Rick im rick leventhal. Bill and sandra are off today. Many students attending a conference. Isis claiming responsibility. The attacks from isis appear to be increasing in afghanistan, lucas . Its the second Suicide Attack in afghanistans capital since christmas day. Now today 84 people were wounded in addition to the 40 killed in the attack by multiple suicide bombers. President trump recently sent an additional 3,000 u. S. Troops to afghanistan bringing the total number to 14,000. Some of these troops were moved closer to the front lines to call in air strikes. As the air war against isis in iraq and syria winds down more jets have been sent to bomb the taliban and isis in afghanistan. Most of the air strikes this year have targeted isis in the eastern part of afghanistan. This year the number of bombs dropped is three times greater than last years total. The highest number in five years. Vice president mike pence made a surprise visit to afghanistan last week where he said the u. S. Military was there to stay. His visit a secret because of the high security ricks. When general mattis visited in afghanistan in september he was greeted with a rocket attack at the airport but he had left a few hours before and his plane not damaged. There are 1,000 isis fighters in afghanistan located southeast of kabul along the border with pakistan. This has been the same estimate for the past year despite the air strikes and u. S. Backed commando raids against the group. Theyre former pakistani taliban. The u. S. Envoy spoke about the terror groups broad appeal. Isis became a brand and a lot of terrorist groups in the sinai started to raise the flag of isis to recruit foreign fighters and other things. U. S. Military dropped the mother of all bombs in isis in april. The largest bomb in the militarys arsenal. Isis is having no problem replenishing its ranks in afghanistan. Rick more on the ongoing threats later this hour. President trump spending part of his holiday vacation meeting with First Responders near his maralago estate. He visited with four dozen members of the palm beach and West Palm Beach fire and rescue. Washington correspondent rich edson joins us again. The president is talking about the tax law again. He is, rick. He has been touting his first year accomplishments over twitter and now doing it in front of some First Responders at the event yesterday that he held there. The tax law also has a couple of other provisions in it that the president was highlighting as well including the repeal of the obamacare individual mandate thats the provision that requires nearly every american to have Health Insurance. President trump the most unpopular thing. We repealed it and we got anwar, one of the great oil reserves in the world. After that substantial tax cut the main provision in the portion of that bill the president says it will ignite the u. S. Economy, meanwhile democrats have criticized it saying its a trillion dollar giveaway, impact the National Debt substantially and mostly helps the wealthy and corporations, rick. Rick rich, what is the update on u. S. And turkey in an ongoing argument there . The u. S. turkey relationship has been deteriorating significantly over the last couple of years. Back in october turkish authorities arrested an employee of a u. S. Consulate in turkey. The u. S. Responded by suspending Visa Services for most turkish citizens and then turkey did the same thing. In a statement we continue to have serious concerns about the existing allegations against arrested local employees of our mission in turkey. We are also concerned about the cases against u. S. Citizens who have been arrested under the state of emergency. U. S. Officials will continue to engage with their turkish counterparts to seek a satisfactory resolution to these cases. Visa services have resumed, turkish government has arrested tens of thousands in connection with what they say theyve been involved in a coup attempt that happened last summer. Rick thanks very much. Rich. Julie President Trumps legal team is frepg preparing to go on the offensive again ready to attack the credibility of Michael Flynn. Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the f. B. I. And is thought to be cooperating with the investigation. Were now joined by John MccormackSenior Writer for the weekly standard. He has to be cooperating with the investigation because of a plea deal. He wont get a plea deal unless he is receiving massive amounts of information. What information is 24r . We dont know that yet. The Trump Legal Team is willing to sort of go after flynn both by dangling a carrot in front of him and presenting a stick to threaten him. The carrot is the possibility is he could be pardoned. The character attack would be the stick. That presents some problems for President Trump himself. He named him to be National Security advisor. Calls into question his judgment but the Trump Legal Team is willing to take different routes to get flynn to behave as they hope he does. Julie trumps legal team has no other they need to point out his lies. He admitted he lied regardless of the plea deal. The goal is to distance President Trump from flynn as much as they can, right . Yeah. And the credibility, the effectiveness of this attack on flynn, should they use this attack on him will depend on what information he has. If it is his word against the word of another Trump Administration official against the word of President Trump himself the fact that he has pled guilty to lying is an effective argument. If he has information that can be corroborated by other witnesses and documents, it doesnt matter the fact that it came from someone who pleaded guilty of lying. Julie we dont know whats in his plea deal. Trumps lawyers need to be braced for the worst. What happens if Michael Flynn comes out and accuses the president or any of his senior aides of any wrongdoing . It depends on what actually one thing we would want to know thats relevant to the president himself is whether or not flynn says that the president knew that flynn had lied to the f. B. I. Because thats been a big point of contention between f. B. I. Director comey. Julie very hard to prove that. Is there anyone else he told or any documentation . Those are things well wait to see. The day after flynn was fired, former f. B. I. Director comey said he was pressured to drop the investigation and President Trump asked him to drop it knowing that flynn had lied or merely he suspected that something had happened . Julie President Trump has had a Good Relationship with Michael Flynn. He was once sympathetic to him and called him a wonderful man. But the problem here President Trump being kind to his staff members, could that bite him . Could flynns lawyers maybe use that against trumps team . Yeah, they can say that listen, in response lets say listen, he made one mistake, he said something untrue, but the president himself trusted him enough to be trusted with the most important National Security secrets that america has. That would be his defense in response to his character attack. Julie earlier this month the president didnt rule out a possibility of pardoning flynn. Is that still a possibility . I think so. And youve had Michael Flynns brother tweet at the president and asking for a pardon to happen. There is a possibility of the carrot and the stick being used to cajole flynn. Julie how confident going into this that President Trumps attorneys are that flynn doesnt have any evidence whatsoever that could implicate the president or his White House Team . I really have no idea. But i think the fact theyre floating this argument, floating this potential character attack means at the very least theyre concerned that he has something that he there has been a lot of speculation that because this plea deal was so light that his son was not charged with anything that he is willing to go forward and testify and provide perhaps documentation. But again that will be one of the Big Questions of 2018 is to see what Michael Flynn says, what he has, what he knows. Julie first of all, what he says, what he knows. The question is does he know anything . Flynns agreement with mueller had to promise some kind of significant information but if mueller opted not to charge him and if his crimes were so bad, wouldnt he have charged him of a conspiracy or perhaps there is no crime here and there is no there there . Thats an important point. It will be very difficult if this goes into the level of some sort of criminal conspiracy for them not to have charged flynn over this. People as some of trumps legal team say in the Washington Post today. How big of a conspiracy was it exactly if flynn himself was not charged . Julie former president Barack Obamas team. We need to remind and something that President Trumps attorneys can use regarding lack of credibility and the fact this guy is a liar, obamas team actually warned President Trump of flynn. So its not like this is any surprise. So you could look at his history, at his track record and even perhaps bring past Administration Officials into the fold, could they not . I think so. Again, depends whether it is his word against someone elses or something that can be more easily substantiated. This question isnt necessarily whether or not the president himself was involved in some sort of criminal collusion conspiracy. At this point he could be impeached over obstruction of justice. President clinton was impeached over obstruction of justice for illegal but immoral activity with lying over the lewinsky affair. Thats where this is heading in terms of the president s concern. Now maybe there will be other highlevel officials caught up in other crimes. In terms of whether or not the president himself is in hot water i think it will be mainly over Something Like obstruction of justice. Julie great to talk to you. Thank you so much. Rick. Rick the fight against isis entering a new phase. Is the terrorist group finding new safe havens in syria . Julie a new message from isis raising alarms for Homeland Security as a Million People are expected to gather in time square. Rick many House Democrats setting their sights on impeachment . Will that help or hurt the party in the 2018 midterm . Important that we not let the failure of the republicans to stop us from doing what is right. If we fail to file these articles of impeachment, we would be failing to do our job. Julie British MilitaryOfficials Say u. S. And Coalition Forces will not continue to go after isis soldiers retreating into parts of syria. Now this move comes as the military says fewer than 1,000 isis fighters remain down from about 45,000 two years ago. Those fighters are gathering in parts of syria controlled by bashar alassad. British Officials SaySyrian Forces are letting isis forces move with impunity or seem either unwilling or unable to stop them. Rick there is one isis fighter with an american accent now calling on muslims in the United States to take advantage of american gun laws in order to buy weapons and carry out attacks. Dave sears is a former u. S. Navy seal and cofounder of a company. Isis made a video with this guy. We wont show it or reveal its messages but its graphic and disturbing more so because the fighter calls for more attacks in an english accent. Sounds like a new york accent. Right. Absolutely. I dont think this is any giant surprise. We know that weve had people go over there and we know weve had some americans or americans sympathetic to isis. Rick how likely is it the feds know who this guy is . I would say with video and all the forensics that can be done by that pretty likely. Rick how important that they know who he is in terms of tracking him down . It is important wrapping up his network. Who is he associated with . Once you have his identity we can say who does he talk to and associate with, the towns, the cities, the people, the mosques that he sympathizes with the United States or talks to or communicates with. Its important for the network. Rick he is calling on americans to take advantage of gun laws and get guns and use them. You dont think this is just about guns, though, do you . No, i think that guns are simply a tool. I think that it actually distracts from the larger issue. The guns are the tool used, but explosives, pipe bombs, pressure bombs, vehicles, aircraft, seen boats. Any tools that they can get their hands on terrorists will use. That said, you need to get below the iceberg, below the tip of the iceberg into what are the causes. We need to understand why they are doing this, have an open, nonpolitically correct conversation at times about what is the true underlying root cause . Rick you arent suggesting we try to reason with these people, are you . Not at all. But you have to understand your enemy and you have to define the problem and frame it correctly in order to develop solutions to it. If you dont start off understanding and appreciating the problem, you cant fix it. Rick we know that Coalition Forces have wiped out most of isis in iraq and syria taking away some 98 of the territory that they once held. Is that effective in terms of wiping out isis itself . What are the concerns now . That is a good thing but not time to pop the champagne corks and celebrate victory in europe day or victory in the middle east day. It will proliferate. Weve gotten rid of the territorial physical caliphate. We know how to do that well when were able to fight large masses of people on an open battlefield. We do that very well. Now theyll disperse again and metastasize throughout the middle east, africa and Southeast Asia even more. We need to be aware that is going to happen. Like Wayne Gretzky said we need to get ahead of the puck not follow it around. Rick those losses on the battlefield, do they hurt isiss image and make it tougher for them to attract more people to join their ranks . I think that it does. It certainly does hurt them. Does it completely destroy that ability to do it . Thats where i get to the point of we need to appreciate the underlying ideology and what are the real impacts of that . We do a lot of mirror imaging and take our own beliefs and put them onto isis and treat them as a western nation state and how we are going to deal with them and how they make their decisions. Thats not always true. Thats why we have to get a true appreciation of why they are doing what they do in order to counter it. Rick theyve proven they can be very effective online and putting out videos and messages and on twitter and on other forms of communication and theyre drawing in a lot of lone wolves and disenfranchised people. You had talked about the lone wolf name. I agree with your guest. You have to get rid of that. These guys are inspired whether you call it a distributed network. The Online Presence is huge. We have to get towards that and start getting a attacking that itself. Where is that coming from . There is still a physical piece behind that somewhere. Rick yeah. That last guest warned 2018 could be bad. I wouldnt disagree. Rick thank you, dave sears for that sobering message. Julie getting ready for a Million People. The final security preparations as time square gets set to ring in a very cold, cold new year this year. The day after chemo might mean a trip back to the doctors office, just for a shot. But why go back there, when you can stay home, with Neulasta Onpro . Strong chemo can put you at risk of serious infection, which could lead to hospitalizations. In a key study, neulasta reduced the risk of infection from 17 to 1 , a 94 decrease. Applied the day of chemo, Neulasta Onpro is designed to deliver neulasta the next day, so you can stay home. Neulasta is for certain Cancer Patients receiving strong chemotherapy. Do not take neulasta if youre allergic to neulasta or Neupogen Filgrastim . Report abdominal or shoulder tip pain, trouble breathing or allergic reactions to your doctor right away. In patients with sickle cell disorders, serious, sometimes fatal crises can occur. The most common side effect is bone and muscle ache. So why go back there . If youd rather be home, ask your doctor about Neulasta Onpro. Rick the california Highway Patrol honoring a fallen officer. A sea of uniforms joining the family as the bell tolled for the officer. He died in the line of duty on Christmas Eve when his patrol vehicle was hit by a suspected impaired driver. They vowed the rookie officer wont be forgotten. He joins a selfless group of heroes who sacrificed their lives for the safety, service and security of others. We are forever grateful for his loyal and dedicated service. Rick the officer was 33 years old. He leaves behind a wife and three children. Julie where does the time go . 2017 is almost already behind us. A wild year for news, Shepard Smith has a run down of the years top stories. A new president took office while powerful men fell as women came forward to say me, too. Those stories and more dominating the headlines in 2017. The year started with a big change in washington the inauguration of president donald trump. President trump the people became the rulers of this nation again. The next day millions protested the new president at the womens marches across the country. The biggest single day of demonstrations in american history. The president also confronting north korea after the test firing of its first ballistic missile. The north also testing its most powerful Nuclear Weapon yet, a Hydrogen Bomb and launching a missile that Scientists Say can hit any point in the United States. In may President Trump fired james comey, the f. B. I. Director that led to the appointment of special Counsel Robert Mueller to run the investigation into russias election meddling and possible collusion with members of team trump. The investigation led to the indictment of the former Campaign ChairPaul Manafort and aide rick gates and the former National Security advisor Michael Flynn pled guilty to lying to the f. B. I. He is cooperating with the special counsel. Charlottesville, virginia became the scene of deadly demonstrations. A man plowed his car into people and killed a woman. Americans continue to recover from three devastating hurricanes that hit during the end of the summer. First harvey slammed into the u. S. As a category 4 storm causing catastrophic damage to houston and the texas coast. We are just beginning the process of respondsing to this storm. Next irma, it slammed florida and caribbean with rain and finally Hurricane Maria carving a path of destruction through puerto rico killing dozens of people and wiping out power to the entire island. On october 1, o. J. Simpson walked free from prison after a botched robbery in las vegas. Hours later in las vegas the most deadly mass shooting in american history. 58 people killed, more than 500 wounded when a gunman fired into a crowded Country Music festival on the las vegas strip. Still no word on his motive. Just a month later another deadly mass shooting. 25 people died, including a pregnant woman, during a sunday Church Service in sutherland springs, texas, the most deadly shooting in place of worship in american history. No attack or act of violence will attack our spirit or diminish the faith of the American People. Harvey weinstein lost his job and more after dozens of women accused him of harassment, assault and even rape. Democratic lawmakers john conyers and al franken announced resignations and roy moore and the Alabama Senate race. Women accused him of harassing and assaulting them years ago when they were teenagers. He lost the special election to doug jones. The house and Senate Passed separate tax bills calling for the largest overhaul of the american tax code in more than three decades. Looking ahead to 2018, the midterm elections coming up. The whole country waiting to see if voters will reject or reward President Trump. Were also keeping a close eye on tensions with north korea and the latest Sexual Misconduct accusations. Of course, well be here for all of it. In new york im Shepard Smith, fox news. Rick tough year for so many people. I think its appropriate it sends with a deep chill. Julie it really is a wild ride and tough year from hurricanes and wildfires and then politics. Sometimes you forget about politics and then Something Else happens in washington and doesnt let us forget. Rick keeps on happening. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson saying he is doing something at some point. He says he is proud of diplomatic efforts under President Trump in the face of grave threats around the world. Julie when i say bitter, i mean bitter. A bitter cold blanketing new york city. It is winter. As it gets ready to ring in the new year this weekend great timing, right . Security will be tight as more than a Million People are expected to watch the ball drop in time square. Brian is there as final preparations for the celebration are underway freezing his behind off and youll be freezing it off in a few days on new years eve, too. Rick leventhal decided to take a nice vacation this year finally for the new years eve night and ill be out there. Temperature is expected to be 11, a low here at midnight in time square on sunday night. The best way to prepare for that is to stay indoors. Hundreds of thousands of people will inevitably come out here. Time square new years eve organizers say they expect people to be out here six to eight hours looking at the ball drop. No bathroom, no way to get indoors. Remarkably this could be the second coldest new years eve in new york city ever. In 1962 it could tie to be the second. That was the temperature at 11 in 1962. And the coldest its ever been was 1 in 1917. Today is good riddance day. People in time square say good riddance to their worst memories of 2016. The last of 2600 crystal triangles was installed on the sixton ball hanging 400 feet over time square. The seven foot high 2018 numbers were installed last week and tomorrow theyll test out the confetti. All of this as really security is on everyones mind in new york city. This promises to be the most secure new years eve in time square ever especially after two terrorist attacks in as many months. We can expect the new York Police Department to outline all this this afternoon in a press conference. We expect them to say that there will be more parking garages closed than ever before. Increased scrutiny at rental car and truck locations in and around new york city to prevent a vehicle attack. Dogs to sniff out bombs on people and elsewhere and increased security in Office Towers and hotels overlooking time square. It is not just in new york city. Las vegas has the second biggest celebration in the nation. Americas party. They have tripled their security funding to 350,000 this year and also doubled the number of National Guard that will be in place for the celebration there. All of this following the worst mass shooting in u. S. History on october 1st there. Listen. This year along with those spotters they will be accompanied by snipers, individuals in possession of rifles to ensure safety if a threat is recognized. No specific credible threat on new years eve has been said nationwide. Ultimately we know isis sympathizers are out there and isis released a video urging their followers to attack drunk revelers. Stay safe and warm. I will be out here, though. Julie there will be no drunk revelers in time square. You cant drink and go to the bathroom. Its not going to happen. Good luck to you, brian. Rick democrats are split over whether to push for President Trumps impeachment. Nearly a third of the House Democratic caucus voted to begin debate on impeachment in october. Those who look back through the vista of time at this time will conclude that there was some people who refused to allow a president to continue to bring shame, to continue to dishonor the office. Its important that we not let the failure of the republicans to stop us from doing what is right. If we fail to file these articles of impeachment we would be failing to do our jobs. Rick now some prominent democrats are telling colleagues pump the brakes. Suggesting impeachment is not a winning message in the coming midterms. We need to make sure that were not that we are going in a very detailed, thorough way of getting all of the facts that we need before you ever start down that kind of path. I think that for everybody this election will be about the economy and i think the reality is democrats will have a message that will deliver. Rick charlie hurt is a Fox News Contributor and joins us in new york city. I understand the democrats dont like the president , dont agree with the president. But impeachment, really . Its a real problem. Midterms like this are often difficult for the party thats in the white house. But this can sort of cause the people that are out of power thinking that they will sweep in to get a little delusional about things because you cant beat something with nothing. If they go after there are two tracks here. One is this impeachment thing that far too Many Democrats are putting their eggs in that basket. But the other one is the economy. They are banking on the economy being bad and this is going to push them into power. What if the economy is good and what if the Mueller Investigation continues to go nowhere . It would be very smart for democrats to listen to smart democrats like this talking about this. To listen to her. She have is its she represents the people of michigan. She talks about the issues that democrats lost on in the president ial election and if Hillary Clinton had listened more to Debbie Dingle and democrats like that, we wouldnt be talking about President Trump. Rick she said the midterms will be about the economy. The democrats need a message. I dont think this is the message. You know who agrees with Debbie Dingle is donald trump and why he put the tax reform package. Who knows . Im not an economics expert. I dont know if the tax package works. It seems like it is a smart idea but if all of the things come to fruition that republicans who supported the tax package believe in, then they will be in very good shape next november. Rick were talking about this because six House Democrats introduced five new articles of impeachment against the president last month. We saw this in the first term of president bill clinton in the 90s where republicans became just so blinded with their rage, their hatred of bill clinton and they really lost sight of the fact that it really was even back then about the economy, stupid. And because of that, bill clinton was able to win reelection a second time without getting a majority of the vote. Rick the president has said that 2018 is all about infrastructure and he says that the democrats will work with him on this. Now, it strikes me that they have incentive not to if they want to show that they arent with the president. But by the same token their constituents will want to see action and in their best interests perhaps to help build bridges and fix roads. Thats where well see the big schism in the democratic party. In the States Donald trump won for whom that message resonates and i thought it was interesting last night on special report she said she was interested in working with him on that issue. For conservatives in the Republican Party this is a tough situation because of course its more spending, which is a real problem. Rick you have people who hate this president so much that they just will not let it go. They will cut off their nose to spite their face. Rick and keep after it. The clips you showed a minute ago of the house members, they view this as like the latest civil rights issue. They view this as something, a mountain on which they will die and they arent listening to reason about any of it and not listening to political calculation. Rick well leave it there charlie hurt, washington times. Thank you for being with us. Julie new information is a dustup over a first class seat after a member of congress is called out for displacing another passenger. She now says she is being targeted because of racism and now we know more about the woman at the center of this controversy. Rick the woman seemingly accused of racism by congresswoman Sheila Jackson lee is reportedly a human rights activist. The controversy involves a dispute over a first class ticket on a United Airlines flight. As it turns out the woman is also a photo journalist who documented war crimes in guatemala. Earlier the congresswoman took to twitter blaming the incident on racism. I noted that this individual came toward me and took a picture. I heard later she might have said quote i know who she is. Since this was not any fault of mine the way the individual continued to act appeared to be upon reflection because i was an africanamerican woman. Julie Rex Tillerson defending President Trumps Foreign Policy record and writing in the New York Times. Here is part of it. Its long. A quote. Over the last year the United States has faced immense challenges in its dealings with north korea, china and russia. And in its effort to defeat International Terrorism in spite of the challenges, i remain optimistic about the power of diplomacy to resolve conflicts and advance american interests. Shawn steel is a member of the Republican National committee. Richard goodstein is a former clinton advisor. Shawn, what do you make of tillersons comments . I think its important. Trump has probably had the best month of his entire presidency for all the reasons, the economy is booming, it will get much better, bad news for the democrats. The tax reform is historic. But on Foreign Policy this is another strong suit. Rex tillerson, by offering a major oped praising the president , supporting the president , all the rumors of the discontent between the two are going out the window because President Trump has lunch and meets more often for private meetings with Rex Tillerson than any other cabinet officer. Sure theyve had tremendous strains and stresses over the last year because Foreign Policy was in a terrible shape by obama. He set up iran making it virtually a Nuclear Activity state. Weak on the russians and trump has been much more effective. Ignoring north korea, the greatest threat of all, those three big issues taking on russia and iran and marginalizing north korea is a huge breakthrough. Tillerson deserves a lot of credit and something he mentioned in the oped he is streamlining the state department. It is a huge, fat bureaucracy of 60,000 bureaucrats. Many who should be moving on to another career. Julie you have to wonder, he is doing a good job in the eyes of the president because the president is not one to quickly forgive and forget when it comes to people not being loyal to him. Richard, there has been so much back and forth between President Trump and secretary of state. There were reports that aides wanted tillerson to resign. Is this tillerson trying to save his job or prove his loyalty to his president . You have to tip your hat to Rex Tillerson. Not many people can get away with calling their boss an expletive moron and not deny it and still keep their job. I will say this. The Pew Research Center does a poll every year across the world of what the countries opinions are of the United States. This year the opinions of the United States have fallen drastically across the board with one exception which is russia, where the favorable opinion went up from 14 to 41 . Thats it. We just had this u. N. Vote where remember nikki haley said she would take names. Well, the four of the five leading recipients of u. S. Aid, afghanistan, iraq, jordan and egypt voted against u. S. Interests and somehow or other the president continues to kind of coddle authoritarians like putin and cici. We see the fuss about going to the princes wedding. Let me say one final thing. North korea with all this tough talk weve had stronger, longer range missiles being fired since the talk rather than before. Not quite sure. Julie you have to admit as far as this president dealing with north korea, our last administration didnt have any better success. We actually have this secretary of state basically who has come forward and said he wants to actually try to talk talks in 2018. The question is does he actually meet and agree with the president on those sentiments . President trump, shawn, has been very vocal and made it very clear that this will no longer continue. So something has to happen, something has to give. The question is, is it diplomacy or Something Else . President trump has used some pretty tough words against pyongyang. Trump depends very much on his generals who are the most realistic and antiwar of all the elements of government. They understand the price of war. Our secretary of defense lost his own son in afghanistan. To say that the United States is terribly unpopular is a joke. The United States is the economic engine of the world, israel, of course, very much likes trump and naming major places in israel after him. Frankly, im not too concerned about the europeans. The point is that obama always showed his cards first and told the terrorists when he have would leave afghanistan, he forgot about the red line, obama was weak on north korea and trump has only had 11 months and made significant progress. Julie thats all the time we have, shawn steel and richard goodstein, thank you very much. Isis, the numbers are down dramatically despite their being a terrorist attack this morning there has been an extreme vetting of these terrorists wiping them out of iraq, something past administration wasnt able to do. We have to look forward to 2018 to see more. Thank you both. Rick authorities releasing dramatic 911 calls from the deadly amtrak Train Derailment in washington state.
