"seriously, how does atrepweiner not know what his own drawers look like." that was the question. >> fair enough. >> i tried to answer this for you several times. i appreciate it, though. thank you. >> yes or a no. >> here's what i get from the interview. he's actually admitting the picture could be his own. but that he didn't necessarily send it out. he also says pictures can be manipulated. he also has admitted. this is the biggest thing to me, he's admitted to taking sexual photos. >> how did he say it? >> he said that he had -- that he has taken sexual photos but maybe this particular one is not him or one of the ones he's talking about. i don't know about you guys but i can unequivocably say i have not taken sexual photos. i just know that. that to me is a little weird. he does say that he didn't send it. it also would be a federal crime if his hacking allegations is actually true so now he's kind of coming off that and calling it a prank because it could be a crime alone if he actually says it's hacking and it's not. >> you know, a democratic strategist says he's surprised that anthony weiner has not been forthcoming. mayor koch says that weiner has to save his career one way to come clean and be honest with everybody. a democratic consultant, yes, it's damaging. this was once a small story. it's getting bigger and bigger and bigger. and it's more likely to reach the average joe and they will never forget. >> here's the thing, why doesn't he call the capital police? he's a member of congress. why doesn't he call the f.b.i.? he says, congressman weiner does, no need for a big federal investigation. >> sometimes it is what it looks like. someone sends congressman weiner's account, you know, hacks in and takes a picture of something that may make fun of the person's name. sends it, direct it to someone. it never goes anywhere. it was mischief. now, if it turns out it's more than that, if it turns out that it's some kind of a larger conspiracy, if it turns out that authorities should be brought in, do we -- do you -- do my constituents really think that we need a national investigation with national resources brought to bear just because congressman weiner had his account hacked? >> guaranteed if it was a republican, congressman weiner would probably be behind a federal investigation and by the way, it may be a little disingenius to say we're wasting tax dollars on this when in congress he's one of the biggest advocates of using tax dollars to pay for things. >> the mom of the 21-year-old in the milled ddle of this is outr. she says this is a person of power and she says my daughter is 21 and in the middle of finals and this is a massive distraction. >> the former attorney general says that if he, weiner, filed a complaint to say he had been hacked when he in fact had not been, that would be making a false statement to either local police authorities or federal authorities and that would be a crime. >> you know, the whole thing was he tried to put this behind h himself but he made it so much worse and now we wonder, has he taken pictures of himself? and he said paul, i did my homework, i know your plan. and he said, it is not a voucher plan and they got into it a little bit in a very respectful way according to administration official and he was asked about that in front of the press. >> absolutely. and so that was in the after -- the post-game show and apparently, during the 75 minute meeting, the fact that mr. ryan did challenge the president in such a direct way at the conclusion of the question, the republicans, every one of them in the room stood up and gave him a standing ovation. now, we should point out the president is going to be meeting with house democrats today. i do believe tim geitner is going to go up to capitol hill to talk to freshmen republican because they are against raising the debt limit. in the meantime, a congressman from louisiana by the name of jeff landry, here is why he turned down the invitation to the white house meeting. >> we're having these meetings and discussing issues but then nothing is getting done and at the same time, all that's running -- that's saying that's running out of that hourglass and, of course, as i've learned in washington, nothing happens at the 11th hour. that's what i'm not interested in partaking that kind of political gamemanship. i'm interested in reducing a debt and creating jobs. >> yeah another interesting point that came out of that is the president was asked why he has not presented a different kind of plan, because he believes it won't get anywhere in the house. the house is dominated by republicans. >> it would help with a starting point, though. >> boehner says only marginal progress has been made and it sounds like the white house is putting all their eggs in the joe biden basket. >> next on our rundown, mitt romney and president obama separated at birth?
