It looks like it would be about a weeklong ceasefire for humanitarian grounds that would allow israel to continue to keep troops here in the gaza strip while negotiations began about some kind of permanent ceasefire. This agreement, from what we understand, would be very difficult for hamas to stomach and to accept. But anything is possible, of course. The fighting has raised more than just a little concerned. So maybe this time for a ceasefire. But what we have heard from many the past few days is that they do not want to ceasefire agreement unless the blockade is listed here. Lou what would motivate the israelis to agree to a ceasefire . The rockets continue to rain down on israel, the tunnels remain many, many of them still intact. Thats a big question. Both sides have questions that they want. Israel wants the rockets stop in the tunnels destroyed and i dont see how this agreement gives them any closer. Neither side is winning or losing during this agreement. So basically i dont see how this does anything. But it may be possible that both sides dont want a further explanation and that they are just willing to put a positive conflict here. Lou thank you very much. And by doing so, it seems to me that the congressman has just aligned himself with the democratic solution to almost everything, which is to throw vast amounts of taxpayer money at the problem and hope. When the truth is that over the past halfcentury the federal government has spent more than 16 trillion fight the results a halfcentury ago when Lyndon Johnson promised one poverty in america, the poverty rate was 19 . Today it is 15 and thats four Percentage Points for 16 trillion. And what we dont need is another variation on a bureaucratic leftist behemoth which is precisely the consolidation effort. What we desperately require is new leadership with original thinking and original ideas. Florida governor jeb bush with his business roundtable, he manages to ape the left and almost every manner. The governors logic takes the underling twist and twist politics. Paul ryan went along with mitt romney and they lost that election and that is what google say they lost it badly. And i think that they were talking in addressing poverty the same way, which was a losing talking point and why everyone was looking to rand paul and ted cruz and saying who is someone who can present these ideas are the ideas could be similar, but lets presented in a way that resonates with people. These guys have failed to do it time and again. Lou as we look at what is happening here, the president has the temerity on the west coast raising money for the party to plug away at the republicans saying that they have the capacity to fundamentally change america. This is a president that is disengaged from the legislative process and the House Republicans are fighting and they are passing bill after bill. Harry reid is not going to make his senators vulnerable take a tougher stance. President obama, for whatever reason, he fails to mention it. Is a campaigner. And that is what he does best. We pay him 400,000 per year and the Democratic Party spent over a billion dollars to get him reelected. He got reelected because he kept doing this and people bought it. He seems to do a really good job of talking the talk and he says that im on the side of the middle. He doesnt have to do anything, people buy the story over and over again. The obama era is over. The political machine is breaking. Hes going to texas and california because they dont want him in the states and that doesnt mean the republicans have solved their problems. But obama is not the Political Force that he was. Lou in the 12 city where there is a contest for the senate, the average is 50 and people are talking about this and it looks like it may be double given the direction that hes headed. When he has Approval Ratings are low, maybe they can do 10 points better come its hard to do that,. Democrats are in big trouble, but im looking ahead to the president ial election.
