And i think the amazing thing is you see the polls coming out today, one of the anchors from one of the networks said, whoa, they couldnt believe im right there. I guess we are tied in ohio and pennsylvania and very close nationwide. A cnn poll is an example. Lou at this point that frankly is so early, so many people are writing, this thing is over because we are almost a month from the convention. This is just beginning. For me its just beginning. When i first started with the 17 total people that we had. I started at nothing and rapidly went up. You know, that was not have much different other than we had a lot of people. We had 17. I had 1 opponents. I will tell you, i have never seen more unfair press coverage. Even the New York Times where they did the story on the women. They said donald trump is a great guy. It wasnt what we were saying and they were totally discredited. They saw us and sort of in their own way apologized as much as they can. It was a frontpage story. How nice were those women to come forward and say thats not what we say, they were remarkable people. So i have Great Respect for what happened. But its very unfair from the media standpoint. You restructured your campaign. Shakeup at the top. Is this the reset that you have allowed people to speculate about . Is there going to be one . And if so, what direction . Cory did a good job. You are the first republican president ial presumptive nominee to focus on the middle class. Working men and women and their families and international trade. The first. And you have a unique appeal to independents as well as to the republicans that you brought into the primary process. Where do you take that message on illegal immigration, working men and women, job creation and restoring prosperity . Wages. Just wages. One of the most incredible statistics is 18 years people moved less people havent had a real wage increase. In some cases they are working two jobs and making less money than they used to make. A lot of part time ears because of obama care which is a disaster which well repeal and replace with much less money. But i have hit a chord. I make speeches. 25,000 people coming. In houston, texas, they had a line, the longest line anyone has ever seen going into an arena or convention center. I have never even seen anything like that. Now we had 5,000 seats and tens of thousands of people not able to get in. But it was covered strongly in whnt helicopters. There is something that we hit. We hit a chord. And people are tired of incompetence. They are tired of being ripped off. They are tired in some cases of its not incompetence. Its the politicians taking care of their friend or corporations. Nobody can be that stupid to do what they are doing. We have the worst trade deals ever made by any country ever. We are losing our jobs, we are losing our money and our country is not going to be able to do this. We have trade imbalances and deficits. You look at china. Hundreds of billions of dollars a year. We are going to change that quickly. Lou in supporting the middle class, jobs and wages, you are taking on the business establishment, you are take on corporate america. You are taking on two Business Practices in particular, the offshoring of production of cheap labor and markets and economies. Exporting of jobs. The outsourcing of u. S. Middle class jobs. How long do you think it will take you as president to end those two practices. When you talk about taking on business. Im here to help business, help the middle class. We have given the largest tax reduction of anybody by far. All 18 or 17plus the democrats. Hillary has to raise taxes to 55 or 0 percent. So we are 55 to 60 percent. So im being good to business. But in terms of trade we are not going to have it where carrier airconditioning can close down in indiana and move their operation to mexico and sell back to our country. Its not going to happen. When they sell an airconditioning unit into our country well charge them a tax. And well make up the continues in maybe more than that. So there will be a price to pay. There will be consequences for companies that close down and think they are going to sell here because of free trade. Its not free trade. Im a free trader. But for free trade you need smart people. We dont have smart people doing our deals for us. We are going to do one of the anchors, a good person. I said i want good deals. I want good deals for the people of the united states. Thats all. Actually great deals. We are going to make great deals. Well make them for this country. You can call it free trade, fair trade. Well stop making free trade deals where businesses dont leave and we benefit and make money. Lou talking about up proving, making terrific great trade deals as part of the Public Policy choice and direction that has to be taken, the second is it seems to me to recognize all of the money thats sopped up in lobbying on k street goes for big business and big banks. And Small Business create the preponderance of jobs. And they are forgotten. Lou how are you going to stimulate their Business Environment to insure they prosper. The lobbyists dont control me. If they did i wouldnt be talking this way about china and japan and mexico, and all these countries ripping us. I have thousands of hispanics work for me. Mexico is killing us at the border and they are killing us on trade. You see so Many Companies moving to mexico. What we are going to do, the lobbyists dont control me. I hired many of the lobbyists. They are very good. They have the name of the senator or whoever it may be stamped on their forehead. And they totally control these politicians. What happens is its good for the people of the company that own the company but its not good for the people of the country. And i understand the system probably better than anybody. I have always been on the other side. I understand the system. Well make it so our country finally benefit. We are being ripped off by everybody. She dont seem to have a grasp of that because she was a failure as secretary of state. And pushed a false narrative with the video with susan rice and what not. Lou so hes basically tied in ohio and pennsylvania and if anybody thinks that if order number is accurate. You should be doing very well in florida. I think the larger point is that he weathered a very tough period and she did not pick up a lot from her good period so thats a good sign for him. This is a good form for him when he has oneonone. He comes off as much more serious than there is no namecalling. I think yes to bassically get away from the namecalling for period of time here. He can beat her on serious issues. He doesnt have to be calling her a liar and all the rest of it and to an extended it manages him. Lou its interesting what he said today. He said he thought it would be easier in the general election. He was engaged in a fourmonth battle and it was tooth and nail there were fists flying everywhere. 16 opponents and i mean. He recognizes clearly its going to be tough. If he had been through the night bender at eight or nine times its a very close competitive country and the democrats have gained him measurably in the last couple of cycles and have an Extraordinary Campaign team today which we used to always dominate that in the late 70s and the 80s. They now have it every bit as good and this is about power. This is about real power so when they dont think they are roller burger and play dead dont think just because you dont like somebody that they their people are dyed in the wall and they will go to the last drop.
