American diplomat that i was reading the biography of karl marx, and his he said i wouldnt admit it if i was reading it. However, he later listened to me tell him why. I think the panic is in the minority. I think free speech and education makes the difference. What do you think . Are you in the majority or not . I dont think theyre in the majority. If they are in the majority we would be looking at Something Like germany in 1934. It doesnt take a majority to create a lot of violence and death and destruction and payne. Education up to a point is a factor, but some very highly educated people have expressed very panicked thoughts. Maybe they are availing themselves but i dont think just because one is educated, one doesnt necessarily address personal needs for certitudes. Thank you. Another question . When you talk it reminds me not of politics but medical advertising. Three of five people work this, or you try to talk about an allergy, and most things are not abc. And throw statistics out. One of my favorites, three of five recommended some for their patients to chew gum. Statistics are persuasive and if you cast them in the right light that will help make your case. Yes. Now in good medical research, they might be eliminating that, one way they tried to tease out causation and correlation is placebos, to see if in fact the drug is causing this affect or not so there is the distinction there. Just because you are paranoid doesnt mean someone is in following you. Im wondering instead of retrospectively if you have thought about what the next panic is. You talked about 9 11 and that is still going on, we are feeling the effects of the increase in National Security and you can see it when you walk in an airport. What is the next panic we will see . Good question. I hate to say i dont know. A lot of panics are on going. I talk about that in the book, particularly panic involving arab muslims after 9 11. So many factors, the world is like a cloud. What will be the next thing to cause fear . I dont know. You mentioned howard k. Smith. You as a newsman in the time before the 24 7 news cycle. Lets make a news organization, say fox which had a lot of people a serious point. Do you see the 24 7 news cycle having any effect on panic increasing, decreasing, or in different than 1897 when a letter to four days to reach across the country . Absolutely i think Media Outlets such as fox do contribute to panic. It is different from 1897. Actually, no. And the point i want to make by saying no is all of us in this room live in a certain bubble in some respects. Maybe it is not a bubble, time will tell but in some way we are kind of the closing phase for now in journalism, not really always the case. I am not a journalistic historian. Dont hold me to every phrase i use. I call it loosely the edward r. Murrow school of journalism. He was a great broadcaster for cbs during of the war and in the years that followed the war and agree number of news kate sears followed in his footsteps, i dont want to credit him with creating this. The notion that the news media, newspapers, television news, mass media news, should try to be as objective in possible in reporting the news and separate editorial from news content as best as humanly possible. But in fact in the history of american journalism that is unusual. I will give an example. When i was working on this book, i would be reading pieces from the New York Herald in the 1840s and 50s, my work looks at that library of congress, i said to her which was the New York Herald . Everything you have to understand wall street was financing the common trait in this country. The whole International Cotton trade. They had deep economic interests tied to this southern industry t d the New York Herald was wrote this book and found two libya be easier to create a panic today if someone decided to use the media than it would be in these historic things . Would it make a difference . I dont know back in the day how much the average reader ascribed validity to something they read in the New York Herald or was it more like something in the 50s and 60s, the russians would read pravda with a jaundiced view. Not all russians but there were some. But clearly in a way correlation causing assumption, correlation, the information we get from a guy shouting on a corner tends not to be accurate. Correlation to something weve read in the Washington Post or the New York Times tend to be right. You see it on tv. We correlate that yes today than we did 20 years ago in places like fox. They tend to be right. So they are a wonderful book called the Tipping Point that talks about messengers, gets very much talking about who is the most effective messenger. Any more questions . All right. Thank you. [applause] over here. [inaudible conversations] is there a Nonfiction Author or book you would like to see featured on booktv . Send as an email to booktv cspan. Now on booktv, Katie Pavlich argues that while republicans are constantly blamed for waging a war on women the real war on women is being conducted by democrats. She said liberal heroes like president clinton and president obama are some of the worst offenders. This is about 50 minutes. All right. Good afternoon. Thank you to everyone for taking time out of your friday in the summertime to come paying out with me. That is something i cant get over. Thank you for being here. Citizens in the back waving to you. I thank everyone for being here. Thanks for the roundtable, we really appreciate it, she is a longtime supporter of Young Americas Foundation and i wanted to let mr. Rodriguez let you know that although a lot of people wear those tshirts when i was in college my mother sent me an anti i read get the award to my africanamerican studies course. [applause] you can imagine how well that went over specifically i wore it particularly when they would start boosting the lesson plan. It was great. Hy wants to start by thanking the Young American foundation for having me today. When they sal was inspired to do what im doing now as a result of attending a conference here in 2008 it is absolutely true. Young America Foundation does change the lives of students especially when theyre constantly in a hostile environment in their College Campuses. What we provide in terms of tools and mentor ship for people is extremely important and i continue the work they do really has an impact. Living in washington d. C. And seeing all the graduates of the american Foundations Program working in policy positions or media, really making a difference really proves how important your support is and how important this organization has been for years but especially now in the modern age. Obviously i am here today to talk about my latest book, assault and flattery the truth about the left and their war on women. I will start by addressing how utterly absurd it is that the left is portrayed as a champion of women. Every book comes from an idea. I definitely had a few of those moments leading up to the right up of this book. The first came in february of 2012 when nancy pelosi invited freddie mac georgetown law student to testify on capitol hill about why taxpayers should foot the bill for contraception. At the time in the media she was portrayed as a young woman in her early 20s but that wasnt true. She had been well into her adult years for a decade before making his statements on capitol hill. My office is in roslyn, va. Which is right across the river from Georgetown University where miss sandra went to law school. After listening to her testimony i looked across the river in disbelief and just thought how is it that at my age which was 23 at the time of her testimony come as a young professional working hard to pull a paycheck and pay my own bills, this 30yearold woman wants me as a taxpayer to pay for anything other than my own medical bills, medical needs and anything else i think i should be having in my life. I was in disbelief. I couldnt believe, why was it 9 a month was that big of a deal for strong, independent woman to come up with. And the answer to is this was the left obviously likes to uphold people who simply passed responsibility for their actions on to others which is why i wasnt surprised when she was upheld as a hero and then of course put out on the campaign trail in 2012. Then another moment that led up to the writing of the book came when i was sitting at the 2012 the in Sea Convention in charlotte, n. C. And my job as a reporter in journalist was to sit through lots of different speeches and for hours and days i had been listening to speech after speech about mitt romneys war on women, conservatives hate women and not only did bill clinton speak on the same night that sandra spoke, but the dnc on demand ann coulter described as having the only confirmed kill on the war on women. The tv cameras didnt catch this because it was during a break but because i was there i did. In between speakers the dnc plated seven minute long glorious tribute video to none other than ted kennedy. Theyre complaining about the war on women. As if that wasnt bad enough, as they plastered the words womens right champion in all capital letters across the screen of the video they were playing. It was Pretty Amazing actually. For some reason they skipped over one of the most important and iconic moments of his life, the time when he drove drunk off a bridge, wandered away and left the 20yearold will Campaign Staffer who happened to be a woman to die in the car. No one dared to the the words chappaquiddick that night. They were not going to talk about is in the arena and certainly not in the media but i had plans to talk about it later that night. [applause] luckily, peers morgan still had a show. I was booked on a Political Panel appears morgans shows at night and i was on with peers morgan obviously. My friend Richard Bruno to serve as one of National Security advisor is for mitt romney and worked for the un, hilary rosen who famously said and romney never work today in her life and then jones, the selfappointed communist. Before sitting on set i was hoping, hoping piers morgan would bring up ted kennedy because it would be my moment and thankfully that moment came. In this city as they played, back to the convention, they showed mitt romney debating ted kennedy when mitt romney was challenging him for a seat in the 90s and mitt romney said in this debate that he was prochoice, obviously has since changed his position. That didnt stop peers morgan from asking me does it make you uncomfortable or hearing mitt romney espousing the doors of being prochoice . I just responded and said you know what made me uncomfortable . That at a convention that claims to be fighting the war on women that they would play a lanky, 7 minute video, a tribute to a man who left a woman to drown in his car. [applause] after that the panel exploded. We cant bring of chappaquiddick, no way, we can talk about how mitt romney bullied a kid when he was 13 the wind wont talk about what happened with ted kennedy so hilary rosen, a staunch defender despite claiming theres a war on women immediately yelled come on, appears morgan, on air said my comment was below the belt. What ever. During the commercial break the rose and turned to me and said i think what you said was disgusting to which i responded i think what he did was disgusting. [applause] on a serious note, ted kennedy is portrayed as this perfect example of how the left is supposed to be 8 and he is a false hero but he isnt the only false heroes that the left has portrayed in the media as if theres a difference, portrayed for liberals to look up to. Hillary clinton is also one of those people and most people dont know really about Hillary Clintons real record because on College Campuses she is portrayed as the ultimate female figure who provides a glowing example for women everywhere. The fact is that she doesnt. Her other legacy is one of defending racists and sexual predators. Im not just talking about her husband, bill clinton. Are you ok with that . Are you all right . To give you a little bit of evidence of this, audio of Hillary Clinton gleefully defended the child rapist was published by the freebie can. To give the laidback story on this in 1975 in her time as an attorney Hillary Clinton took on the case of Thomas Alfred taylor who brutally waked the 12yearold girl at the age of 41. Clinton said she thought taylor was guilty. The issue isnt her defense of the accused. After all this is america, the worst of the worst in our society get their day in court and are entitled to an attorney. Instead the issue is clintons behavior after getting tower of a lengthy sentence for his crime when she thought he was guilty. He served less than one year in prison. A reported, quote, describing the event a decade after they occurred clinton struck a casual and complacent attitude toward her client in the trial rate for a minor. I had him take a polygraph, clinton said which he passed which forever destroyed my faith in polygraphs and she started laughing. You can hear several points during this audio laughing and saying that oh the crime lab lost all of the evidence, the accidental destruction of the evidence is why taylor got off from the crime because he was no longer tied to the crime to to lack of evidence but apparently the destruction, accidental destruction of dna evidence wasnt enough for Hillary Clinton to go on. So instead she attacked the 12yearold victim, girl , as possible the emotionally unstable and someone who may be exaggerating romanticizing asexual experience. The 12yearold. Further, clinton wrote in an affidavit that the time i have been informed she is emotionally unstable with a tendency to seek out older men and engage in fantasizing. So she went out of her way to attack the victim in the case who was the 12yearold child who happened to be a young girl. The daily beast followed up with an interview of the rape victim, obviously a couple decades now and she heard this audio of Hillary Clinton laughing at her, for getting the man who raped her off and she said, quote, Hillary Clinton took me through hell. She took you lied about me and i realize the truth now. Wishy did to me, she is supposed to be for women, you call that being for women, what you have done for me . I hear you on that tape laughing . Seems pretty shocking that this newly uncovered audio is just one piece of Hillary Clintons long legacy career and life of defending sexual predators. Clintons history of Sexual Assault and abuse of young women under the rug for her personal and political game just as the left has done to women for decades is nothing new. And it persists today. Fastforward a few years, relieve the child rapist of any consequence for justice and you find for decades she willfully helped destroy the women who her husband, former president bill clinton was accused of sexually assaulting or rating. Funny how the left constantly screams the rape culture but they refused to address the rape culture that goes on in their own party. Time and time again instead of holding her husband accountable she defamed his female accusers as mentally unstable moons looking for money and clinton repeatedly allowed women to be lied about, third and manipulated so her philandering husband could hold onto power which eventually led to her own position as a senator from new york, president ial candidate and president obamas secretary of state. Speaking of her record at the state department, what exactly did she do during her tenure there . The pattern of behavior continues. She ignored sexual abuse of minor girls by highranking state Department Employees and she was ambassador to belgium, routinely ditching his protective security detail in order to solicit sexual favors from prostitutes and minor children in a nearby port including to an internal many by chief Inspector General investigator. State Department Security officials stationed in beirut was accused of engaging in multiple Sexual Assaults and further u. S. Embassy official was removed for allegedly trading visas for sexual favors. Cbs news first reported last year at least 7 of Hillary Clintons security agents routinely hired prostitutes on official trips overseas. This bad behavior was described as endemic by whistleblowers and although the agents were eventually reassigned they were not seriously punished and when investigations were launched into misconduct they were immediately shut down by Hillary Clintons chief of staff. The female whistleblowers who brought this to their attention, who spoke out against and exposed what was going on inside the state department were retaliated against doing so. Whistleblower kerri howard was run out of the Foreign Service and stripped of her job and was bullied for exposing u. S. Counsel general dollar or more when he allegedly engaged in sexual activities with women inside his Government Office and with call girls in naples. This is just a snapshot of clintons legacy of defending rapists and sexual predators. She has done it for decades but has somehow been portrayed as a womens rights champion. Record proves the opposite. Hillary clinton will go down in history as americas most famous in a blur of abusive and powerful men. The debate about Hillary Clinton and other false heroes like ted kennedy, and the historical record that comes with them is all but banned on College Campuses and it is my job and the job of people, young America Foundation to break through that censorship. We are often asked why young people in general but specifically young single women vote for the left when they tend to lean to the left but you cant blame them for doing something when they were never told otherwise. The Education System is about indoctrination in the University System is no different. The only thing they are hearing on campus is is how great Hillary Clinton is in the left is the way women should be leaning towards. You have to go in and tell them theres another side to that story. In addition in order to effectively fight on campus is very important to understand what exactly students are up against. Left is dependent on ignorance to accomplish their goals and push their agenda. The left has been playing a longterm game with women since the 1960s and lying about female empowerment and the quality of since. The question is how do we understand the left . We have to infiltrate the left and go to where they are, so last year, i applied for press credentials to cover the annual National Organization for Women Conference in chicago. I figured now, the Largest Organization of feminist activists in the United States with 500,000 contributing members and 550 in 50 states and according to the web site, since its founding in 1956 the goal has been to take action to bring about equality for all women. All women. If you are familiar with the hash tag. Unless of course you are a woman who happens to be a conservative or a capitalist. So prior to applying press credentials, i came across a letter which claimed the gold for the future, to expand and diversify membership, ongoing efforts to bring different perspectives to the organization. I was pretty sure i was going to get in and that i would be welcomed with open arms and the different perspective and diversity of thoughts to the conference, didnt happen that way. Two days before i departed for chicago i was informed despite being a female member of the press my press credentials were being denied, quote, thank you for your interest in attending the conference, as a member of the press. A woman named sarah smith wrote to me in an email, she is on twitter, press credentials will not be issued to you. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused. No other explanation was given so i wrote back and said as a female member of the press i would like to know why the credentials to the conference was denied especially considering flights and hotel rooms have been booked. I look forward to your response, thanks. She never responded so guess who was going anyway . That was me. I was going to go anyway but the only way to attend the National Organization for Women Conference i found out was made me do something i thought i would never do. I had to become a member of the National Organization for women so i am a cardcarrying member who pays dues. I am also a member in Good Standing after the speech i am not sure i will still have that membership. So when my plane touched down in chicago i wasnt sure what to expect. I knew chicago was ground zero for radical movements in the post 1960s 7 is a movement was no subscription, chicago was rules for radicals, bill moyers and the weather underground, jeremiah right and barack obama. I expected to see a room full of young women fighting for their rights but instead the room was actually pretty much empty. The question, why do you care what the National Organization for women think . Are they relevant to give their not. Theyre very important to Pay Attention to because people like barack obama in washington d. C. Are paying attention to what they have to say and take their advice when it comes to policy change and when it comes to messaging on certain issues but it wasnt necessarily the speeches that were being given that caught my interest at the convention. Instead it was the exhibit hall and what was being sold. They were selling books about marxism and the feminist movement. So that is the kind of material that they were selling at the conference. And so i was quickly realizing to mass im there, that now was not about womens rights actually bought about socialism, big government, and abolishing capitalism. You know, when a conservative organization has exhibitors at the Mainstream Media deems as radical as this is another booktv number of headlines and news stories. By contrast, when the nations largest womens Rights Groups features exhibits that preach moderate ideology and condemn capitalism there is no comment about it anywhere. Good thing i went to that conference. In fact, that teaching is not a tiny fraction of the modern feminist agenda. It is not a Fringe Movement either. It is a centerpiece. From the time of crawl marks in 1967 until today the progressive womens Rights Movement has hardly been about womens rights of what about the transformation of American Society and the transfer of wealth through government force. Womens rights have simply acted as the veil to distract away from the true intentions of progressive activists. Socialist revolution in American Opinion of a few things, a breakdown of the family and women voting for progressives, both of which they have been successful in doing. In the 1974 manifesto the politics of revolution and anti imperialism, domestic terror still bears devoted an entire chapter to how the womens Rights Movements should be used to advance revolutionary goals calling feminists to join the ranks and a political agenda. They wrote sexism will not be destroyed until imperialism is overthrown. It is in the collective interest of women to do this and to take full part in building a socialist revolution. We need power. Socialist revolution lays the foundation for the liberation of women and begins dismantling the tenacious and security of institutions of sexism. Now, there are only a few hundred copies produced. The book has obviously been long out of print. Only the closest activists were privileged to see their plans for women moving toward an american and through the decades. As the introduction to the manifestoes states, it was written to communist minded people but more importantly to womens groups have laid the groundwork for a longterm takeover of the feminist movement. This analysis represents the beginning of a process, not its final conclusion. So in this manifesto bel air sioux had close ties obviously to the president even though nobody wants to talk about the, he gave women a set based upon his realization of the power of an uprising of women to the progressive cost. He said, our goal is the development of feminism was genuinely determined safeguards and defends the collective interest of women and which points in the direction of revolution. We need to bill the revolutionary feminism. Women are at the intersection of the crisis and the will to survive. They believe that man acted as male supremacists to women and that in order to change society a breakdown in the traditional Family Structure was necessary. In order to destroy the structure they portray women as victims inside of it. The individual capitalist Family Structure is a wasteful social form and not healthy for children to grow up in. It is a trap for women. It is attestation form for Sexual Exploitation and a hypocritical double standard. The family breeds competitiveness among us. Maloof lee and the competition even in your own family name. The family allows no future for women to grow with children of carmen demeans of women separate and apart life of the community and the ability of single mothers to work in raising chair for care for children and maintain a household. The modern male run Nuclear Family when we tearaway the veil of sentimentality, the basic unit of capitalist society fabulous and the modern family feeding off of each others development. So you can see that they understood what capitalism was about and exactly the way that they needed to change. To the fact is, despite the and the grim and nine wasteful structure of a freemarket economy in the family, the embrace of the traditional Family Structure is one of the best things that has ever happened to women and has kept them out of poverty. It should be no surprise that according to a report from the United NationsDevelopment Product women living in anti freemarket our socialist systems especially in Eastern Europe experience higher rates of poverty. And so the manifesto was not on the french are far less policy positions. The philosophies were deeply rooted in marxist socialist thought and prevalent throughout marxist socialist writer richard take for example feminism and the Marxist Movement and other brick that i picked up the conference, winning note liberation of women is inseparable link to the struggle of the working class to transform all economic and social relations by Mary Alice Waters from 1972. Waterston was the editor of the marxist journal of politics and terry and idolized mass murder in her writings. In her work waters details the role socialism played in stoking the 1960s revolutionary feminists and, the socialist Workers Party in and socialist alliance promoted the idea is of womens liberation be necessary to change the economic structure of the United States. We threw ourselves into the movement to learn from it, to better understand it cannot help lead in an independent direction and win the most conscious feminists bring the most conscious feminists and understanding that only a socialist revolution to provide the necessary material foundations for the complete liberation of women. So they are saying in order for women to be liberated you have to tear down the capitalist structure. At the same time she row began the process of carmen ourselves directly. We study the relevant parts of classics more deeply than before and try to apply them to car reality. The fundamentals of marxism. So marxism heroes for watterson became a hero the feminist movement. Someone she glorifies and pointed out she pointed out that he was right when it came to the socalled oppression of women inside the capitalist Family Structure. She lamented the idea that men and women choose to stay home and be a wife and a mother and a knowledge that the womens suffrage about sex was not built on the idea of destroying capitalism but that it was something that needed to be changed. The hijacking and renaming of the Womens Liberation Movement after the 1960s. The one thing that people might not know is that the abundance Suffrage Movement was actually a conservative movement. It was conservatives who wanted women to have the right to vote. It was conservatives who pushed through legislation that allowed women to get the right to vote. It was the left that voted against giving men in the right to vote, and it was not until later when it it became politically convenient has lined up in the manifesto and many others that they hijacked the movement and have been getting credit for being pro women andersons fifth to much like they did with the civil Rights Movement. And so come as socialists began to infiltrate and hijack the feminist movement that began to create new organizations with an underlying agenda of socialism and redistribution of wealth in america. The National Organization for women was one of them. There are many more. Soaker by now we have heard a lot about marks. I think we need to take a look at what exactly he said and go straight to the source of the issue. What did he say about women . Well, you can find it all in the manifest of which is sold at your local store. No, it really can be found all in his manifesto where he boldly stated his goals of destroying the family and promoting single women in addition to dependence on coal powerful state government. He wrote abolition is a family saying that men plan to exploit their women. And, foundation is the present family, booze or family faced on capital, private gain. It is completely developed from this family from this family this family exists only minor capitalists, but the state of things finest compliment and the practical absence of family among the proletariat and the public institutions. So keeping women and children protected inside the family was exploitation. He also believed that they should be raised by an educated by the government. He said continued charges with wanting to stop the exploitation of children by their parents as keeping kids inside the family was exploitation. You see this along with the Education System. Why is it the progress of lawyer is to be at school from 7 00 a. M. To 6 00 p. M. He says to this crowd of wanted to destroy the family we plead guilty, but he will say we destroy the most our relations and replaced, education by the social state. Social studies ring a bell anyone. Marx failed to mention about women was sell his goals would leave more women in poverty along with their children. And so in closing there are just a few questions that we can ask in the modern era that are based of the feminist movement and the left the klan to be pro women in the modern era of barack. A few questions that we can aspidistra this idea now, if liberals really believe that strong, independent american protect themselves them why do they oppose the right to keep and carry a firearm for selfdefense . In a coming of barack obama is the most pro woman president in American History as many far less feminist groups have classified him, then why the sec to make women more dependent on the government and dependent on the government for everything that they have . You remember during the 2012 president ial campaign the Obama Campaign produced this life of julia show. And, you know, i always like to hold the left accountable up to there own standards, as if they have any degree to there own standards and statements. And theyre constantly screaming about sexism. It appeared this young woman who is born and then she dies. And her entire life she was dependent on the government for everything for her food, education, housing car raising a child, and everything. But where was the life of john . Why is it that the left only thought that it was women who should be raised by the state, the weaker of the genders, there is no way that they could survive any time in their life without a government handout and that the government of the hand . On that issue, of course, included in the life of julia, the right to an abortion gives women personal autonomy and sexual freedom, then why are debilitating aftereffects conveniently ignored . We often hear this. Well, if conservatives are against Womens Health and why is it the conservatives want women to know all of their options and all the information before they go and have the procedure . The left is constantly trying to keep information out of the hands of women on very serious lifelong decisions that they make in this medical areas. Finally, if conservatives are so insensitive to women and why is it that the sexual history of ted kennedy and bill clinton has been ignored or covered up for years. And the left has been lying to women and all of us for decades, and they have successfully rewritten history. The left talks about one talks about women in one way in reality and treat them differently. The left has been selling victim as empowerment for decades. I know that i am sick and tired, as a woman, of being defined by the polls lets take an being defined by lady parts were body parts or as a victim of my gender, and i am sure a lot of the women in this remark and the men are tired of being accused of hating women simply because he wanted to pay their own bills which once upon a time was an empowered to do. The bottom line is that women succeed through opportunity, freemarket scamander hard work, not through dependence on the government or socialist policies. To the place to push back against the classification of women by oppose the the take is on College Campuses and is important for Young American foundation to continue. Thank you for being here. Thank you to the students who have taken their time, and i will take your questions. [applause] hi. I am a arising freshman. My question for you is, first of all, i wanted thank you for your insightful remarks. You bring up a good point that the left often reads as misdirection and the covering of the true issue with there own faults the created issue. What i want to ask you is what you think that we need to talk about as conservatives that will draw aside the veil and provide clarity as to what the real issues are that are confronting our country and how can we do that . First of all, i remember grant. Doing a lot of these programs. I see him every now and then. Good to see you again doing good work. You know, that is a broad issue that needs to be addressed the issue by issue. But in terms of just not allowing the left to distract away from what the real issues are, the reason why they got away with the war on women rhetoric in 2012 when this happened in virginia as well is that as conservatives we kind of give the american people, i think, a little more credit and we thought that, you know, talking about Birth Control and contraception was below the public conversation. It used to be inappropriate to tell a woman that her dress looks nice. Now all a sudden its appropriate to talk about contraception openly. I dont know when that happened. But the issue is, if you dont define your own position first before your opposition defines it for you then theyre able to easily distract away from what the real issues are. For example, can kitchen million virginia did not do the best job of defining his own position on the issues of abortion and contraception are awake. Chris christie did, and his run. And he said, this is my position, takeitorleaveit. It was left on the table even though he was running against a woman. Did not come up in his campaign. And so if you dont define your position right away that allows a left to define it for you and allows for a distraction on those issues. Defining issues right away and then telling people, you know, i think that the conservatives also want to be a little more polite when it comes to pushing back. When the left is lying about contraception bans it is important to said theyre lying, not that they are misleading and maybe theres a different perspective, they are lying. How big of a decision is a perfect example, and it is coming from the highest level. Nancy pelosi commander eric clapton, Debbie Wasserman shultz and so saying that they are lying but defining positions and sending bynum and addressing them when they come up instead of just acting like theyre going to go away if you dont address them is the best way to focus on the issues that are the most important periods jobs and the economy. By the way, womens issues, i think, is also an offensive term i care about all issues, and i dont think that womens issues should be the only ones were focused on. Yet the left automatically thinks, well, i want to talk about it every time. It is not to recess saying that, what you think that one and only care about this, do you not think that women care about other things . I mean, isnt that kind of absurdly think that is the only thing that they care about and are too stupid to talk the economy . In a, throwing it back at them that way is a good way to start. I. Itos you i had three sons. I said, i would like to adopt you. That still goes. Done. I live in santa barbara. Lb at the beach. What i wanted to ask you about a month and have been in business 40 years. Ive worked with women, seen so many women in so many good positions that have done such great jobs. My question to you is, would it help if the women that are in these jobs, conservative women would speak out more possibly and letters to the editor, editorials the take a stronger voice in what is happening. What i see so often as we hear nancy pelosi and the rest of and get all this credit. I have seen so many great women and know they can do great jobs. What you think . I think women might the things that drive you crazy about the left is that they act like there is no other thought process on the female side of the spectrum going on after the hubbub of the decision, on National Television and saying this is an attack on women.
