how do we protect the people that worship with us. and it's a terrible thing to have to think about, but it's the reality of the world that we live in now. eric: just a few moments ago we had a former assemblyman who was head of a group dedicated to anti-semitism saying that there should be more hate laws, hate crimes, and he blamed the rhetoric of the left. we don't know the situation involving in situation in texas, what the motivation is, whether it is terrorism or domestic, but he made a point about the fact that in some cases the hate crime statutes are not strong enough and that there is too much divisive rhetoric around in the country today especially when dealing with religion. >> well, i don't necessarily agree with that. [inaudible] we have some laws. i think the laws are fine. i do agree about the lettering, and i think it's hateful and
