this whole thing is truly become a circus, as you've heard many times today. i have some confidence. i think the polling will continue to go in the direction against impeachment and good reason for that. >> brian: before christmas, we'll probably have house floor vote, tonight you are supposed to have a committee vote, and then what? do you work on friday? could you get this done on friday? >> they're saying, the rumor on the hill right now is that we might be voting on the floor on thursday, wednesday or thursday. who knows, this whole thing has been a rush job, it is part of the problem with substantive claims. one of their claims is the president abused his power and obstructed justice. there is no obstruction of justice when the president delays or denies a subpoena from congress, it happens all the time. it happened in the obama administration and virtually every administration in the modern era. there is remedy for that. party issuing subpoena is supposed to go to court and let the third branch of government decide that.
