These are not permanent moves. 1,000 troops from a Striker Squadron based in germany will be move to romania to augment the troops there on a rotation. 1,700 troops from the 82nd Airborne in fort bragg, a combat team, will go to poland and 300 members of the airborne core will set up in germany. The same unit to oversee the evacuation from afghanistan. Kirby said theres additional troops that have been placed on high alert. This started because joe biden just as he did in afghanistan was ignoring the intelligence on the ground. The situation was completely avoidable.
