first of all she reports -- doesn't report her missing takes 30 days for her to report her missing. what does she do during this period of time? she's out getting tattoos, partying, out drinking, she's out buying lingerie. this is not what a mother does who has concern and care for her child. there are no mitigating circumstances which will save her life. she will be found guilty and she will be sentenced to death. >> geraldo: do you know how many women kill their children every year, joey, more than 200. do you know how many women have been executed in the state of florida since 1924? >> yes. hair, the smell of a dead person. >> i heard her mother say it smelled like there had been a dead body in the car. then they tried to say it was pizza or something like that. >> geraldo: some jurors remembered even slightest detail about where and in what condition kayley's body was found. >> the little girl was found in the woods or in wooded area near grandparents' house. tape on her mouth. >> geraldo: to determine whether prospective jurors trying to down play their exposure to pre-trial publicity, they had their own hit list of troublesome tv shows. >> you wouldn't have seen any cable news shows such as "geraldo rivera" or things like that, would you have seen any of the attorneys either side. >> no. >> talking on television? get away with it. and often people who are rich and famous and powerful and charismatic and certainly he was all of the above. think that they can get away with just about anything. because they are who they are and unfortunately for him that is not what the story is now. now the truth is coming out and it's very painful. i'm sure it's painful for him but even more painful for the people he has betrayed in his family, and those who he has hurt. i just hope that the children can recover from all of this and that maria can as well. because none of them have deserved what he did to them. >> >> we do not have verification right now where she is. but what is interesting about this whole scenario is that, it's almost played out in reverse. usually when something like this goes down in hollywood, it's the mistress that comes out and says, oh, i had a torrid affair with this celebrity. here we have this hollywood actor and politico coming out first and saying, i have a love child with my housekeeper and now, we can't find her. she's obviously in hiding, my sources tell me that she's in hiding, why she is, it's unclear. i'm sure there's lot going on behind the scenes and my sources tell me that she wasn't too happy about the way that this all played out. and that she kind of looks like the bad guy now. >> geraldo: well, i'm not certain of that. wendy, the fact that he married a kennedy, do you think that made him a teflon celebrity, someone who could do whatever he wanted to do and suppress bad stories about himself? >> certainly did. of course gave him access to politics in the first place. also helps him cover up a lot of she sea-tac to, about his past -- sleezy, the fact that he is married to maria had hands-off policy. everybody knew, believe me there are more things that will come out, i have very good sources that this child is not the only misadventure of arnold. >> geraldo: other children? >> that's what i'm hearing, yes. >> geraldo: gloria, you know these guys, you know the scene, how is he viewed now? is it as object of ridicule and scorn or, that's arnold, how do people think of him now? >> i think almost universal condemnation. because after all, it isn't just having a relationship outside of marriage, it's also having a child and it's having a child with your housekeeper and also the allegation is, that he did that within his own home and with an entrusted employee. and the idea that if it's true, that a husband would have a sexual relationship maybe in his marital bed or at least in his own home where his wife lived and children lived, somehow that is the ultimate betrayal. i just like to add that there are various reasons why mildred/patty may not be speaking that is include confidentiality clause that does not allow thor speak. >> geraldo: right back.
