And a ton of rain so far in california. And the governor spoke about how they will spend hundreds of millions to inspect the current dams and try to improve the basic infrastructure that is in place. They have not prepared for the influx of water. That comes as state voters approved a 7. 1 billion water bond in 2014. You build storage to fill in the storm events 3 5 years to get you through the droughts. You cannot prevvent droughts but you can over come droughts. And thats the problem with the floods. There is seven multiyear draughts in california and floods ended them and almost all of the water hasnt been captured all of those times.
