i think -- [inaudible] >> the plan is to vote on thursday, chairman nadler says the resolution will do a few king things. give the president due process allowing his counsel to pose questions as part of an inquiry and allow the committee's counsel to question witnesses at those hearings. what that likely means is more aggressive questioning of witnesses and first up is going to be president trump's former campaign manager corey lewandowski. nadler says by passing the resolution and formalizing the investigation it will allow the committee to move more effectively and quickly and says there is no need for the full house to authorize it. but republicans argue that is a break from precedent. that the full house should vote and the reason that they're not voting is because democrats don't have the votes. sandra. >> sandra: kristin fisher on capitol hill. >> bill: bring in our headliner
