The day after the executive order was made to ban refugees and visitors from seven predominantly muslim countries why did she three times refuse to condemn the ban then you queue i made very clear, very clear that we believe this policy is divisive and wrong, that it is not a policy we would introduce and i made very clear when asked about this that this and has a different approach to these issues. On refugees this government has a proud record of support of refugees and long may it continue. Mister speaker, the Prime Minister said the United States is responsible for the United States policy on refugees but surely it is the responsibility of all of us to defend the 1951 Refugee Convention which commits this country, the United States, and 142 other states to accept refugees without regard to race, religion or country of origin. President trump has breached that convention. Why didnt she speak out you queue i made absolutely clear the governments view on this policy. Secondly as i just said this government has a proud record, this country has a proud record on how it welcomes refugees. We have over the last recent years introduced the very particular scheme to ensure particularly vulnerable refugees can be brought to this country, Something Like 10,000 Syrian Refugees have come to this country since the conflict began. Also the second donor, helping and supporting refugees on the region. That is what we are doing. The policy is wrong, we will take a different view and welcome refugees to this country. I also wrote to the Prime Minister on this issue and received her reply this morning by holding my hand to a piece of paper. Makes no mention of the Refugee Convention, nor condemned the us actions in this respect. Last week i asked the Prime Minister to assure the house that if any United States trade deal, she would not offer up our National Health service as a bargaining chip. She gave no answer when asked, she also refused to rule it out so lets ask her a third time. Will she rule out opening up our National Health service to private us Healthcare Companies . Yes or no . Mister speaker, i could give a detailed answer to the right honorable gentlemens question but i think a simple and straightforward reply is what he requires. The nhs is not for sale and it never will be. I hope, mister speaker. I hope, mister speaker, that includes not having us Healthcare Companies coming into run any part of our National Health service. President trump, has torn up International Agreement on refugees, threatened to dump International Agreements on climate change. He has praised the use of torture. He has incited hatred against muslims. He directly attacked womens rights. Just what more does President Trump have to do before the Prime Minister will listen to the 1. 8 Million People who called for his state visit invitation to be withdrawn. The right honorable gentlemens foreignpolicy object to and insult the democratically elected head of state, our most important ally. Lets just see what he achieved in the last week. Would he have been able to affect british citizens from the border . Know. Would he be able to lay the foundation of the trade deal . Know. Would he have gotten a 100 commitment to nato . Know. Will the Prime Minister give a commitment to the Irish Government and commitment to work with the Scottish Government to deliver these things or will we just have to get on with it ourselves . First of all the right honorable gentlemen is right that following the meeting on monday morning we did agree to intensification of discussion on issues related to bringing back brussels and where those powers should fly in the United Kingdom and to intensify that in the run up to article 50 and triggering article 50 and on the other question, he should listen to the answers that are given because he is trying to imply something that isnt there. We are very clear that we want to see a frictionless border between Northern Ireland and the republic of ireland but im also clear one of the objectives of our negotiation is to have as frictionless border a possible between the United Kingdom and the rest of the European Union and if he is so worried about having a frictionless border between scotland and the European Union he should take scotland out of the European Union. My right honorable friend make the point about eu nationals and i would like to confirm my intention and expectation that we will be able to offer that reassurance to nationals living in the uk but also seek reassurance to uk nationals in the eu and hope i will be working to ensure this is an issue we can deal with at an early stage in negotiations. It is one of the objectives i set out in the plan, it will be referenced in the white paper which will be published and i can inform my right honorable friend and the house that it will be published tomorrow. Prime minister, your responses today have been deeply unsatisfactory. [shouting] the president of the United States has advocated torture, misogyny, racial discrimination, sexual assault, isolationism, canada and germany were able to respond but your responses are to jump on a plane as soon as possible. Mister speaker, does this country deserve a leader who is willing to stand up for British Values . I have issued no response. The honorable gentlemen not only shouldnt reach parliamentary protocol but shouldnt tempt me, the Prime Minister. I will tell you what standing up for British Values is. I and this government, the first modern slavery action. I have insured scotland search is reduced because nobody on the street of this country should be stopped and searched because of the color of their skin. I assured justice for the families. Most of the countries covered have a totally exclusion on the admission of israelis. Should protesters also be calling for that band to be lifted . Due to government changes to her state pension retirement age she will not retire until 2022. This shortchanged 2. 6 million women and brings change to government. Will the Prime Minister look again and support millions of women in retirement . The issue of those to refer the honorable gentlemen, i am sure he knows we did commit 1 billion pounds to lessen the impact on those we detected so no one will see their age change by 18 months. The reason to the point, we have to be realistic at looking at pension ages, people are living longer and if we want to have an affordable Pension System we need to equalize the pension age for men and women faster. My honorable friend and i who both in this chamber today encourage people to come forward and make that application, that is the message we should all give. My right honorable friend, talking to President Trump about his commitment to nato, and achievement welcomed by the government of the czech republic, latvia and lithuania. Does my right honorable friend agree with me that the way to engage with President Trump and win such agreement is by not insulting or close ally but bringing him close and not doing to the leader of the opposition demands that we reject our closest ally, would this not written and European Partners less safe and less secure . Can the Prime Minister confirm whether he raised Human Rights Concerns or as we turn our face from europe, the policy of close Brexit Britain to put our skills before human rights abuses . First of all i think the honorable lady should recognize turkey is an important country in relation to security and the issue of migration into turkey and potentially europe and also recognize turkey has and continues to host 3 million refugees and the turkish government on the welcome they have given those refugees and i suggest to the honorable lady she should have looked at the press conference i gave after discussions with the Prime Minister in which i made it clear, we expected the turkish government to support its Democratic Institutions for the rule of law. I congratulate the point. And the administration, outline what he did to persuade our allies, for achieving the nato summit of 2014. I think my honorable friend for the work he does on Nato Parliament 3 assembly. There are commitments made as the nato summit that took place in wales in 2014 all of our nato allies committed to spending their gdp on defense within a decade. We have seen progress, and i assure honorable friends that other ministers across government ready this issue regularly, and cadbury. It was worse than that of beijing. Will the Prime Minister assure me and my constituents that the hugely expensive proposal to double the capacity of the m 4 is arrived in london will be shelled . What i can assure the honorable ladies the issue of air quality is when the government is taking seriously. A lot of work has been done, over 2 billion pounds have been committed to enable their fleet to ensure changes are made, for fire engines. We recognize more needs to be done. We have seen a reduction in nitrous oxide of 17 in recent years. We bring for the proposals to maintain the air quality. As a fellow member of parliament, in the 2017 year of Mental Health, gave her continued commitment to ensure there is parity between Mental Health and physical health. Im happy to endorse the campaign my honorable friend has referred to. It is important to raise awareness of the issues of Mental Health and the fact the government has committed to the parity of a theme between Mental Health and physical health is important. There is more for us to do on Mental Health. There are steps we want to take and i commend all those working to raise the awareness of the issue of Mental Health and those with Mental Health problems. The association of directors of Adult Social Services has said that 4. 6 billion has been cooked from social care budget since 2010. Does the Prime Minister take response ability for the pain and distress that the tories have inflicted on poor old people being denied their rightful care . Yes or no . This government has taken steps to increase funding that is available for social care. I also believe it is important to ensure best practice is developed and put into place across the country. There are some parts of the country the record on social care and interaction with hospitals is better than in others. There is another issue, a longerterm issue to ensure that we have a sustainable system. And quality marker. And it shows the work the academy trusted excellence. And good school places, and what we see in the academy. Thousands of people lost their jobs at the british house, it may take years for philip green, discredited and disgraced. Possibly taken away or otherwise. Will my right honorable friend agree with me that the american commitment to nato is absolutely pivotal in protecting countries of Eastern Europe from going the same way as what happened in eastern ukraine. I agree with my honorable friend, president of have given 100 commitment to nato is crucial in ensuring we provide for the security of this country and others in your particularly those in Eastern Europe on the borders with russia. I noted my honorable friends earlier referred to the fact the czech republic, the Lithuanian Government had welcomed that 100 commitment and pleased to say we are playing our parts, 800 troops this year will be going to poland and estonia as a sign of nato app strength and i believe in maintaining the countrys democratic. In 2015, my constituents a constituent was lured to her death, brutally raped and murdered. Will the Prime Minister join me in reiterating the commitment of this house and this country that we will not tolerate violence against women and encourage the pakistani government to continue its effort for justice for our british girls . Can i say to the honorable lady she has raised a very tragic case that has taken place in our deepest sympathies are with her husband following her tragic death. We dont interfere in the legal processes of another country but the Foreign Office, i understand from Pakistani Police have arrested two people and charged them with murder. The Foreign Office provided assistance and will continue to do so. They will keep the honorable lady informed and the secretary will be meeting the honorable lady soon to discuss this issue. Order.
