Billionaire Businessman Donald Trump rolling out a new campaign ad using the socalled establishment not so kind words against them. Senior policy adviser Steven Miller rolls out for that. Well off the lows, the Dow Jones Industrial average down 18 points, about a tenth of a percent. We are less than an hour to the closing bell. Im Ashley Webster in for liz claman, let us start the countdown. Well, as just said, the markets off slightly trying to get back to level where we started the day. The dow on track to be down for a third day in a row, longest losing streak since february, and for the week, all three of the major u. S. Indices down for the first time in six weeks. Russell edging ever so slightly higher. Commodities are moving down, gold up about 3 for the week, trading near lowest level for about a month, down a couple of months now. Oil snapping fiveweek winning streak. Names like chevron, conocophillips equal. Exxonmobil moving higher as oil prices have dropped. Worst performing sector is the financials. The names on the screen. Bank of america, citigroup moving lower. Morgan stanley off 1. 75 . Back to the story weve been covering all week. A missing kentucky couples family reportedly disgusted after being told the pair have been found alive in a brussels hospital only to learn that later that information given to them was wrong. This as fears are growing that the same isis cell could be responsible for both the paris and brussels attacks. Fox business adam shapiro in the newsroom with the latest on the developing story, adam . Reporter officials may have missed an opportunity to prevent tuesdays deadly terror attacks in brussels. Brahim elbakraoui one of the dead suicide bombers was deported twice by turkey. Officials in turkey say they suspected elbakraoui was a militant fighter trying to j isis in syria. First deportation was administrative deportation and elbakraoui requested to be sent to the netherlands in 2015, and they confirmed that, but returned to turkey in august and deported a second time. Turkish president erdogan says authorities in belgium ignored a warning that elbakraoui was a militant. Belgian authorities did know about his brother khalids past. Prosecutors say khalid elbakraoui was the subject of International Arrest warrant linking him to the paris terrorist attacks. Khalid elbakraoui was killed at the subway station. Police are looking for the suspect you see dressed in white photographed with the other two airport suicide bombers and say they are now looking for a second person who they believe assisted in the bombing of the subway station. The attacks in brussels killed 31, injured 300 others. Terror investigators say isis trained at least 400, possibly as many as 600 fighters to carry out attacks throughout europe. Terrorist suspect Salah Abdeslam says he did not know about the bombings in brussels. Abdeslam was arrested last friday in brussels for possible role in the november paris attacks that killed 130 people. At an extradition lawyering abdeslams lawyer said his client wants to be extradited to france as soon as possible to stand trial. He planned to fight extradition but he changed his mind so he can explain himself. Extradition hearing will resume april 7th. Ashley im not sure the people of france want to hear what he has to say. Thank you very much. One day before the brussels attacks, the house passed a bill Setting InternationalBorder Security standards. What does that mean . Is it enough . Joining me is congressman lee zeldin, a member of the u. S. Army reserves. Thank you for joining me. Tell me about the bill, what does it do . Does it go far enough . We have a serious concern with regard to foreign Fighter Movement abroad from one country to another, not just a concern within our own borders. We are seeing an issue hours after the counterterrorism screening assistance act passed the house, we see the attack in brussels, belgium. We need to have standards looking at one country to the next to note which ones of the highrisk countries, which are the mediumrisk countries. We provide foreign aid to countries which we can better leverage to increase Border Security standards and we have a lot of equipment supplies in surplus that were not using that we can provide to some of the countries and put it to good use to increase Border Security standards. There are many different facets to the bill, getting to the important objective of helping stop foreign Fighter Movement between countries. Ashley we know the u. S. Is very good at this. Very good counterterrorism. Youre only as good as weakest link. What weve seen coming out of belgium is a lot of missed opportunities and a sense that authorities there are overwhelmed trying to stop the terror cells. How does that play into your bill if were relying on people that cant get the job done . So, there are several countries where we are finding highrisk countries where they have lax Border Security standards, not doing enough to fight terrorism. We need to have objectives and better leverage our assets what we provide abroad by taking this objective standard and say to a particular country, you are a highrisk country. You need to up your game or we may not be able to help you in the same way we have in the past. We need to better leverage the resources that we provide abroad because as you point out, were only strong as our weakest link and theres way too much foreign fighter travel in the middle east, europe and elsewhere. Ashley here in the west, we take great pride in our democracy and the ability to move freely. That plays right into the hands of the terrorists themselves. How do you walk that line . How can we stop people from doing this when we live in such an open and free society . We have issues that are opportunities to increase our Border Security, and not just at our borders, its any way that someone can enter our country. Part of it has to do with our intelligence capabilities. Just about one year ago where two queens women, queens, new york, found with propane tanks, every intention of detonating Pressure Cooker bombs in new york. Part of what we need do is up our Border Security. Stopping those who are trying to get in, in any way, shape, or form, and through our intelligence and Law Enforcement, hopefully foil these plots before they come to reality. Ashley and how concerned are you, congressman that, that reality, what weve seen happen in belgium and paris could happen on american soil . Yeah, and as we were reminded in san bernardino, here at home, and what weve seen abroad in belgium and in paris, this is a huge threat to our homeland with the plots that are foiled and the constant reminders, and also a reason why we need to stand with belgium, stand with france because it could be them today, it could be us next time, and were all in this fight together in order to defeat those who are attacking, murdering the innocent in the name of islam. Ashley thank you very much, congressman lee zeldin, we appreciate it. Thank you. Ashley not everything is red on wall street today. Take a look at s p 500 leaders. Staples near the top. The Office Supply giant moving higher after a federal judge criticized the federal trade commission in courtroom fight to stop takeover of office depot. Both stocks moving up nicely. Staples up 7 . The Ticker Symbol tivosoaring on reports that the company is set to be sold to rovi, rovi, not a great response, down 1. 5 . Senator ted cruz in dane, wisconsin taking a factory tour. He did address reporters calling trump a sniffeling coward in response to the comments about the wives. Cruzs appeal to wisconsin voters important. Not only is the state a winnertakeall but as a midwestern state could set the precedent for the northern states to come and ted cruz took the lead in a new national poll. Im joined now by a democratic strategist and a republican strategist. Thank you, both for joining us today. Kevin, let me begin with you. Less than two weeks away from the wisconsin primary. Those suggest its close to a mustwin for ted cruz. He needs to win 80 something percent of the remaining delegates out there. How would you respond . A mustwin for ted cruz, hes lobbying hard in trying to get Governor Walker to endorse him ahead of the primary. Tough to see any scenario in which ted cruz gets 1237 delegates. The longer he stays in, the tougher he fights the tough ser it for trump to get to the delegate math. Youre trying to see how does the field narrow . Whats making this happen . The cruz people want john kasich out. John kasich is saying if im out, the votes go to trump, not you. This is a mess right now. Ashley it is a mess. Highly entertaining too for us in the media. Its fascinating. Let me get to craig and talk about bernie sanders. Shocked everyone, including the pollsters, winning michigan. What are you expecting in wisconsin . Hell be strong in wisconsin. I think that hes not likely to win the nomination but will be strong there, and recently ive been thinking of him as the energizer bunny. Keep on going when it becomes mathematically impossible. He should do reasonably well in wisconsin. Ashley craig, bernie keeps going, we feel the bern. Certainly Hillary Clinton feels the bern. Is he pushing her further to the left and does that alienate her when it comes to modern voters coming to the election presidency . I looked at the national polls, she is doing significantly better than trump. 11 points ahead. I think one of the reasons sanders is staying in the race and the reason hell stay in after its mathematically impossible to win the nomination is to advocate his issues and pull the party in that direction. Ashley you were seeing Hillary Clinton speaking live at the university of Southern California right now. Kevin, so much is said about what happens if there is a contested brokered convention. Who wins in that . I would say which candidate would win, but could the democrats come out the winner of that situation . Well, what you had the opportunity, the reason democrats could win is if a group of republican voters, either group feels disenfranchised and not motivated to show up. Truth is i think, if the republicans pull a third party thing she a different scenario. Hillary clinton is going to motivate republicans. You are seeing a candidate on the left who has not motivated her own base, unless the republicans really screw this up, im not saying theyll win, but theyre going to be motivated less because of their candidate and more because they have such a distrust for Hillary Clinton. Ashley very quickly kevin, a followup, close to 60 of voters say even if donald trump doesnt get the exact number, 1237 delegates, they believe he should be the one that moves forward because of his performance in the primary. If he is not the chosen one, how much does that upset the vote . I think for some reason, the people who have been motivated like donald trump are not. A group of voters come out and voted for him in fervor, excited support. If they feel hes robbed and theyre disenfranchised somehow, thats not only going to affect the election, it has the potential to turn off voters who supported him for a long time. Its difficult for the party. At the same time, a lot of conservatives are saying hes not a conservative, we dont want him. Lots of challenges in both parties right now. Ashley craig, to you, are the democrats loving the infighting among the gop, the establishment, the anything but Trump Movement . Is it good news for the democrats . Look, i think whats going on with donald trump is bad for the country and bad for the republican party. I think its a disaster for them in the general election. He will have the most negative ratings of any candidate who wins the nomination in anybodys history. Bad for the republican party, whether or not hes the nominee, its bad for the country. A a democrat, i dont take joy in it, i think the positions he represents are so offensive that we shouldnt want them to be part of a major partys nominee. Ashley but hes getting the support, despite all of that. Well quickly. Hes getting 35 to 40 of the republican vote. It is indication that republicans really dont want him but havent come up with an effective strategy to stop him. Ashley you agree, kevin . Im out of time, i have to finish the thought. A tough argument. There is not a very appealing democrat either. A lot of people are disillusioned right now. Ashley leave it there. Craig and kevin, thank you, both for joining us. Thank you, sir. Donald trump leading in the polls, ignore you, racking up delegates moving him closer and closer to the republican nomination. Can trump really selffund a general Election Campaign . Thats why charlie is here, our fox business senior correspondent. Is he urting for cash right now . I can tell you what i know is going on with the rnc, the Republican National committee, and what they are doing with trump. What we understand right now, and take it for what its worth, from rnc officials they are having preliminary discussion with the trump people about using rnc money during the general election, so remember, donald said hes going to selffinance his campaign. So far he has, in the nomination, and the nomination process, but hes doing that by loaning his campaign money, we should point out. He probable leapts it back at some point. The general election hes been more obtuse about. What we understand now, and he doesnt have the general election wrapped up yet, we should point out, obviously the favorite, hes a frontrunner. He is at this point now having discussions with the rnc about their money. Ashley did they approach him . Do you know that . If they did, it shows they are thinking this is a possibility. I think yes, and if i had to bet, they approached him and listened intensely, okay . Intently. And i would say this the rnc has a pool of money of 25 million dollars, which they can literally just give to you to cover expense, you need anywhere from 500 to a billion dollars. And a pool of money which they raise, which could be potentially a lot of money. Ashley it doesnt all go donald . Lot of handcuffs, he gets some of that. They are having discussions with his people about that pool of money and the other pool of money. Remember, he says hes selffinancing. Ashley which is true up to now. Very difficult to finance a general election. The rnc is definitely having some preliminary discussions about them using. Ashley they are preparing for the possibility, clearly. Right . And hes preparing for the possibility, about possibly using their money and not settle only selffinancing. Donald said hes worked 10 billion, liquid securities are around 700 million. He has a bunch of money in hedge funds, which there was a report, the hedge funds, many losing money right now. So he is, if you really want to spend you got to spend 500 million dollars. Ashley insane amount of money. But he has to understand some of that money, if he gets to that point has to go to other candidates and protecting seats in the senate. Its for Party Building. Ashley Party Building . Not talking about under a big tent with drinks. There is some handcuffs there, but still, its going to be one issue if he takes this money. One question hes going to face, okay, are you really selffinancing your campaign if you are taking rnc money. Whether you directly raise money or not, are you selffinancing . Ashley hell find a way around it, im sure. I dont know around it. Hes going to take it and speak around. Ashley interesting stuff. The brussels attack changing travel plans for many. Election 2016 whargs a ride its been already with, wisconsin in the gop sights, senator ted cruz ramping up against frontrunner donald trump and might be working, according to the latest National Fox News poll, support for the texas senator doubled to 38 . Thats just three points behind trump, and trump is taking notice, launching a brandnew web ad attacking ted cruz on his latest endorsements. What would your message be to ted cruz . Have a little selfrestraint. Like every other politician, says whatever he needed to get elected. Ted cruz is not my favorite by any means. [ laughter ] we laugh, pretty effective. Im joined by stephen miller, Senior Policy Adviser for Donald Trumps president ial campaign. Stephen, thank you for joining us. Hes very good at these. Are you responsible for these ads . They are very effective. No, i wish i could take credit. Im not responsible for the advertisements, but theres actually something very significant from a policy standpoint, and as you know i am the policy adviser, about what mr. Cruzs endorsements do say. For instance, Lindsey Graham and jeb bush have both endorsed mr. Cruz. Lindsey graham and jeb bush are the poster children for open borders policies in america. And they both think clearly that ted cruz is the candidate who will keep our borders open. Ted cruz got the endorsement for the club for growth. The group that pushed the most offshoring trade policies of any group in remember. I remember when we were fighting to crack down on china currency cheating, it was the club for growth that sided with ted cruz to keep chinas cheating in place. The endorsements tell thought cruz candidacy is the candidacy committed to keeping our borders open and sending our manufacturing jobs overseas. If endorsements mattered that much, jeb bush would still be in the race, right . Nobody thinks that endorsements are the most important thing in the cycle. I find endorsements noteworthy. These are mr. Cruzs policies. I worked in the senate during the big fight over obamas trade bill. The fast track executive authority. Ted cruz was working sidebyside with president obama to pass the fasttrack authority. Mr. Obama is cruzs best ally. If ted cruz were fighting with us to stop it, instead of fighting with obama to get conservative opposition. That changed the course of american history. Millions of jobs are threatened including wisconsins jobs because of ted cruzs reckless support for the obama trade agreement. Ashley ted cruz, this is name calling and i hate to further it. He called donald trump a sniveling coward. This has no place in the campaign, would you agree . I think that mr. Cruzs comment is deeply unfortunate, but one of the reasons why im so glad to be on your program right now is we get to talk about what really is at stake in this race . Weve just seen in belgium one of the most horrifying terrorist attacks that any of us could possibly imagine. Mr. Trump has been clear that if he is president , we will pause the migration programs to do a full and complete security assessment. Ted cruz in 2013 pushed an amendment to double muslim immigration. So again, ted cruz is the candidate of offshoring and the candidate of radically expanded muslim migration. No wonder why all the special interests and the donor class powers controlling d. C. Are lining up behind ted cruz. They know if ted cruz is president , which hell never be, well continue the massive pace of migration and continue sending manufacturing jobs overseas. Stephen, hes also calling for the monitoring of muslim communities and taken a lot of flack for that saying you cannot monitor people based on religion alone. There has to be a reason for it. Thats kind of the criticism that donald trump got . Well, i think we can all agree its been very painful to watch the Cruz Campaign try and explain his own position. I dont think anyone understands what it is. What i can tell you is, is our position makes a lot more sense than the cruz position. Our position is lets stop allowing people to come into the country from dangerous and volatile regions in they can make sure we have security mechanisms in place. Cruzs policy is continue the rapid pace of migration and have police in the communities to figure out whats going on. . Keep the threat abroad or domestically . Thats a major distinction in the race, and im glad we get a chance to talk about it today. Ashley we have to end it there, stephen miller, Trump CampaignSenior Policy Adviser. Thank you so much. Ashley with passenger flights to brussels suspended following tuesdays terror attacks, will people decide to cut out travel to europe as we head into the busy Summer Travel season . You couldnt blame people for thinking twice about it. Gerri willis with the details on that. Reporter weve been talking to the folks on the travel websites, expedia, travelocity, all day. Theyre starting to look at them but dont have every detail. Analysts say the impact of what happened is unlikely to be any longer than short to medium term. So a few weeks at the most. Euro monitor international expects a 1020 decline in bookings to the European Capital in the coming weeks, meaning brussels. Heres a piece of good news, a ray sunshine. Terror takes the least amount of time to recover of all the big problems that you have with a tourist destination. It takes about 13 months to recover from disease, 21 months, environmental disaster, two years, like a tsunami. Political unrest, even longer than that. Now, were seeing big implications for stocks. The three Biggest Airline carriers, american is down 9. 7 . Delta trading 4. 9 lower. And United Continental down 5. 6. The numbers im citing arent the daily trading numbers, this is how much theyre down since the events of the bombing in brussels. Its taking a real toll on a lot of travel companies, Public Companies and of course well continue to keep an eye on this for you. Ashley i remember after the terrorist attacks, travel was curtailed by 50 but it did come back in the following weeks that followed. Interesting. Gerri willis, thank you very much. Interesting stuff. Youre welcome. Ashley take a look at the big board for you. Dow believe it or not is going to be closed. The markets we turn positive. Were up 8 points at 17,511. Can we close out on the upside . Google bought at least six other Robotics Companies in 2013. Yep, thats robot abuse. Right there. The race against terror is on as we know it in the wake of the deadly attacks in brussels. Government agencies are accelerating investigation of potential plots helped by u. S. Companies and even the Hacking Group anonymous. Chief council jamil jafr joins us with how the government is wage their cyberwar on isis, and whos winning that fight. Jamil, thank you for joining us. Social media is such a huge part how isis operating. They recruit, they also Exchange Messages in the socalled dark areas of the internet, where it is highly encrypted. Because of that, are we losing the battle against isis with regard to cyber warfare . Well, look, they certainly are, as you point out extensively using cyberspace for recruiting. Out there planning attacks and the like, and you know, were not really winning that battle nor the battle on the ground, and across the board, we are not treating this as the war it really is. Taking limited action on the battlefield, airstrikes and the like, and in sierp space, were letting it happen us to. Hacking our accounts and websites and defacing us, theres not much we can do. Ashley a 14yearold kid in russia can hack into the pentagon. How can we stop isfris doing what theyre doing . Hard to get your hands around. I think what youve got to be able to do is collect the intelligence you need and act on it in real space. We limited our collection in cyberspace and on normal means of communication, and thats the real problem when you look at san bernardino, paris and brussels now. Limiting our own collection is a selfimposed challenge. Ashley this hasnt been confirmed but there are reports that twitter has been suspending thousands of accounts that bear the hashtag isil, another term for isis. To your analogy of whackamole, does that really have an impact . I think its important we work with the industry to do the right thing and to take the accounts offline. If theyre used to transit jihadi propaganda or worse, bomb making instructions and the like, weve got to take that stuff down. Theres no benefit to society from those types of things, and i applaud twitter for taking that action, if thats what theyre doing. Ashley the Hacking Group anonymous that do what they say tip that that they want to do. They are a challenging group, they go after the government. They go after normal people, they also go after groups like isis. So i guess in some ways theyre a frenemy, and to see whether they are effective, they declared war on isil before and had positive efforts there. But they havent certainly not defeated isis in any way, shape, or form in cyberspace. Ashley take another step back, jamil, beyond isis, when we think of hackers, we think of china, russia. And iranians getting control of the dam over new york two or three years back. Is that where the bigger threat lies, do you think . Nation states are a problem in cyberspace. They have advanced capabilities. Russia, china, long had significant cyberspace capabilities. What you see is countries like north korea and iran getting advanced cybercapabilities, and the concern there is russia and china have a lot of reasons why they may not engage in major cyberattacks in the united states, they may apply less in places like iran and increasingly north korea. Ashley ive got to ask you about the fight between apple and the fbi. Fascinating that all of the people came out of woodwork and approached the fbi and said you need help . We can help you here. My first take is does it mean the iphones are not as hack proof as i thought they were . Certainly thats certainly the case now as weve seen. The fbi has a way into the phone without apples help. Is it better for privacy . My theory is its not. Youve taken the courts and apple out of equation. Fbi is free to use private companys hack. It can be selling it to other people out there that are more problematic. Ashley good point. Should in your mind, in this one specific case, should apple allow the fbi to access the info on the phone . Or is that a dangerous, slippery slope . Youve got to find a way for the government and the companies to work together. Apple is resisting and the government must have everything completely. Weve got to reconcile that. What ends up happening is an attack happens and congress is forced to respond, at the end of the day, that will throw privacy and security out the window. Ashley an ongoing issue. Jamil jaffer, thank you very much for talking to us about cybersecurity. Appreciate it. Moments ago, senator particularing it holding a News Conference in dane, wisconsin, accusing donald trump of attacking his wife saying shes offlimits and so much more. Listen. I dont get angry often, but you mess with my wife, you mess with my kids, that will do it every time. Donald, youre a snivelling coward and leave heidi the hell alone. Will you support him as a nominee . Ashley wow, straight down the barrel of the camera. One can only imagine what donald trump is going to do in reply.
