With their weight and think almost everybody could relate to it and the people want to know what your book sounds like so i will read page number one will just pop and it was great. This is my personal story and the. Friday evening in the fall a biochemistry ph. D. After a full week of research and glasses i have shown an interested biology since grade school and how the body malfunctions batf tiny molecules affected our health and quality of life was fascinating to me. Learning about the inner workings of the body aside from in fancy my career and how well i did that things keeping my fat in check was never easy for me i would watch wait closely and would tell my calories with a combination of grains and proteins and abstained from anything fun sugar, carbs or alcohol i lifted weights in would run and newline was on my way towards fitness i held steadfast with dinner with my friends us saladin water bracing to go to bed hungry. 5foot 3 inches keeping under 110 pounds if i could just maintain this weight i could look like every of the College Student in be confident about my future but my guide 80 met that night would change the way for ever something profound by best friend ordered a beer in debris go and devoured it all. Maybe when 95 pounds she never went to the gym and disk indiscriminately eight fast food issues edged over a computer in the evening but she could eat Cheddar Cheese behans and rice all wrapped in a flower or tortilla with nothing unusual. She made no comments has to have to run on the treadmill the next morning nothing just the normal everyday occurrence eating a brio ed 8 00 in the evening. We are told is a calorie is a calorie is the calorie if he does keep a certain amount you will not be vat if you eat more eagan youll suffer the consequences. And then thats said to off on a path i have so many types of those stories. Of course, started a career as a scientist i started in research but then went into the business side per cars reaching wind as researching alzheimers but as i was looking for job one of my advisor said if you dont have reverting question still going to research it is of what is sacrifice so i said decided to go into biotechnology instead a like looking into the big picture. But then i have a burning question so went on a number of diets i could lose weight the sometimes i would gain weight. Nobody could understand that. Lies a guy would figure this out no more diets. You can tell by the way that they dress. I noticed everything. I can tell if anybody can figure this out i can. If anything that i could find. In did is so surprising in to know what i found. What was the most surprising thing . That fat is not just fat it is actually in endocrine organ hormones that our bodies depend on some people have a genetic defect so of my staff that they have smaller brains as well. Actually if they are too fat they cannot reproduce. And because that is so important to us because that has the direct link to the appetite and then fighting to come back onto was. Pet nature really does value our fat. You had the story about a girl who had no fat. Can you tell her what her life was like . So if you dont have any fat so tell us the story of this girl. I interviewed her so into the spectrum talking to doctors and researchers as a case study with the very normal girl growing up in new jersey and then she starts to lose fat first for face then the rest of her body as well with the enormous appetite went through the roof. Judy anything that she could find and astern to get blisters on her skin as below the navy came enflamed. And then went to a juror ecologist he took a panel and heard triggers allied triglyceride was way higher than normal is ashley the endocrine issue actually thought she had diabetes and mistreating her for that but then she continued to lose weight and appetite was the same. Finally she was diagnosed the person that spontaneously lose this vat tissue it stays in their hands a little bit maybe the face but nowhere else. When we lose that we also lose muscle but christina could not stop beating. Eating. So the calories would circulate in her blood endlessly. Sodium a2 alleviate those because it is pretty much impossible to do. So it was stored in her liver and never treated in to her abdomen. In those blisters mitt ardor for her to move but then they to go up the blood to clean it. Then she would have to go through this three times a week to cleanup the cholesterol but finally she did get injections and then the appetite finally subsided vitiate less if she could resolve some of her diabetes issues. Butterfat did not come back. She looked emaciating it but she was able to get her health back in order. But thanks to the discovery she did go along with a couple of adopted kids now but those people who wish they could not have that that if they had a case study that is the storage of calories but also for a the hormones that it is creating. That was an amazing story. So it sends that message to your brain that you want to eat. A lot of people sitting there will be near calies if it goes into the bloodstream the goes into the hypothalamus part of the brain with the signals that are orchestrating a signal that we dont have enough vat or that they have the genetic defect in been either case it is that pathological drive to eat. But then there was enormous drive to eat. But then at one time she received an caught breaking into the cougar to eat raw frozen fish. But nobody knew this. The 1. Even put her into a hospital. But she did not lose the weight. And in continued to gain weight but just more slowly. And then to be discovered at the university and then tested her for it andhe but again her appetite diminish. She went from an eating machine that is not a huge indication but to discover that it is sexy a very important organic tel helps those people to get the zero hormone that the fat makes. So fat is really important that sends a signal to your brain and to your body. So why are some people fatter than others why are they uniform . Spirit that was the question that set me on this road. Put the question is why do people gain with fax that day dont exercise enough. And then could not stop beating then the same thing with christina. So your brain tells you how much. Also the were not healthy anymore. So i know that we vilify the fact also depends on where youre fat is. And the visceral fat that is more the and hold the type of fat and then starts to interfere that is associated with diabetes and Heart Disease. In those civil rustlers they weigh 400 pounds. Sixtyseven hours per day. National healths to keep the blood clean of fat. So that keeps them healthy. So that is something with they do as sumo wrestlers. So all that we have is more subcutaneous fat did not have as much metabolic disease as you would expect. Today deliberately get that heavy the tissue have stories in the book that was the rovers some people who were very heavy and lost a lot of weight and then other stories as part of the experiment with a try to lose weight or gain weight can you tell us about experiments and they were made to gain weight and not at away with the brain wants them to be quite. It is not too different of the story of christina. Soap that sends us with the drive to want to eat more. So what drives the of metabolism will work. And we have to conserve energy. Bin makes the fat comeback. Pdf images of food but then at the same time those Pleasure Centers in their brain are diminished to have less ability to control and it is a recipe to get your fat back into maintain that for a long time been reaction after v22 percent fewer calories someone who was 170 pounds and has lost 20 pounds will have to eat fewer calories without having to diet soda is a penalty of but the downside is suggested you want to eat but people dont realize that they give in sleepy maybe after six months you thank you are good to go but they are not certain of widows a way for everybody but in there is a difference have to have lost some weight. Some made themselves that it is the same thing so for them they have to eat more and if that person is gaining 20 pounds with that person who is 150 pounds nationally say you do have a set point with a lot of effort to change that but it is harder than what they need you to believe it if it doesnt work for you with a calorie in and calorie out but some people get fatter than others if you yoyo dieting so that plates of food that they show you that could be too much for you so with those studies of genetics all of those things that lead to fatness as well why would a woman get fatter than a man . That is not fair. Even eating i. C. E. Cream every night and stays in his college jeans. That is not fair rival figure out why you can do that to do go to this research so even girls one borne have more fat down boys. And na age they have more fat and it continues into life if you e100 calories women may partition 30 of those so we are putting more into our fat. Widow uses this same way as men but with his buddies will reach for the fact more. Just like the protein but when that moment is over to put that attitude threetime higher rate which is subcutaneous fat which is a good thing. But men dont react to exercise the same and then it is a hung your hormone with 3 elevation to be more hungry after Something Like that. Plans men dont have that same response when you can argue there are evolutionary reasons for that. Everybody that is frustrated be that you do get more vat but there are good reasons to have some of that fat. It is hard to lose weight because you are eating more but whitman are fatter than men because they partitioned fact differently. So bacteria and viruses does that have anything to do with obesity . You save maybe they do. Been they do have a level in the fat. But that has been known in animals for some time. And that has been pretty excessive and that it causes some of rm. I am not sure that that is not true. But with gender and genetics and age and hormones hal easiest is for you to get fat. And it will be harder for you and i will say that. If there was a virus that was detected but just to go into more detail it was actually discovered of a similar virus with obesity patients working as a veterinarian. About this research if you want to study this is going to devote his life and so he quits his practice and packs up his wife and kids and his biography is so interesting that is a great story unto itself once he gets to the u. S. He cant get a job before he comes back to india he gets a job in wisconsin and is excited toave the job that the u. S. Wont let him so they have to pick a new one quite serendipitously that has the same qualities and that is 8036. The way it works is it actually helps absorb glucose out of your blood. Once you get this virus it facilitates the glucose into you create more fatty acids, so the fat cells you have are getting bigger and also they turn into fat cells. I thought people couldnt make new fat cells. They can turn into all kinds of things. When people go from a 56 or 520 and then you fill them with fat . Guest it is easier for someone that doesnt have a virus. There are a lot of studies that have been done now that is double the risk of obesity. Is it a virus that is doing th this. Guest i dont know that the answer is completely elucidated yet. I do tell a story of a patient for added and he was scratched by ahis rm rooster oa child and in his mind he connects this together a. The people that were studying in 1836 and they tested him for this virus and he was a carrier at some point hed gotten this virus and it was a Big Education program. They told the virus i virus is t affects people and how it affects fat. After learning all of this, the patient finally understood why he had all these problems. It was a great case of the knowledge of power so he does a whole bunch of things. He should be part of that to his success. Lets talk about whats going wrong so he felt very empowered by it and emboldened to exercise more and he also had a gastric bypass surgery and was very determined. But even that in itself isnt something that fixed the problem. He was still diligent now about counting calories and working out. He is now about 6foot two and is in great shape. Host does gastric bypass surgery get rid of the virus . Guest no. Can you get it from people and they cannot tell me know. They arno. They are not really sure. Host thats kind of scary now becausnot because there is e and people think that people can spread their obesity to them, its going to do to discrimination . Guest it i isnt the equivalent of a virus to put that perspectivthatperspective d 10 or more might have it, its not tiny but its not everybody and even if you have it if doesnt mean you have to be obese or fact it just means you gain weight easier. Host i guess i am concerned because people already shun people who are fat and you kind of dont want anybody to think if you get around a fat person you might get this virus and get fat. We have all worked with people and lived with people that have real weight problems and it hasnt always rubbed off on us. Guest isnt even sure how it is transmitted. This would illustrate that there are different ways host i just get worried about the discrimination thats out there anyway because thats like the last acceptable thing to discriminate against, to openly discriminate, so i just wanted to ask about that because i was a little worried. Okay. What about the whole known people the older they get, the better they get. So many people wear thin when they were young and by a middleaged again 20 or 30 pounds. Whats going on . You said your brain says how much your weight is. Does it change when you get older . Guest its almost a force of nature that we seem to accumulate more fat at least a great many of us. We lose a lot of the fat busting hormoneshat weve had so things like the growth hormone that helps us grow and keep the fact metabolizing. Testosterone levels decline and thats a great fat busting hormones. Men and women have less of it as we age. You cant really eat what you did when you were 22, the big plate of food it will make you fatter as you get older and its not just the level that the distribution that is affected as well. Well. Women will gain more fat in their hips and thighs and women get more belly fat so it affects those things. There was a study done on male runners at the national lab who studied 5,000 runners and he noticed no matter what mileage they were running every week, with age they gained weight. He ascertained its quite slow you have to increase your weekly running mile isles by about 1. 4s per week so someone that is running say 10 miles a week when they are 30, by the time they are 40 they should be running 24 miles to fit into that same that they did before. So, i think we have to accept that. The reasons for it i just want to dig out theres a case or a possibility as we age as well so theres something called the obesity paradox for people that have Heart Disease or a number of diseases. Sometimes if they are just slightly overweight if they do better than people that are normal weight or underweight so it is a paradigm that is thought to create. It seems when you are not the best or you are having a genetic issue people have a lower mortality rate, so i think it is one of these unanswered things. We think we have to get rid of it but more Research Shows that is not just fat, its doing things in our body that we are not really aware of and so that is another sign that theres more than we think. It might be doing other things as we age. One thing with women as we go through menopause, we have less estrogen and fat actually produces estrin did it come estrogen. Its not that they depend on their fat for estrogen and the reason that its harder to lose after menopause. Host thats interesting. So, its probably a good thing, people might not like the way they look, but for their health its probably good to be gaining weight as you get older. Guest it might be. People that are releasing ive had some relatives that are pretty fit and they will go to their doctor to gain some weight. Host and were they able to do it . It may sound like its not that easy to gain weight. Host guest by the time they are at that age their habits are pretty well ingrained so that is one reason. They get the joy of eating a lot to gain that weight. Host you mentioned people can be fat and fit. I think people assume if you are fat you cant be fixed. Can you tell us about people that are and what it takes. Guest it depends on where your fat is, not all fat is equal. Theres the kind under your skin, there is visceral fat under your belly and theres brown fat and thats something that produces heat sideburns energy to produce heat whereas the white fat would store all that energy into it as a potential turnaround, so just be aware of all the fat you have and the different deposits and what it is doing. So its really the visceral fat that is linked to morbid obesity and again stories of sumo wrestlers they store that and people exercising have more overall than in their visceral section. They have higher levels as we talked about. Its something that keeps our blood cleanup fast and a safer deposit and so hes levels are putting a lot of it away but they dont have these Metabolic Diseases and so exercise is something that produces this and we talked about sumo wrestlers that exercise for six or seven hours a day so even though they are obese, they dont have all of these Metabolic Diseases that normally are associated with obesity. Host how much exercise do you need to do to be fit but fat . Guest i found a couple things. One showed 20 hours of aerobic exercise im sorry host 20 hours, thats a lot. Guest 20 miles, i got that wrong. 20 miles a week of running would increase these levels and help reduce the visceral fat. The other was three amounts of high intensity interval training which is one part o part, 20 sef intense exercise and ten seconds of lighter exercise and you do this for about eight cycles. People who did that three times a week also were able to reduce some visceral fat. Host are there diminishing returns supposed you want to do more running or high intensity exercise would that make it any better or would you reach whatever youre going to get just by doing that much . Guest i dont know that there is a firm answer on that yet. Just in the phase i seen where they show what kind of exercise thats elevating i dont know the followup study where they tried it for more. Because it is fairly new and we are opening up our mind about fat, hopefully when we look at the science and we are willing to say that its not just gluttony but there is Something Else going on and i think the obesity epidemic, one thing thats going to put more Research Dollars into studying obesity what is and ho that andw its functioning and the more we do this, it is now weve got in some signals about how it is in oregon play much more will come now that weve started to open up the box and look at it like this. Host a question people always ask and i have to ask although im not sure if there is an answer, why is it that people have gotten fatter these days than they used to be . Guest i think everybody has an answer to that qstion. One half put forth is carbs. You provoke insulin and it makes people fatter. Host dot when i was a kid, people ate junk all the time. My husband was growing up in wisconsin and baked goods. They had bakeries for breakfast, lunch and dinner, coffee cake at breakfast, so i just wonder about the stuff thats now we are eating. I said wait a minute when i was a kid, we ate a lot of carbs and they didnt even have diet soda we only drink full sugar stuff. Guest thats one. Another one is genetics are at play so not everyone responds to food in the same way. Research was done where people had to eat different foods and they measured the response to this. They dont have a high blood sugar. They stay pretty steady. Other people can eat a small amount of the same thing and have a big response, so the programs are slightly different and i ensure genetics plays a role in that and there are certain populations that will gain more compared to other populations. One has been written about so they would say they have a 50 genotype or there were hunter farmers and beheading of exercise. The people that survived were thought to have this towards time of no food and no water in these adverse conditions and so then these people get onto the western diet and see more weight in fact they were measured about three times the obesity rate of caucasians in the environment when they were not in the same type of lifestyle. Theres another where they are finding the same thing as people gain more one of the issues i had to sign eastern indian and yes its probably something i have, genetics working against me but there has to be another reason we are more of a melting pot and have people coming in. Host fast food is more abundant and cheaper since you dont have to be hungry. Guest i dont know about that. For for a long time food has ben accessible and so, it could be Convenience Food or that we are busier than we have been, the working households i grew up when they invented tv dinners. We had some convenient. Every hypothesis you can say about its a difficult question. Guest the genetics have been brought into this also. Its almost like what we do is in our dna for example the study i saw where people exercise with one leg and they didnt exercise with the other end when they comparand when theycompare the s actually different. Its different depending on what you do. One thought is they are inheriting these patterns one generation to another. Host it could be viruses and bacteria as we get from it could be genetics or more fast food and hidden sugars, but the thing is what do you do now. And i think are there me interesting things on the horizon. If you had this therapy you would trick your brain into thinking you are fat when youre not so therefore your brain wouldnt tell you to keep eating. They would say we are losing more, come help me. Guest that is a good idea. Its still in the experimental stages, but we dont have it yet. Other things like individualized diets is another thing to understand peoples genetics and can we individualized a diet that works for you so youre not always going on when that doesnt work for you. Can you try one after another and try to find one that works for you . Tell us how you did this. Guest you could do hormone replacement therapy. It has its own riskbenefit profile and theres diet pills you could take that there is diet and exercise and the one thing you matter what is going on, genetics, viruses, that is still something we have to work with. I know that its mundane and not an exciting answer people are hoping for but there are lots of diet books on the shelf saying they found a magic answer and if it works for you then by all means, stay on it but you have to experiment so i eed up getting is of course being scientific, i started writing down what i ate and when i ate and with time, kind of a rough calorie counts on how much exercise and how much coffee did that i have, i started tracking everything. If i didnt sleep enough a certain day and just through the evolution of it with the observations i started understanding and i would weigh myself every day. What you ate, how much you exercise, when you exercise, how much sleep you got. Host guest dedications like aspirin. Guest host how much were you keeping it for the pattern . Guest it took me a couple months to figure out what was working and what didnt. So i finally figured out it doesnt leave me in for all kinds of reasons, being a female doesnt help and my genetics are at play. I have to work a lot harder than most people. I think that its easier to sell a diet plan when you say look at this great food you can have you dont have to be hungry and people buy it. They are hopeful and they want it. I found the truth for me which is i cannot eat that. My body is different and i dont know what normal is anymore but it ithat is what is defined by e industry with food guidelines so i learned i have to eat a lot less. When you are really battling stubborn that i could eat around thousand calories or so which is considered a low calorie di diet. A very low as 800 or less. When i was really trying to reduce i started higher and i went back. Host where you really hungry all the time . Guest for a whiltime . Guest. For a while i was. But i also did his intermittent fasting so if i ate at six or later i wouldnt lose weight if i ate dinner around 3 00 and would skip those hours going into the nighttime i coul do tht that stubborn fat. What did you do for dinner did you sit there with a glass of water . Guest i didnt really eat dinner and i think that at first it was concerning for my family in it put a crimp in date night for sure it got easier with time so in the beginning yes i was hungry and i talk about my own personal. It was the story. I was driven to eat and my body was working hard but what was different about it this time if i knew every trick and what it was doing. It was withholding food taking me hungry. My levels were going up and that made me hungry. My metabolism is low. I had it down. So now that i was educated and knowledgeable i could fight on the same terms and he gave me a great deal of determination. But i felt like knowledge was power and now i know what to do and i am going to carry on. I ill do interttent fasting and it doesnt bother me that much. And i can cook dinner for my kids and i might have a couple of spoons of food that i dont even eat a lot at night now. I would say keep an open mind. Host do you suggest people do the same spreadsheet as you . Guest i think especially for diets if you are trying one after another, there isnt one that can solve Different Levels it has to work fo for you biologically. Your body has to be responding on it and with the genetics in your age or hormone level, you might have to change that. Im not as severe as it was when i was trying to lose but i have an idea what this work and what do not. There are some foods that are a nono on my diet, i can have chocolate or even allow lots a. There is a war on the sugar but i know some things that will not make me gain weight but if i had a Chocolate Cookie i will gain a pound overnight. Host chocolate has fat in it, thats weird. Guest it doesnt have flour though. White flour is something that will make me gain weight so i can have fewer sugar but not big amounts of it. I cant have Something Like a brownie or a cookie so that also helped me to figure out where i can cheat because Everyone Wants to come off once in a while. Thats why diets fail because they are hard for people to stay on so when you come off you want to know what kind of things you can do and that worked for me at least so i think the spreadsheet approach is good and it will help you to tailor a diet to suit you or you can create your own like i did. But it also has to work socially and psychologically. Host thats why i asked what happens after dinner argued there was a glass of water. Guest some foods people have to have. Ive trie tried the ketogenic dt and it did work. I came off twice because i wanted Something Sweet and i cant psychologically it wasnt something i could stay on for the long run. Other people might be fine. Lifestyle matters a lot. I have a supportive family so i can do this. I dont have a job where i have to entertain clients a lot but if you have a job like this, it wont work for you. You will have to pick Something Else. Theres a number of diets out there that work with one that works for you psychologically and socially because it wont just be for six months whatever you pick because it is going to come back both increased appetite you will be on this for years. Host what about exercise . Guest i think thats important. A lot of diet experts will tell people not to overdo it because it does create a Hunger Strike and over people while overcompensate so you put it in slowly, start adding some exercise. I found that its hard to get all the way there without exercise and ive spoken to some experts who said 80 is done with food control only but the other 20 you have to add some exercise. It has all kinds of benefits even if we dont talk about weight or fat, adding lmas is a good thing to do, the bone and muscle that will help with metabolism. Growth hormone and testosterone levels go up after exercise, also said it has an antiaging benefit, youre increasing your brown fat when you do exercise so for all kinds of Health Reasons i think exercise is one to add and i do around 40 minutes four or five times a week. I do not elliptical, high intensity interval training so i make sure to add those four minutes of that high intensity and it works wonders. My extremely stubborn facts will have to give in. But i do aerobics, too so about 40 minutes of running oriented elliptical machine and strength building exercises is imported and again i talk about some research to increase the growth hormone and testosterone sub guest i have a weird question, what about fatter kids keep them in a spreadsheet and tell them they are not supposed to eat dinner, what do you duplex guest of course not has to work in all kinds of ways. I would never put a kid on that kind of a diet that is a tough one and also where the puzzle is why kidsre getting much better i take my to school the epidemic i hear about is in other schools so what is leading to that and i think theres a mix of genetics and the lifestyle factored in but they all give the caveat that you should consult a doctor first and i did my own kind of plan and i had the education to go on. My doctor had a blessing on it, too but certainly the type of food you eat will be a little bit smarter about what we are eating. The more fibrous dreams that we have, so we have different kind of bacteria in our guts that extract more calories than other types and so the more we get rid of some of the fats and carbohydrates we built a different type of behavior. Host so you would give them a healthier diet if you cant possibly do the that spreadsheet thing but try to do everything that people have suggested to make sure that they have a lot of roughage and healthy food and just sort of hope for the best because there isnt an easy answer. Host you can see where does my kid seemed to be gaining or not gaining. Host one last question, why wont you just say so my body wants to be fatter, why dont you . Guest its for me why and how and why isnt the diet working for me i have to know the answers to during my Research Days in graduate school i had this question that there was something amiss. Why are diets working for some but others said part of it was just really wanting the answer and the other was theres no going back either you are going to fix this now, im never going to hang into that debate could fit into that dress i might as well throw it away so its due i want to go on like this or get back to what i used to be. Theres Health Issues also. My blood sugar was getting higher. I dnt havall the effects of the extra weight is going to start. I was at the place this would have been so it was a now or never moment and i thought i can get the answer. Im going to solve this once and for all so i tell people whatever emotion you have come and use it to your advantage and for me, it was kind of an anchor to tell you the truth like what is this and how dare it. Host your friend how much she can eat so much and you cant, whats going on with you. Set me on this thing im going to be in control and decide. Once i decide to do something, i am not going to lose. I gain weight from time to time. I kept it off now and of course it happens i gained a few pounds. This is the key of dieting i talk about the psychology of losing weight and people will come off a diet and its a slippery slope so one of the things is you are going to come off every now and then but you have to be able to get back on and theres other exercises you can do to make it easier for your self. Its not a sacrifice every time, it just becomes habit. If you accept the fact maybe at christmas you will gain a few pounds its not like the end of the world its over now youre t again, but so what. You already know from your spreadsheet exactly what to do to get it to come off again and for other people, there might be other kind of solution that works for them but at least you dont have a magic solution that you are encouraging people to try something that works for them which sounds to me like given the knowledge people have right now it makes a lot of sense i would think. Guest dont be so gullible that is another piece of advice i would give. People are yelling things at you and i read about this history where when people became fat conscious it was all these entrepreneurs that came out with really weird diets, tapeworm and poisons people could suggest it was very gimmicky. We havent come out of this. Guest theres still a lot out there and people still do a lot of crazy things as we now so you are the scientific voice of reason and your book does go to what we have learned and how and who burned down and why are they accepted so that was interesting. There is a lot that i would guess people just dont know. Guest once you understand if you will understand its role in your body and why it is hard to lose and you will be in power to make a diet that works for you or live with your fat if you want to that is another choice. Guest theres a whole movement i think. And for some people, if you can do it, its hard because theres a lot of prejudice but on the other hand, it isnt the end of the world to be fat. And hopefully the book will change peoples thinking and the prejudice that you talk about thats important. Once people hav have it isnt a matter of eat less and you will lose it, theres a lot that goes into it and they meet with patients every week just like they totally diabetic stop eating sugar and come back in three months. People who are successful they meet with their patients weekly and it is a team effort to do this. It will be one of the hardest things you ask a patient to do and it takes more support than people think. You have to see people for years and then the prevention of it will be another thing i know we wait for people to get heavy before insurance pays for any kind of an intervention. The way that it is designed to stay on you its best to have our preventative measures and make people educated about it. Guest and the fact i had to lose 100 pounds is daunting. 10 pounds is a different story i would think. While, it is an interesting thing to see the whole thing laid out. You have people like christina and real human beings who struggle with these things and you have scientists who discovered it like the one i found out about the viruses. At least it tells people that there are individuals behind these things and who suffer some of the consequences, so it was a fascinating book. Guest i hope that it really enlightens people
