This is the bill that, at the end of the day, will come to the president s desk, repeal we are very much in favor of the threepronged approach that we are doing. We know we are limited and what we can do in reconciliation, which is step one. Step two and three are coming tradeuickly after that education and Workforce Committee past three bills this week that augment that third bucket that the speaker has been talking about, the president has been talking about. So we are moving forward and we are unified. We want to repeal and replace obamacare with patient centered health care. As the chairman of the Budget Committee and a nurse, i understand health care and i am excited about getting the bill. It comes from energy and commerce, and also from ways and means, and being able to bring those two bills together into one, unified bill which will be sent on to the rules committee. Having been with my members of the Budget Committee today, we are unified in what will be coming out of that, bringing together of those two bills. It is very exciting for me as a nurse, especially in the state where we see an absolute implosion of what is happening in obamacare. We actually have many, many counties in the eastern part of our state that do not have a single provider on the marketplace. We are rescuing the American People. For a nurse, this is something that excites me to see that we will have patience patient centered health care for the first time. Will see not only the changes we made giving power to the states, giving the more authority, but we also put in place funds that they can access directly to take care of people who are flitted with various issues, including drug addiction or Mental Health issues. So, we care very much about that. State stability fund, there is money there. Hundred billion dollars over 10 years, states can make that decision. They will have more flexibility in how they manage the people they care for today. They will not have to come to washington to get approval. You used the word, affordable, earlier. One of the talking points with obamacare has been that it forces people to buy plans that have features that they do not need. When you talk about affordable what sort ofnce, coverage levels do you consider to be appropriate and affordable that can provide people with good care, that is not catastrophic coverage . Good question. We have that safeguard in the bill we move forward, and we also allow flexibility. Now people are being forced to buy plans that do not work for them, so they pay the irs the tax penalty instead. They do not get into the market. 45 of those are under the age of 35 treat younger people that we need in the market, we need to fix a plan that works for that age group and we have done that here. This morning i spoke with a congressman who are getting in else from constituents saying, q you just given the plan that congress has . Can you adjust that situation, if i cant give conduct why cant Congress Give everybody else what theyve got . I for ship that plan because i am in the d. C. Shop exchange under obamacare. When we fix obamacare or do not fix obamacare, we are directly affected. I am on a blue cross land through the Obamacare Exchange rate here in washington. By law, that is where we belong.
