0 good morning, everybody. it's 7:00. glad you are with us this morning. we begin this morning with an update in the unsolved murders of two texas murders. this week when somebody called in a bomb threat during a memorial service for the district attorney and his wife, whoever made that threat has not been found, but police arrested this man, robert miller and charged him with making a terrorist threat online against the deputy district attorney, and another man faces charges, and he is accused of threatening a county official, and the police say the two are not tied to the killing. martin, how do these threats relate to the case? >> reporter: well, you know, good morning, miguel. they don't relate in a direct since and they don't believe these two men have anything to do with the murders that have taken place down here. but it shows authorities are not taking crap when it comes to somebody making a threat to law enforcement or a public official down here because both have been charged with a serious offense, and that's one count of terroristic threat. and authorities are not going to put up with a threat or foolishness in this regard. the bomb threat was made during the visitation for one family, and it's unimaginable somebody could go to such depths of lowness. and nothing like this is going to be tolerated, and they will come down on you like a ton of bricks. >> makes sense. >> we are hearing more speculation about mckhreplen and his wife. they may have known the kill kwrerkiller. >> reporter: yeah, we talked about the white supremacist groups that could be involved or maybe it was somebody that knew them and then it possibly could be drug cartel. how did the killer get into the home of mclelland and his wife. and somebody came to the door and perhaps it was somebody they knew and they felt comfortable opening the door, or some kind of raooos. and then you harken back to the head of the prison chief, a pizza delivery man came to the door. nobody knows who that was. police arrested this man, james ebel. and lors is expected to be a friend of ebel, and ebel died later after being shot by the police. and then an atf official said that river view gun sales lost the firearms sales license 20 days after a newtown massacre. adam lanza's mother bought a rival there. a hepatitis scare in a new york city after a restaurant worker tested positive for the disease. anybody that had dessert between march 23rd and april 2nd there at the restaurant should be tested. employees will be doing the same. >> in the front and back of the house will be getting a shot no later than monday. >> i am shocked. i love this place. great service and food and i recommend it to a lot of people. i am surprised. an ohio family was cold and wet but happy to be rescued after 24 miserable hours in the florida everglades. they spent the night in the air board after it was stuck in a cypress tree. the father says everything was great until it wasn't. >> took a wrong turn. had a great fishing trip. the boys had fun. wife was having fun. came to the end to the one canal and took a right and couldn't get the boat turned around. >> a state official says it was a good thing he was used to the outdoors. he built his family shelter on the boat to protect them from the rain. and then increasing signs that the country may be making good on its threats against the u.s. and south korea. and north korea is warning it won't protect foreign diplomats if war breaks out. and jim clancy is watching what is unfolding. jim, what is the reaction in south korea to north korea? >> here in south korea people are used to this kind of high stakes rhetoric. it happens every year when the u.s. south korean have joint military practices here, and north korea does not like that much. and one of the only ways that we learn information like this is from people who visit, and there are tour groups that go in, and a lot of them are based in beijing and from there travelers can visit north korea, and it's pricey and you have to pay north koreans for the right to get in there, and one of the leaders talked with us earlier and told us what she saw, and we asked her, because everything out of the ordinary. listen. >> i didn't feel any different towards us, and people smiling and waving, and kids coming up and rollerblading, and coming up and saying hello. no different in that respect. >> they visited bowling alleys and went to some of the public parks and went to bars and things like that, and she saw soldiers but they were planting trees, and it's the planting season, and there it seems all normal, and there's a huge gap between paoupb yang and the country site, and that growing gap is getting larger. >> what is your sense of it, jim? you have dealt with it for a long time. do you think it's about internal politics, and kim jong un trying to wrestle things internally or it is a true threat externally? >> well, you know, kim jong un is a new leader. he has taken things further than his father or grandfather. threats of a nuclear strike against the u.s. main land. he does not have the capability to do that, but the fact that he would say that he is climbing way out on the limb and the question is can he back down? he can swing at us with all the fiery rhetoric, but we have yet to see if he is capele of backing down gracefully and letting things cool off, miguel. >> the u.s. has to back up south korea, and there are 29,000 u.s. troops here. what kind of response are we seeing out of washington to seoul? >> they are relying on deterrence. they know the joint military detourants are the best they have. they don't expect north korea to make an assault on the south here. and they expect provocations, we expect a missile launch, test one of the new medium range missiles, and that poses a threat if it were used in the military sense. they have spy ships, and they want to monitor it closely. miguel, this is not a well-tested missile. nobody knows what its range is, and nobody knows what its accuracy is, and that's what they want to know. >> jim clancy, thank you for being on it for all of us. and then having its eye on petraeus. agents interviewed him outside his home yesterday and they are looking to whether he passed classified material to his mistress, and last month in a speech petraeus apologized for the hurt caused by his affair. and dismal and disappointing jobs report. it was nearly 100,000 fewer people than most analysts expected, and then unemployment rate at 7.6%, and that's because a lot of people just stopped looking for jobs. here is a look at what is coming up. how much are you paying for prescription drugs? it could be a lot more than your friends. we will show you who the worst offenders are. more sinkholes threatening florida neighborhoods. how close are some communities close to vanishing altogether? a look inside sinkhole alley. >> living with another animal, whether it's a husband or a dog, it's great. >> academy award winning actor says he does not have strong feelings about same-sex marriage, but this interview is raising eyebrows or drawing risky parallels. this day calls you. to fight chronic osteoarthritis pain. to fight chronic low back pain. to take action. to take the next step. today, you will know you did something for your pain. cymbalta can help. cymbalta is a pain reliever fda-approved to manage chronic musculoskeletal pain. one non-narcotic pill a day, every day, can help reduce this pain. tell your doctor right away if your mood worsens, you have unusual changes in mood or behavior or thoughts of suicide. anti-depressants can increase these in children, teens, and young adults. cymbalta is not for children under 18. people taking maois, linezolid or thioridazine or with uncontrolled glaucoma should not take cymbalta. taking it with nsaid pain relievers, aspirin, or blood thinners may increase bleeding risk. severe liver problems, some fatal, were reported. signs include abdominal pain and yellowing skin or eyes. tell your doctor about all your medicines, including those for migraine and while on cymbalta, call right away if you have high fever, confusion and stiff muscles or serious allergic skin reactions like blisters, peeling rash, hives, or mouth sores to address possible life-threatening conditions. talk about your alcohol use, liver disease and before you reduce or stop cymbalta. dizziness or fainting may occur upon standing. take the next step. talk to your doctor. cymbalta can help. i'll just press this, and you'll save on both.
