If youre going to subsidize College Education to that and you are pushing people, skyrocketing costs, and internal inconsistency. It might be a reluctant or uncomfortable support but at the end of the day the vast majority of bible believing christians are evangelicals will support the candidacy of donald trump because Hillary Clinton supports planned parenthood. Recently she talked about how in the ninth month the child does not have any rights whatsoever and something clear out of the Clinton Campaign regarding protecting religious liberty. For people of faith it is a nobrainer which candidate, you may not agree how he delivers his message but it is quite clear donald trump believes in the faith of the god of abraham, isaac and jacob. An attack on one faith is an attack on all faiths. There is a federal rule the churches and other organizations cannot be involved in electoral politics and trump mentioned this yesterday and that he is interested in repealing that rule to give churches their power back. What do you think of that . How would that affect all churches and both parties . It is without question one of the greatest single attacks on religious liberty in this country when you think over 75 of americans consider themselves in some form or another christian. 50 million americans consider themselves some form of christian but yet their leaders are unable, who they believe is the candidate is closer to our religious beliefs as possible so it is without question a direct attack on our faith. Donald trump understands that, you would be the largest Lobbyist Group in america and if we could get that amendment removed, a lot of issues we hold dear, like the sanctity of marriage, a lot of these things would not be able to pass but they are passing. Are people excited, to go out and support donald trump, and in the poll members on election day . The word excitement would be in my opinion respectfully a bit of a hyperbole and a stretch. We are not in kansas anymore. This is not your typical election. You have pastors and leaders saying we care about the christian worldview and religious liberty. Until yesterday, i had a senator proposing punishing Christian Schools for not embracing a Progressive Agenda stemming out of the marriage in california. Religious liberty is at stake. Pastors are reluctantly saying we will choose between these two individuals, they are very flawed in different aspects and dimensions. What do we do . Which one will protect religious liberty . Maria another issue of concern for voters is terrorism especially has more soft targets came under attack, and ramping up security. What should churchgoers be thinking about National Security with the most important issues . We want churchgoers to not be fearful. God did not give us the spirit of fear. Dont be fearful but at the same time be vigilant. I understand in other churches across this country already have security in place, already have what took place in charleston, South Carolina and without a doubt a terrorist attack in american soil. 9 people were killed in a church. The smallest churches of the progressive churches in america. You want to be vigilant and wise, to have people in place to make sure something that looks odd, have some things in place to make sure your parishioners will be safe and you can worship your god in freedom and liberty. The Johnson Amendment is in the tax code. It doesnt say a preacher from the pulpit cant express their opinion. It so the Church Organization cannot give money and retain its taxexempt status. Usually the president ial candidate will have their own field offices but in this cycle because trump any further had a conventional campaign its actually the rnc and the rnc Victory Program thats taking the lead with the finance team all around the country. They are actually taking the lead with the battle states. Those offices have been open for years. Actually the field on the situation on the ground is much its much more positive than betsie, that characterization. Harlan is that because they thought he was incapable of building it . Trump is right when he says this is a movement. Thisthisthis is unorthodox. Usually president ial campaigns are massive organizations that get bigger and bigger as the months go on. He got the votes than ever but had the smallest team. In asia, weak data as china was not a major concern for investors. The market was up 1 and 2 3 . Stocks across the board. Nikkei average in japan up as the japanese yen moved lower. Its right in line unchanged right in line with expectations, and the number is just hitting the wires right now, july sales for the retail segments unchanged. We are looking at the market reverse course having said that, and trade lower. Retail sales for the month of july unchanged, and you see the futures right now indicating weakness at the start of trading. No big news here, jack. Disappointment. And thats not good. Youve got to break it down. Its a weird number because it includes gasoline sales, so as gasoline prices go up, it could look like a big number when its negative for retail. You want to look at online versus brick and mortar. We know brick and mortar is hurting. Maria disappointing report because we were expecting a gain here and we see the consumer not doing much, morgan. I think theres going to be a lot of paralysis. If you go with Hillary Clinton, if she becomes the president. Businesses will have more regulation and taxes. And trump, uncertainty about some of his policies. He laid out a clear tax plan. And theres the markets between now and november as we try to understand whats happening. One thing i havent had answered yet. Is this economy on a solid footing . I look at the european banks in germany and italy and there could be catalysts out there that turn the market much lower. Were at alltime highs. Are we on a solid footing . I dont know. If its slow growth, we can hope that its steady. Obviously, its very slow. Steady at 1 though . Well, its the we have an interesting column in tomorrows barons. Its the fourth longest expansion in history. Were closing in, it will be the third longest soon. The growth before, in the previous decade was actually not much better. It was 2. 5 if you ignore the crisis. If you include the crisis, it was 1. 6 during the bush term. This is normal . Hillary wants the socalled rich to pay what she calls their fair share, this would amount to a mandated tax rate of at least 30 . For anyone earning 1 million a year or more. Lets say its one of our viewers is making 190,000. 190, anything over 190,000 theyre going to pay a 33 federal tax rate on that, robert. Okay . When you add 10 state tax, that puts you to 43 and another 7 because of obamacare and city tax, youre talking about a 50 tax rate on somebody making 190,000, robert. How is that going to move the needle on Economic Growth . Please explain. Yeah, well, good question, im not sure what youre looking at or what youre referencing. Maria its at the Tax Foundation. The Tax Foundation, were going through the eight brackets she has. Okay, well. Well, im not sure who the Tax Foundation is, because theres other foundations that have trumps plan adding somewhere around 2 1 2 trillion to the deficit, loosing three and a half million jobs, her plan gains 10 million jobs. As far as those who are being taxed, the disproportion as you know is following her view of the buffett plan, a minimum 28 tax for those over a million of income. Over a million of income is like less than, you know, half of 1 10 of a percent in this country. With respect to those outside of thats why i brought up the 190,000. 250,000 no, well, thats just for various expenditures and rightoffs. That theyre going to be changing. But it really is the disproportionate focusing on what was deemed great economics called trickle down theory which just didnt work. Her middle income increases in wages is right now night and days better than Donald Trumps. I mean, she has like 38 policies to look at. He has six of which one of them is lets build a wall. I mean, lets if were talking depth and breadth and this is a business show, hers joins 10 million. And the cbo, and as well says his adds 2 1 2 trillion to the deficit. Hers adds 250 billion. The only positive on both, they both at least talk infrastructure. One has a Real Infrastructure plan. The other has no plan, he talks about how bad our bridges and roads are. Maria lets talk about the infrastructure. And have a real discussion of policies. Maria we have this graphic. Im sorry, go ahead, i cant see you, sorry. Maria i know. We have this graphic from the Tax Foundation. Org. So i would tell our viewers to go to Tax Foundation. Org to check out both the candidates plans. You dont have it in front of you. You know the infrastructure plans very well. Connect the dots for us and tell us how you believe these jobs, infrastructure, will in fact materialize. Great. Thank you for asking, maria. Maria of course. Listen, when we think of infrastructure, unfortunately, everyone thinks about roads and bridges. It is a lot more than that. It includes social infrastructure, things like schools, okay, and hospitals, putting in wifi, things like next generation gps for our airlines, okay . Putting fiber, laying it down in rural areas. So they can get the right wifi and telecommunications capability. Its talking about next, you know, National Electric grid where we can use wind and solar and not only be looking at natural gas and oil. So, theres a whole group of things that she includes on an infrastructure plan. Hers is about 275 billion. It focuses on publicprivate partnerships and there would be a National Infrastructure bank. Were the only developed country without a National Infrastructure bank. So government and government and building another fannie and freddie. This is mandated based on National Infrastructure and publicprivate partnerships. The trump plan is much different. Its, i think, 500 billion if im not mistake and there are no policies and he doesnt say anything where its coming from or how its doing. The secretary goes through where its coming from. Which is why her deficit is only 250 billion and his deficit a north of 2 1 2 trillion. Maria here is candidates trump story about that, go ahead, howard. How is that possible . Shes talking about giving, you know, universal College Education, you know, 120 something billion dollars in Infrastructure Spending. How is it possible that she only adds 250 billion dollars to the debt . And the numbers just dont add up. One raising taxes. Okay. But two go ahead. You want me to speak . I dont know, i cant hear you. Yes. Are you there . Okay. So, one, its not as if, at thats pay for all of the spendi spending. We should be clear on that. Taxes pay for a port. Theyll look at advanced manufacturing as a way to boom this country and look at tax credits and loopholes. Listen, at the end of the day if you say we want taxes to be at 25 and youve got every politician in a line to have an up and down vote on every port, trust me we could get taxes lower, but theres going to be some aspects where theyre going to have to work with congress to reduce these loopholes. I didnt put these models in. This is the cbo and fix the debt. Thats an independent budget group that put the models in. This isnt robert wolf talking, these are real models. I dont run the models, and someone who runs the models did it one says 250 billion of debt deficit increase and one is 2 1 2 trillion and we should know before trumps last, okay, speech they thought it was 11 trillion, so maria and i have talked about youre right. He changed, now hes at 2 1 2 trillion. Maria he raised the highest to 33 and thats what brought him down to 2 1 2 trillion dollars in costs, versus an earlier, much steeper i want to make clear, this is not about where taxes is paying, okay, for this growth plan. I saw you detail those numbers, maria, i thought you did a great job on that, because thats bringing to light the fact that if youre making good money, pretty good money, 200,000 bucks a year, in many states, youll lose half of it to the federal government, to the State Government and the city government.
