[cheers] Kellyanne Conway i am a wife, a mother, a catholic [applause] Kellyanne Conway counselor to the president of the United States of america [cheers] amlyanne conway and yes, i prolife. [cheers] is such anonway it honor to stand with the Vice President of the United States [cheers] Kellyanne Conway and with so many leaders, families, and students from places near and far to defend the unborn. [cheers] Kellyanne Conway your courage, your conviction, your resolve, and your faith are impressive. And consequential. This is a new day, a new dawn for life. [cheers] why are weonway here . What does it mean to stand together to be part of this Incredible Movement . To face criticism, ridicule, laws and lawmakers that diminish and erode our most basic rights and the bedrock of our society . It means to protect and to promote the most precious gift in the world, the gift of life. [cheers] means to conway it stand up, stand tall, and stand together against the indifference and the indefensible and to stand up, stand tall and the stand on behalf of these in the womb. [cheers] it is no conway coincidence that the first statement in the declaration of independence is the right to life. [cheers] Kellyanne Conway it is a right. It is not a privilege. It is not a choice. It is godgiven. [cheers] it is unique,ay and it is beautiful. [cheers] Kellyanne Conway this dismissive notion of out of sight, out of mind is over. [cheers] Kellyanne Conway science and medicine have joined religious equality in causing Many Americans to rethink just how fragile and how triumphant human life truly is. [cheers] Kellyanne Conway look at a sonogram, meet a thriving toddler who was born at 24 weeks, and who, with proper medical intervention, goes on to have a long and healthy life. Speak to the men and women who have faced challenges becoming and remaining pregnant, and then welcomed the miracle. Talk to the couples that shows adoption, not abortion was the best choice. [cheers] Kellyanne Conway every day is a fight for life, yet today is a lso a celebration of life. It is a time to lift your voices and lift your spirits. Step away from here steps away from here a president and a , Vice President s sit at their desks and make decisions for the nation. As they sit there, they stand here with you. [cheers] theirnne conway impassioned defenses of life as president ial candidates showed a nation that courage and commitment can overcome indifference and insults. And their decisive actions as president and Vice President will further this conversation and this cause. [cheers] this is a timey of incredible promise for the prolife, proadoption movement. Our message and or positive action must get out to the and our positive action should get out to the women facing this crisis. They should know they are not alone. [cheers] Kellyanne Conway they are not judged. They too are protected and cared for and celebrated. [cheers] so to theconway march for life 2017, let me make it very clear. We hear you. We see you. We respect you. And we look forward to working with you. [cheers] Kellyanne Conway and, yes, we walk, we march, we run, and we endeavor forward with you. God bless you, and god bless the United States of america. [applause] [cheers] Jeannie Mancini thank you, kellyanne. Thank you. I have another introduction. Mrs. Karen pentz pence is the second lady of the United States of america and wife to Vice President mike pence. She has devoted 25 years in the classroom as an elementary second elementary schoolteacher, and as second lady, she will bring attention to our children in art therapy programs. I bring to the stage mrs. Karen pence. [cheers] karen pence thank you. Thank you so much. [chanting usa] [cheers] you so much. Thank thank you, jeannie, for that introduction. You know, this is not our first march for life. [cheers] karen pence but it is the warmest. [laughter] karen pence our family has been to many marches for life over the past 16 years. [cheers] karen pence my job today is to introduce my husband of 31 years. [cheers] karen pence and very short and sweet, i have never met anyone who has more compassion for women, for children, and for the american people. [cheers] one of the kindest people that i know, the Vice President of the United States, mike pence. [cheers] [chanting usa] mike pence thank you karen. ,charlotte. And thank you on behalf of all of you, from President Trump. [cheers] wife karen, our daughter charlotte, i would like to welcome you all to washington dc for the 44th annual march for life. [cheers] mike pence its a good day. [cheers] best day i it is the have ever seen for the march for life in more ways than one. Mike pence i am deeply humbled stand before you today, deeply humbled to be the first Vice President of the United States to ever have the privilege to attend. [cheers] 240 years more than ago, our founders wrote words that echoed through the ages. They declare that these truths are selfevident, that we are all of us endowed by our creator [cheers] mike pence with certain unalienable rights and then among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. [cheers] 44 years ago, our Supreme Court turned away from the first of these timeless ideals. But today, three generations ande, because of all of you the many thousands who stand with us in marches like this all across the nation, life is winning again in america. [cheers] mike pence that is evident in the election of prolife majorities, in the congress of the United States of america. Mike pence but it is no more evident in any way than in the historic election of a president , who stands for a stronger america, a more prosperous america, and a president who i say proudly stands for the right to life, President Donald Trump. [cheers] mike pence President Trump asked me to be here with you today. He asked me to thank you for your support for your stand for , life, and for your compassion for the women and children of america. [cheers] one week ago today on the steps of the capital, we saw the inauguration of the 45th president of the United States. [cheers] you pence and i can tell firsthand, our president is a man with broad shoulders and a big heart. [cheers] his vision is his energy, his optimism is boundless and i know he will make America Great again. [cheers] from his first a a in office, he has been keeping his promises to the american people. I like to say over there at 1600 pennsylvania avenue, we are in the promise keeping business. [cheers] mike pence that is why on monday, President Trump reinstated the mexico city policy to prevent foreign aid from funding organizations that promote or perform abortions worldwide. [cheers] mike pence thats why this administration will work with the congress to end taxpayer funding of abortion and Abortion Providers. And we will devote those resources to Health Care Services for women across america. [cheers] mike pence and that is why next week, President Donald Trump will announce a Supreme Court nominee who will uphold the godgiven liberties enshrined in our constitution. In the tradition of the late and great Justice Antonin Scalia a. [cheers] mike pence you know life is , winning in america. [cheers] mike pence and today is a celebration in this progress. The progress that we have made in this cause. You know, i have long believed that a society can be judged by how we care for our most vulnerable. The aged, the infirm, the disabled, and the unborn. [cheers] we have come to a historic moment in the cause for life. And we must meet this moment with respect and compassion for every american. [cheers] mike pence mike pence life is winning in america for many reasons. Life is winning through the steady advance of science that illuminates when life begins more and more every day. [cheers] mike pence life is winning through the generosity of millions of adoptive families who opened their hearts and homes to children in need. [cheers] life through the , compassion of caregivers and volunteers at Crisis Pregnancy Centers and faithbased organizations that administer to women and towns in towns across this country. And life is running through the quiet councils between mothers and daughters, grandmothers and granddaughters, between friends across kitchen tables and over coffee at College Campuses. The truth is being told, compassion is overcoming convenience, and hope is defeating despair. [cheers] word, life is a winning in america because of all of you. [cheers] mike pence so i urge you to press on, but as it is written, let your gentleness be evident to all. [cheers] mike pence let this movement be known for love, not anger. [cheers] let this movement be known for compassion, not confrontation. [cheers] mike pence when it comes to matters of the heart, there is nothing stronger than gentleness. [cheers] mike pence i believe we will continue to win the hearts and minds of the rising generation. If our hearts first break for Young Mothers and their unborn children, and if we each of us do all we can to meet them where they are with generosity, not judgment. [cheers] to heal our land and restore our cultural life, we must continue blights, we must continue to be a movement all embraces all, cares for , and shows respect and dignity for the worth of every person. [cheers] enshrined on the walls of the Jefferson Memorial are the words of our third president who admonished us so long ago to remember that god , who gave us life, gave us liberty. [cheers] we thank you for your compassion. We thank you for your love of the women and children of america. Be assured, be assured along with you we will not grow weary. Until weot rest restore a culture of life in america for ourselves and our prosperity. You andu and god bless god bless the United States of america. [applause] usa]hanting [cheers] [applause] president ou, mr. Vice. Are we glad he took the time to come here today . President it for vice pence. Well, each year, we are very grateful for the collaborative witness of the orthodox and catholic bishops and opening our rally in prayer. This year, his eminence, chairman ofan, the the u. S. Bishops committee on prolife activities and the archbishop of new york will offer the opening prayer. [cheers] , we also welcome representatives of the Roman Catholic bishops of the united and the conference of oriental orthodox bishops. [cheers] [applause] how about another chance . Logistical duties back here with the secret service and other things. Pro. Life. Pro. Life. We are the prolife generation. We are the prolife generation. Generation. Rolife we are the prolife generation. Generation. Rolife we are the prolife generation. Ok, lets give it up for Cardinal Dolan. He should be coming up in just a minute now. Isnt that amazing that the Vice President of the United States addressed the march for life . [cheers] [applause] know, it is the first time in the history of the march for life that we have had a Vice President address us. God is good. So backstage we are frozen depending the departure of the Vice President , but very soon, i would say in 30 seconds, we will have Cardinal Dolan here. [cheers] [applause] 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 9, 8, 7, six, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Cardinal dolan. [cheers] [applause] let us pray. We praise you god and father of ,s all, sovereign of all life for assembling us to proclaim the dignity that each human person and the sacredness of all human life, thank you heavenly father for the gift of a nation where life itself is considered an inalienable right and where the dignity of each human person is a selfevident truth. Our prayers are the more fervent as they rise from christians, catholics, orthodox, people of all faiths in this one nation under god. Subject supplication this afternoon is the more hopeful as we rejoice in the solidarity of hundreds of thousands who believe so ardently in the simple right of the innocent baby in the womb deserving full protection of the law and the right to life. Our praise and intercession is powerful as we make it in the most holy name of jesus, the son of god incarnate in the womb of his blessed mother, our survey savior who reveals himself as the way, the truth, and the light. Amen. [cheers] [applause] [laughter] [cheers] [applause] thank you, Cardinal Dolan. The theme of this years march for life is the power of one. Throughout our history, we see the action, and the conviction of a Single Person can have a tremendous impact. Consider congressman henry hyde, who stood against a sea of opposition 40 years ago to pass the Hyde Amendment to ensure that taxpayer dollars would not pay for abortion. [cheers] [applause] anthony, an susan b abolitionist and leader of the woman suffrage movement, who spoke out strongly against abortion and the ultimate exploitation of women. [cheers] [applause] consider dr. Martin luther king jr. , who wrote so movingly about unjust laws from his birmingham jail cell, and who by the power of his witness changed the course of human history. Now, consider yourself, each of you has the power to make a difference in your schools, in your families, and with your friends. My challenge to you today is to use the power of your influence to stand up for the unborn. To give a voice to the voiceless , and to build a culture of life. Nd all the ways that you can if you do this, you will be amazed at what the power of one. An do i am very excited now to hasoduce to you someone who used all her talents to make an enormous difference. She is one of the great leaders of our movement, fellow prolifers, welcome again to the podium the president for the Jeannie Mancini. Such an honor to be here with you all today. Welcome to the 44th annual march for life. Es, we are 44 years strong january,r year every we travel across this great country to give voice to those. Ho dont have one, the unborn who was here last year . Raise your hand. We are here in blizzards, subzero temperatures, rain, sleet, snow, we are here, but we are here because we know that abortion is the human rights abuse of today. You know what . There has been a lot of talk about numbers this past week. The womens marchers talked about numbers and facebook, and people keep asking me, journalists keep asking me, what are the numbers for the march for life . Add up sos hard to many numbers after 44 years the cousin there have been a lot of us. But, that isnt really the point. The only number i care about, and the number all of us care about, is 58 million. 1973, 58 million americans have been lost to abortion. We stand here for them today. We stand for the innocent children who have lost their lives, and we stand for their mothers who regret being involved in abortion. And speaking of mothers, i would like for a minute to address the women that are here in the audience and the women who are watching on tv. Prolife is prowomen. [cheers] [applause] that voice might have been shut out last week, but prolife is prowoman. [cheers] [applause] in the words of one of my heroes, saint teresa of calcutta , better known as Mother Teresa, abortion is profoundly. Ntiwoman abortion does not empower women. Choosing life empowers women. [cheers] [applause] chosen to be have birth mothers. They have chosen a adoption for their children, and i know there are many adopted families here and watching from home, and they have been blessed by those noble and courageous birth measure mo. Unfortunately, while there are almost one million abortions in our country every single year, there are only 22,000 infant adoptions. That is a problem. We need to do something about that, and we will continue choosing life, choosing adoption. It is noble and heroic, and the life these women choose to give has the power to change a familys life, the power to change the world. Did you know that steve jobs, the founder of apple, was adopted . How differente our lives would be if we did not have our iphones . Allking of iphones, can you take out your iphone for a minute. Everybody take out their iphone. Doesimes the media doe not always record how many people are here for the march of life. I would like everyone to take a selfie and posted on facebook, twitter, and use the whywemarch. Nice, and now i would like to give a shout out to the young people here today. [cheers] [applause] i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You give me hope. You are the prolife generation, and i believe you are the generation that will bring an end to abortion. [cheers] [applause] joy, your love, your enthusiasm are exactly what our world needs. [cheers] [applause] theou know the theme of march for life this year is the power of one, even the smallest person can change the course of history. Every single one of you has the potential to change the course of history. In fact, you are doing that by being here today. [cheers] [applause] and every one of you has been gifted with a particular mission of calling to help held a culture of life and of passion to set this world ablaze. We need you. Our culture need you. Incredible lineup here today, and i know you guys are probably ready to hear from a few more and then get marching, right . [cheers] [applause] but before that, i want to show you a commercial that was the march for life released this year. We are winning the hearts and minds of america. There is a prolife consensus that exists among americans. We are happy to share with you today that very simple message that we all know, prolife is the new normal. [cheers] [applause] clip] abortion should have real legal limits. Even six out of 10 prochoice americans agreed that abortion should only happen in the first three months of pregnancy. That is consensus. But it is not the law. Why . Politicians. Many of them want abortion right up until birth. These prochoice politicians listen to them, not us. Not us. Now they want us to pay for abortion, our tax dollars. , nolmost two thirds of us way. It is time for this extremism to in. It is time for politicians to stop working for the pro abortion lobby and join the national consensus. [cheers] [applause] on sound. I am very happy to welcome to the stage many of the prolife members of congress who are fighting every day for our culture of life. [cheers] [applause] each of these legislators knows the true power of one person to make a difference. Time alone prevents us from listening to each and every one of you courageous leaders, however, we will introduce you to each of them, but first i will introduce a friend, the cochairman of the bipartisan congressional prolife caucus for some remarks. [cheers] [applause] thank you. I am joined by my dear wife marie and our youngest daughter. Pulled up,ences car and especially when he was speaking, my wife turned to me and said this is truly historic. This is the turning point of the right to life movement. [cheers] [applause] x president barack obama, the abortion president , did serious harm, but no human rights abuse need be for ever. You and i are part of the greatest human rights struggle on earth, and you are we are backed by a team of lawmakers. I have been in Congress Since 1981. They are the most effective, articulate, and compassionate members of congress that we have ever seen, and i want to please give them a round of applause. [cheers] [applause] we are very and profoundly grateful that President Trump and weiss president tends are already a accomplishing amazing things, including reinstatement and expansion of the mexico city policy, which was first put into place by president reagan and 1984. However, the new trum human rights policy will protect more babies from abortion, so thank you President Trump for that leadership. [cheers] [applause] growing numbers of americans are indeed shocked to learn that abortion includes dismemberment of a childs body or the literal starvation. I ask the press, please, tell the truth about the deed of abortion and what it does to babies and what it does to the mothers. [cheers] [applause] week, under the extraordinary leadership of paul ryan and the republican hrdership in the house, seven was passed. Every member here sponsor that legislation that will end the taxpayer funding for abortion and makes the Hyde Amendment permanent. [cheers] [applause] the Hyde Amendment has saved 2 million babies lives. The Empirical Data is clear. So what you have done all these years has made an enormous difference. Finally, next up will be babiestion to protect sponsored by of arizona and then defunding of planned parenthood. [cheers] [applause] planned parenthood destroys an unborn child every two minutes and has killed over 7 million 80s since 1973. That is more than all the People Living in the state of massachusetts. Undercover videos have expose planned parenthood leaders gleefully talking about procuring baby parts, but also enabling child sex trafficking and sex selection abortion, the most dangerous place in the world today for a child today is a planned parenthood clinic. Future generations will look back and wonder how and why such a society could have permitted the extermination by a abortion of over 60 million babies, but history and the survivors will ground,t you stood your you pushed back, and you endured any and every sacrifice, any and the leastr, so that of these might live. Thank you. God bless you. [cheers] [applause] next, please welcome congresswoman meal love from congresswoman from utah. Thank you very much. [cheers] [applause] 40 one years ago, a struggling couple arrived in america. They left their country, entrusted their two children that they would not see for another five years in the care to come herebers to the land of opportunity. It was inconvenient for them to find out they were pregnant with their third because both had to work multiple jobs to make ends meet. Some would say it would have been easier to have an abortion, but this couple had to make a difficult choice, protect the life of their child or always wonder what might have been. Of all the sad words of the tongue or the pen, the saddest are these, it might have been. And unborn has the potential to open up our world and take us to places and spaces we have never imagined. [cheers] [applause] each living child carries with him or her the potential for greatness. A child born today may become a doctor that cures cancer or alzheimers. That child may be the asked her not that takes the world to mars or leads a global business. That child may become a friend that saves a peer from suicide or strengthens her family and neighbor that volunteers and eradicates hunger, or a teacher who inspires a struggling student. Every time we kill a child through abortion we kill our potential. [cheers] [applause] , every time we kill a child we suffer. We lose a little of ourselves and a whole lot of our future. Strip of a child from their godgiven potential when we as a society except abortion as health care. [cheers] [applause] my fellow americans, we cannot except what might happen. Know what might have been if we allow under organization to convince our pregnant women that they have no choice but to a borat the potential within them. [cheers] [applause] we cannot except what might have been. We will not know what might have sohen an organization they can profit. To berefer for women victims because they know that a truly empowered woman profits herself, her community, and everyone she touches. We cannot accept what might have been. [cheers] [applause] when those organizations that profit allow our children in the inner cities to feel that they can only be empowered with a life by ending a life, no, we will not accept that. [applause] [cheers] instead of listening to the haunting refrains of what might have been, we must instead focus on what is to calm. Ome. O cal during the march of washington last week, i saw the picture of a black teenage girl in the crowd who was holding a sign wadesaid i survive ropey survived roe v wade. That woman beat the odds and was that far tooorld often would see the abortion of a black all breath of than the life of a black girl. Part ofd not become wha what might have been, but today is part of what is and what might come. I cant wait to see what she and thousands like her become in the years ahead. Or did be our astronaut she may be that doctor that cures cancer. She may be a mother, a teacher, a daughter, and a friend. She represents what is our to come. [cheers] [applause] ago, that couple from haiti could have made the choice to abort, but they didnt. They chose life. They did not choose what might have been. They chose what is to calm. They went and followed and fostered that light and the future and the dreams that baby would bring. I am certain this couple would never have thought that that child would become the first black female republican ever elected to congress. [cheers] [applause] more than that [cheers] [applause] more than that, they would never have dreamed that she would grow up to fight for all children and those yet to be born. We all have talents. We all have gifts. We all have a purpose. And all of this for the benefit of us and our society, all we are asking is that we no longer settle for what might have been. We embrace the possibilities of that life to calm. To come. They will dream. They will create. They will add the colors to the fabric of our lives. May god bless our women that are struggling with unplanned them, ncies, may we love may we embrace them, and may we help them discover their power, their potential, but may we funds toer allow our pay for the death of young children. [cheers] [applause] may god spare them. May god bless you for being here today, and may god less our prolife United States of america. [cheers] [applause] wow. Talk about the power of one, right . [cheers] [applause] i would like to welcome to the stage senator joni ernst of iowa. Oh, god bless you all. Thank you so much. Thanks for being here, and what i am wishing today above all i am wishing for all americans, whether they are born or unborn, is that they know peace, that they know love, and that all might be touched by the grace of god. Thank you all. [cheers] [applause] here andyou for being standing up for life. This is important to we know how important it is. Back in 2015, i introduced a federalto redirect dollars for Womens Health care away from planned parenthood [cheers] [applause] and give thatyou, money to places Like CommunityHealth Centers which provide greater Health Care Services regardless of a persons ability to pay. [cheers] [applause] thank you. Because as we all know, planned parenthood is the nations single largest provider of abortion. Thanks to the help and support of all of you, we saw a bipartisan, let me stress, bipartisan majority support my measure, and ultimately, we sent it to the president s desk. [cheers] [applause] folks, unfortunately, back then, we did not have a ,resident that respected life and he stopped us. [booing] thankfully [cheers] [applause] today is a different story , as you heard Vice President pence, we have a prolife president. [cheers] [applause] we must keep fighting for those who are unable to protect themselves, so i am thrilled to announce today that this coming thaty, i will reintroduce critical legislation to redirect planned parenthood funding [cheers] [applause] we will redirect planned parenthood funding to other eligible Womens Health care providers. [cheers] [applause] i am also going to introduce a bill monday to stop what some have referred to as president obamas last gift to planned parenthood, title 10. Representative diane black is joining me in this alfred and it would scrap the obama administrations 11th hour rule that in trenches federal fan funding for planned parenthood. Folks, we are going to stop it. [applause] [cheers] we as a prolife Community Honor the Civil Liberties independent and strength of a woman, all women. Meansat means, and that while supporting mothers and protecting the most vulnerable in our society, the innocent babies who are unable to defend themselves. [cheers] [applause] mother, as a grandmother, and as a woman, thank you for joining me today, and standing up and marching for life. God bless you all. [cheers] [applause] , and again, you all , want to say, thank you, god for giving us this day. Thank you all for being here. And again, we wish all americans peace, love, and that they will be touched by the grace of god. God bless the United States of america. [cheers] [applause] thank you. Thank you, senator. I just deeply want to thank all of the members of congress that are here today. As you can see, it is a very extensive lunch. We will not be able to run through all of the names, and i am very sorry about that right now, but i cannot thank you enough from the depths of my heart. They are fighting for you day in and day out. [cheers] [applause] thank you very, very much. Average, it is important our lawmakers hear from prolife americans, especially young people, so what im going to do right now is take those iphones out again, grab your iphones, take them out , ok. Thank you. [cheers] [applause] take, so i want you all to out your iphones right now and send a text message to the 000. Er 99 0. At is 9900 the keyword is march for life. 000, it is up on the jumbotron there if youre not following me, then you type march4life. Receive ae message that gives you tools to interact with your members of congress to talk to them about prolife legislation day in and day out. Go ahead. Do it right now. Thanks very much. [cheers] [applause] i am grateful for the witness of our next speaker and ask that you join me in welcoming abby johnson, the founder of and then there were none and a former plan parenthood clinic director who is here to share her story. [cheers] [applause] hello, prolife america. [cheers] [applause] i am so proud to be standing with you all today. It is such an exciting time in the prolife movement. I believe we are just a short time away from the funding our countrys largest Abortion Provider am a planned parenthood. [cheers] [applause] and i believe that in the next four years, we will see the end of roe v wade. [cheers] [applause] i stand in front of you today, a woman who spent eight years of her life working and running a planned parenthood facility, but because of the power of conversion, because of the power of christ, i stand in front of you as a woman who has been redeemed from her past. [cheers] [applause] today, thankfully, i do not stand alone. There arery, and then none, has 12 former Abortion Clinic workers with us today. [cheers] [applause] the best news is that is just a small percentage of the amount of women and men and we have been able to get out of the grips of the abortion industry. Today, in the past four years, we have helped 330 Abortion Clinic workers leave the industry. [cheers] [applause] oh, yeah. They are here. I thought i was going to be a peer a loan, and they are here its sorry, that threw me off track. Ok. Another great celebration to our ministry is that we have had seven fulltime abortion doctors leave their practice in the abortion industry. [cheers] [applause] this year, we are talking about the power of one. Almost every woman standing here with me today was touched by one person. For one client, it was one person who slipped our website underneath her windshield wiper. For another client, it was a young man who reached out to her and shared about our ministry. For me, it was a 13 week old change mye womb that life. One person, you, can change the course of another persons life. [cheers] [applause] here is Something Else for wade is roe v antiscience. [cheers] [applause] the science today, more and more and more and more, and thats why there are so many young people here today, says that is a person in the womb. The university of mary is so honored to be chosen to lead this years march for life here anlast year, despite impending blizzard, hundreds and thousands of us still came to the march for life, and god gave us the opportunity to continue to witness to our love of babies as we sat stranded on the pennsylvania turnpike for more than 20 hours. Each of us was there to sacrifice, to be a joyful witness to life, to have the courage to make a difference. Sense roe v wade more than 58 innocent human beings have had their life taken ourbortion, a third of generation, ill classmates, our teammates, and our friends are missing from our lives directly because of abortion. Their body parts sold. Their rights disregarded. One deathblow was not enough, women of my generation are now the largest providers abortion like planned parenthood, and so i say, youth of america, fellow notege students, this is someone elses problem. In difference is not an option. Ending abortion is our responsibility. [cheers] [applause] and we stand on the shoulders generations of past prolife leaders, we are positioned by providence and buy history to in the scourge of abortion in our nation. [cheers] [applause] than ever, we must hold ourselves to a higher standard, fighting ridiculously for the lives of our brothers and sisters regardless of the sacrifices required. As we march today, let us keep ours is ahat movement from inside out. Our battle does not start in a court room. Our battle does not begin on College Campuses or classrooms. Our battle begins where we have the most influence, within our own hearts. Prolife battle begins with the daily decision to live by the truth, that every life in every stage is beautiful, dignified, and the mans our love and our protection. [cheers] [applause] there will be times when we are ridiculed and rejected for standing for life, then we we will remember what our eyes behold on this day. Everywhere i look on this january morning, i see women and men who despite criticism and hardship have dedicated their lives to the struggle for truth and for justice in the United States. [cheers] [applause] can stare intoe the face of this injustice and have hope, for we know we fight for the truth. , for we knowjoy that through christ the final victory has already been won for us. As tight end for the Baltimore Ravens, Benjamin Watson might not be your typical prolife leader, but this incredible athlete, husband, and father is a true embodiment of the power of one. Please welcome to the stage, Baltimore Ravens tight end Benjamin Watson. [cheers] [applause] hey. Y, are you all cold . I am too. Here with honor to be all of you. This is a beautiful sight to see. Many people wonder why this is important to us, and i will say this. The answer is simple, because i hold life in high esteem, but even beyond that, this is because of three things i dedicated my life to. The book of jeremiah chapter nine says best says the lord, let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, let not the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts, boast of this, that he understands and know me, that exercisesord who living kindness, justice, and righteousness on earth, because i delight in these things and declares the lord. [cheers] [applause] to delight ins the very things my creator does. As you rally and march today, remember three things. First, the power of loving kindness, that we may comfort the men and women who made these decisions willingly or under duress. Pro life will not only be a political stance or argument, but a way of life for all of us. [cheers] [applause] prolife should be allencompassing, from conception to the grave, standing for life includes victims of sex trafficking and abuse, the hungry, the poor, the dissident fan its to, as well as the elite. [cheers] [applause] let us remember our commitment to justice, that those who take innocent life be held accountable and that these lives will never be forgotten under the guise of choice. That we stay the course when the fires inside us burns and the embers flickers. In many respects, this battle ending. Never never forget that the goal is worth the effort. I stand with you in the sense of voiceless, the preborn which are precious gifts. Thirdly, let us remember the knowing righteousness that we answer to a higher calling. Grace, which is my daughters name, grace is cover our many aults in a time of relativism, we must remain convinced that trends better than any and because of this, we are engageed passionately to our culture without compromise. Out there,ll you men men. Is passed time that we be the lead caretakers and that we were meant to be. E as men must stand up for the lives of the innocent and their mothers mothers. As important as women have been this cause, you men, us men must rise up and lead the charge. If it wasnt demonstrated for you by a father, you can be different. Ou can change the course of generations. Men, we can be silent no more. Ooking out, i see a sea of collective humanity. Looking closer, i see individuals who have their own influence. This is the power of one. It is the power of influence, to influence people in our neighborhoods, in our churches, our teams. Places, on it is also the power to unite as we have today as one for a cause to end the unthinkable practice of abortion of america. D states [cheers and applause] thank you for marching, and, as a beautifulee sight. God bless [cheers and applause] ok, folks, were coming very close to the end here. Its been amazing, hasnt it .
