What you want to do is balance out and not down south. We need Economic Growth like never before and that is the only way that you get the minimum wage truly higher. All of the innercity unemployment that you see, all of it is a catastrophe because of bad economics. We need growth badly. It is amazing that the president has every done immigration changes by executive order and the courts have reversed him on the recess appointment and other challenges. But i think the important thing for america to understand is that this President Campaign and one on hope and change and tonight america really hopes for change in this administration and i am not sure that they are going to get it. Is there any way in the world that you can see this administration turning, if you will, in a direction that would be beneficial to the middle class and to working men and women in this country . Because that has to be the focus of not only this president of the Republican Party itself. Which is often embraced rather than working men and women. It is really for everyone. What we do is we increase that Economic Growth and it will filter down for everyone. The problem that i have is that obama has had enormous opportunity and what a fantastic person with a great background. All of these accomplishments he has and he throws it away in the first five years. In the final one here with the minimum wage in all of this stuff. Remember john f. Kennedys race. The best form of a welfare is a good high paying job and that is a way to make the poor richer and not by putting in minimum wage. Lou asking you both as we wrap up. Is there room here for the Republican Party to embrace, if you will, cause and effect and to be straightforward and honest about what is precipitated for the decline in manufacturing and the middleclass jobs which have been lost in a middleclass that is growing smaller and not larger. We look at the outsourcing of jobs. 3 million of them at the most conservative estimate have been lost and off shoring of the production. We are starting to see a return of some of those facilities to this country. Is there a point at which the Republican Party can be honest and say that we have to start worrying about the middleclass where the American Dream resides and those who aspire to it and now is the time . Now is the time. The party of small government is the party that benefits Small Business. Large businesses can overcome huge obstacles and regulations. Its a Small Business that cannot afford the extra lawyers and accountants. Most importantly the return of manufacturing in america depends upon this renaissance, if you will, of energy that we are enjoying. If the president supports the highquality of energy with natural gas, we can bring in the auto and steel jobs that pay. Four or five times the minimum wage. If i could just add that if we make sure it that they are not excluding this and big corporations can get a ground the requirements, that is a middleclass problem and it hurts them as well and that hurts everyone. We are all in this together. And you cannot make one of us better off. It just doesnt work that way and i wish that you were kennedy. We have a lot of other names that start with reagan.
