Luther king, jr. Day is monday, a great epic start and great epic verbiage for what all this means. And there will be a series of events leading up to thursday. Thursday is the kickoff of it all. Thursday is candle light dinner, which is tradition. And each of the dinners and each of the venues is really oriented to just allow people to greet the place, rather than the actors on the stage. It is about the stage. So thursday and friday are the two big days, swearing in, the capital staff is amazing at how they planned it. So it will be a commemorative moment, thoughtful. You talk about actors. If you can tell us, how concerned are you, you have enough performers, people to do readings. Songs. All of that. Are you satisfied that youve got what you need to fill the day, as it were, on a typical Inauguration Day . Yeah. Overwhelmed. Were fortunate in that i feel we have the greatest celebrity in the world, which is the president elect. And side by side with that is the current president. Also a great support. So what we are doing in surrounding it with what people say are alisters, we will surround it with the soft he is not shoe alieb sensuality of th. This is like a cord nation. Thats what the president elect wanted. It will be a tribute. Itll be beautiful. But the cadence of it will be, let me get back it work, because the people im presiding with in america are back to work. You talk about what he wanted. Tell us what he has told you he wants. What are some specifics that he wants to be a part of the inauguration . He really wanted it to be about the people. Not about him. So his instructions to me, by the way which is the worst job in america, right . He gave the best job in america to all the bright guys. He said, you be the party planner. Was to figure out how to relate 200 years of history, a couple hundred billion dollars of investment in this place, at a moment where we have to build bridges. He knows what his constituency is. And he knows he needs to reach out to constituencies who have questions, have doubts. His direction to me is, the campaign is over, im now president for all of the people. I want you to build a bridge and tie them back in. I want to heal the wound and get back it work to work saturday m. Those were his instrucks. Is there anything that deviates from previous is there anything you are doing sort of for the first time . And i wanted to ask about the announcer. I dont know if you addressed that. But the announcer has been doing it longer than ive been alive, anyway. He doesnt have that he is replaced by someone mr. Trump knows. Can you tell us about how that change happened, if thats correct . Yeah. It is a delicate balance, right, between abiding by tradition and president elect is a traditionalist. So he is attending to that, and having his own fingerprint on a fresh canvas. Mostly he is abiding by tradition. Especially in the swearing inner is mooeceremony. In that moment when you look up that west capitol interest and the shift of power in a moment goes from a very strong powerful man of one party to another very strong powerful man of another party, that cadence and tradition of america allowing power to change like that is safe. Sew kept that pretty much the way that it is. He has his fingerprints on what bible, what versus, who is there to help him. The announcer, too. I wanted to specifically ask about the announcer. No hard feelings there . Have you spoken to him . I dont think there is any hard feelings anywhere. Everybody would like to be close to the president and president elect. I think there is a spot for everybody. Of course he needs to put his own signature on things that are important. Who did he choose to replace i dont know. We will find out. Is there any opportunity for president elect to talk or ming toll former president s, president bush, president clinton . Sure. They are there on the podium. If you remember, the podium is built out on the west side looking to the washington monument. They are all sitting right across from it. The timing and sequencing is all very tight but they will all be within house issing distance. There is no private time expected at all . No. There are Holding Rooms as they all come through the capitol, there are Holding Rooms where they will have an opportunity to see each other but no oorg niezed interaction. I know in previous inaugurations, president and president elect sometimes, i think, go from the white house so president obama, have you heard from the white house about anything . Sure. Theyve been very gracious in extending an invitation for coffee or tea in the morning. Oh so traditional, i think thats what happened eight years ago. So president elect trump comes over there and they ride together . Not the family, i think probably the president elect and first lady elect. And the four ride together . Yes. So most probably they will good to the white house, invited for coffee or tea. Spend half an hour there or so, then go together. Okay. Thats a great moment. Thats a great moment. Thank you so much.
