Shes moved on to new york, her home state, to Campaign Today with new york governor andrew to cuomo by supporting his 15anhour minimum wage plan. Our Political Panel on how cruz and sanders are going to change the Political Landscape as we speak. Richard goodstein and Brad Blakeman are here. Plus, as president obama meets with the current nato commander, Donald Trump Holding firm on his belief that nato is an outdated organization with no teeth. Does america need to renegotiate its defense commitments with nato and europe . Are we really getting fleeced by the whole nato thing . The tough as nails commander who says, not so fast. On wall street, markets drifting lower after posting pretty decent gains last week. The dow is down about 49 points. Still, there is a lot more than just that loss. Plus, no redemptions for you. Puerto ricos bondholders have filed suit, well tell you what that says. Tesla sales soar, and Charlie Gasparino has the Virgin America sale to alaska air. Were less than an hour to the closing bell, lets start the countdown. Liz okay, so with the dow down 4 points, weve 44 points, weve cut in half the losses, are the markets backing off right now . Stocks got too close to last years highs. The dow is hitting fresh session lows within the hour, down more than 80 but, again, back off that at the moment. The s p down about a quarter of a percent. Nothing to really see here, folks, but look at oil. Fresh drops in oil prices, 3 to the downside today, settling at 35. 70, we are just about a nickel higher than that in the after market session. Despite the modest bearishness in the markets, i bet youll be happy to know four stocks are breaking out to lifetime highs today. Lifetime highs. Cocacola, you own that . How about home depot . How about travelers . How about mcdonalds in and whats so incredible about mcdonalds is theyre seeing their fourth record in a row as it continues to benefit from last weeks announcement that it was expanding in china. The first dow stock to hit a lifetime high in the second quarter. We have it up about half a percent, and now i want a big mac. Two allbeef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun. Its the old cmercial. Team fox business coverage across the state of wisconsin. Blake burman is in the state capital of madison, and jeff flock in milwaukee to cover the democratic side. The two shall converge as we watch all of this and more. But first, we begin in the capital just one day away from the wisconsin primary. Donald trump and senator ted cruz holding dueling events right now at this very hour. Youre looking at live pictures. Superior is where donald trump is, ca nobody shah, ted cruz has arrived. Wisconsin, a state that leads in the two major food groups as i like to say, cheese and beer. The third is delegates. Neither president ial candidate can afford to lose. Nationwide cruz trail ares trump by 273 delegates, but republican rules in wisconsin give cruz a pretty Good Opportunity to win all or most of the states 42 delegates on the republican side. So the question remains, is wisconsin cruzs to lose or trumps to gain . Fox business blake burman live in madison with the very latest, and both the candidates are in that state right now. Reporter yeah, hi there, liz. Four stops for ted cruz today here in wisconsin, three for donald trump. John kasich has kind of picked up and moved on, but this is certainly the final push right now in wisconsin. I want to take you to live pictures, i believe we have it, of donald trump in superior, wisconsin. Cant stress enough really the location, the geography here. This is in the far northwest part of the state on the minnesota border by duluth. This is some five hours away, a fivehour drive from the state capital here in madison, wisconsin. Significant because it is at least believed or thought that should donald trump exceed expectations and do well here tomorrow night in wisconsin, he will need the northern part of the state, the western part of the state, the more rural areas, and that is where trump is right now in superior, wisconsin. During his first stop earlier today, he talked about the significance of what this race could mean tomorrow. If we do well here, folks, its over. [cheers and applause] if we dont, if we dont, if we dont win here, its not over. But wouldnt you like to take the credit in wisconsin . [cheers and applause] for ending it . Give wisconsin the credit for ending it. And then we could focus on hillary instead of these two guys. Reporter now, liz, if ted cruz ends up winning tomorrow, it increases the chances that we could potentially be headed toward a brokered convention in july in cleveland. We spoke with cruz, reporters did, we were there a little while ago here in the capital of madison, and this possibility of a brokered convention was right in the forefront of what cruz was asked and talked about, and he tried to make the argument that it would get down to him and donald trump, one versus the other in cleveland. And he says nobody else. He said it would be like a white knight being parachuted in, thats what the washington establishment wants, but he doesnt think it would get to that moment. Here in wisconsin the polls show that cruds leads, the very latest one from cbs has him up six. Well see how it all shakes out tomorrow. Liz blake, thank you very much. In fact, let us take you live to what is known as the bong airport hangar in superior. Lets listen to donald trump for a moment. Im selffunding my campaign. Im putting up my own money, right . [cheers and applause] and nobody does this. I guess the last might have been ross perot. I dont know of anybody at does it. I have turned down tens of millions of dollars from special interests and from people and, frankly, from friends of mine. They want to give me millions. One guy in palm beach recently said, donald, wed live to give you 10 million. Now, for me to turn it down is, you know, its like against my grain. [laughter] because my whole life ive been taking money. I take, take, take. [laughter] thats what a businessman does, right . Or a businesswoman. We take we take. And, you know, they come up, id like to, and one guy in particular, hes a very rich guy, member of the maralago club, donald, id like to make a major contribution to you or your pac. I said i dont have a pac. I dont have you know, all these guys have these phony pacs. I saw where cruz the other day had an event run by his pac. Thats not allowed youre not allowed to do that. They said it was paid for and run by his pac. Youre not allowed to do that which is, thats a whole other story. But this guy comes up, he said, id like to give you whatever money you want for your campaign. I said, i cant take it. He looked at me and said youre kidding, right . Hes a business guy. I said, no, i cant take it. I have turned down so much money, if i would have accepted i think bush, jeb, had the biggest of all the pacs. He had, like, 148 million or something, and i think it got even a lot bigger than that. I could have had that times four or five if i would have taken the money. And coming over i said, you know, i dont think its appreciated. And im not knocking you. But when people look at me and then they look at this guy, cruz, whos totally control by the people that give him the money, 100 totally controlled. But when they give him that money or when they give how about kasich . Kasich is 1 for 32, okay . [laughter] you know what he is . Hes a guy just doesnt stop, which i respect in one way, because i always say never quit, never give up. But if you go by that theory and, by the way, the people from back there are pouring in as we speak. You dont mind, unless you want to wait for about two hours. You want to wait . No, i didnt think so. How about kasich . Hes won how many states are there that weve gone through, like 30, 32. Whatever it is, he won one, and i would have won that one if i would have had two more days. I stayed in florida to campaign, because i thought it was closer. We won florida, by the way, in a landslide. Won by almost 20 points. And i should have left florida a little bit early, but i didnt want to take a chance on losing florida. So if i went to ohio one extra day, maybe two days, i would have won. We came in very close. Against him and the machine thats in ohio, which is fine. I understand it. But heres a guy, hes 132. And the one is his home state. I mean, give me a break. And he almost lost it. So hes 1 for 32, and he just says im going to keep running, im going to keep running, i dont care. And hes taking my votes. Because hes not taking from cruz. Hes taking from me. And i say to myself, its unfair because marco could have stayed, he would have marco was doing much better than he was. Marco could have stayed, they all could have stayed. Jeb bush could have stayed, right . You know he would have liked to have stayed. Low energy, its what i said. Just that. [laughter] but they all could have stayed. If you go by that theory. So i think its unfair. And i will tell you one thing about kasich, he voted in favor of nafta. Hes in favor, which is a disaster. That sucked, that sucked the businesses from wisconsin and every place else. You have to see new england. Just took em away. He voted in favor, and what he wants now is tpp, transpacific partnership. A total disaster for our country. Led by the special interests, led by the lobbies, led by countries that want to rip us off and take our jobs, led by people this is going to make nafta look like a baby, folks, and you shouldnt allow it. Ted cruz wants it. Ted cruz wants it badly because his people that give him money are telling him we want it. And its a bad thing for our country, believe me, folks, a really bad thing. [cheers and applause] i love wisconsin. [cheers and applause] i love wisconsin. You know, its funny, we had a situation where cruz was going to win the south, remember . Until be i came along. [laughter] but he was going to win the south, and he was actually they were thinking New Hampshire, but somebody else was supposed to win New Hampshire. Looked like jeb was going to win, and i came up. We won New Hampshire in a land slide, right . Landslide. And by the way, i spent a tiny fraction of the money. Isnt that nice when you can spend heads and come out number spend less and come out number one . Isnt that good . Liz trump in superior, wisconsin, riling up the crowd, speaking against nato, obviously continuing his protectionist view about getting fair, not just free trade. And you can see one of the things he said that jumped out at us, i would have won in ohio if i had had two more days. Well, you didnt, okay . So, but the more important thing is donald trump is giving a few props to john kasich who will not get out of this race, and then he proceeded to rip him for a couple of other stances. But youve got to keep it right here for all your wisconsin primary election coverage. Im going to be on with lou dobbs, neil cavuto and the rest of the fox business allstars tomorrow night. Were going to have the latest poll results, and then the second winners are named in both the democrat and republican races, weve got it. 8 p. M. Eastern tomorrow. Coming up, jeff flock, to the democrat side and whether all of that protectionist talk works for the democratic voters. Stay tuned, were coming right back. Dow jones industrials down about 46 points. Heres the plan. You want a family and a career, but most of the time you feel like youre trying to wrangle a hurricane. The rest of the time, theyre asleep. Then one day, hr schedules a meeting with you out of the blue. And its the worst 19 minutes of your career. But you dont sweat it because you and your advisor have prepared for this. And when the best offer means youre moving to the middle of nowhere, the boys say they hate the idea. But you pretend its not so bad. And years later at thanksgiving, when one of them says what hes thankful for most, is this house, you realize you didnt plan for any of this you wouldnt have done it any other way. Liberty mutual insurance. Liz donald trump speaking live in superior, wisconsin. He just said during this commercial break, i havent even begun to start in on hillary, meaning Hillary Clinton, and, of course, the Democratic Candidates are hitting the road as well. Make that two roads in wisconsin which have diverged in a yellow wood, as robert frost would say, but only one is actually campaigning in wisconsin. Jeff flock in milwaukee with the latest on that. Reporter yeah, maybe its a sense of trying to, you know, tamp down expectations for Hillary Clinton. But first, Bernie Sanders here crisscrossing the state today. We had him this morning in janesville, wisconsin, and take a look at the be pictures from there. Very enthusiastic rally. He picks up a lot of support from those daffected workers like the ones as the gm plant. Ones at the gm plant. Raise taxes on the wealthy and not free trade, fair trade. Actually maybe its a trump sanders ticket. I dont know, anyway, Hillary Clinton hasnt even been in the state for the last four days, in fact, four occupant of the last five days she hasnt been here. Campaigning in new york and, as i said, maybe because the polls are so close, she wants to make even a close outcome look like a win for her, putting all her eggs in the new york basket. Not Bernie Sanders, hes putting them all right here, because he thinks if he can translate that enthusiasm to votes at the polls tomorrow, hes a big winner. Take a listen. If theres a large voter turnout, we will win here. If we win here, were going to have a bounce going into new york state where i think we can win. If we win in new york state, between you and me, i dont want to get Hillary Clinton more nervous than she already is [laughter] reporter oh, shes probably nervous enough, but there you go. If he does win here, liz, its six out of seven and you may say hes a long shot, but if all he does is keep winning, i dont know, maybe not such a long shot. Liz i dont know if you saw the wall street journal front cover here, but it says, sanders cash keeps flowing. Reporter 44 million, incredible. And its all people with 200 or less. 56 of it 200 or less, as opposed to his opponent. Liz no Political Action committee, from what hes talking about. Thank you, jeff flock, in wisconsin. We cannot stress enough that its early, okay . I get a lot of tweets, liz, how can you even we know its early. But knowing that, if it all came down to today, it isnt only the delegate math that could prevent donald trump a presidency, its also those democratic opponents. Trump is also losing in a headtohead matchup against both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders by double digits. We bring in democratic strategist Richard Goodstein and republican strategist Brad Blakeman on whether theres any validity to whats showing up in the polls right now. Brad, can donald trump start appealing to a larger base so those polls get put to the wayside . Yes, he can, and hell do that if he is to secure the nomination. And the sooner the better for donald trump, but it doesnt look like its going to happen that way. In wisconsin tomorrow looks like cruz is going to win, and then were off to new york, and i think trump will do much better there. But then we have pennsylvania on april 26th, and i think by that day well find out who the nominee is likely to be, if anybody, or this is going to the convention. These polls dont mean a thing right now in the general election. You have to be selected by the party first before youre elected by the people. A lot is going to change after both conventions. Liz yet its what we have to go on and, therefore, richard, look, you cannot deny that Donald Trumps supporters are pure of heart. They are supporting him with nothing in their way. However, is it possible that his image is much larger than the power of that core popularity . I guess, in a way, a paper tiger . Its true that polls at this point in a general election matchup dont count for much, but heres where they do count. The fact is three months ago, two months ago donald trump was actually ahead of Hillary Clinton by three points in the fox poll. A month later hes down five. A month after that, hes down eleven. So the trend lines certainly not good. If you look at his favorabilities and unfavorabilities among all those groups in the republican autopsy back in 2013 that they had to do better with, hispanics, women, young voters, hes like 25 favorable, 75 unfavorable. So is it thinkable, conceivable that he could turn it around . I guess. Look, in the business channel, liz, your viewers need to get it straight. The fact is Bernie Sanders does not have a path. Yes, hes won a bunch of caucuses x he may win in wisconsin, but its proportional. Liz right, i get that. 750delegate margin may be down to 735. And then hes got new york and pennsylvania and california, new jersey liz maybe the erosion is happening we heard that before ohio and illinois. Liz okay the fact is hillary liz but the distancing that he starts to endure, the pockets of different people that he said things that do upset them. You know, i talked to katrina pearson, his spokeswoman, last week about that, and heres how that conversation went down. She brought it right back to ted cruz. Listen to this. He believes what he believes. But you now have immigrant groups, at least some of them, against him. You have antiklan groups against him, prochoice people against him. Katrina, theres not going to be much left except jews for jesus at this point if he keeps offending people. Its not really about offending people. The truth is inherently bridge rented, and we have someone who is not politically correct who is going to speak the truth, and hes been doing that from the beginning, and he has been winning. Its senator ted cruz that has to worry about the state of wisconsin. Liz what does that mean, brad, the truth is inherently belligerent . Look, thats a copout. Donald trump has not been behaving like a president ial candidate. Lets be serious. As a republican, i have to tell it like it is, and it hurts me when donald trump goes off the reservation and says things that, as a republican, i just cannot defend and i will not defend. So donald trump has got to stop the type of divisive rhetoric if he is to be the nominee of the party, and hes going to win in november. And let me say this, the democrats shouldnt take too much glee in republican dysfunction, because if hillary were to be indicted and she does not pass the fbi caucus, then shes done, and the democrats are turned on their ear. Right now thats a serious cloud hanging over the democrats. So as much as republicans may appear to be dysfunctional, so are democrats because hillary is not the inevitable nominee that people think she is. Liz what about that, richard . So every person i talk to in the green room at fox three years ago it was about the fact that she had a concussion, and her head wasnt working right. A year or two ago it was about benghazi. Now its about emails. Im waiting for someone to decide that the republican nominee can beat her on the issues. The fact is, look, weve seen tens of thousands of her emails that have come out, and what do we know . She doesnt know how to find homeland, the good wife or how to set up a fact machine. Really its kind of shocking how little has come out when tens of thousands of her personal emails have been disclosed. I think if you talk to any serious lawyer whos been in the trenches on these cases, they will tell you an indictment is not in the cards. Liz good to see you both. Thank you very much. We are just about 36 minutes to the closing bell. Were watching the markets too. Weve just started to see, speaking of erosion, a little bit more here. Were down 73 for the dow, oil down more than 3 . Up next, Virgin America shares skyrocketing on a deal to merge with alaska airlines. You could have made money on this had you listened to Charlie Gasparino who told us on friday that a deal was going down today. Hes got even more details. Charlie breaks it down next on countdown to the closing bell. The pursuit of healthier. It begins from the second were born. Because, healthier doesnt happen all by itself. It needs to be earned every day. Using wellness to keep away illness. And believing a single life can be made better by millions of others. As a Health Services and Innovation Company optum powers modern healthcare by connecting every part of it. So while the world keeps searching for healthier were here to make healthier happen. Liz aha, Virgin America taking flight right now. Charlie gasparino was here exclusively on friday saying a deal would be done today. If you had called your broker before the close friday, youd be up 41 . More liz heres the question, jetblue or alaska air . Its alaska air confirming today it will buy Virgin America for 2. 6 billion. Remember, we were laying odds, i was laying odds based on the bankers who would win. They knew it was coming today, they didnt know which one was, essentially, going to buy. So what they were doing was laying on. The odds were on jetblue for a lot of reasons; economies of scare, the same type of aircraft. They went down the line why they thought that jetblue would sort of, that Virgin America would pick them. But when it came down to it, as it often does, was price. And apparently, you know, the word that jetblue had the superior bid was probably friday morning. By friday night Virgin Atlantic excuse me, alaska air came in with what was a price that, from what we understand, jetblue said liz i think people dont even realize its cheaper to build out than go there. Liz Virgin America launched the same year that fox business launched. We had them on. They were the young startup. Look at this, 2. 6 billion. Its really incredible. Yeah, its really incredible that, apparently, jetblue, they were bigger than jetblue for a while. Jetblues a bigger airline. Jetblue would have bought them. So they clearly did not grow to the extent that people thought they were growing. But it, you know, listen, this deal makes a lot of sense. I find it fascinating that donald trump is out there, you know, attacking the deal saying theres only, you know, this is the problem with capitalism, having just one company, and that his liz can you imagine if somebody stood in his way to prevent a merger . A Government Official . I will say this, if donald was taken more seriously right now as a potential president ial candidate, he still might win based on the amount of delegates in the republican primary, but if the markets really believed that he was going to be the president , not only would this deal be off, it wouldnt be up 40 , itd be, you know, if hes basically saying hes going to kill the deal. Liz hes not wrong in certain respects where some mergers are not friendly to the consumer. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. We dont know. I mean, you know, i you know, listen, Justice Department looks at a lot of these mergers liz but thats more of a democrat side thing, isnt it . Yeah. Liz pushing against i dont know what merger hately has not been real good for the consumer. I know there have been bad mergers. When citigroup bought all those banks leading up to the crash, i mean, i think that was bad for other reasons. I dont know if it was necessarily bad for consumers, bad for the country. And there was nothing to stop it from doing so under a democratic president , by the way. Citigroup merger, merging citicorp and travelers occurred under bill clinton. It was given the go ahead by bill clintons Justice Department, so remember that. So if you think about it, donald trump is maybe to the left of bill clintons Justice Department or his views on antitrust. But i will say this, if the deal, if donald trump was taken seriously as a president ial candidate, this deal would not be up as much today. The stock market would be off as well because hes very protectionist and, you know, markets hate that. So take it for what its worth. Its an interesting story. You know, you can never be 100 . You know, reporters, were not in the deal. Just give the viewer the best liz well, you did say on friday, who knows . Alaska air could sweep in at the last minute. And thats what they did. Watch, well be reading about this on saturday. [laughter] because im not there. I can only tell you theres a bidding war that at the time i reported jetblue was ahead, but the bigger, sort of more pressing story was Virgin America was going to be bought. And if you bought shares of Virgin America when we said that, what was going on, you made a lot of money today. Liz theres a bidding war for this outfit. You like it . Liz i do. I like the blue with the thing and the thing. You like my new haircut . Liz yeah, because its not too short. I made sure. Liz none of this one flew over the cuckoos nest. The martini. Do not show the picture. [laughter] liz closing bell, 27 minutes away. Donald trump doubling down on his nato is obsolete call, saying the North Atlantic Treaty Organization is sucking too much money out of the u. S. Plus, weve got the retired navy admiral and former nato chief whos saying not so fast. Retired admiral james dupree next live on countdown. The people who study nato, theyre so close to it, they dont understand its obsolete. Im not saying you get rid of it, and i never did. But i say people have to pay up. When you think about success, what does it look like . Is it becoming a better professor by being a more adventurous student . Is it one day giving your daughter the opportunity she deserves . Is it finally witnessing all the artistic wonders of the Natural World . Whatever your definition of success is, helping you pursue it, is ours. Tiaa. Liz breaking news, and first on fox business, we just broke this a couple of hours ago, it is continuing to develop. A lawsuit has been filed on behalf of the big money puerto rican government bondholders. The law firm of davis polk releasing details today which fox business obtained naming funds and says government bondholders assets need to be preserved to keep the situation on the financiallytroubled island calm. Preserved how . Well, if approved, muni bondholders of puerto rican debt will not be able to withdraw their money. Now, thats crucial. Why . And it may matter to you. You might not even know it. Nearly 70 of u. S. Based muni bond funds own puerto rican debt or have some type of exposure. Why . Because a lot of the debt several years ago was taxexempt, and it was a great deal. But it created a bubble. Wall street made almost a billion dollars in fees pushing this stuff. But when the rules changed in 2006 and it was no longer taxexempt, puerto rico fell into default and a recession. Now, there is word that ubs might be part of this deal, and on top of that we should tell you that their may and july payments that Puerto Rico May default on, so this story is developing as we speak. Lets get to president obama. Hes meeting with natos secretary general at the white house this morning, and high on the list of topics was the fight against isis. The meeting comes as republican president ial frontrunner donald trump again today repeated his criticism of nato, calling it outdating and in need of a major makeover. Former commander admiral James Stavridis is joining me live to tell us where the organization whether the organizations relationship with the u. S. Is really outdated. Do you, sir, agree with what donald trump has to say . No, i completely disagree. I wouldnt tell mr. Trump how to run a hotel, but i think i do know a few things about nato. Let me start with the costsharing piece of this. The european allies spend collectively, liz, 300 billion a year on defense. Thats more than russia and china combined. Theyre not meeting all of the goals theyve set for themselves, but its the second largest Defense Budget in the world. So we shouldnt be so quick to discount those kind of capabilities among allies who have stooled and fought with us in stood and fought with us in afghanistan, in libya, in the balkans and really around the world. Liz well, i get that. And nato is an important organization, but i guess if you went back to, say, 2015 the numbers prove that, in essence, the u. S. Accounted for 72 of all of the defense spending by nato. It just feels outsized to a lot of people. Maybe make that more palette bl to our viewers so that they understand. I can. When you look at total defense spending, the United States defense spending is distributed globally, all around the world. A great deal of that money goes to defend our allies and protect our interests in the arabian gulf, in the western pacific. The portion of it that really is focused on europe is whats relevant here. When you kind of look apples to apples and compare, the europeans do not look as though they are in any sense free riding. I would argue they are key elements and key players in places like afghanistan, iraq, syria and libya. Thats what the president s going to be talking to the secretary general about today. Liz okay. Now lets say because right now the world is extremely volatile at the moment isis talk a lot about isis and the situation there. Could nato, should nato be more involved in fighting isis or at least participating in the battle against it . It absolutely should, liz. And i have been advocating that along with many other voices. What nato could do most effectively is create a Nato Training Mission in iraq that could do the hard work of building the Iraqi Security forces so they can retake mosul, so they can participate in the fight against the islamic state. Secondly, nato has tremendous intelligence, information, logistics capability. It canning use its can use its awacs aircraft. Many of the nato nations individually are participating, but to bring the entire alliance into this would be very, very positive, and i suspect that is a key part of the discussion between the president and the secretarygeneral. Liz before i let you go back to your students at tufts, and its a fine job youre doing over there, one of the toughest schools to get into, the u. S. Navy has come upon an iranian ship that had thousands of weapons on it. Where were those weapons going, from those from your point of view . In im almost certain they were headed into yemen. Whats happened here is the iranians are supporting the houthi rebels, part of the shia side of the islamic faith. Theyre in a fight with sunni government of yemen. This is really part, liz, of the larger sunni shia conflict in the middle east. And its again an example of iran using its money, its influence, its capabilities to destabilize regimes in the region. Its a problem. Liz we appreciate you coming on to talk about this. Thank you very much, admiral. Thanks, liz. Always a pleasure. Liz James Stavridis. Closing bell, were about 17 minutes away. Take control of your retirement today liz and here we have it, california governor jerry brown signing into law a plan to raise the minimum wage to 15 an hour by the year 2022. This happened earlier in california. So how could a 15 an hour minimum wage impact wisconsin . Joining me now commerce ceo kurt bauer. You guys are still at 7. 25 an hour, correct . We are. We are. And we hope to stay in that range. If youve seen whats happened in seattle and san francisco, those minimum wage hikes are just a disaster for job growth. Liz could you endure a slightly higher minimum wage, say 9 or 10 ap hour . An hour . Well, yes, the Retail Sector would probably say no to that. I mean, the bottom line is in wisconsin right now weve got about 13,000 factory jobs that have gone unfilled. If youre willing to work in the state of wisconsin, i can find you a job that pays 14 an hour right now with benefits, so i dont think we need it. Will. Liz thats an excellent point. You know, 70 , and i saw this in the milwaukee sentinel newspaper, 70 of your state Business Leaders said theyre actually having trouble filling jobs, that theyre having trouble, theres a slight shortage. So let the free market work, and they would raise those wages anyway just to get better employees. Youre absolutely right. Its a real concern in wisconsin. Were a baby boomdominated state with our work force. Of course, theyre at or reaching retirement age. We dont have many genxeres, so weve got a real problem, and, you know, getting into the president ial campaign weve been more to having what some of the candidates have been saying. One of the things we need here is comprehensive Immigration Reform because we need guest workers coming into wisconsin or, frankly, were looking at stagnation, if not contraction of our economy going forward. Liz okay. So which candidate is most attractive to you at this point knowing what you know and standing on the side of business . Well, im not going to endorse a candidate, but i would probably venture a guess that most of our Business Leaders in the state would probably gravitate more towards kasich or cruz. The concerns that they would have with a donald trump would be on that immigration point that i made just a few moments ago. And then on the protectionism. Wisconsin is a heavy manufacturing state, were also a big agricultural state, and 22. 4 billion of what we manufacture annually gets exported. If you wall us off from exports and trade deals, wisconsin with jobs will suffer as a result. Liz well, yeah. Youd be cut off from the worlds most lucrative markets. Absolutely. Liz liz you dont need that, especially when your Unemployment Rate is 4. 2 , which is well below the national Unemployment Rate. Tell me now though, kurt, what should immigration and that newer plan look like from your standpoint . Well, it has to be legal. We need a Guest Worker Program that invites people to come up here i was at a seminar a couple of weeks ago where the presenter was talking about the problem in wisconsin, and he basically said it takes multiple decades for somebody to legally immigrate to the United States from latin america. Well, we need Legal Immigration from all parts of the world. We want the best and brightest to come to wisconsin. We need, frankly, people of all skill levels. We need lower skilled, but we also need higher skilled. We want to invite even. And the bottom line, this is part of wisconsins heritage, you know . My ancestors came from germany to work in factories in beloit, wisconsin, why cant we continue that heritage with inviting guest workers in . Liz mine came from russia and romania. I agree, make it or legal. Beer and cheese and manufacturing. I mean, what more could you want from a state . [laughter] kurt bauer is running the Wisconsin Manufacturers and commerce. Much more on the battle for wisconsin later. Former president ial candidate ben carson is joining Charles Payne on making money. Youve got to see that, 6 p. M. Eastern tonight. The dow is down 63 points, and as you can see, tomorrow, 8 p. M. Eastern, ill be really hurt and offended if you dont at least set your dvr or your tivo. David asman, will you be there . David ill be there. Liz davids going to be there too along with lou dobbs, neil cavuto, all of us. Team fox business. Make sure to tune in. Well be right back. Liz were off the lows of the session. The dow is down 63 points. Not much conviction in the selloff. Lets find out why. Laureate floor of the new york stock exchange. Hi, lori. Liz, all you have to do is look at low volume day. Volume is running 25 bee let average, the monthly average, you can say a lot of people are not that concerned about a mild selloff. If youre looking what specifically is selling off, a lot of consumer names. Really right now the 10 s p sectors, health care classic defensive play. Only industry in the green at the moment. Liz . Liz lori, thank you very much. We saw ultimate drag race. Quantum boeing 737, watch this, versus tesla model s. There is the cockpit. Qantas bowing boeing, 737 down a runway. That equates to 11 billion worth of backlog orders. The 359,000 car is not scheduled for sale until 2017. The stock is moving higher by 3 and 2 3. Lets go to gerber kawasaki, ross gerber. Can they deliver by 2017 all those orders. No. I think they will not get them out to 2018. They have more orders they can deal within a year. If you want a test last, recommend you get in line now. Amazing vehicle. Super impressed by what elon musk has done. Liz can they deliver . Elon is be a aggressively businessman and i love it, and they push his employees really hard and they get there but behind a couple months will not change the long term history. Liz from electric cars to energy youre always looking for value, energy gotten so cheap. We see how popular tesla has become. That is me and elon getting into the car i think in 2007, tell me what is the energy trade at this moment, that you guys look at gerber kawasaki . We look at it, we broke into this whole Energy Sector is the pipelines. We really think that the profit and opportunity is in transportation and movement of natural goose and oil that has to stay here. We might see production come down here in the United States. So on, so forth. In the end well do eight million plus barrels a day and tons of natural gas. So we like the end of the pack, the refineries and pipelines a lot right now. Liz on our screen we have your other ideas, buy energy bonds, eight to 15 yields in twoyear horizon. Any names there . There is a lot of name in Energy Material like fcx or freeportmcmoran, a Strong Mineral company with dividend defendable and assets that are sellable. We like the bonds. When ever there is lot of stress in the sector you can usually find great values in the bonds. What you have to look for are ones that arent hurting that bad. The ones that are okay. Ones really cheap. David great to see you, ross gerber. Great to see you. Liz second day of the quarter. [closing bell rings] lifetime highs, vodafone, travelers, mcdonalds.
