Also the revenue guidance from alcoa was weaker than expected put that all together, not a great way to kick off the earnings season, alcoa getting punished down some 11 . I dont think it had anything to do with selloff and rumors of opec and other things were seeing is little bit of fear in the oil space. Well look, from al gore to bernie sanders, the Democratic Party has come together while donald trump is on a tirade, you know, destroying the Republican Party and really dividing americans and so the Democratic Party is come together. They are three points ahead in florida. Hillary clinton has a national lead, almost in double digits in national polls. So this is a, you know what was a competitive election and now she has got a substance lead and donald trump has only himself to blame. He is divider. Paul ryan should have known that before he stepped up. And unfortunately it caused great damage but this is typical of the establishment of the Republican Party. May 2015, month two of the clinton email story, Campaign Spokesman bryan fallon emailed the top Campaign Aides he was given a heads up from within the department of justice about a filing for proposed production schedule for clintons emails to be released. As you might imagine that did not sit well with republicans. In fact the rnc set out a statement saying of clinton, im quoting here, instead of facing consequences for her actions like others have she has been protected at ery turn by the Obama Administration so she ca continue failed policies of the last eight years. I asked the Clinton Campaign for a response . Their statement targeted trump. Quoting here. Donald trump has once again cheered on russian hacking after he willfully misrepresented at debate that hacking may not be happening. Separately, additionally wikileaks shows coziness between the Clinton Campaign and media outlets, new york times, cnbc, univision and cnn in one email donna brazile, then of cnn acting Democratic National committee chair, shown to have emailed clinton staff ahead of cnn debate a question she shays she saw beforehand. The title of that very email was quote, from time to time i get the questions in advance. Now brazile put out a Statement Today denying any wrongdoing. Writing quote i neve to questions and would never share them with candidates if i did. Two out of a whole long list from that third batch earlier today. Melissa i dont understand. Does it surprise you, because for me, i mean, i think it kind of goes without saying that the media basically supportive of the Clinton Campaign, right . I dont think that is quite it. I think that there is a, there is sort of bizarre relationship that happens between journalists and their source as lot david by the way, john harwood of cnbc were seeing, go ahead. Yes. Somebody like a john harwood would have, these really cozy relationships with potential sources. John has reached out to me in the past, asking me what is your take on x, y and z. Journal its do that hopes of getting Comfort Level with people. When it comes to the cnn issue and donna brazile, the fault in that case false on donna, less so than cnn doesnt seem like concerted for cnn to help with the Clinton Campaign. When you have partisan commentators you have dual loyalty thing going on. At do you do if you have a piece of information that can help your campaign . Clearly in this case the email says one thing. Donnas comments afterwards say another. That is par for the course. David let me give steve a chance to weigh in here on the russian angle. The Clinton Campaign is trying desperately to link donald trump and russia and they are helping wikileaks because they want to see donald trump. Do europeans or british in particular buy any of that . I dont think they focused on that part of it and the reason that is something relevant here in america you hear all this stuff about russians hacking and trying to influence the election but you havent actually had the president make a serious intervention on that because if that is true, and if they know that that is true, then why arent they really raising it officially with the russian government, making a big deal of it. David good point. If they did that, that would be a Big International story and people might take it seriously as well as people here. David mustafa, one angle, the Clinton Campaign is talking about elevating the paid pipers of the Republican Party, in particular donald trump as somebody who would divide the party and pull it to an extreme that the independents wouldnt go for. Is there any truth to that . Well look, donald trump is dividing the Republican Party. That is obvious. David but did the dnc have a plan to do that, to push that strategy . Nobody has to push that strategy. Donald trump is look at his tweets last night with paul ryan. But look, there is a consensus amongst the Intelligence Community that the russians are the ones that are behind the hacks. We found a Russian Company on an interview that said theyre the ones that have been doing it on behest of the kremlin. The evidence is overwhelming that the russians are behind the hacks. Theyre giving it to wikileaks. David do you think the russians are working with the Trump Campaign, that is the question mustafa . Look the last chairman of the Trump Campaign was a registered Foreign Agent connected to, you know david youre going there . Resigned because of that. She endorsed the seven of the obama 20 taxes, that directly hit middle income people including a tax that forces you into obamacare. She hasnt finished the sentence, i will tax them first but been very free and her tax hikes on middle income americans and her chief of staff, podesta, not from wikileaks, but from his own mouth, he endorsed the, he said they are going to do a vat, not just right away on energy.
