2016 president ial campaign. Theres growing call from both the democrats and the republicans for sessions to recuse himself from the russia probe. Should he do it . Attorney general sessions, hes still maintaining his innocence. He says and i quote for the very latest, go to our own blake burman live at the white house. Hey, blake. Reporter hey, trish, the important part of that quote that you read was about the campaign. Here at the white house, they are pushing back by saying thensenator Jeff Sessions was able to talk to ambassadors, in this case, ambassador, an ambassador of any country under his duties as a member of the senate. However, the other part here and which is a problem for sessions is the testimony he gave during his confirmation hearing which he said and i am quoting, i did not have communications with the russians. To that end, many republicans are calling republicans keep in mind are calling for the attorney general, should he be overseeing an investigation into russian meddling into the election to recuse himself. One of those being jason chaffetz, he sent out this tweet, ag sessions should clarify his testimony and recuse testimony. When asked about this, House Speaker paul ryan wasnt calling for sessions to recuse himself unless there is a specific stipulation. If he himself is the subject of an investigation, of course he would. If hes not, i dont see purpose or reason to doing this. Honestly, we meet with ambassadors all the time. Reporter james comey met with members of the House Intelligence Committee, after the meeting, devin nunes said he was told or from what hes heard at this point he has seen no evidence of contact between officials and Trump Campaign members. He wants more information from the fbi as it relates to any possible investigation. In order for us to do our investigation in a thorough and credible way, were going to need the fbi to fully cooperate, to be willing to tell us the length and breath of counterintelligence investigations theyre conducting. At this point, the director was not willing to do that. Reporter trish, keep in mind, as we talk about this, we await the president down in virginia to board the navy air carrier. This should have been a layup for the president on this day, going to the air carrier, having this opportunity, speaking about defense spending. Instead, the narrative that is hanging over the administration and the department of justice at this point is the story about Jeff Sessions. Trish you know, makes you wonder about the timing of these things, he did so well in the speech, and all of a sudden, the leaks get planted and the story is the sessions russia issue. Were going to talk about it. Blake burman, thank you so much. Joining me now Fox News Contributor and former chief of staff to president george w. Bush. Karl rove. Good to see you. Important story today, i question whether there is an amount of political theater here, what do you say . Enormous amount of political theater. Al franken, senator al franken, d, minnesota in hollywood, what would you do if you found out members of the Campaign Staff were in communication with the russians . And Jeff Sessions, senator sessions, answered it correctly. Im not aware of the activities and dont want to comment on a hypothetical. Senator leahy sent a written comment have you had conversations with the russians about the 2016, he said no. He acknowledges he met twice with the ambassador but met as his role as the Senate Armed Services member but not as a campaign member. Trish he was on the Armed Services committee, you would, as a member of the Armed ServicesCommittee Meet with ambassadors from various countries at any given time. Isnt that sort of what you got to do . Well trish they were talking about the campaign, and hes made it clear. No, they were in different capacity. Looks, it doesnt happen a lot. You would anticipate having taken a highprofile role, its a National Security issue adviser to candidate trump that ambassadors would be trying to climb over the walls and get a meeting with him. This is just a lot of this is abject politics. My personal favorite is senator Claire Mccaskill in missouri who got all up in arms, called for him to resign and said ive been a member of the Armed Services committee for ten years and never had a call or meeting with a Russian Ambassador. That was today. Ian prior at senate leadership, a super pac im involved with found her tweeting out in 2015, im looking forward to meeting personally with the Russian Ambassador, and got jump on it and get on a call with a Russian Ambassador. A lot of this is politics. Having said that, i do think that if the fbi investigation goes forward and finds something and makes a referral to the justice department, it would be right for senator sessions, attorney general sessions to recuse himself from it from this perspective. He was an official in the campaign. This may touch people who were involved in the campaign if there is something there, and it would just give people confidence if he said, i was acting. I hear you. I played a role and step aside and let my deputy make decisions. Trish you are concerned about any appearance of impropriety and you dont want to have those doubts seeded in the american public. Absolutely. Trish in your view, take the high road, but so you all feel better about it, i will recuse myself. I think he signalled that this morning. He was caught by reporters, getting into his car, and he said in essence, i would do the appropriate thing, and look, ive known Jeff Sessions for a long, long time. He has a great sense of integrity and no doubt in my mind if the investigation were somehow going lead to something, that he would understand that his role in the campaign would require trish in other words, a little convoluted in relationship to the ties and the relationships he has. Yeah. Trish have you known him a long time. What is your gut sense of whether or not this could have happened at all . Look, Jeff Sessions is not the kind of guy i would back this thats why i want to be fair. I looked at the franken question, what would you do if you found this out . Trish i think weve got it. Let me play it so the viewers know exactly what youre talking about. If there is any evidence that anyone affiliated with the Trump Campaign communicated with the russian government in the course of this campaign, what will you do . Senator franken, im not aware of any of those activities. I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign, and i did not have communications with the russians, and im unable to comment on it. Trish all right, that is the sound bite in question, that is the moment there. Franken is focused on the campaign. Trish wasnt aware of the activities but said ive been u two with the campaign and havent had communications with the russian. Thats where he may get tripped up a little in the semantics. Inartful. Trish he meant Political Communications with the russians. In the context of campaign activity, and it was inartful, and youre right. This is something if something emerges and the fbi comes to main justice and found information that would lead us to believe that you know about this, he should recuse himself. Franken, remember, what would you do if . And it wasnt did you talk to him . Leahy specifically said have you had contact with russian officials about the 2016 campaign . And he says no. Because the contact he did have was apparently in his rolesa the Armed Services committee member. Trish which is normal. If youre in the Armed Services committee, you meet with ambassadors from Different Countries and made the point about Claire Mccaskill who seems to forget she met with the Russian Ambassador and tweeted about it. I want to be clear. Having been through a couple of president ial campaigns, particularly the general election, ambassadors and representatives of foreign governments are desperate to make a contact with both candidate, republican and democratic president ial candidates and the campaigns, so whoever wins they begin to develop a relationship with them. Theres no doubt in my mind that jeff oo another members of the Armed Services committee were not visited during the same time frame and one of the reasons was jeff was the National Security issue chairman, adviser for the Trump Campaign. Of course, theyre trying to get a chance to plant themselves in front of him and begin to develop a relationship. Trish karl, quickly, before i let you go, so im completely clear on this. Do you think he should recuse himself now . No, no, no wait, wait, wait, look, this is all in the hands of the fbi, and adam schiff, the ranking democrat on the House Intelligence Committee is making a mistake if he is demanding the fbi in the middle of investigation turn over information so he can have a News Conference and be hot dogged. Leave it in the hands of the fbi, in my opinion, the senate Intelligence Committee, the House Intelligent Committee ought to look at question of russian involvement in the election. I trust the senate Intelligence Committee more, you have richard burr, a sensible democrat, the House Intelligence Committee, adam schiff is one of the highly partisan members of the committee. He is highly irresponsible at times, ill go into that at a later time. I will feel better about the senate Intelligence Committee going into this han the house. Dont force the fbi to prematurely cough up whatever they have. Let the investigation take its course. Trish have you all the unnamed sources and leaks, et cetera which also has many questioning the motives here. All timed coincidentally to right after the phenomenal speech that the president gave at joint session. Thank you so much. Trish, trish, sometimes youve got your deeply suspicious of human nature. What happened to your youthful idealism . Thats all ive got to say. Trish ive been talking too much politics, i guess. Absolutely. Thank you. Trish good to see you. You bet. Trish turning to the story that is captivating wall street right now. Snap, the parent of the disappearing message app snapchat is make its wall street debut today and everybody is super excited about it. The social media stock is trading higher since opening at 24 per share and investors jumping on the bandwagon. High volume is important to note. Making it one of the most heavily traded stocks of the day. Lots of momentum, it will stay . Cheryl casone is live with more on it. Hey, cheryl. Reporter hey there, trish, i have to talk local politics. We have protesters in venice beach that dont like snapchat. They dont want a company that just went public because theyre unhappy with the way snap handled business in venice beach. At the same time, the ipo so far today has been labeled a, is yes, trading started by 11 30 eastern time today. Once the stock hit the market at 17 a share, jumped right up. You had 24 a share price and change after that. How it will close, weve got to wait a couple hours. Have you millionaires and billionaires residing in venice beach. If you look at evan spiegel, hes worth 4. 9 billion. 26, 28 years old, these two respectively that cofounded the company. In 2011 when they called it pictaboo. Photos that disappear. If you look at todays trading activity, the facebook ipo was a bit of a stumble, mishandled by nasdaq, we dont like to bring that up for the folks of the nasdaq, but the stock gained 6. 1 that day. The twitter ipo gained 7 for the day, twitter stock after that stumbled. Youve got a lot of disagreement about the company and how they handle the ipo and how they handle their presence in venice beach, the corporate, Community Partner fushlgs. When all is said and done, they pulled off one heck of an ipo, wall street, investors and the media were loving it. Whatever happened to the stock today, its been a heck of a day for the ipo. Trish cheryl, thank you so much. Were going to talk about snap more coming up. Breaking right now, the Senate Vote Coming in confirming rick perry as Energy Secretary by a vote of 6237. The former Texas Governor has gone the support from nearly a dozen democrats during the confirmation process, so he is indeed the new Energy Secretary, you will recall, that was the department he wanted to eliminate. Hows that for irony. Democrats calling for the resignation of attorney general Jeff Sessions over his contacts with russia. The timing, i gotta say, is extremely curious. Its happening 24 hours after the president gave the best political speech his life. So is this a witchhunt or part of a greater scandal with russia . Were going to talk about it. Plus have you got a question youd like to ask me . Coming up at 3 30 p. M. Im answering them. You can ask me anything, i am hosting an ask me anything forum over at mogul. The website is on mogul. Com. On mogul. Com. Go there and ask me anything you want. Im getting questions about whether or not i still sing opera. Did you know that i did . What i watch on tv and questions about my shoes. Ask me anything you want, 3 30 p. M. , ill see you there. Plus im back in two, and were going to have more on snap and this situation with senator sessions. Now a. G. See you here. Usaa gives me the peace of mind and the security just like the marines did. The process through usaa is so effortless, that you feel like youre a part of the family. I love that i can pass the membership to my children. Were the williams family, and were usaa members for life. And her new mobile wedding business. Tte at first, getting paid was tough. Until she got quickbooks. Now she sends invoices, sees when theyve been viewed andtadahpaid twice as fast for free. Visit quickbooksdotcom. Trish less than 24 hours after President Trump had his best day of his administration, attorney general Jeff Sessions under fire from the left and the right amid reports sessions talked twice to russias ambassador during the president ial campaign. The white house is condemning the report saying and i quote its no surprise senator al frank sen pushing the story as the democrats waste no time pouncing on all it. The fact that the attorney general, the top cop in our country lied under oath to the American People is grounds for him to resign. Is grounds for him to resign. He has proved he is unqualified and unfit to serve in that position of trust. After this, its clear attorney general sessions does not meet that test. Because the department of justice should be above reproach for the good of the country, attorney general sessions should resign. Jeff sessions should clarify some of this, as i said, this is now a contradictory, these are contradictory statements and i think that he should immediate low recuse himself from any of this. Okay, you get the picture . Immediately recuse or resign. Joining me with thoughts on all of this republican strategist Ford Oconnell and democratic strategist john rally. You heard karl rove say this is more political theater. Whats your thought on that . Is that whats behind this . This is a smoke screen for the democrats to hide true intentions which is to upend the Trump Presidency at every turn using all means necessary. Look they dont care about russian contacts, they care only because he won the election and had a good night on tuesday night and for nancy pelosi and Chuck Schumer to run out there and go berserk and say he committed perjury, should resign and barking up the wrong tree. Guess what . Theyre eating up the news cycle. Trish they are, trump is going to be speaking momentarily. Well be watching for that aboard the navy warship that he said he has full faith in Jeff Sessions. So hes standing behind him. You know, it seems to be a little issue of semantics as well here. You think back to the questioning that al franken did with Jeff Sessions, mr. Rally. He said if there is evidence that affiliates the Trump Campaign with russia, if they communicated, what would you do . He said, look, im not aware of anything like that, he said ive been called a surrogate a time or two and have not had communications with the russians. What he seems to have meant is didnt have Political Communications with the russians. Obviously, as a member of the Armed Services committee, have you meetings, do you not, john, with ambassadors from many Different Countries, including russia. Listen to the tape. This is a skilled lawyer after years, he totally misled the Senate Committee and the slaw pretty clear trish by the way, this is donald trump that the viewer is looking at. Hes shaking hands as he makes his way through, over to the podium there. Were going to be take his speech live as soon as that gins. Lets continue to stay on this picture. Well, it looks like he might speak quite soon here. Well watch for this. Certainly a big news day here, hes coming off an incredible, incredible speech, and you got to wonder about the timing of this story regarding Jeff Sessions, given the success that he saw there with that speech and the momentum behind him, the media even saying how wonderful it all was. John, back to you as we wait for the president , to talk about the importance of defense spending and get back to this issue. Youre saying Jeff Sessions is a skilled lawyer and knew wh he was doingnd answered it in such a way. Id argue if hes such a skilled lawyer, he would have added the word Political Communications in there. Thats why its clear that he was lying, and doesnt matter what day it happened, it is a blockbuster of news that the sitting attorney general has essentially lied. John, he didnt lie. Im a lawyer. Listen to the tape. He did not lie. He said to the Senate Committee. Wait a minute. Listen to the tape. Go ahead, ford. We did listen to the tape. He said he never met with russian officials to discuss issues of the campaign. Thats not what he said. Yes, he did. That is part of the testimony. That is absolutely part of the testimony. That is not true. He did not clarify that. Yes, he did. Trish let me jump in. This was within the context of the campaign. The question was about contacts between the campaign and the russians and you can see through this question that that was the motivation behind it. Right. Trish so Jeff Sessions answers it saying, no, he hasnt been doing that. Now we just learned, he one had, one meeting quite impromptu at the heritage foundation, he went and spoke and bunch of other people and said hi. That doesnt qualify. He had either meeting in his office. Thats a big admission. Trish hes doing his job, right . If he serves the committee and doesnt meet the ambassadors. Not only is he doing his job, he met with 30 ambassadors from april to november of 2016. If i was going to pull off something sinister and clandestine, why would i meet with the russians in my own office . Good point. You want to be open about it and not have it on the staff calendar . For hundreds of years, american leaders of all parties have come together especially when it came to foreign policy. I think its time to put the country ahead of your party. Were seeing this to some degree in terms of what lindsey graham, john mccain, michael painter, george w. Bushs ethics person came out and said this is the sort of thing that sends to you jail. Not to mention darrell issa is calling for an investigation. Trish youre getting your head in the sand whoa, whoa, whoa, right now, we dont know anything. Exactly. Trish all we know is that he met with the Russian Ambassador, which by the way, in that capacity, you meet with several ambassadors. Thats all we know. He said on the record that he had no conversations about the Trump Campaign with the Russian Ambassador. Now, if it turns out he did, if it turns out that there were people that were, you know, actively trying to recruit the russians to help in the campaign, you got yourself a whole other story, but we dont have that yet. Exactly. Trish i would argue its fairly dangerous. Absolutely. If the fbi finds that out to be the case. Attorney general Jeff Sessions should recuse himself. Let me Say Something to the republicans who need to see the Bigger Picture and understand the political games that the democrats are trying to play here. Democrats and republicans. Hold the line, let me tell you something, this is purely a political game. When you give in on the news. When you give a democrat an inch, theyre going to take a mile. They dont care about the russians, dont care about anything, they want trump out period. Ive got a message for everybody. Lets put country ahead of everybody. You are not putting country ahead, john. Trish listen, john, i guess whats sad about this is it feels there are democrats out there that are wishing that this is true. They want this to be true. They want to find some kind of smoking gun that somehow links donald trump and his campaign to the russians. You know, in a way that i dont think is very healthy for this country right now. He is the new president of the United States, someone who deserves a little respect and a chance. Here he is speaking there in newport news, virginia. Hes going to talk about the importance of defense spending. Lets listen in. [cheers and applause] thank you. Thank you very much. What an honor. They just gave me this beautiful jacket. They said, here, mr. President , please take this home. I said let me wear it, and then they gave me the beautiful hat, and i said, you know, we have a great make America Great again hat but this is a day. Im wearing this. I have no idea how it looks. I think it looks good. This is a great looking hat. Just like this is great looking ship. Thank you, im privileged to be standing today with the incredible men and women of the United States navy. [cheers] american sailors are the best warfighting sailors anywhere in the world, and its not even close, and susan, i am so glad you could be with us. I know how hard you work, 17 visits and she wanted things done right. I will tell you. They will tell you, she wanted this done right in honor of both of her parents were great, great people. And i wanted to be here, i wanted to be with you. So susan and your family, unbelievable job. Unbelievable. [cheers and applause] the soontobe commissioned gerald r. Ford, u. S. S. , what a place. It feels like a place. You stand on that deck, and you feel like youre standing on a very big piece of land. But this is better than land. Not only be a great symbol of american strength but a great legacy for your father and our former president , gerald ford. President ford was a navy man. By the way, he was also a great athlete. For those of you that didnt know. He saw action in the South Pacific during world war ii. He served this country with honor and the military and congress and in the white house. The proud dignity of this ship is a fitting tribute to gerald ford, the man and the president. Congratulations to all of the men and women who helped build it. This is american craftsmanship at its biggest, at its best, at its finest. American workers are the greatest anywhere in the world. This warship and all who serve on it should be a source of shared pride for our nation. Were joined today Better Believe it, right . Better believe it. [cheers and applause] Better Believe it. And by the way, were going to soon have more coming. [cheers] we are joined today by general mattis, now secretary mattis. [cheers] where is he . [applause] who will be charged with overseeing this great rebuilding of our military might. We will give the men and women of americas Armed Services the resources you need to keep us safe. We will have the finest equipment in the world, planes, ships and everything else. We are going to have very soon the finest equipment in the world. [cheers and applause] we will give our military the tools you need to prevent war, and if required, to fight war and only do one thing. You know what that is . Win win [cheers] were going to start winning again. Admiral john richardson, chief of naval operations, is with us today as well. Great gentleman. Admiral, were going to ensure our navy has the resources, personnel training and equipment, the kind of equipment that you need. So congratulations, admiral, and a lot more is coming. [cheers and applause] let me congratulate captain richard mccormick, Commanding Officer of the gerald r. Ford. This ship will make an extraordinary addition to the flee. Like no other. Like no other. Anywhere in the world. Theres nothing like this. It represents the future of naval aviation. I have no greater privilege than to serve as your commander in chief, and the commander in chief of the men and women of the United States military. Great people. Great, great people. [applause] i salute you, and i salute our sailors. I will always support you and your mission. I will never, ever let you down, and i also have to recognize mike petters, president and ceo of Huntington Ingalls industries, along with matt mullharen, president of newport news shipbuilding. They wont let you down either. Theyre not going to let you down either. [applause] to those who serve our nation in uniform and to those who build the instruments of our defense, i thank you on behalf of our nation. Usa i agree, i agree. [laughter] our carriers are the centerpiece of American Military might overseas. We are standing today on 4 1 2 acres of combat power and sovereign usterrito. S. Territor likes of which there is nothing to compete. There is no competition to this ship. It is a monument to american might that will provide the strength necessary to ensure peace. This ship will carry 4,500 personnel and 70 aircraft, and will be a vital component of our defense. This carrier and the new ships in the ford class will expand the ability of our nation to carry out Vital Missions on the oceans to project American Power in distant lands. Hopefully its power we dont have to use. But if we do, theyre in big, big trouble. [cheers] this great Aircraft Carrier provides essential capabilities to keep us safe from terrorism and take the fight to the enemy for many years in the future. The great admiral nimitz who commanded the u. S. Pacific fleet through the Second World War once said it is the function of the navy to carry the navy to the enemy so it will not be fought on u. S. Soil. True. [applause] and it was under admiral nimitz command, 75 years ago this june, that the navy did just that. At the battle of midway. Youve all known about the battle of mid way, where the sailors of the u. S. Navy fought with the bravery that will be remembered throughout the ages. Storied bravery, throughout the ages. The backbone of the American Fleet at midway was three beautiful Aircraft Carriers. The york town, the enterprise and the hornet. All three were built with american hands right here at the newport news shipyard. [cheers and applause] at midway, america was greatly outnumbered by, i means, a lot. And its fleet badly damaged but the heroic deeds changed the course of history. Many brave americans died that day and through their sacrifice, they turned the tide of the pacific war. It was a tough tide. It was a big tide, it was a vicious tide and they turned it. Countless other americans in that war, some of them parents and grandparents, the people in this room today, came home, thanks to their very heroic deeds. The sailors at midway are part of a long line of american heroes, an unbroken chain of patriots from each generation to the next, who trohs defend our flag and our freedom. That legacy continues today as american warriors protect our people from the threat of terrorism. On tuesday, in my address to a joint session of congress. I asked congress to eliminate the defense sequester and to support my request for a great rebuilding of the United States military and the United States navy. [cheers and applause] after years of endless budget cuts that have impaired our defenses i am calling for one of the largest defense spending increases in history. And by eliminating the sequester and the uncertainty it creates, we will make it easier for the navy to plan for the future and, thus, to control costs and get the best deals for the taxpayer which, of course, is very important, right . Got to get a good deal. We dont make a good deal, were not doing our job. The same boat for less money. The same ship for less money. The same airplanes for less money. Thats what were doing. Thats what were doing. Means were going to get more of them, and we can use them. Our military requires sustained, Stable Funding to meet the growing needs placed in our defense. Right now our aging front lines strike and strike fighters, a whole aircraft, many, many aircraft, are often more likely to be down for maintenance than they are to be up in the sky. Our navy is now the smallest its been since believe it or not, world war i. Dont worry, going to soon be the largest its been. Dont worry. [cheers and applause] think of that. Think of that. In these troubled times, our navy is the smallest its been since world war i. Thats a long time ago. In fact, i just spoke with navy and Industry Leaders and have discussed my plans to undertake a major expansion of our entire navy fleet, including having the 12 carrier navy we need. [cheers and applause] we also need more aircraft, modernized capabilities and greater force levels. Additionally we must vastly improve our cybercapabilities. This great rebuilding effort will create many jobs in virginia and also across america, and will also spur new technology and new innovation. America has always been the country that boldly leaves the world into the future, and my budget will ensure we do so and continue to do exactly that. American ships will sail the seas. American planes will soar the skies. American workers will build our fleets. [cheers and applause] and americas military will ensure that even though the darkest nights and throughout, a bright and glowing sun will always shine on our nation and on our people, our navy is great. Our navy is great. Our people are great. Great. [applause] our republic will meet any challenge, defeat any danger, face any threat, and always seek true and lasting peace. May god bless our military, may god bless our navy, may god bless the wonderful gerald ford family, and may god continue to bless the United States of america. Thank you very much. [cheers and applause]. Trish very patriotic speech there from donald trump, talking about the needs for greater spending on our military. He has proposed a 54 billion increase in defense spending. He made the point there that our navy is the smallest it has been since world war ii. Pretty remarkable, when you think of all that our nation is up against right now. Hes speaking there on the Aircraft Carrier, u. S. S. Gerald r. Ford in newport news, virginia. I imagine a lot of the sailors liked what they heard. Republican strategist Ford Oconnell and democratic strategist john rally are still with me as we watch donald trump working the crowd on his way out there. You know, i guess perhaps one of the hardest things for military members and their families has been just sort of the perception of disdain that you got from the white house during the obama years in that he really wanted to shrink the military and make us less active throughout the world. Now youre seeing the antthesis with this president going aboard a navy carrier ship to talk about why we need more of these people, these sailors, why we need more equipment, why we need to provide our military with the very best resources possible. What a difference in tone, ford . Absolutely. Let me say this. When you say that president obama had disdain for the military when it came to spending, youre absolutely right. When he began, we spent 4. 6 of gdp on the military. When he left office, that was down to 3. 2. To put that in contrast at the height of the cold war with john kennedy, we spent 10 of gdp on the military. The idea is peace through strength. Such a Strong Military that were going to avoid war at all costs, everyone else is afraid of us. Trish john, whats wrong with that . Not the 60s or 70s or the cold war is part of it. Thats a speech according to you guys with respect to russian hacking. Let me finish, you had your chance. That was valentine to defense industry. I didnt hear a word about Veterans Health care, the va, military families. Trish he talked about a lot of that. John, give the guy cut him a little slack. One thing at a time. He has talked about the trend, he has talked about military families. Remember the speech where he made the tribute to ryan owens and his widow was there. Ships, something from the 19 trish you need them, you need them and you need intelligence that the military can provide as well. Didnt talk about that. Trish and you need resources, you need resources. So hes talking about by the way, not even bringing it back to where it was. Not much about the veterans and people in uniform, really. Trish we have heard a lot about that. Part of what you need do as president is figure out what your message is on a daily message. And figure out where hes getting all the money for this. Where is all the money going to come from . Point about veterans is absolutely right. Weve had the issue for 30 years. Donald trump is going to try to make headway. In my opinion, probably the biggest mess in washington, d. C. When it comes to our aircraft and providing our sailors and airmen with everything you need. Fox news has been doing reports over and over under bret baier about the military having to cannibalize boneyards to put parts in planes. I dont know about you, i dont want to be a naval aviator and find my plane is falling out of the sky because we didnt give our troops what they need. Trish we do, there is a certain level of basics that we need to be providing and to have cut military spending as much as we have at a time when our position has become so increasingly precarious in the world, it doesnt make sense. I hear you john, on the money, i get that 54 billion is not going to materialize out of thin air and got to make cuts in other areas. This is where hes going to run into trouble. I agree. Nobody wants to see their department cut. I have a feeling that the well, you look at some of those departments and theyre going to look at transportation bill. Trish do a whole lot more with less. Go ahead. Hes pushing a trillion dollars transportation bill and the big, big quote, unquote tax cut. Money doesnt add up. So is he going to raise taxes on somebody . Hes just living in the era. I think he made it clear hes not. He said that over and over again. By the way, let me point out, steve mnuchin, our treasury secretary telling our very own neil cavuto that the tax cuts are happening, theyre happening in august, they expect it to be signed, sealed and delivered. You had a market that rallied more than 300 points on the news combined with the speech the night before. Were headed to a 40 trillion debt. Trish increasing taxes, i dont think thats going to flight. He made a promise on lower taxes. This is sort of an econ101 issue, right . You want to grow the economy, but in order to grow the economy, you need policies in place that put more money in the hands of the people that are making it, and more money frankly in the hands of the companies that are making it as well, and so you need tax policies that will enable growth and hopefully once you get that growth, youre going to have a bigger overall tax revenue base, ford. Thats absolutely right. The idea is were going to pay a lot through growth. And to john, to your point on the trillion dollar infrastructure investment. Hes talking about a hybrid publicprivate partnership. I agree with john, i cant believe im going to say this. When it comes to the budget, donald trump is threading a narrow needle, but you want to know what . Thats what we need to do. Company stock is trading higher after opening at 24 per share making cofounders evan spiegel and bobby murphy instant billionaires, both men will hold complete voting control over snap and maintain leadership positions within the company. Spiegel is expected to stay on as ceo and murphy as chief technology adviser. But are these guys really ready to lead a multibillion Dollar Public Company . Joining me is bullseye brief founder and eric schiffer, good to see you guys. Talk about the stock first, adam. Kind of expensive . O, yeah. This is extremely expensive. Trading at 30 times sales. For a little perspective, facebook trades at 10 times sales, twitter five times sales. This is way more expensive but growing at 600 . The same time next year, trading at half the price of facebook, and thats the deal. Its just growing so fast. Trish you got to buy into the growth, you cant think there is an upstart thats going to replace it. Think about facebook, wasnt the original myspace and diminished by facebook . Is there anything on the horizon, eric that would give you pause . Are there competitors to snap that were not thinking of right now . Theyre changing the way we communicate. You have to buy into the notion, eric. Trish the different way of communicate, its amazing to me, i was talking to members of the intel team that do use, it actively use it. You bother to take a picture, dont up to the keep it . No. Its a totally different waive thinking which is really revolutionary in and of itself. And you got to give the founders credit for that, eric . I give them credit. I give them credit for coming up with the idea, but the reality is that idea has been taken, its been taken by the biggest platform in the world and, you know, your guest talks about spectacles which is this camera. I think spectacle is a spectacle, and the reality is millennials wouldnt wear this. They wouldnt wear it at one of the raves because its not attractive. Its not good looking, maybe if tom ford begins to tie to it but they havent thought that way. You know something, eric . Really what this is, is a big Venture Capital fund now, and theyre in hopes of a new idea. Trish okay, were getting into other i have five seconds left.
