Bangladeshi Officials Say it was carried out by home grown militants. In turkey, 16 more suspects in last weeks deadly atk on the istanbul airport are appearing before a judge. Ben, what are you learning . Reporter very little in terms of exactly what happened. It appears it was a refrigerator truck that went off just before midnight saturday night. What is notable about this bombing is that it seems to have created a wave of flames that went out to both sides of the street causing huge damage to this commercial area, killing at this point where we know as many as 215. Its expected that the death toll will rise as they dig deeper and deeper into the ashes and the rubble at the scene. According to the iraqi police, of the bodies recovered, 81 are simply charred beyond all recognition. They are going to have to do dna tests. This means that hundreds, thousands perhaps of people in baghdad have no information about loved ones that seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth saturday night. We were at the scene of the blast for about five hours. There, for instance, i met a woman who told me that for more than 24 hours, she has been going from one baghdad hospital to another, from one morgue to another searching for her 29yearold son who was clothing shopping at one of those malls on saturday night. She said, all the bodies she saw simply were beyond recognition. Another man was sifting through the ashes and the rubble and found his brothers prayer beads. He broke into tears sobbing uncontrollably and had to call his mother to tell her that her son had died in the blast. Many seeking for information but there is very little available. They have been identified as being 18 to their mid20s and identified as being affluent or upper middle class, welleducated. I spoke to the father of the youngest attacker. His father says he had not seen his son since february. His son has suddenly disappeared from the house and gone it Law Enforcement authorities for help looking for the son. The father has become increasingly concerned that his son had perhaps taken up with an islamic group. Previously, he had never shown signs of radicalization or religious extremism. At 18, he believed his son was immature and impressionable. He says his son was full of humanity, a kind and loving person, thats why he cannot swear the child that he knew with the man who acted out that hideous massacre with a gang of assailants storming into a cafe killing 20 people inside, killing two other Police Officers who tried to stop the hostage situation, freeing 13 people in the end. The father says that he cannot bring himself to go identify his sons remains, because he just cannot believe his son would carry out an act like this. Isis has claimed responsibility for the attacks. U. S. Intelligence officials are also looking at isis as the likely perpetrators of this attack. It appeared people going to the mosque at the end of the day, nightfall just as they would be breaking their fast. It is getting to the holiest part of ramadan right now, the next day or so is the big festival. This is a time for muslims of absolute joyousness of coming together with families, buying presents for everybody. A huge deal. There would have been a lot of people at any of the mosques in that area. Not quite clear from the video precisely what one was being targeted. The source i spoke to said that the suicide bomber trying to get to this mosque wasnt able to reach it, blew himself up. He wasnt able to explain why the suicide bomber couldnt reach the mosque, blew himself up. There were no other casualties other than the suicide bomber. We were getting implications there may have been another suicide bomber in another part of saudi arabia. It does appear that that is the case. The city there is medina, one of the two holiest sites for islam. After mecca, thats the other place they go to on their spiritual pilgrimage. These are early reports. We need a lot more information. We need to run down these details a lot more. Its very troubling knowing that isis is operational in saudi arabia, knowing that they have killed people this year in saudi arabia, knowing that isis, itself, leadership, has called for attacks during ramadan. I think we need to hold off before we read too much into it, until we can get more details from authorities as they get on top of these developing situations brianna. We are just two weeks away from the Republican National convention in cleveland. It is a convention that was expected to bring drama but now will be a showcase for expected nominee donald trump. By the look of things, in our cnn poll of polls, trump is going to need a bit of a bump coming out of the convention. Hillary clinton leading him by six points in this poll of polls. Here with me to take a look at the state of in is ryan liza and david chalian, cnn political director. Lets start on the republican side. We are looking at these poll numbers. He needs to perform a little better and bring himself up. With the convention being an opportunity and what we know about past conventions and really how much of a push it will give a candidate, is this something he can capitalize on . It is not 100 they like to make things a little bit implicit. It is not 100 obvious it is antisemitic. It was a star of david that comes from a racist website. What i find astonishing is instead of apologizing, he changed the photo and repeated a new version of it. Which is an acknowledgment that there is a problem with the sixpointed star itself. The Clinton Campaign is all over it. They fired back. It says Donald Trumps use of a blatantly antisemitic image to promote his campaign would be disturbing enough. The fact that it is part of a pattern should give voters major cause from concern. I believe this is from her jewish outreach director. Going on to say, not only wont be apologize for t he is peddling lies and blaming others. Trump should be condemning hate, not offering more campaign behavior and rhetoric that engages extremists. Close to that burning vehicle, at least two men in uniform. It looks like Saudi Security of some kind. Possibly two others closer to the burning wreckage of the vehicle. Early minutes on this attack. We dont have a lot of details. I just asked the question of a source if there was any word on casualties yet for the attack in medina. He said he didnt have any figures on that. What we know about the one in katif, it was a suicide bomber. He detonated his explosives and we are sold there were no casualties in that particular attack. What we have seen in medina, a very, very important site to muslims throughout the world, not just saudi arabia. The second most holy site. One of those places where people will go to on that pilgrim annal. There will be a lot of going there for precisely this reason. In medina, we can see there are several casualties. We dont have further details on precisely what happened, brianna. The timing, what we can say about this, it appears to be no coincidence. Politically, that kind of ends the issue for her. There air lot of republicans that will never let that go, who will argue that her oversight of what happened in benghazi was flawed at the least. For the people actually persuadable, which is, after all, not that many in a general election with such a polarized country, i think just like the benghazi report, if she is not indicted, she moves forward. Now, this question about her aids, of course, what are the ramifications if people around her are in serious legal peril . It will have influence on her. Both benghazi and the email story have collected their pound of flesh so far. If there s not anything new, its not as if she walks away without any damage from it. I think these honest and trustworthy numbers she has spoken about herself just recently obviously have been a hurdle for her and i do think that when you look at the polling across the board i think, you know, its largely a lot of these question that voters still have about her after more than two decades in the public eye that still linger around her as to why she hasnt catapulted to some other universe of being able to shut down this election and run away with it. She shouldnt be beating donald trump by six points, she should be beating donald trump by ten points and she has some really serious flaws, mostly on 2 character issue that are holding her back. Politically i think what cnn has been reporting for weeks, i believe, that there wont be indictments. If that holds i think this issue largely goes away. Were updating this by the moment about three separate suicide bombings now, two mosques, one shopping area. The video youre looking at now is in the holy city of medina. You see those flame there is in the background. We also have a picture of another attack at a mosque in saudi arabia. Genl, this is a rapidly developing story, nick. What are we learning . Were getting more details. So weve said before that we had one attack targeting a mosque in the city of a tv in the east. An attack in medina, the very holy city in the other side of saudi arabia. The new details i have about that attack in medina, this was not as we were originally understood, not targeting a mosque, rather targeting Saudi Security forces. Now, we know Saudi Security forces in the past have been a target for isis. What were learning now is that four of those Saudi Security forces that were targeted there by this suicide bomber in medina, four of them are dead, at least one of them is injured. Now, while weve been getting to all those details, theres been another attack, a Second Attack again in the city of katif targeting a Shopping Mall. Again, it was a suicide bomber. Both those attacks have failed because they failed to kill anyone other than the suicide bombers. So again a Shopping Mall and a mosque in the eastern city of qatif targeted. No casualties. The attacks there failed. In the west of the country, in the holy city of medina it was the Saudi Security forces who were targeted. Four of them have been killed and at least one injured. The suicide bomber there dead as well. Nic, i think we got updated numbers, right, christina, what you just told me . You just reported four killed, this is how quickly this is developing. We know it is six. You reported four Security Forces, unclear these other two who have been killed if they are Security Forces or not. As you mentioned, isis has had this we dont know this is isis, we have to be very careful about that just to put that out there. This is has just happened and were learning more details, nic, but you mentioned people who follow isis to take out security members including their family members. Originally we had six dead then i think as the information settled and we got perhaps more precise information that number has been backtracked to four but i think we should expect it to change. This is a developing situation with an early analysis and the state of the injuries for some of those Security Officers involved isnt clear. They put out video earlier this year of a young swat team officer taken out to the desert by his cousins. They gunned him down and killed him in cold blood and then pledged allegiance to isis as well on that video. So this is what the Saudi Security services have been up against.
