Debt of gratitude. You are remarkable man and this constitutes for the United States senate would not be the place that it is without you. Has a board member, i remember you and jenny, teddy and i sitting at a cafe in boston and we were showing what this is going to look like with salt and pepper shakers and forks and knives, just met with the architect talking about what this institution is going to look like in comparison to jfk library. Katie shared with you his vision of what this place could be. And you never looked back. You help from the very beginning, running with this. You were in your enthusiasm and optimism helping to raise funds, figured why ask for and million . After five and you get it. It was incredible. You have been remarkable. We would not have this institute without you. I love you and i thank you for everything you have done. This book is a triumph. You have shown like no one will ever show. God bless you. What the senate is when the senate is, it is a true gift of all of us, gift of history and we want to show you right now how much we love you so everybody stand. [applause] [ applause] [applause] thank you very very much, thank you. Thanks again. That was wonderful. Smooth as glass. [inaudible conversations] booktv is on twitter. If you understand history think of the young man who came to the United States of america in the 1800s. If you never read the book democracy in america, here was a young man who came from france wanting to understand what made america so unique, so different from all the other countries and he wanted to understand single finger that is been distinguishable about america, individual rights and freedoms and liberties. Here today we have a modernday alexis toqueville. Has come from the land down under and he is sharing thoughts and perspectives with us. Let me give you a brief overview about nick adams, he is the best selling author, columnist and commentator who has appeared on every Major Program including the oreilly fact, the sean hannity show, but Laura Ingraham show, the glenn beck program, the 700 club, and hundreds more. He is a columnist at town hall. Com and also serves as a Centennial Institute policy fellow at colorado christian university. His work has been published in newspapers like the washington examiner, the korea times and online at fox news, day and the caller, the blaze, jewish world review and elsewhere. Governor rick perry appointed him an honorary texan in 2013. The most recent book is retaking america, a crushing Political Correctness. I present to you a fantastic young man, nick adams. [applause] appreciate it that. Good morning. Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, what an honor, pleasure and privilege it is to stand before you this morning at the country club right here in dallas, texas. I am thrilled to be speaking to the National Center for policy analysis. One of the worlds premier think tank and it is a tremendous honor to be with each and every so one of you today. In the worlds exceptional nation, in the worlds indispensable country. To top it all off, in the greatest state in that country. [applause] our love coming to texas. I love being in texas. For me texas is the living and breathing embodiment of american exceptionalism. It is the free, open, confident, Successful Society and i so admire the moxie, swagger and bravado of texas. And the refusal, and morally dbase worlds we now occupy and for that reason texas is a model, i believe for the entire world to follow. What america is to the world is a Guiding Light and the idea that we should turn to seek guidance. That is why on the tenth of july, and former governor rick perry, an honorary texan, it was one of the greatest days i have ever seen. I am here at the moment on a book to a. My new book retaking america, crushing Political Correctness, is a book for anybody that loves america and hates Political Correctness. And i look forward to sharing with you a lot about that book and its contents today. I want to thank lot of people that made this event possible. I want to thank the wonderful staff of the National Center for policy analysis, are loral who really went a great way in preparing this event to be what it is right now, tremendous turnout, great to be here with so many wonderful patriots. I know many people in this audience have traveled far and wide to be here today. The gentleman that springs to mind sitting in the front row hails from boulder, texas. On the border of texas. On the oklahoma border, red river county. Went i think of Political Correctness and american exceptionalism texas really is the best place for that message because i find texans have a merciless contempt for Political Correctness and that is something i certainly have agreed deal of time for, and sean has been a good friend of mine for many years. I am always reminded of that refreshingly politically incorrect in this the does come from texas when i speak to sean. I had occasion last year to be in new york and had a photograph taken with the young lady who is a fellow fox news regular and she happens to hail from the opposite side of politics. There was a photo posted on facebook and socially media and sure enough there i was on sixth avenue coming back from fox news and my cell phone starts ringing and it is no one but sean from bogota, texas. And he says have you got a minute . I said yes, sure i have got a minute and he said i think you are making a mistake. I said okay. What have i done wrong . Tell me. Dont know what you are talking about. He said i dont want you and messing with no liberal women, you hear me . So i love that refreshing friendship and honesty and forthrightness that really does emanate from every fiber of the texan spirit and that is why i have so much time for tx. I want to thank my friend and favorite paratrooper of all time, colonel alan west. I know colonel west well enough to know he is Extraordinary Committee means he doesnt enjoy it when people like me lavished praise on hansel i figure i have 30 seconds before the old paratrooper jumps into action and takes me on stage. Allen is an extraordinary compendium of graciousness and knowledge and a model of civic engagement. It is touching that he spends so much time and prepared to help end indeed helping young men and women who are up and coming and who share values of the United States and traditional principles and for that all of us, i am very grateful. We do stand here in the greatest country in the history of the world, the constitution of the United States is the best political document ever written. The United States military is the finest fighting force mankind has ever known and i want to ask any active duty veterans of the United States military to please stand along with any former or present Law Enforcement so we can thank you because america is free, the world is free because of you. [applause] ladies and gentlemen, some of you may be wondering where i get this tax and from. I am here to tell you it is undeniably from south texas. One that i have lived on for some time. Southern texas. Why does this guy with a funny accent care about the United States . What is good for america is good for the world. When america goes well the world does well. When america is week the world becomes an exceedingly dangerous place. That is not a hypothesis, that is not a theory, that is not something i dreamed up or written on the back of a cocktail napkin. That is what we are living right now. We are in that reality where the United States has been weakened by an administration that doesnt appear to be acting in americas best interests around the world. As a result, as a direct result three thinks that it apart from other countries. This is the worlds most optimistic, patriotic, religious nation in the world. Initiative, risk go much further in the United States than they do anywhere else. I happen to believe anybody born in america at war has become an american or is a permanent resident of the United States of america has trudy won the lottery of life because this is the country where magic happens. This is the country where anybody can rise above circumstances of their birth and go on to achieve whatever it is they want to achieve. That is an elegant and beautiful and magnificent idea and principal and it is the reason so many people want to come to the United States of america. For so long the media and education will consistently sold as a narrative that america is a hateful place and that terrible place and a racist place. My friends, nothing could be further from the truth. I dont care what your color, what your sexual orientation, who you are, where you come from, what you do, this is the greatest country in the world for you. This nation gives you the best opportunity to achieve the dreams god put in your heart. Fullstop or period as you say. That is the reality but sadly, tragically that is not what our young people are being told any more. That is not what you hear on the radio. On television stations in your living rooms, it is something that has got to be said because apart from freedom, the next greatest casualty of Political Correctness is the truth. Political correctness isnt interested in the truth. Political correctness is not interested in expressing reality. Political correctness is only interested in asserting a narrative, painting a picture that benefits the objectives of the politically correct and their advocates. That is why they are selective with the truth and prepared to stick their head in the stands when something is so glaringly obvious. Take for example the president of the United States. He refuses to name the enemy of radical islam even when the enemy is more unhappy and more often prepared and more is unwilling and does so over and over and over again, tells us what their motivations are. The president is not prepared to say it. Not just the president but lots of people. All religions have to be equal. All countries have to be equal. Ladies and gentlemen, i am here to tell you all people are equal but all cultures are not equal. All religions are not equal. You are not going to hear that at universities today. You will not hear that in classrooms at Elementary School and middle school or high school. It is a crying shame and whats has it done . Has it led to an america right now where so many young people dont like their country. They have bought into this nonsense, they have bought into this idea that america is an aggressive place, so much to be ashamed about, so little to be proud of that if everything it has done is in some way tainted. And yet they dont realize they have no moral clarity. They fail to understand the United States is special because it is not just a country, not just a stretch of land, not just a geographical entity. It is an idea, an ideal, at the experiments of a humanity. It is the laboratory of freedom. Civilization, inanity as we know it, depends on the United States. If we lose america there is no one else to pull us out. This is it. Freedom lives and parishes in america. That is why i have an investment in it, people all around the world no matter who they are or where they live even if they never even set foot on american soil, they have an investment in america being healthy, being strong and absolutely crushing this culturally totalitarian thug that is Political Correctness. I wrote my book because i believe if america is to make it to her third centennial, in 2076, this year will be the 240th birth day of america and it is a time for celebration. Unfortunately, i must grimly tell you that if you ask any historian worth their salt about the longevity of great nations throughout history they will tell you the great nations tend to last between 200, and 250 years. I am here to tell you that puts america right in the kill zone. As we celebrate 240 years of the United States. If america is to make it to their third centennial, in 60 years time, it is going to require all of us, every single one of us to stand up, protect and defend america and to crush Political Correctness because Political Correctness is stealing your confidence, it is stealing your joy, everything america is known for is being attacked. Political correctness has dozens of targets. Christians, men, lots of groups that it specifically targets. But the politically correct crowd had a deck of cards of most wanted cards, the ace of spades would be america because america is the great holdout to the leftist agenda. It is the only country that is showing resilience against what is going on. It might be hard for many of you in the thick of it to actually appreciate that but i am here to tell you as weary and worn and withering as america might be right now, it is still heads and shoulders the greatest country in the worlds. Where do you want to start a company . Where do you want to come and work . That is why more people want to immigrate to the United States than anywhere else. If america is such a hateful place why does america have problems on the southern border like it does . Of course then you must ask the very obvious question, why be politically correct, you would be right. Ladies and gentlemen, as i have travelled through the United States, i feel that ordinary Everyday Americans are finally fighting back, ordinary Everyday Americans are sick and tired of being attacked from trigger warning and White Privilege is and not knowing 57 different genders and being accused of being racist if they dare criticize president obama or use chicago sarcastically in a sentence. They are sick and tired of moral and intellectual lilliputian, pick sees that want to bring this into silence, forcing to conformity, tell us how to think and what to say and where to go and what to do. That is not american. America is about individualism. America is about friday. America is about having an identity. We dont want america to be a self loathing suicidal race. We dont want it to turn into another european country. We dont want it to aspire to mediocrity instead of green is. We want to aspire to be great. We want the Young Americans of today to the crowd of who they are, to the advocates of american exceptionalism, to be prepared to reassert the american idea. To know what is america and what isnt america. If you believe in anything, ladies and gentlemen, you believe in nothing. That is why it is so important that we step up and sponge this publicly corrected lee in the nose, that we hit first, and dont stop because if we dont take action, if wheat remain a punching bag, everything dear to us, family, of faith, flag, neighborhood, all of those things will mean nothing. They will mean absolutely nothing and we may as well all go out and by ourselves some bid sheets and head where and start head butting because we need to be able to defend ourselves. We need to be able to have as much passion and hunger and desire to win as our enemies do. We need to be able to match the fervor of those that would seek to diminish america. We need to match them in strength, in strategy, in all of those things and that is what my book does. It lays out a very Clear Strategy to retake america and crush Political Correctness and involves reasserting the american idea. Involved engaging in the culture war. A lot of fabulous things about capitalist society is if we dont like something we dont have to watch it. Radio host we dont like or a television anchor we dont have time for or a network that doesnt float our boat, we are mortgaging happy to simply turn off the television or change the dial or simply never visit that channel on the remote. If we are going to win, if we are going to take on this flight, the only way we can win is by understanding the enemy. By knowing the enemy as well as they know themselves. Being able to anticipate what they are going to do, what we are going to say. These guys call us racists and sexists and bigots and i could go on. Climate change deniers. I could go on and on. I have had the privilege of being called all of those things. I wear it as a badge of honor because this new gospel that these elites want to force upon us, not to be repelled, must be rejected. America is not about Political Correctness. America is not about not having confidence and not having an identity and stripping away individualism. Everyday, ordinary people that hold a traditional view on marriage, or a skeptical view on after project climate change, they are now no longer welcome in polite society. You cant be a part of Polite Company if you dont subscribe to this new gospel. Heaven forbid you blasphemed against that gospel land in that way, my friends, conservative americans, everyday ordinary americans the just happen to have a traditional idea of family and country and face have become the new communists. What do i mean by that . What i mean by that is it wasnt that long ago that if you were a communist for you have some association with communism whether it was real or perceived, you couldnt get a job. You missed out on opportunities, you could not get a job. How have the tables turned . How have they flipped . Today it is the precisely the opposite. If you are a person that holds traditional ideas and values and you are prepared to express them in public, youre in a world of hurt as. Its my belief those countries didnt have the foundational principles and dont have the foundational principles that will allow them to come back, and every time i set foot on american soil, i am heartened by the patriotic blood lines in Middle America and i dont believe that Middle America has yet begun to fight, and i think that when they do i think Political Correctness is not going to know what hit it, and that is so pivotal that happens because its not possible to hyperventilate about this. Its not possible to hype this up. This really is a civillational issue. This really is about humanity as we know it, and if we cannot erase this situation, if we continue to be pushed around by these politically correct advocates, that dont share the same objectives, that want to see america pulled down several pegs, that dont appreciate what makes america great, that are helping or indoctrinating young people, then were going to lose this fight, ladies and gentlemen. We are going to lose this fight. I believe that there is no greater moral imperative than defeating Political Correctness. I believe that America Needs to come back and in order to come back, its got to end the waste, pay back the debt, limit the government, axe Political Correctness, protect the border, preserve jew dadeow christian positions, kick the peace to unquestioned military advantage and cut taxes but in order to be able to do those ten things, its got to be able to crush Political Correctness first because Political Correctness stands in the way of each of those things coming to fruition. And anybody who loves america and loves civilization and loves opportunity and wants their dream to come true, needs to understand the threat of Political Correctness, and the way that we reach hearts and minds is by making people understand that they are less likely to achieve the dream they have in their heart if Political Correctness exists. Thats what we need to get through to people. That Political Correctness is a hurdle, a barrier, a setback, a gatekeeper that prevend people from being able to do what they want to do, including the thing that is klose to their heart and that is their dream, because Political Correctness is about encouraging mediocrity, not encouraging greatness, and nothing could be more antiamerican than that. Nothing could be more antiamerican to the First Amendment than this intellectual tyranny that Political Correctness provides. And i want all of you to pick up a copy of my book retaking america crushing Political Correctness. If you love america and you hate Political Correctness this is a book that i humbly and respect respectfully submit to you, you need to read because the stakes are too high. We didnt invite or expect this war on america, but i can tell you, even as a nonamerican, im prepared to give my life for this country, and i know that all of you are as well. And we need to call on that passion, we need to call on that unshapable belief and we need to be relentless in our pursuit of that want to destroy us and want to diminish america. We cant let it happen, we wont let it happen. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, god bless you, and i look forward to taking any questions you may have. Applause. Im going to open it up for questions and answers now but id like to start with the first question. Recently there was a poll that said 43 of millenials, 30 years or below, prefer socialism over capitalism, and we also know about this growing movement on College Campuses about safe spaces which does prevent the debate that is going on. What do you think is the most important thing we can do to educate our young people and get them to realize some of these false narratives theyre falling into. A great question, colonel, and i appreciate you asking that. Youre exactly right. The problem really is in the classrooms of america. It is in the lecture theaters of america. And the left has always understood far better than us that in order to control tomorrow, you must be in control of the children of today. And for the last 30 honor years, to incredible effect, to great success, they have managed to successfully infiltrate the high schools, the Elementary Schools of america. I think we need to encourage everyday ordinary americans to take up the jobs of teaching, of journalism. Now, its not for everybody but everybody can support somebody that wants to do that, because unless we can erase that situation, unless we can remove this these edits of history that insist on painting america out to be a hateful place and a terrible place, then were going to lose everything that we have and theres no greater of that. Every single day, young people in my country, young people in your country, are going out and joining isis. Now, thats stunning. When you first look at it. But when you take a deeper look at it, is it really a surprise, when for their entire life theyve been told that they have nothing to deproud of as americans, nothing be proud of as australians, when they havent been permitted to have an identity, when its been outlawed to have an identity, and then the only guys out there, evil thats are, that are offering an identity and say, come and join us, they say i like this idea of having an identity. These guys are evil but they have an identity. And thats why were losing the fight. Because with we have not allowed some people to have an identity. So, all of us have to really be vigilant about this. We hear about teachers. We need to employ the tactics of the left. This is something i write extensively about in retaking america. We need to use the tactics of the left, shame the teachers and University Professors who have been proven to spout antiamerican hatred. We need to make sure that parenters ringing up the local school of their children and saying, dont want this teacher to be teaching my kids, because ive gone on and ive had a look and i dont want that kind of person teaching my child. So, we need to stand up. We need to be bold. We need to be vigilant. We need to try to get only everyday people into those jobs that are obviously not really traditionally conservative jobs, but we need to find ways of incentivizing people getting into that particular path of employment. Otherwise were in all kinds of strife. Yes, virginia. I am adopted child of the United States of america, and i love america and i love what america stands for. How do we help young people or people like yourself to understand the power of one that still is america, over dont look for somebody else to help, you start helping. You start speaking, you start the fight, and others will follow you. What do you think we should do, following allen wests question. What do you think we should do to help them, and in the same time, i want to ask you, we are christians. We look at people and were saying, this one doesnt know christ and we approach them, but the republicans sometimes we isolate ourselves and we dont say, this is a liberal, he doesnt know our principle. I should go and tell them. So, how do we do those two things . Well, first of all, let me say that i was born in september 1984, which was exactly two months before president Ronald Reagan absolutely smoked walter mondale, sweeping 49 states out of the 50. So im very proudly a reagan baby, although i think technically that does put me in the millenial pile. I dont identify as a millenial and i try to keep that path very that part very quiet. A reaganback not as common an clinton baby but i think very much superior. I happen to think, virginia, that we need to get every child to be proud of being an individual, because america, up like any other society on earth, is an individualistic society. Its not a collectivist society, and the collective sentiments of europe and even americas englishspeaking cousins, doesnt fit in the america that we know, and america cannot reach a full potential unless people embrace their individualism, and i can tell you as a person from another country who comes to the United States, what we love is that incredible diversity of individuals. I want individuals to be diverse. Im more interested in the individuals being diverse than the culture being diverse. Youre right, we do need to reach out much more to the other side, increasingly america has become polarized, and we need to win the hearts and minds of people, and we shouldnt give up, and i encourage every single one of you to be involved in your local communities, to knock on doors, to talk to your neighbors to go down the street, even if youre not going to convince that person, at least you can understand a lot more of who they are and youll be able to more effectively combat that ideology when confronted with it again. And its really important that the people understand that. I dont believe, for example, that today the allies could successfully prosecute the Second World War. I think that our thinking has changed so much that it would be impossible for freedom to defeat nazi germany, mussolini, japan. We couldnt do it. We couldnt do it. We dont have the stomach anymore. We dont have the patience anymore. We live in a world of instant gratification. I know that the military can do it. I know the military wants to do it. But its always a test to prove the world war ii target list, we probably wouldnt have won the Second World War either and theres this idea that if the other side kills three of our guys, if we then go and kill five of theirs, all of a sudden were oppressive. Thats not how victory happens. That not how you win. You do whatever it takes to win. Theres got be moral clarity and Political Correctness removes that moral clarity. 75 years ago, your country and and my country, interred, japanese, germans and italians that were living in america and australia. There was no proof that any of these people were anything but patriotic. There was no proof at all that these people were in any way colluding with the evil that was going on, on the other side of the world. But the thinking back then was, we dont want to take a risk. We dont want to risk. We want to win this thing. Now, contrast that to today. We have and we know that we have people of the islamic faith that are living in countries all around the world that are prepared to shoot us up, to chop our heads off, theres plots foiled almost every day in western countries, and yet if anybody today, if anybody were to raise the specter of internment camp there would be utter panned moanup. It would be completely crazy. And our checking has changed. The with a at that time our thinking has changed. The wail we see the world has changed, and there may come a day where our thinking has to change back again because we have to win. We have to kill evil before it kills us. Lets make no mistake about it. Lets make no bones about it. Its real. The politically correct can put their heads in the sand but we cant afford to do so, and in retaking america, crushing political correcting in, i talk about the islamic threat. This has been happening sin then seventh century. The battle of constantinople. This is not a new phenomenon. Thomas jefferson was dealing with this. With the islamic pirates in tripoli. This is ongoing. And its always going to happen. And we need to do something about it and commit Political Correctness is stopping us from doing something about and it thats why we need to get rid of this Political Correctness. Based on the looks of the leaks so far were destroying ourselves in order to move the agenda forward. Seems like we need to unite as conservatives. How do you think that can happen, what are your suggestions 0 for that . Threat a good question and i thank you for it. I dont live in chicago so i cant vote, but i keenly follow american politics. American politics much like the country and the culture and the people is certainly exceptional, and the great opportunity of being in both New Hampshire and South Carolina the last couple of weeks, and i flew in from charleston yesterday and i head back there tomorrow, and its very interesting to see what is happening. I certainly believe that in 2016, what we are seeing is the rise of the antipc politician, and i think that youre right. The pendulum is swinging back. I dont know how far its going to swing back. I dont know who the greatest representation of that is going to be. Ultimately thats a decision for voting americans to make, but i do want to tell you that the profit the United States is not just the president of america. He or she is the president of the entire world, and thats why everyone has a stake in this, and when i go to New Hampshire and South Carolina, theres not only American Media there, theres media from all around the world because Everybody Knows that the the next occupant of the white house will be important. Right now, people in australia are not sleeping well because president obama is not keeping the world safe. He ills not adequately fighting the scourge of radical islam. So thats an example for you. I would love to see american unity but i do not believe that will be possible unless a consensus is reached on what constitutes being an american. You see, post world war ii and then into the communism era, there was no doubt about what it meant to be an american. But unfortunately, in the last 30 or so years, as media has been democratized, as everybody is received a voice, many who dont deserve it, all of a sudden, now this debate about what it means to be an american. Clearly there are lot of americans, as colonel west cited with the poll, that considers socialism to be an acceptable form of americanism. Now, to my mind, anticommunism is the most profoundly american thing imaginable, and thats what we have really got to get back to. There emerges a consensus which is increasingly unlikely as it appears to me, then its going to be very difficult to have unity. Out of many, one, but unfortunately its almost like out of many, two. We have a conservative america and a liberal america, and Political Correctness is all about dividing people. All about putting people into groups, pockets, divisions, and inculcating victimhood and the culture of complaint, and those things have to be addressed because theyre just not american. Yes, maam. One of the things i wouldnt even call its hurdle. I call its brick wall, is dealing with or understanding the threat of radical islam is the confusion of it being a religion as opposed to it really being an ingrained ideology that has that covers aspects of religion and covers aspects of their entire life. How do we get to the point how do we educate people on the concept that its not just a religion. Were confusing people. And were looking like were intolerant when actually were just ignorant. Thats a good question. People are full of good questions, colonel west. Youre exactly right. Three years ago i sat down and i read the entire koran in english, and i read all of them, and i am here to tell you that what these terrorists, what this islamic evil is doing, is precisely what it says to do in that little black book. Theyre follow it out word for word. Does that mean there arent peaceful muslims . Of course it didnt mean that0. Cower there are peaceful muslims but theyre only peaceful because theyre not strictly adhering to their faith. They are not acting in accordance to the scriptures presented in their holy book. So, yes, there are peaceful muslims, but the fight itself is not a peaceful faith. It is an ideology. Youre right. And america is about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And sharia law is about death, slavery, and the pursuit of power. Profoundly incompatable, antithetical, and we do need to get people to understand its an ideology and not just a religion, that its a political ideology. We need to educate people. And its all part of this whole idea that it talk about in my book, and i also i have been speaking with you here today. We need to engage in the culture war. For too long we have alied this guys to play unopposed, and there are people on television and on the radio, talking about islam being a political ideology as well as a faith, and we need to start doing that. And its going to come at a cost, my friend. What im suggesting is not easy and i talk about this from very personal experience, but its the right thing to do. And were heavily outnumbered, and heavily outgunned but if American History teaches is anything, all you need are few good men to achieve great things, and thats what im really hoping to call upon from you today, that you leave here today, that you that your takehome message is we need to be bold because being bold is american. We need to be strong, we need to be unwavering and unafraid of what these guys are going to do to us, yes, sir. My brother is a [inaudible] shared with me that the muslim religion creates a shameful culture, in contrast to the american culture, which is based on what is morally right or morally wrong. How would you contrast the shameful culture created in the middle east through primarily muslim faith, with Political Correctness, not creating a shameful culture to those who dont its an excellent pair son. Youre right, theres a great degree of commonality there. Both encourage shame, both seek to remove confidence, both seek to remove freedom. So the objectives of radical islam and the objectives of Political Correctness are one in the same, and theyre commensurate in their danger, i submit. I think our war is against those that brought down the buildings of the World Trade Center as much as it is with those that have continually run defense for these guys. They are just as culpable, just as guilty, and we should deal with this entity that, like i say, is growing, and this is not something that is going to go away. This is not something where theyre on the run. Theyre not on the run. This sprinting right at us, and unless we put out the unbending arm of liberty and just knock them flat on the ground, its going to be a bad day for us. Yes, sir. You just said that you radical islam. Isnt that politically correct to use that term . Because based on what you just said, the radicals are those who say theyre peaceful, and if the religion itself, like whats his maim it is about islamglen beck religion is a problem but we wont admit that. Youre right. I shouldnt be using radical islam. Probably out of habit. I usually do it as an example of even how people who hate Political Correctness sometimes really are swept up in and it i appreciate you pointing that out. Youre right. The religion itself, the ideology itself, is radical, and, therefore, really saying it is a but something that weve got to get out of the habit of doing. I know lots of people doing do do it as a cover and i apologize for that. The basic ten nets of christianity are love and forgiveness as compared to the basic tenets of islam, but, yes, jesus christ himself did not hesitate item sheas who did not exercise love. I suggest we need to take that example and start shaming our friends, our families, and anybody who we associate with, when they embrace this pc nonsense. The problem is, were not doing that. Were not a exercising courage. I think what i hear you saying is, we need to exercise courage. Without a doubt, yes, we do need to encourage people to be courageous, we need to encourage perseverance and people to get out there and fight, and youre right, the left have all of these tools they use, whether its online petitions. You see, Political Correctness was been oregon College Campuses but its been weaponized through social media and its become such a potent force in our culture. These guys have watched this. If you go and google any prominent conservative identity, the first google results will tell you how terrible and evil and criminal and awful that we are, but yet if you go and research leftist prominent speakers, youll final the Google Search results to be completely devoid of any criticism. The great thing about america is you get an opportunity to fail. Other countries dont give you that opportunity to fail. And its the place that gives you the opportunity to fail that gives you the greatest chance to succeed. And thats something that we need to the personal story of Abraham Lincoln has propelled me forward throughout my life. And born in kentucky, raised in indiana, grew up in illinois, and this is a man, he was a wrestler, a strong man, who apparently never, ever backed down when challenged to a bout. And that is the kind of american that i want to see today. Theres the kind of spirit w
