No. These are the people that opposed the administrations policies. I mean, i can put on my prosecutors hat and we can walkthrough pieces of the email and die sect it like so many people are doing, no, the short answer is no. The suggestions that the offer of information was something of value, thats those are laughable and no prosecutor, bob mueller is not going to prosecute Something Like that, i can guaranty you. We dont know, maybe he will find Something Else and im not going to sit here and tell you i know for a fact theres not something more serious here but all of the known stuff, kevin, is nothing. Well, you know, i wear several hats and one of them is still a lawyer and and i can promise you that if i was the president s lawyer or anybody in that group, i would be pulling my hair out because they dont do a very good job of delivering the facts, they leak they come out they drip, drip, drip, they are not quite accurate and it just fuels the speculation thats out there. So it would be better if they would listen to their lawyers a little bit because those things are, if not, interesting to prosecutor they are at least annoying and probably draw more attention there to. Nice to be here. Dagen whats going to come out of the opec meeting, you said a compliance meeting . Probably not much. Procedural meeting and escape their countries and i think they are going to try to get nigeria and libya to agree to some caps. Those two were exempted when they had the original opec agreement that was carved out last december. The likelihood of those two countries agree to go cap production is pretty much close to zero and it doesnt appear as though the russians and the saudis want to cut further, so we are going to be looking at a period of very Weak Oil Prices or about as weak as theyve been. Probably into 2018 and i would not be surprised to see 2018 prices be lower than 2017. Dagen where do you expect them to be next year . You know, i think we are in a longrange between 40 and 60. I think the short range is probably 42 to 47 or 48 for wti, its going to be difficult to get above that. Once you get around 50 you get a lot of folks that hedge and lock in some of the production and scooping the tack and some of the other u. S. Kevin one of the biggest threat it is market will see if saudis devalue currency because of the value of oil gets down and the dollar goes strong. Thats the biggest risk i see. Could that happen and is that a real possibility . Thats a risk. We have been talking about that risk for a while. You know, the saudis are looking at 2018 and the initial Public Offering of ramco which is going to be measured in trillions of dollars, so i would think that theyll do whatever it takes that thats successful Public Offering and that means not devaluing the currency, maybe they wont do that. Theyve already seated market share. They are going after market share in asia, but theyve seated market share mostly to United States and to canada and to libya and nigeria. Now, libya and nigeria can always fall off the map very quickly, probably as chaotic countries as you can find, canada is pretty solid and we dont have to worry about factions in alberta. You know what i find interesting is you see energy stock down 13 , oil prices down 15 , but the credit markets are really still open to these companies in the u. S. , what does that tell you about oil prices . You have Equity Companies to build new rigs. Probably people still have false expectation that is crude is going to go back to 60 to 80. Thats number one. Number two, theres a great, great distance between what some of the most efficient well capitalized countries can find oil for and have a breakeven number 25rbgs, 28, 30 a barrel. Now youll hear a lot of ceos say we need 56 or we need 70 or Something Like that but they might need that to pay alimony or something and along those lines. Its not necessarily part of the production costs and the costs are coming down not just in the shell but also in some of the big offshore projects. Dagen they can make money at 35 a barrel . Thirty dollars . It depends. It depends if you have a lot of high debt. Its going to take a lot f of money to service the debt. But a company like pioneer that doesnt have a lot of debt, has great acreage, i think they said recently in a statement they can make some money at 28. Dagen wow. Kevin export over a Million Barrels a day out of this country. The minute that happened, that completely opened up the market for frackers. Dagen the National Average is 2. 20 a gallon. You are see sub two dollars in how many states . 22 states and i think we will see in 35 or 40 states after labor day. Gasoline demand is really strong right now. 9. 7 or 9. 8 millionbarrels a day which is 400 million gallons a day but drops 6 or 7 after labor day so we will have real cheap gas in the fall. I mean, we really are. Dagen how cheap . Even in energy where our governor gave us a hefty gasoline tax in november, we will probably see less than 2 and most of the country with the exception of california and the west coast, will see this as well. Any time you try to put together a law like health care, health care no panacea there is no perfect plan, so lets lets put that right on the table right up front. Obamacare, is failing. The plan that is in front of the senate right now is not perfect, but it is better than what the existing plan is. So the republicans have got to get behind something soon and this is the best thing out there. The point of view cannot be defeat of the good that is what a lot of people are hoping for. And there is no perfect plan in health care. I dont care i studied it all different ways, there is no perfect plan. You got to move forward and when obamacare is failing they got to put something in place. And republicans are in charge. They got to get behind what is there, and move it forward get it ready for debate, and vote on it that is their responsibility what a they told voters of america, and they better stand up and do it. Governor do you see an issue happening here that given they didnt take back a lot of taxes they are taxing 3. 8 on investment. I dont like that. So i dont like it any of us. When a republican standing for object tax increases that is what is going on a, you need to rethink your party affiliation. So the question. You know yes, so i was going to say so question remains how can republicans push this plan through right now, with that . If they remove that the question how can they remove that still get this plan passed . I dont like it a lot of republicans dont, they said they were going to get rid of taxes, now they are keeping the object taxes in place. That just do you know whether or not make sense for republican to do that. But when you look at the evidence first off obamacare is failing. America needs some kind of health care law. But others will say, no, no, no, we have to show American People that we can pay for this going into elections in 2018. So that is a question i really dont think is settled at all, at this point. We have this Administration Come out saying they want to do it at 15 pass through Small Businesses what are you hearing from beltway. I we have heard 15, and i think that that is probably a little too low, i think you know, it seems hard they are getting all the way there, but remember Donald Trumps negotiating strategy he said in the past, i love to compromise, first of all you ask for three times what you want. And then, when you compromise you get what you want. So i think that maybe the 15 is a bigger ask than they will settle for. How are they going to lindsey, how are they going to negotiate number of things on table to a pay for this . You could there is Interest Deduction full expending capital one equipment things like that how does that offset what they get in the tax cut reduction. This is going to be something that the that hangs up on capitol hill also a hung up on capitol hill, many of us have been reminded that we havent had a major tax reform revisions since 1986 talking 30 plus years and the reason that hasnt happened, is because it is so difficult this is going to be in the weeds of all time. So i dont exactly know how they are going to do this they dont either. But it is important to say about republicans we have heard them talking about obamacare for years and years. But when they controlled house and senate, even when president obama was president they couldnt agree on tax reform plans then. So it is probably not likely they are going to agree easily on tax reform plans now. Byron i got to ask looking at this it seems like the republicans cant get anything done, it seems like there is gridlock it seems like things have never been worse in washington than they are today. Looking back over time do you think that is really true or is that just a perception because so the environment is so antagonistic so much namecalling so much vitriol.
