Parents out there who has a student going into their fresh man year this year, you need to know this. Only 39 of fresh mans will graduate this year. Then you see a lot of youngsters and adults taking psych properric medications to heal their problems. And sometimes its actually making them worse. Deirdre if you feel like your child suffers from anxiety and the dr doctor recommends the medicines take the time to do the research to see if its the right match. If someone is suffering from anxiety or depression, the first thing a parent thinks of is let me put them on medication. These medications are just taking away symptoms and numbing other times of feeling. Its not dealing with the reprogramming the mind piece of it. Its not dealing with the dramatic reactive responses people are having so it could make it worse. For women it seems Financial Stress is part of the picture. Definitely. I think women are probably under more stressors than ever. They are taking on more responsibility trying to figure out how to balance work and family life. You have divorced women and single women trying to figure out how to take care of their kids to make it all work. There is an epidemic with what i call the sugar mama syndrome.
