Another big day for earnings. Amazon, googles Parent Company called alphabet, of course, and cbs out any moment. Its a busy hour. Im david asman. Melissa im melissa francis. The dow is ending in the red for the Third Straight day while s p 500 and nasdaq managed to eke out gains second day in a row, just barely though. Phil flynn, price futures group, fox business contributor. Watching a big joltrom natural gas in the cme. Lori rothman watching ford having horrendous day. Reporter everything is moving on earnings. Either up if it is good news or down on bad news. Boy, basically bad news for ford. Ford blasted whole Auto Industry the turnaround for the Auto Industry is over. Profits came way down and as a result. Facebook report ad blowout quarter. Closing off on the session. Back to facebook. This is a much better story. Up 1 1 3 on the session, adding 10 billion in market cap, bringing total market cap value to 362 billion. Great news for mark zuckerberg. I dont have figure off the top of my head but you know he made some cash. More marquee names in a moment. Melissa amazon, Second Quarter result, Ashley Webster in the newsroom. What do you have . Reporter doing a doubletake, but look at earnings per share first, estimated right around 1. 11. Coming in at 1. 78 on revenue of 30. 4 billion. That means that sales are up 31 . That beats the estimate of 29. 55 billion. Already were seeing shares, amazon shares had a good day today, up 2 . Were just keeping an eye on those in afterhours. But the headline numbers are impressive. Were going to dig just a little deeper to find out about Cloud Computing and Third Party Sales and all of that good stuff. David wow. Ashley, thank you very much. Were going to bring in a panel. Kevin kelly, recon capital partners, jeff taylor, digital risk cofounder and daniel bader, senior he had of mobile nations in toronto. Gentlemen, these are blow away numbers. Kevin, let me to to you first. It was enough for estimate of 1. 11 per share, 480 increase a year ago from their earnings. But to come in at 1. 78 per share, is that possible . Yeah it is possible and we alluded to it earlier with amazon web services. I think that is actually what is helping them beat especially on the earnings side. One of the reasons why it is such a high margin business. It is growing so fast an rapidly. Were seeing it drop to the bottom line which helped them over the past four quarters. David okay. I probably attribute it david hold on gang we have numbers coming in fast an furious. Alphabet other known as google, those earnings are coming in. Liz macdonald following that. Emac, what do you got . Reporter beat on eps line, 8. 42. Street was looking for 8. 04. Overall revenue a beat as well. Coming in at 21 billion. 21. 88 billion. Street was looking for 20. 76 billion. Were looking for net sales number, google, alphabet pays a lot in acquisition cost in traffic. Street was looking for 60. 9 billion. Im seeing a number could be 15. 46 billion. That could be a miss. 6. 6 so tracking Share Performance as developments come in from the Google AlphabetConference Call. Back to you guys. David well go back to amazon. First lets dig into google a bit. Melissa daniel, what do you think of those numbers . I think they represent something weve been hearing a lot about. Google has transitioned to mobile really well. Were concerned about the acquisition costs for mobile users and they seem to be weathering that fairly well. When it comes to competitors like facebook, theyre still a little bit ahead there, even though facebook is encroaching somewhat on its search traffic. So google and alphabet as a whole firing on all cylinders. Melissa jeff, what do you think, compare their transition to mobile compared to facebook. Facebook is the story of the past 24 hours. How do you compare the two . If you look at google, alphabet is doing it for years. The Search Engine set them up so well. Now it is making the transition. Honestly for the long play i think Google Alphabet is very wellpositioned to compete with facebook going forward. Melissa kevin, do you agree with that . Yeah, i completely agree with that. One. Reasons why you have to see alphabet is in the three hottest sectors right now when it comes to computing. Theyre in streaming, via youtube. Theyre in mobile with their Android Devices as well as Cloud Computing and one of the things that hampered them last quarter was the big rise to mobile advertising. Thats where they dominate. Melissa right. Those impacts on the margins because those ads cost less. Melissa well pause right there. We have another earnings alert. Cbs reporting Second Quarter results. Lori, what do you have . Reporter a beat for cps. 96 cents a share. 3. 29 billion in revenue versus the wall street expectation of 3. 21 billion. So that is pretty much all the company saying. We do know earlier in the session doing a lot to enhance shareholder value. They plan to buy back 6 billion, increase of 1 billion at end of june. Boosting the Quarterly Dividend by 20 . That is significant to 18 cents a share to shareholders on the record. Send it back over to you. David kevin, i want to go to you first because this is a stock some people say got ahead of itself. It is up 15 this year. Not a lot of movement afterhours even though it was a clear beat on top and bottom line. Why is that . This is been anticipated. One of the reasons we have seen revenue driving off political cycle as well as increased advertising. David nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with that. But will be a tough comp. David some. Best tv stations in the world have done this. They have risen over 15 so far this year. This will be tough for comparables next quarter and quarter after. It will be hard for them to continue the pace of growth especially once the olympics are over as well as the political season. Melissa all right. Lets take closer well, lets go back to alphabet and talk about that one a little bit more. Daniel, this dichotomy here everybody is always talking about is the idea that advertising pays a lot less when youre on mobile versus desktop. Theyre making that transition. They have to kind of do it because where everybody else but how is that a concern for investors . How do you parse that . Eventually mobile will take a different form. We see google introducing new services at its google io developer conference earlier this year. They announced a new messaging app which weve seen in Asian Countries like japan and china is the next frontier in terms of mobile search. We see google home, which is amazon echos competitor coming to market later this year. That introduces a whole new version of search possibilities with voice search and allows people who wouldnt otherwise go to the google web page, to really start interacting with the companies ecosystem. Melissa jeff what about that . How much potential do you think google home has . It is that cool idea of everything connected to the internet, versus an idea of google following you around our house and recording your every move and selling to advertisers. David i dont like that. Melissa being the creepy cloud that is following you around the house . That is where it is going. Google and amazon playing in these spaces. I a amazon echo at home. Every day they come out with more applications to make your smart house for a true smart house for very little amounts money. This is space continuing to grow. It is future. Amazon and alphabet are two best positioned to play in the market. Melissa you have the echo . You dont feel like it is creepy . You want to know something . I dont feel like it is creepy. I feel like it is convenient. Melissa give me an example. What do you do that you couldnt do otherwise . For starters, if im in the kitchen, okay, thought comes to my head, add it to my list. Buy milk, comes straight to the iphone, having thought, forgetting 15 seconds later. Other things, turning on to my nest to the actually my ac control. I can speak to that and it can change it. It is future. Those are things, especially millenials coming into the marketplace they kind of expect those things. Im looking 43 years old it is little bit different. Those are almost expected in Younger Generation and biggest buying demographic. Melissa kevin, that sound fantastic and lose my temper and yell at my kids and record it, send it to my husbands phone and know i was short with them in the afternoon. I love that idea. Weighs eight ounces so you can throw it out the window. Melissa perfect. I like that. Kevin this is where were going. I will have to edit the language when this device is following me around the house, right . Well have to see more adaptation happening right now. That is not a big push or driver significantly with revenues. Really driving revenues theyre trying to do the market share on the mobile. Weve seen that happen with google, visavis alphabet as well as amazon but here is what you need to think about. They are the drivers when it comes to these internet of things for the homes, whether youre buying it from your ecommerce website or developing them. And costs are not that expensive. What they have done, it is not impacting their overall bottom line. That is what is important if youre investor looking at these stocks. Melissa okay. David pivot back to amazon. Talking about things everywhere virtually these days this is something everywhere. Everybodys doorstep has the box from amazon prime. Seem everyone does, jeff. A 20 this is the time, granted president obama is saying economy is going great guns. It is not. Kind of me anderring along. Retailers hoping for one or 2 . Amazon had 27 increase in sales. How is that possible . For starters theyre growing more globally. They opened up in india and prime now with prime, you literally know on the app and know it is there the next day. Another interesting thing to see how much amazon can actually grow in next year or two years. Going to be called the last mile. Obviously they need close locations to get product there is that quickly. David right. Some of those industrial warehouses in big cities all over the country, how they actually partner with them in cost of those are skyrocketing. Off amazon, what people say how do i buy it at these levels, im starting to follow some reits like stag and pro list, basically providing Warehouse Space in the u. S. And nationally. David by the way, very interesting. Look at numbers afterhours here. The close was 752. They blew away their revenue number. Expecting 1. 11. Got over 1. 70 per share. After hours the bid is a little low from where it closed. Daniel, there are some problems. Everything is not smooth sailing for amazon. Prime is doing great guns in the United States but not so much elsewhere. Overseas, youre in canada. It is not quite caught on overseas as it has here in the u. S. , right . No. Amazon has similar problem to netflix in some ways when it comes to content, licensing. They introduced prime in canada a few years ago, but never had the sam Value Proposition it has in the United States. And that is because they just cant offer the same breadth of services and content that they do in its home country. They are seeing that same problem. David will they ever be able to do that . Do you think there may be some way in the future, where transocean, commerce is more efficient than it is now . Absolutely. Weve seen a decrease in overseas transportation but really what amazon needs to do is open up Fulfillment Centers in countries in europe and asia, places like india. They are doing that, but that cost, another guest said, sorry forgot your name, costs a lot of money. As we know amazon needs to push prime into as many peoples wallets as possible. Theyre doing a good job but it is more than just getting packages quickly. David kevin, there is another service or product, actually its a service, amazon provides aws. Becoming a huge business, how online computing, online television, is such, absolutely key to making money in the new age, the new cloud age but there is a lot of competition for aws. Microsoft is getting into it. A lot of other companies. Good, Competitive Companies are getting into the same line. Are they going to present a challenge to aws . Well, there is plenty of space to grow. Were seeing, were just scratching the surface when it comes to Cloud Computing on demand services theyre providing. What is important to note, they are the clear leader in the space. Not way these apps spurred up providing all convenience would exist without amazon. I use venmo, which is social mobile payment owned by paypal it uses part of aws. Spotify uses it. Really is the backbone of the internet and the mobile revolution and clear winner. They strolled ecosystem. Theyre the uber of the Cloud Computing space. David right. Microsoft provides a different type of service, same with google. Theyre really differentiated. David jeff, another thing about amazon, their Third Party Sales are growing tremendously. A lot of times i want to get into prime product, i see it, im a prime member and it is cheaper and deliver it quickly, they send me to third party, i dont get all the advantages but however they make a lot of money from Third Party Sales, dont they . They do. Come with longer delivery cycles are charge more for actual shipment of them, but making a lot of money off third party products. One thing i point out theyre having a little bit of issue with, sometimes the quality of those products. Theres have been a little bit of push back and authenticity and how they look out for quality control, making sure how those actually perform in the long run. They need to focus on. There that is little more noise youre hearing. Want to trust you hear the prime and it is authentic and works to our expectations. Very, very true. Another earnings alert. Expedia out with results down 9 afterhours. That hurts. Revenue per room is likely to decrease yearoveryear in 2016. Expedia, beating on earnings per share but they came in short on revenue. David . David starz, that company is out with Second Quarter results. Premium tv network. Seen him on your basic. Melissa excellent. David extra. Not at the basic level. Met expectations of eps about 54 cents a share, but fell short of revenue expectations reporting 402 million. I think i watch more television than you do. David i think you do. Starz, im not that crazy about starz. Melissa they have some good stuff. David do they . Melissa girlfriend experience. I will get in trouble for saying that. All right. Tech giants amazon and alphabet trading afterhours. We have more headlines on the results coming up. David another controversy at the Clinton Foundation if there wasnt enough. Now the irs is looking into it. Remember what happened with the fbi, but they say they will give it a thorough examination. What will the irs find out about the Clinton Foundation . Melissa and the Democratic Convention coming to a close with Hillary Clintons big speech tonight, a makeorbreak moment for her campaign. Hillary clinton is saying change. She has been doing this for 30 years. She is not going to change anything. She is totally controlled by the lobbyists and by the special interests. Melissa shares of alphabet, Parent Company of google up more than 3 afterhours after release of companys Third Quarter results. Go back to emac in the newsroom. More details, what did you find there . Reporter revenue numbers are up 24 , nextel basis backs out acquisition costs. A beat, coming in well more than, more than 18 billion in net sales. Were also watching the profits popping 21 . What is really interesting, melissa, google is not just ad sales, right . 21. 5 billion in ad sales, means it is the biggest internet ad sales business, it is also trying to do things like Cloud Computing and other services. So that category is moving higher in gross as well. 8. 96 billion annualized for google, versus 7. 18 billion for all of last year. Google, melissa, here is the thing, eight of 12 quarters disappointed wall street. A solid beat across the board. Well look into the numbers. Digging through more for you as we move ahead. More developments on Alphabet Google coming up. Melissa emac, you rock, thank you. David another 700 stock or more, 700 plus, shares of amazon they have been going crazy after being big on secondquarter earnings. One point they popped up. Then they popped down. At one point they were down 4 . Now they are up again. What is causing all craziness . Ashley webster in the newsroom. I dont know if you have the answer, it has been wild to watch afterhours . Reporter everybody wants to know, dave because there is is interesting. By all accounts a blockbuster Earnings Report. Revenue up 31 . Profits just blowing it out of the park. And you were talking about the web services, that is their Fastest GrowingDivision Within amazon, coming in 2. 89 billion, that is better than expected. Only thing a little odd, and i dont know whether this is accounting for some of the volatility, but the Profit Guidance has a ridiculously wide range. It goes from 50 million, to 650 million. I never seen anything quite with such a huge range. That is kind of strange. At first i thought it was a misprint but is absolutely says, operating income between 50 and 650 million as they look forward. So, boy, theyre hedging their bets there, arent they . David they sure are. By the way, profit they were expecting 480 increase in profits over same period last year. Actually closer to 600 right now, based on reporter absolute blowout. David this is incredible what this Company Managed to do in turn arounding profits. Ashley, thank you very much. That is not all, melissa . Melissa thats right. Cbs secondquarter earnings blowing away expectations on top and bottom line. Are investors still bullish on the media giant . Well dig deeper into the numbers next. Plus, this was the wild scene outside of philadelphia last night. More flag burning expected tonight. We have the latest coming up david cbs earnings release, beating analyst estimates for the Second Quarter. Earnings per share and revenue. Barrington research, you were expecting a little more from revenue. For you didnt meet expectations. They offered to buy back a lot of stock and increasing dividends. That usually raises shares. Afterhours shares are down. Why . Im, can never explain exactly what happened or why the shares might have reacted differently. I think it was a beat on the bottom line. I think they did do better in terms of revenues. For showtime, relative to the may weatherpacquiao fight a year ago. They had to contend with the ncaas, they lost a little bit on revenue but doesnt really affect the profitability. But their margins were generally better, and continue to like cbs. David it is up, the stock is up 15 in 2016. Stock has gone far enough. Maybe that it has why stock is down afterhours . Part of the reason it is back i think it was overdown on the downside earlier. David i see. This is, this is one of the stronger companies. They have a strong Business Model going out for a number of years i believe. David david, strong Business Model but they have a soap opera going on. They do. David Sumner Redstone is it controlling the company that actually controls cbs and viacom. Viacoms chief executive was kicked out. He sent it to court. The very latest on all this by the way is that the court made a decision that favors 94yearold Sumner Redstone. Does all of this soap opera with this gentleman affect shareholders at all . You know, in the case of cbs i think it affects it a little less because les moonves shown himself to be exemption allieder. David unbelievable leader. Right. And, so i think, in the midst of all of the turmoil, cbs really hasnt reacted in the same way that viacom has but viacom also had a number of issues that it had to deal with. Some of their own making, and some that are sort of out of their control in terms of americament of their viewing. David as long as they have les moonves, that guy knows how to steer the ship. Thank you very much, jim. Appreciate you coming in. Quite welcome. Melissa wynn beating expectations on top and bottom line but shares trading down 6 after hours because revenue from las vegas operations shrunk more than 1 . The company approving a Cash Dividend of 50 cents a share. David theyre always doing that, trying to boost the stock value with dividends. Another look at shares of expedia dropping afterhours. The stock is down more than 4 now. As you can see the travel site beating the street on eps but it did come in short on revenue. The Company Warning that revenue per room is likely to decrease yearoveryear in 2016. Melissa all right, more trouble for the Clinton Foundation. An investigation of public corruption. Why the irs is getting involved. David plus another busy day for the trump campaign. Yes, they are going strong, even with the dnc active in their convention. The gop nominee gearing up for a rally in iowa with his vp pick mike pence. Can they steal the spotlight on clintons big night . They are hitting me at that convention, trump, trump. Theyre going a little crazy because were leading now in the polls were leading. [cheers and applause] were leading. Theyre going crazy youve wished upon it all year, and now its finally here. The mercedesbenz summer event is back, with incredible offers on the mercedesbenz youve always longed for. But hurry, these shooting stars fly by fast. Lease the cla250 for 299 a month at your local mercedesbenz dealer. Mercedesbenz. The best or nothing. David the final night of the Democratic National convention. The spotlight shifting to Hillary Clinton herself as she takes the stage to formally accept the democratic nomination for president after days of protests and a lot of Division Within the party. Peter barnes in philadelphia with the very latest. Peter . Reporter david, the last three nights here we have heard the experts and witnesses, character witnesses if you will, validators they call them and from, Hillary Clintons former boss, president obama, last night himself, to talk about the issues of the economy, social issues, national security, and according to her aides, tonight she will stitch all of this together, the themes over the last three nights to try to argue that she will be better, a better steward of the economy than donald trump, a better champion of the middle class, a unifier and where as she will say trump is a divider. She will abettor commanderinchief than trump. According to an aide this will lay out for voters a moment of reckoning coming up in election day according to them. So, well hear it all from Hillary Clinton tonight. But, for some, democrats, bernie supporters, we want to show you some video. The moment of reckoning has already come. We got video of some of them actually deregistering from the Democratic Party today at a protest in downtown philadelphia. David . David look at that. I wonder, probably go to the green party. Donald trump wants them. Peter, thank you very much. Melissa . Melissa all right. The clintons charity facing more scrutiny, the irs looking into pay for play claims with the Clinton Foundation. Lawmakers urging the agency to review possible criminal conduct at the organization. We have chart ortel who previously found major gaps in the Clinton Global Initiative records. Last time you were on, this is what we were talking about, when is the government going to look into these claims. Now the irs is looking into it. What do you think they are going to find . Wealth difference with this investigation and others is that there is extensive evidence already out in the Public Domain because it has to be in the Public Domain. The Clinton Foundation and many different affiliates part of the Clinton Foundation are all public charities. As we have this broadcast theyre soliciting from the public. The laws around the world require them to issue their tax returns, mostly, entirely for the Public Domain. Melissa we dont have a lot of time. I want to drill down. What is it theyre looking for . Weve seen through the records and what they have put out there, they have done things like a country or company is lobbyi the state department desperately for something. Money changes hand at both personal level for a speech. The clintons bank account and into the foundation and mir rack plusly that body gets whack they want, with the airways in abu dhabi that went against american interests and against american countries. We already know that. Is it like smoking gun email where they outline the quid pro quo, what is it. Actually it is slightly different. The issue is, all major donors with the found decision file with their governments and irs, and there are massive discrepancies for example, what the Gates Foundation says it gave to the Clinton Foundation and what the Clinton Foundation declared coming from the Gates Foundation. From the biggest donor, from governments around the world. In addition this foundation was never validated toking president ial archive. All solicitations for other purposes are illegal. Melissa what tells you, we have sloppy recordkeeping. We have different entities where they just made a mistake. It is not that big of a deal. It doesnt show pay for play . Recently a congresswoman who faces 350 years in prison for 800,000 slush fund. When you have no controls, no audits and this volume of money, over two billion, sloshing towards a charity, set of charities out of control, major problems. Melissa okay, so what is the essential piece of evidence . This is what it came down to in the email scandal as well, that would be the difference between wow, were just not good at recordkeeping, oops, which is how the clintons get away with everything, versus this is evidence that this is our own personal slush fund. Well, this foundation has never actually had an out did. Nobody has ever checked this foundation. That is strictly forbidden. Going back to 1997. They never had a audit. Last time hillary ran in 20078. 100 million is missing in that time frame from the Clinton Foundation books. David wow. Melissa do you have any hope this will turn into everything . As soon as we brought this up, social meet yaw, twitter everywhere, clintons are teflon. They are stealing forever and doing these kind ever things forever. They never get in trouble. Always get out of it as she is closer to being president than ever before . Difference here, there are state and foreign crimes president obama can not pardon. He could pardon federal crimes but not state and not foreign. There are a lot of them i see in the books around the world, going back over 20 years. Melissa charles, we trust you to stay on top of it. Will you stay on top and come back to see us. Doing my best and hope i dont get hit by lightning. Melissa or giant bus driven by somebody from the Clinton Foundation. I thank you. David what i love about charles, harvard mba, former investment banker. Nobody knows how to look into the numbers. Nobody in journalism. Very, very good work. Busy hour for earnings. Were recapping biggest movers of wild trades afterhours. Plus several people arrested outside the Democratic NationalConvention Last night. We should mention these are not bernie folks. These are the anarchists. The bernie foles were against them. Protesters are planning to burn an American Flag once again. Will anybody try to stop them . David amazon was down first, then way up. Now seems to be Holding Steady afterhours. Up little bit. Earnings were absolute blowaway earnings. Ashley webster in the newsroom with more from the Earnings Report. The main thing was, this is a company that wasnt making profits for years. Now their profits are through the roof. Reporter through the roof. From one extreme to the other, david. By any accounts this is a blockbuster Earnings Report. Digging through and going through comments from the company, theyre going to be doubling their spending on video content for the second half of this year. Theyre touting a new tv series including one from woody allen, a reboot of top gear. Also planning for at least three movies that will be seen at movie theaters. Theyre adding 18 more Fulfillment Centers. Jeff bezos, ceo, is not on the Conference Call but he has put out a statement saying he is concentrating how amazon and amazon prime is doing around the world, particularly in india, where they already introduced their web services, amazon prime. Oh, by the way, prime day, which was a big success, up 60 . This is one day for prime amazon prime members only. Get exclusive opportunities to look at the sales that are being offered and it is worldwide. That was up 60 from last year. That is not even included in this report. That will be in the Third Quarter report. So by all accounts, david and melissa, a very impressive Earnings Report indeed. David im glad it is American Company taking over the world, you know . If any company has to take over the world im glad it is american. Melissa for now it is. David right. Melissa earnings alert. Shares of alphabet up 5 afterhours following a beat on the companys Second Quarter results. The Parent Company of google citing stronger advertising demand for its 294 increase in profits. 24 . Liz macdonald in the newsroom. Reporter stock is higher up 25 . Remember last quarter had a big earnings miss and stock basically dropped more than 5 . That was its worst performance in more than four years. Alphabet reporting a 24 in profits, 291 rise in revenues. 21 . Coming from mobile ads, access through the mobile devices. What is really interesting too, watch this number, street talk as lot about this, its cash pile has grown, alphabets cash pile has grown 20 billion in two years time. It now has 78 1 2 billion dollars in cash and equivalents on the balance sheet. What could really fire up the stock . It is a stinker this year. Only moving up fractionally Single Digits yeartodate. What could move the . What could excite the wall street . A twitter acquisition . Would it be wearables like jawbone or fitbit. Uhuh, none of those. What the street is talking about again and again is the cloud. Google is moving with acquisition in the cloud space. It just bought a company that does basically storage for Nbc Universal and fox sports. It is also, amazon, excuse me, googles Cloud Business has spotify in there as well as sky news. So, this is the direction, watch this, this is where alphabets ceos want to take the company is to get more media storage business in their cloud decision. That is running more than 8 billion annualized. It is growing. Back to you. Melissa everyone is headed in that direction. Emac thank you. David aws proved that. Final night of the dnc. Hillary clinton taking to the stage but can she meet the expectations and can she unite a divided party . Our allstar panel is weighing in next. The challenge will be for Hillary Clinton to convince the American People she would be a better commanderinchief to eliminate the terrorist threats that donald trump will be. How can there be pleasure in saying, youre fired he is trying to tell us he cares about the middle class . Give me a break that is a bunch of malarkey. David i havent heard that phrase used in a long time. He did it with a lot of passion. That of course is Vice President joe biden, passionately making the case against donald trump at dnc convention, but his and a lot of other speeches, spent more time it seemed condemning trump than praising hillary, so what is going on . Jessica tarlov and Morgan Ortega what we can expect from tonights events. Ladies, great to see you. Thank you, david. Clearly there is more dislike from the candidates from both sides than any other election in my lifetime. Unfavorables for trump are 57 . Unfavorable for hillary, 55. 6 . So, is that what these conventions are playing with . Rather than, doing all again, to praise their own candidates, focusing more attention condeming the other guy . I certainly think both parties think it is important to highlight the shortcomings of the opposing candidate. We saw that at the rnc and certainly seeing it at dnc i actually think speakers on both sides are trying to make the case for both candidates but they need to drive the point home. David easier to attack the other one . Of course it is easier, certainly is. There are ways you can pick apart records on both sides here which is very difficult point, specifically for the democrats because Hillary Clinton has been in Public Office for so long. I disagree. I think joe biden did make compelling case. David i dont well talk more specifically about that, in the second round. Morgan, what are you hearing . Youre there right now. What are you hearing about what she is going to say tonight . What about her tone . Will she talk about her own plans or spend all the time dumping on trump . You know, david, what i want to see tonight, will the real Hillary Clinton please stand up. What do i mean by that. I feel like she always has this veneer, this wall up with the American People. I actually dont blame her. She has been in political life for well over 30, 40 years, at this point. There has been victory. There has been failure. There has been plenty of scandals to go around. Every time she or her husband do anything. I feel like she is often incredibly guarded with the media, with the american voters. I think that she has really tall order tonight. Last year, or four years ago when bill clinton gave the speech at dnc sort of that moment everyone felt, wow, we think this may be breaking for obama. I havent really felt that this entire week in philly. Even though the president gave a good speech last night i havent felt that moment, she is going to get the bump. She is going to do well. I think it is incumbent upon her. No one is delivering the speech of the week. David i thought they were pretty good speeches last night but again, but jessica, they werent so much about what she brings to the table, the question what does she bring . I know the qualifications. You dont have to go through the resume. Im talking about her accomplishments. What has she actually accomplished as secretary of state . How is she changed the world . What did she do as secretary of state to make the world a better and safer place . Give us her accomplishments. Leon panetta, talked about brokering ceasefire between hamas and israel . Thats it . Im not done. David isis blowing out all over the world, all over the place. All kinds of russia with china and thats it, hamas . It noise it. I will tell you more. We also under her watch as secretary of state and obama made the final call, we took out usama bin laden. She was one of the chief architects putting sanctions. David youre crediting her with taking out usama bin laden . No. She was part of the team. Obama talked about how forcefully he pushed for that something he initially didnt want to do. Im not saying perfect defense. Im perfect in my defense. But im not the david yes you are. Why we always have you. Morgan, again, i dont see the accomplishments, do you . Listen, i mean resume everybody is building on experience but as trump aptly points out the experience is there but is it experience American People want . Not so far. David yes, there is a lot of qualifications but not that much accomplishments as far as i can see. Jessica, morgan, thank you, ladies. Great to see you both. Thank you. Melissa were awaiting a donald trump rally in iowa. Will the donald steal the show from the dnc . Of course he will. Im sure he will try his best.
