i think going abroad is much more likely. speculation about africa. it is a continent that william has always loved and cherished. of course he proposed in kenya. there is talk possibly of bots wanna or the caribbean islands. and jordan is mentioned as a possibility. the king of jordan offered his private and secure retreat. they will make the most of it. william has taken two weeks holiday from his job as a search and rescue pilot. so because of that the long haul destination is the one that the money is on. >> yes because he has obviously two weeks off as a search and rescue pilot. let's head over to the goring hotel. tom is there for us. with the middleton family and all of the revelers, and it has been -- well it is an early morning, tom. >> that's right. it is an early morning arrivals. around 3:00 this morning we saw some of the notable attendees arriving back at the end of a night of hard partying as we understand it. pippa middleton in a different outfit from the one she was wearing earlier in the day. of course she add staring role in the proceedings alongside her sister. she is back at the goring and we saw princess beatrice arrive back and chelsea davie, prince harry's long-term on and off girlfriend. everyone is waking up and trying to take in the grand spectacle that they were all part of yesterday and preparations are now underway by the police and the hotel staff to make sure their check out and departure from their hotel goes as smoothly as things plan throughout the day yesterday. >> tom outside the goring hotel you still have to speak in hushed tones. thank you, back to you when we can see and learn more. don't forget the best moments from the wedding all over again. that's at 3:00 this afternoon and again at 8:00. including both kisses of course. let's get an update too on the other news of the day. >> thank you. >> in scotland, 21 people were arrested after trouble with an unofficial royal wedding street party. they claimed police were pelted with bottles and one officer taken to hospital with a head injury. during the event at the park. thousands of people are believed to have attended the party which was organized on facebook. qaddafi appeared on state tv saying he is prepared to enter a cease-fire with rebel forces. we go now live to trippoli. and what are we to read into this? is it a sign he is weakening? >> it is not the first time he has said this, and it probably won't be the last. but this was a more conciliatory appearance by the libyan leader. late at night, 2:00 in the morning libyan time he was apparently live on state television offering not only a cease-fire, but negotiations with nato. he said "you are the aggressors, but we will still negotiate with you." and he said "why are you killing our children? why are you destroying our infrastructure? " it was a rambling speech. he denied he was killing civilians in libya, but he said the door was open to peace. coincidentally or perhaps not while he was speak thrg were three nato air strikes in tripolli near his compound in an area where a tv communications structure is, and the libyans took out journalists to see those last night, and it was apparent that there were a couple of craters around what they said was a communications office for women and children and infrastructure for them and also infro -- infrastructure for parliament. >> thank you. in other news, america imposed sanctions on two relatives and his intelligence agency. the penalties include freezing any assets the officials may have in u.s. jurisdictions. the u.n has also now ordered an investigation after activists reported more than 500 deaths during the six weeks of protests. at least 62 people are reported to have died yesterday. president obama promised aid after alabama. they now lost their lives and billions of dollars of damage was caused. new figures suggest angry parents are lashing out at those employed to teach their children. a survey by the national association of head teachers said more than one in 10 heads have been attacked by people at their school. almost three quarters of those suffered a verbal abuse or threats from a parent in the last five years. and some 20% have been victimized on a social networking site. after a guest left the abbey one man had a celebration of his own. he took the opportunity to take center stage as the bells rang by breaking into cart wheels. there he goes with another one. he chart wheeled his way straight down the center aisle. >> i can't decide who is better him or the laughing policeman. >> thank you very much for that. >> "the daily mail" and that picture of the royal couple's first kiss on buckingham palace. and the two with their embrace and not even bothering with a headline. "the mirror" showing the second kiss and points out a rather uninterested bridesmaid. and she is funny. and the raw theater captivating the world. another bridesmaid that was more engaged with they events. and "the sun" put both on the front page saying, you wait for years for a royal kiss to come along and then two come at once. "the express" says it was william and kate's perfect day. also saying sealed with a double kiss. it is the lead too of the front of saturday's "guardian." there are other matters on there. "the times" with a different picture, william and kate driving in the prince of wale's aston martin. "one great day for british" on" the daily star" and a different take for "the ypd" is a sketch of the kiss. and bringing mixed reviews and e-mails. the royal wedding might have been held in london, but it didn't stop people from across britain gathering to watch the big day to celebrate as peter schaub now reports. >> where the couple first met you didn't need an invitation to the abbie to catch >> a completely different look to diana. it was an absolute explosion of taf ti a. >> it was a different era. it was the theater when she wore that dress. it was opulence. and what kate was showing was -- not that it was being with the times but it was time less and classic and beautiful. she played it safe and very well. >> and then of course the queen sara burton designed that the reception dress. >> what did you think of that? >> really elegant. it showed off her figure. the only thing i was not certain about was the cardigan she wore. i think she should have showed off her body more. she tried to cover up and look elegant. it was just so simple. >> and was it white or ivory? >> i think it was an ivory color. it was not true white. it was more off white ivory. >> and wills has got to learn to get out of the way. >> i think it was tiring. they didn't know where to go and you can see will asking for a bit of direction. what is going on now? >> and of course the other aspect, a lot of pictures in the paper of pippa, her sister as the brides maid. >> i think she stole the show. everybody i was with was gasping with delight when pippa emerged. she looked amazing, stunning. she is so very beautiful and an amazing figure, and that dress clung to everything. >> she looked so grace kelly from the 50s. >> it is. >> and it is quite sexy as well. the way it scooped down in the front and a little cleavage. she looked amazing, absolutely amazing. >> and not forget the other bridesmaids. >> they looked beautiful. so cute. and the boys looked amazing with their military outfits. >> did the celebs match the elegant stakes? >> there were fashion winners and definitely fashion losers. the beckhams always get it right. victoria looked fantastic, but she should have wore a little more color. she is conscious though of her figure. she would have looked better in a bright color. >> a very dark navy blue. >> it was a midnight blue. beckham looked fantastic as he always does. and i think victoria probably could have took a few more risks, but she didn't. >> and very quickly samantha cameron, why no hat? >> i thought she looked amazing, but everybody commented on the fact she wasn't wearing a hat. she had something in her hair which was her one concession to the occasion. but the mcqueen dress looked amazing. >> she looks amazing and again it showed off her figure and her tiny waist. she looks amazing. >> thank you for joining us with your expert view. >> pleasure. >> and charlie has his royal purple tie on for the event. >> trying to be fascinating. >> i will morning. welcome to sunrise. >> good morning. >> i seem to remember last month you were saying that sara burton would be a surprise choice? >> well, i was banking on it. when there was speculation i was hoping she would go with sara burton because i think it was a step out of the box for kate. kate has a very classic considered style which suits her beautifully. i think as she is now going to be considered a fashion icon throughout the world, this was a great collaboration, and it says this is the way i am starting and this is the way i will continue, and watch me now. >> what did you make of it in terms of, as you say the statement being made with this? >> well, i thought the dress was exquisitely handled. i thought it was very, very beautiful. it had a reference to the page gentry of the event and the day, but it kept kate in mind. it did on wonders for her figure. she has a beautiful, long, lean figure it accentuates all the right spots. and the devil was in the detail with the application of the irish lace. it was all mirrored image across the bodice. and she looked saw -- sublime. and i loved the idea of a short veil rather than a completely over on the top long cathedral length veil. >> and i guess a complete world away from 1981 with all of the taff -- tafita with diana. this is a new era. >> well, people are always going to draw parallels between the princess of wales, diana, and kate now, the duchess of cambridge. i think kate wanted to sort of separate that and make her own decision. and that's why probably she didn't go for something over the top and theatrical. she did get caught up in the occasion, but in the right way. >> and going to the reception, in sara burton again. something simple and classical. we are not sure if it was white or ivory, but reflection -- was going to have her first dance. >> she wore ivory. it was an ivory crepe, and it was a similar bodice without the lace, if you saw it. there was no lace. it was basically strapless and she wore when she left -- when she left for the party it was a an angora knit. but the dress was a strapless bodice with a crystal waist band and a beautiful full skirt. >> so don't call it a car daw again -- cardigan then? >> no, you don't want to call it a cardi. >> what does this do for britain's fashion industry worldwide particularly for the house of alexzander? >> well, it was never going to be an easy choice for kate. she did a remarkable job and by choosing alexzander mcqueen, sara burton, it was a very big boost in the arm for british fashion. i think it was essential she chose a british designer. and the fashion world and the fashion elite are going to be throwing themselves at her feet from here on in to try and get clothes on that beautiful back. >> and her sister pippa came up very fast in the rails as chief brides maid. i. >> i have to say the middletons did a wonderful job from carol to pippa, they looked sublime. >> congratulations to all. thank you very much for joining us at buckingham palace. enjoy the rest of today as well. >> thank you. >> of course we still have got a day of reflection ahead. the honeymoon to come and the going away outfit. >> we are expecting an official photograph to be released. >> that will be the official -- >> the official inside buckingham palace. the photograph that will go on the man -- man el it. stuff from the honeymoon and stuff from last it into. >> and already amazing statistics. >> the coverage was excellent and my colleague pointed out a few. 187 horses on parade during the wedding. 8,500 journalists from around the world traveled to london to cover the event. and i like this one. 1,700 biscuits -- rich tea biscuits used to make the cake. he used to enjoy them at buckingham palace as a boy. >> is it your task to find the secret royal recipe to share with the nation? >> any secret we can dig up we will be doing that. >> get that cake recipe. >> the tele graver? >> i like the headline, playfulness. this aston martin top every enjoyed. it added an element of playfulness. they were both smiling. >> two kisses. >> yes, two kisses. photographers were delighted. the first was so quick. if you missed it, your career would be over. they got a second chance. that was lovely. i loved the element of it. on that theme of playfulness they have done a cut out of what they said. >> this is the lip reader of work. >> pippa to kate, you look amazing. michael to kate, are you okay? she replays, yeah, dad. and it is lovely when harry tells william, she's coming now. she looks amazing. >> he looks down the aisle. people were surprised. it -- he didn't look that early. he was facing forward and it was harry who looked at kate first and he turned. and then lovely exchange in the carriage as they got into it. she said, are you okay? and he says yes i'm okay. and william says, yes, yes it was a beautiful service, it really was. it was amazing, amazing. i'm so proud, you are my wife. it is mad, oh my goodness. it is loud here, these people are clapping. just like normal people. >> and this is quite important. reare reflecting they have had 10 years together. so they have got that rapport before becoming a royal couple. >> the mess seeming down at buckingham palace is loud and clear how in love they are. it is lovely. >> however, a couple questions , why was camilla so on edge? >> well, she did look a little sallow. i think it is difficult for her and charles. charles was eclipsed by diana and now it looks like he and his wife will be eclipsed by william and kate. >> and will it be a reflection that diana is not there on her son's big day? >> and i think camilla would make her the third woman in the marriage feel uncomfortable on the day of days william had yesterday. >> and the picture, this is of camilla again with carol middleton. they were having a little girl gossip. >> a good old chat. and what was lovely about the coverage is the picture of pippa and harry together. >> is this something we should be following? what are the lip readers saying here. >> apparently he turned to her and said, you look really good, seriously. >> whether we will have a union of pippa and harry. pippa has a boyfriend and he has a girlfriend. >> she was there. they are both probably the most eligible singletons in the world. >> thank you ever so much. and good luck today. we are looking forward to your addition tomorrow. >> thank you very much. more to come on the royal wedding. stay with us here. the duke and duchess of cambridge waking up to their first full day of husband and wife after two billion people worldwide watched their wedding at westminister abbey. now let's go to our sister station, sky news for more coverage from great britain. >> william is a give away with his hand rubbing. as a self-comfort signal. he just put on his gloves, but as he continues into the abbey he will see more. it soothes him. that's what he does. harry does it too. >> william we see -- we will see a bit more of it. for someone like that when they know they are facing something, it is a subconscious gesture. he doesn't realize he is doing it. even his thumb is going at that point. it starts releasing the oxitocin. it is a soothing gesture. >> on the surface itself and the vows and the rings. and you are looking at the pursed lips and the smiles. >> look at catherine. she wants to smile, but she is so desperately anxious and there is a mix of joy and anxiety. she keeps pursing the lips. as she purses her lips it helps her contain her anxiety, and throughout the vows she is doing it again. >> would it be a tearful thing here, you are trying to fight that as well jie. when you use the physical gesture like that, if you are pursing, it literally distracts the brain from tear production. it helped her. but i can see her doing it repeated loo and can see the stress in her. no matter what happy moment it was, it was two billion people watching you. >> right. and then the eyes a little later as well where they are looking down and looking away or whatever. >> they have great harmony at that moment where they are reassuring each other. excellent eye contact. if they were looking away from each other and nervous about eye contact it is a bad sign. here we have her and she is incredibly nervous at this point. she is flicking through and went through three pages. you can see her start moving away with the eye contact. she looks at her guests and -- >> the hands are shaking as well you spotted. >> exactly. >> and here she looks up and looks back down and looks up. she cannot concentrate on the order of service at that point and finally what happens is she looks for a final time and william -- william gives her a nice reassuring look to calm down. he had to give her one look and it is that moment. that shows how much they have. somehow his own subconscious registered she could not focus on the prayers. finally he looks at her and gives her a look. reassurance. >> and then coming out of the abbie. you are facing this huge audience. what a thing to have to cope with having been through all this. >> i tell you by nature kate is an eye contact engager. even with her naif she looks out. he is an avoider. he came down the abbey looking at the floor. it shows the inner shyness. like his mother. >> this is also royal duty. this has to be the official occasion. >> which they do gracefully. but then they start the walk back down the aisle and to exit the abbey. and kate is engaging with her guests and william looks down. >> now she is princess. >> and she is always so great about. no matter the anxiety she will not look down and she will keep engaging. >> and once in the carriage does that become a bit of sanctuary for them? >> as they arrive william does a classic lip succeeding inward. it is a long shot, but see how he does with his lips he is preparing for the next wave of anxiety, and he continued to do that. he does it again. he purses his lips and he sort of puts them in-- inward. he simply is preparing himself. a few minutes later there is amazing sin crone knee. they waive at the same time and dip their heads together. >> and then lips together for another reason a little later. >> the kiss. >> when we see the kiss it is quick, but perfect symetry. they have half closed eyes. >> and the second time, definitely longer. he wants to hang on to her lips. >> who can blame him? >> it is a happy ending. >> good to see you this morning. now a look at the weather for a honeymoon perhaps? >> plenty of
