Rich edson, we have flown him all the way to chattanooga, tennessee. I dow the fine folks there will understand a word that you say, rich. Rich they are picking up on the accent. Looking at this movement that pushed against the effort to organize workers here at the volkswagen plant, the uaw was granted somewhat unusual access. Almost a partnership with volkswagen. There was an expedited election. They are saying that this is a big failure. This all continues. It has been the first bite. One employee says he does not want this town to become detroit. Who is growing. Who is moving forward. Look at detroit. Look at city blocks of empty houses. What is the common denominator . The uaw. One possible other chapter this past election. It could be a point of contention. The uaw said there is influence from outside. Theyre basically saying that volkswagen would decide to build another plant here if they rejected the uaw. The nlrb could decide to hold another election if they determined there was undue implements. Dagen volkswagen was extremely cooperative. This is an election that could have happened over 30 or 40 days. Almost agreed to expedite this process. Still, they fail to organize. Dagen thank you so much for that. Many are calling the uaw defeat a win for republicans. Wellbore jobs roll and because of it . It is great to see you. What does this one defeat due to the uaw . I think it is a setback for the labor union movement. I think that this is a vote for competitiveness. We want to be competitive. Chattanooga tennessee wants to be competitive with the rest of the world. Dagen i think his name was mike, very interesting that he pinpointed what happened to detroit. I wonder if people down south to look to the motor city and say, hey, the unions are to blame for that. I am not antiunion. These workers, however, said they do not want to organize right now. They want to maintain their ability to be flexible in the marketplace. They want to be at place where businesses are invited to comment without being saddled with a one size fits all uaw contract. I think this was a good move for the people of tennessee to make. It was also empowering to those states that want to be competitive in a track industry to come work. I think this is good all around. Dagen are you surprised that unions in the private sector have not gained more traction . Even with help from obama administration, right now they are pushing new rules that will expedite the unionization voting process. Are you surprised that unions have not gotten more traction in this kind of environment . I really am not surprised. There is not job growth. Most of the people are looking for job growth. They want to create economic opportunities. They want to lift their own lifestyle with having a good job. I am not surprised. On this day, president s day, i liked the fabric of america that says we have different states that have different rules that could be competitive in federalism. It also means states can be competitive to attract jobs and economic opportunity. I do not want to see a onesizefitsall blanket put over america. Dagen thank you. Good to see you. [ male annncer ] its how edward jones makes sense of investing. At the bottom of the hour, here is what is coming up on markets now. About 800 billion in Government Spending help or maybe hurt this economy . A possible warning sign for technology, a number of startups on the decline. I look at the reason behind this disturbing trend. And tesla doing more damage control after yet another fire. Five years ago today president obama signed in 800 billion the list in this law. The presence law to inject a huge amount of money into the economy still remains controversial. Again, the debate rages on. Peter barnes in the beltway for us. Republicans blacklisting was planned today as the stimulus that wasnt, democrats and the white house are radio silent. The stimulus plan wasted money and unnecessarily added to the national debt. The cbo added the National Cause was 830 billion, part of that was Companies Like solyndra which went bankrupt. The cbo also said it fell short of the job creation forecast of about 2. 5 job saver generated with 2. 3 million jobs, and not push the the Unemployment Rate down fast enough as this graphic from the white house predicted. It is a fiveYear Anniversary of the president s tiniest was bill that would get unemployment low 5 . And here we are with millions of people who have dropped out of the employment system, finding ourselves less competitive globally, our deficits continue to be a real burden for the american people. The white house not respond to our request for comment and all of this, but in 2121 of the plans architects wrote it could have been more effective. Most obviously it was too small. Back to you. Dagen more issues coming out of sochi and the Winter Olympics as fog for system event to be postponed with some americans falling so far short of their metal aspirations. The country is left wondering why. Olympic analyst and former olympic snowboarder andy finch joins me now with his take from the games. I dont want to sound like a sourpuss, but if you look at the events that have delivered from the games so far, they have been disappointing. You want to start with shaun white. He did not even make the podium. What happened in speedskating. Do you feel that way being there covering it . Those are a bunch of topics i think all have Different Reasons why theyre coming together like this. It is pretty crazy, the u. S. Is usually so strong in the middle count. There is pretty good reasons for all of those, i feel like. Dagen there are, and we could talk a little bit about the speedskating suits, but lets go back to the weather. Talk about the fathe fog that sd in because at least the biathl biathlon, one of the boarding events was postponed until tomorrow. They were blown away at the weather we have had the past 10 to 12 days because we are looking more at the typical sochi weather for the month of february. It was incredibly foggy. I could barely see the bottom of the landing at the bottom of the border cross. Within a half hour we could not even see the finish line. It was incredibly thick fog, which makes it impossible for a writer to see and a bigger issue for the community, they cannot see the riders on camera. Dagen can be incredible dangerous. Talk about the snow conditions. The conditions in the half pipe when shaun white were competing, it was rough. The shape of the half pipe had to work on that and then churn at the bottom of the half pipe, but he also look at the snow in some of the alpine events in a downhill event and the like. How big of a problem has that been for our athletes . These conditions are actual actually, i really enjoy writing these kind of conditions, little softer, little slush year. But it makes it very challenging for someone designing a course to keep it firm for the downhill skiing and stuff they wanted solid and firm so it is consistent conditions throughout, same thing and a half pipe. You want the shape to hold up. My opinion they should have changed the format. It started out a decent shape, but it couldnt handle the amount of writing they were trying to get done. They knew it before ever reasons i decided not to change the format. Dagen coming away from this, obviously the games arent over yet, but who do you think is going to be the breakout star . Who cant love the guy. He is the man for the job. A lot came together being the first slopestyle event for snowboarding, kicking off the olympics, the weather and everything came together. It was perfect, first time we have seen style rewarded like that. It is a piece of work, i am ready to see that guy just exploded at a whole different level and im excited for that. Dagen i think we all are. He wants everybody to keep it. Dagen andy, thank you. Be well. Elon musk and investors dont seem to be troubled by it at all. There were three fires involving major accidents, just seeing if theres a problem there. They are a little bit more understandable. Another fire not too long ago as a result of a faulty home charger. The person who owned the car pulled into the garage and the fire alarm went off shortly after, he wasnt plugged in. They said it wasnt a battery pack or the onboard charging system but they are not sure what caused the fire. That is still being looked into. Coming up in the next hour of markets now. Good morning, good afternoon, everybody. Time to take you now through your headlines, the big below to big labor. Representing workers at a volkswagen plant in chattanooga, tennessee. Uaw membership down 75 , may not help matters much. What of the future of unions in america, how do they survive, how do they thrive over the next decade or at all . Lets take it to our panel. They are already laughing at me. Joining us from the Economic Policy institute coming out of cincinnati. You have been talking about this morning on varney company. As with a big boost republicans in the state, but doesnt vw deserve the credit for keeping the union out of their plan . Charles not really. They expressed remorse for this. They said works, during the economic downturn, having unions are these Works Councils actually help them survive it, so they were prounion on the surface. Another reason a week ago if you were to take the odds, a lot of people talk the unions might win this one. They say we could do more production out of the system. You joked how we have spent the morning together, but we had come to spend Marsha Blackburn on this morning, she was basically saying at the end of all of this the workers at this particular plant wanted to be in scented to do well and get rewarded for it and did not believe the uaw would be accurately representing them or would win the fight in that for them. This could be a blueprint of what is to come. Cheryl it is unions in detroit that took a lot of the blame for what happened in particular with gm and chrysler. It is very unique in that you had not the company, but outside special Interest Groups as well as politicians who are urging and coordinating to see that this vote be defeated. That was incredible that outside corporate interests associated with the actual industry trying to block the union from coming. Im not surprised at all. Charles th uaw is an outside interests. There representing workers. It is Grover Norquist for the brothers or worker represent in this particular issue . They want to have workers at the table. The only way they can do that under u. S. Law is to unionize, so what you had with outside forces trying to prevent that from happening. Cheryl if you look at the history and a brothers up at the top of the show, Union Memberships for her thousand now, 75 for uaw uaw memberships. Many businesses will say the unions are killing me. Is this good for business . I think you what happened with the uaw even though it was 86 votes, it was actually disheartening because the uaw has a making a push to get particularly in the Southern States and this was a vote. You dont need outside interest. Workers voted their pocketbook. They dont need outside help, they need jobs and made the right decision. We didnt have any effect, they wouldnt have done it. Clearly that had a huge impact on this vote. I look at if this way. If you have uaw trying to pop the way to Union Representation and every factory the matter if it is cars or any other type of production, they lost and they have to regroup and refine their message. If theyr they are happy with te status quo, great. The workers made the choice, not any outside entity. Lets not mistake the vote for people saying they are happy. They say they do want to organize these councils if they can figure out a way to do it under the law. This was a repudiation of the uaw, not organizing and click delete bargaining. Charles it is in the last 20, 30 years has been a repudiation of unions in this country. On that when i think youre absolutely wrong. The unions need to figure this out. They lost another would be battle i think it was amazon or google. Not too long ago, maybe 1500 workers potentially could have gotten unionized, there was a clause. They actually entered into this agreement even before the vote including neutrality kind of clause which meant the workers will never make too much money or more money than the big three automakers in detroit. That is what got unions in trouble in the first place. Cheryl on to our next topic. Another storm is headed to the northeast, this winter has many pointing the finger of blame at Climate Change. John kerry calling it a weapon of mass destruction. And sparring with scientist over the threat. Heres what she had to say when she joined charles on the show this morning. Even Gina Mccarthy has said if she achieved all of her 26 goals g come it would not have n impact on climate globally because the other countries are not going to do anything. Cheryl did you agree with her . Charles i did. Some of the greatest mathematicians and scientists throughout history believe the eartearth was a center of the universe and the su son and the planets revolve around us. We keep hearing this was conclusive, theres no more debate. In the state of the union this is the way it is and all scientists agreee it is still a hypothesis. Even if it were real, manmade Climate Change, higher taxes is the answer . Cheryl they are all because of Climate Change. This is basically a weapon of mass destruction that we are ignoring. We talked about Climate Change you and i especially for years now. This didnt go away. Even if you dont accept extreme weather that we are experiencing as a result of changes in the climate, edited a bait we dont need to have. Where are the opportunities for growth in various sectors of the u. S. Economy, they are in dealing with Climate Change, global energy, et cetera. This is just a debate and only pieces the democratic base, does not going to work. Your credit india as well. We had to get to our third topic, everyone. Under armour under fire with speed skaters blaming the companys uniforms for their poor performance. Team usa switch back to their old uniforms and they still lost. The just a scapegoat for the teams disappointing performance . I feel very passionate because i have played sports a very high level, division i track and field. I would eat the same thing before every single race and i swear if i had a bad race i look back and there must have been something wrong with the bread. I can understand the way they are feeling by truly believed may have just had a bad race. I feel bad for under armour. Cheryl they went after under armour when there are other factors here. They trained in italy in a different elevation and frankly maybe the other athletes, the dutch, were just better. Charles sometimes you have to deal with that. It is a game of fractions. It is not becoming. It was not the uniforms, we just did not live up to our potential. T there have been 24 speed skating races in sochi. The dutch have won 24 medals awarded in speed skating. It is clearly they are better. It is probably not our suit and probably not even our training. The world has just over past us. We thought after 2010 we were going to be the kings of speed skating and it turns out we stood still and the rest of the world left forward. It took a bath on this what happened. I really think the real problem is is probably paying us back. Something is going on. Never the performance. Cheryl it wasnt me. Guys, thank you so much. Forget about apple tv. The there blessing as the stimulus that wasnt. Democrats and the white house are not talking at least not yet. Recovery act wasted money and unnecessarily added to the national debt. The cbos of the actual cost was 830 billion for one thing. Some of that money went to Companies Like solyndra which went bankrupt costing taxpayers 535 million. Also said the plan fell short of the job creation goal of 3. 5 million jobs saved or created as many as 3. 1 million jobs. His servant did not push and implement rate down to 5 by the end of 2013 as this famous graphic from the white house predicted. The actions this administration have taken have not been something that has yielded more job growth and greater income for the american worker. The white house to not respond to the request for comment, but time is in reports online the administration will release a report this week that will say the recovery act boosted gdp by roughly two to two and half Percentage Points from late 2009 through may 2011 which obviously will have traded a lot of jobs. Cheryl, back to you. Cheryl there is your real debate. Thank you. You bet. Cheryl the outlook for 2014 and the keyword and a result is optimistic. Joining me now is the ceo and president s of prudential real estate. One of the things a builders have been telling us for quite some time is the builders are having trouble getting financing, but the results you have here in front of me are incredibly optimistic an the 57 of respondents think the overall market is going to be good this year. Where do you think that comes from . Thank you for the opportunity. All this is an opportunity of a timeframe the gone through. A lot of very positive move about the market. The issue for the builders is a lot about whether or not they can find capital to continue to build and secondly the other issue is can they find Skilled Labor to . Cheryl the other thing that was frankly eyeopening was millennials are key drivers in the market. How is that when we have been seeing report after report millennials dont have jobs, loaded up with student debt and a lot of them are living at home. How can they be so positive in this survey . And our particular survey it was individuals who either had purchased or were intending to purchase. The folks we targeted obviously witwere those that were also employed. On an overall basis, one else have an extremely optimistic perspective regarding real estate. Something we really did not expect, this is not the first time we have seen this. We have had this fact rocher over the last several surveys which are going back three or four quarters. A lot of it has to do with the fact that they are now entering a time in our lives there starting a family, those employed are working toward a job field. Cheryl many buyers come as a survey of those looking to buy, had bought, were in the market, there were some big challenges in 2013. The debt ceiling debate, you can say the weather has played a very dark picture over the Real Estate Market especially, but those challenges didnt seem to affect optimism. That surprises me, why . I think a lot of purchasers are individuals looking to go into Real Estate Market, what is driving that intensity like event. They had gotten married, they are about ready to have a family, they are getting relocated. Life events continue to drive many of the activities as they relate to real estate. Not withstanding, number the negative perspectives that we have gone through over the last several quarters. Cheryl were going to see Interest Rates go up. I want your outlook for the next few months. If Interest Rates go up with a tapering continuing from the fed, how are the agents feeling right now considering there may be a lot fewer buyers the market because they will be priced out of the market . Clearly we see the rate on an upward trend. This sort of a factual statement the rates are moving up. The other had a 1 increase reduces the average purchasers purchasing power by about 10 . Im not certain ar there getting priced out of the marketplace. The other thing i would say to you, obviously home prices are driven by how Interest Rates or what Interest Rates are, real estate is not recovering on an overall basis uniformly across this great country of ours, so a number of cities and a number of various issues, the numbers have not risen as dramatically and aafordably is still there. Cheryl thank you. Coming up tomorrow, where should you be looking to invest in real estate right now . The stress test is ongoing. We do think you will see a difference as far as how they hold up during this process. We do think that there are great opportunities in europe. Cheryl this is where we go into the formal part of your pics. You say it is not just about the 3d technology, but it is about the software that is a big interest to you. It created about 1. 6 million a year. One supporter says the plan worked. Without it we would have been dealing with 6 million fewer jobs in the economy which would have dramatically added to the Unemployment Rate. Without it, we would have had family seeing their income fall even further than they actually did. And unlike warfarin, with no regular blood tests or dietary restrictions. Hey thanks for calling my doctor. Sure. Pradaxa isot for people with artificial heart valves. Dont stop taking pradaxa without taing to your doctor. Stopping increases your risk of stroke. Ask your doctor if you need to stop pradaxa before surgery or a medical or dental procedure. Pradaxa can cause serious, sosometimes fatal, bleeding. Dont take pradaxa if you have abnormal bleeding or have had a heart valve replaced. Seek immediate medical care for unexpected signs of bleeding, like unusual bruisg. Pradaxa may increase your bleeding risk if youre 75 oolder, have a bleeding condition or stomach ulcer, take aspirin, nsaids, or blood thinners. What do you have for us today, charles . Charles i like boeing. Their guidance was a sliver, a sliver below wall street. They said next year they will deliver 725 planes. I think this was a 735. It went under 130. It is about 130 right now. I am a little worried about certain things. You talk about the next 20 years for these guys. The amount of money. In fact, last week they just said asiapacific alone will be 1. 9 trillion. Airbus has been eating their lunch. They have been doing really well. 82 market share. For the whole Global Market in 1995, boeing had 53 of the business. They have really fallen off bigtime. The stock was very resilient. Charles when you talk trillions and you divvy it up between two guys. Sandra that and it is still the airplane of the future. Boeing has that going for them. Charles i do like the stock. I do think that this pullback was an opportunity. Last month they lost a contract in brazil. It was because of an nsa scandal. You never know where the headlands may come from. It helps people who struggle to hear properly in certain situations like crowds when there are a lot of mixed noises coming through. What separates our next guests product from the competition it is bluetooth capable, very cool. We have the the ceo. Stavoos, thanks very much for being here. Talk about this product, why is it unique and how does it exactly work . Well it is unique it provides the user control. It allows the user with their smartphone, either in a droid or an iphone as it is going to be released beginning of next month, to be able to fine tune the device to the needs of the, so to the needs of the user. And ashley so, how does that differ from all the other products out there . The, the other products, they are not personal amplifiers that give you that capability. It is a top quality product that gives you all the controls and capability and the only alternative is hearing aids and hearing aids do not really have this capability as of yet. And the price difference is huge. Ashley that was my next question. How much does up with of these devices cost . This device retails for about 300. As compared to products that they cost about 2, 3,000. Ashley and can you wear it in either ear or do you have to be fitted fitted in one ear in particular . Yes, you can wear it either ear or in both ears. It is fully bluetooth device. Have all the streaming. Wear it as a bluetooth device. Wear it in a noise situation where it hassvery good directional microphone to allow you to hear much clearer in noisy situations and also you can stream music through it. Ashley thats fascinating. You know. Its a automatic. Switches between one mode to the other automatically and flawlessly. You can actually make telephone calls automatically and, and you do not even need to have a smartphone. The device operates by itself as an amplifier without the use of a smartphone but the smartphone allows you to huge flexibility and it is about time, in a market where the Technology Gives you this flexibilities, it has to be able to give consumers choices to take advantage of Available Technology and base for two things. Give control to the end user, choices. Not necessarily to go directly to a medical product for, to satisfy the, his needs or her needs. And at the same time, we are able to reduce the costs significantly because we are using the technology of the smartphone and all the hardware available which shares the cost with billions of users rather than just a few million of users. Ashley what is interesting to me, in the hearing aid industry i get the sense that the way forward has been smaller is better because people who wear hearing aids dont want to be seen to be wearing them. So the smaller they are the less obvious they are is better. What is interesting this technology you see on some people just walking down the street. Yes. Yes. I mean. The technology we are using it has, it would be eventually reduced in size. We are coming up with a new product in few months that will actually be smaller in size but the more significant issue here is the Cost Reduction because we are actually using not proprietary hardware which is exclusive to a very niche market. Ashley right. That allows us to actually move completely away to be disruptive. All of my years have been 25 years been chief designer, technologist in big hearing aid companies. I realized there is a huge need out there that be met and give people choices. You dont have to have a problem, you dont go directly to a medical device which has very ashley wish you the very best. We run out of time. Thank you so much, we wish you continued success and well stay in touch. As the technology progresses of course well do updates. Thank you so much for joining us. Thank you. Ashley well, we are now learning that Hank Greenbergs 4. 4 billion purchase of multiplan includes a 1 billion plus bond deal. Charlie gasparino breaking the story here with exclusive details. They announced this deal today. It is a, whatever sandra multiplan. Its a Health Care Services firm. What we do know is this, i wont quite say its a lbo. They are working, Hank Greenberg people at Star Investments working with their bankers at Jpmorgan Chase are essentially financing this purchase. From what i understand it is more than a billion dollars. Could be for the whole 4. 4. I dont know. They dont know yet. This thing is in the billions. I was being conservative when i said one billion plus. Think it will be two billion. That is the reading were getting now unless Interest Rates change dramatically. What you will see here is essentially an lbo which is kind kind of interesting. Why are they doing it now . Good time to borrow. We still have low Interest Rates. We dont know what will happen with the taper. When you have low Interest Rates and some sense from the fed it will not last forever, you start seeing deals like this financed with borrowed money. Ashley why multiplan . What is the big attraction . Hank wants to build a company. What is interesting about this whole thing the deal aspectses of it and well find out about this bond deal in the coming weeks, several weeks, over the next two months. That is several weeks, eight weeks, you will get it. I think that thing will close within the next two months you will see the bond deal. That is the financial aspect of the deal. The political aspect of this deal is pretty interesting. As you know Hank Greenberg is locked in a fairly interesting battle with new York Attorney general Eric Schneiderman is basically bringing a case almost a decade old, started by spitzer and involved greenberg and aig, alleged sham, accounting transactions when he was aig chief. Most of that case has been kept knocked down by the courts except for one charge, one or two charges. And on those two charges, snyder is man is attempting to prevent hank from being owner, director or an officer of a public company. Now what is interesting here is that cv starr is not a public company. Its a private company. When you start getting this much size, you wonder at some point will he ipo and that is why greenberg continues to fight schneiderman on that. I dont have a good read on that right now. Anything that hank said out there publicly what he wants to do, he wants to keep cv starr, cv starr is the Holding Company for starr investments which is buying this. This is affiliate of cv starr which is his new company. He said he wants to keep it private. You got to think, if youre fighting that one thing, with schneiderman, schneiderman dropped all the monetary claims. Schneiderman wants to bar him from being an owner, director or an officer. You think hank may be wanting to come back as public ceo at some point. That may be at the back of his head. Sandra multiplan is no new company or small company. This thing has been around since 1980. Describes itself as most comprehensive provider of Health Care Cost management solutions. They claim to have 68 million customers. This is not a tiny deal. Hank is still a major player. He is no longer at aig but a 4. 4 billion deal on a private company is pretty damn big and thats what you have here. You got to think ashley does this get schneidermans attention . It has got to. Well see what is going on. There is lot of behind the scenes jockeying between schneidermans office and hankss office whether the lead investigator on the schneiderman case, the lead prosecutor violated conflict of interest rules. There is all sorts of stuff going on between both sides. Hank is clearly fighting this guy for a reason. Publicly hank said he wants to keep cv starr as a private entity. You got to think he has public ipo or something in the back of his head this is pretty big. This is big company he is buying. He is developing a big company. Sandra hank is keeping himself busy here, huh. Not bad for 87. Sandra i was going to ask that. Ashley he is 87. We had him on. Ive known hank for a long time. Ashley feisty. Hasnt really lost a step in many ways. Ashley yeah. 10 years ago i worked out with him. He was in his 70s. Sandra did he do onearm pushups. He is Pretty Amazing in terms of what he can do. Yes, great shape, great diet. He brags his mother was around until a healthy 100. Ashley has the genes. He still wants to be a player. So, get back to the finance ago, what were going to see, you know this thing sound like it will be an lbo. Sounds like they buy it leveraged and buy it with cheap money and this thing will close within the next couple weeks. Culminating with a pretty big bond deal i hear. Billion dollar plus. You never know, Interest Rates go against him. Scale it back. Sandra thank you, charlie. Ashley great stuff as always. Thank you so much. Sandra making a run for the border . Sandra well its been a big problem for governments and cities and towns across america. Broken roads and no money to fix them but heres an idea. Give the roads back to the people. This is exactly with one town in illinois is doing. With more on that jeff block reporting from long grove, illinois. Jeff . Thats right, sandra. Not only do they fix the roads but plow them. On a day like today that is pretty big job as well. Im rolling down the streets of long grove, illinois, with the village president , angie underwood. You have to pay money to fix the roads at some point. Even thoughhyoure about as Libertarian Community as there is out there. You dont have any property taxes. You have your own police force. You do things efficiently as possible. We always had a policy of long grove as minimal government. Everyone takes care of their own. We dont have a lot of Public Services we provide that we dont tax residents either. You put up reasons for privatization. As you point out that tradition of small government, you know, the thing is you used to make money for the roads on Building Permits but there are few lots left to build on. Also the economic downturn hit you pretty good. Money has to come from somewhere, right . Exactly. For those reasons that you just mentioned, we have found ourselves, you know, we relied on Building Permits for so long to help provide a Funding Source that but that is not sustainable now going into the future. Were about built out in long grove. So were to the point now where we have to find another sustainable source. It will be a combination of very small property tax. Right. As well as potentially the privatization. Right. Angie underwood, appreciate the time. Beautiful, snowy day out here. Somebody has to plow these roads and to pay for it. Theyre trying to figure that out best way they can, sandra. Sandra long grove, very beautiful town 30 miles outside of chicago. Historic, country feel to long grove. We talked to the 14yearold who unvented this coming up next. [ park sounds, sound of spray paint ] we asked people a question, how much mey do you think youll need when you retire . 500,000. Maybe halfmillion. Say a million dollars. [ dan ] then we gave each person a ribbon to show how ma years that amount might last. I was trying to like pull it a littlfurther. You know, i was trying to stretch it a little bit more. [ woman ] got me to 70 years old. Im going to have to rethink this ing. When i was 12 years old, yearandahalf ago. We got a golden retriever named kala. She had bad separation anxiety. When we leave home she would get upset. When she came to you with this idea did you ever think a short time later you would sit in a studio in spokane, washington, talking to fox business studio in new york . Give me your perspective all this. Certainly changed my Job Description as a parent. Definitely keeps expanding. No, we didnt anticipate that it would grow into this. It started out as brooke said, to find a solution to help her dog. She also participated in an event called startup weekend in spoke can. Out of 40 people that pitched. 39 and brooke, brooke got the most votes presenting her idea.
