Welcome to the lead. Im john berman in for jake today. Our politics lead is this the week that it happens. Is this the week donald trump gets stopped, or is this the week the establishment starts paying rent in trump tower . Were down to the final five in the president ial race. They will all be on cnn in just a few short hours. This is their final chance to lasso more votes before western tuesday, arizona, utah and idaho for the democrats, all voting tomorrow. But even if cruz wins somewhere tomorrow could it be too late . Too late because donald trump is already planting his flag in washington, d. C. And at least a few are rallying around it. Today he held a muchhyped meeting there with senators plural congressmen, plural even former house speakers almost plural. If you count bob livingston. That was the best beltway joke ever. Dana bash is in washington. Dana do we know what happened at this meeting . Who specifically was there and what they told donald trump . Reporter well it was a combination of a bunch of people definitely in the establishment. Republicans coming out of the meeting said that it was interactive, meaning there was a lot of back and forth. At one point donald trump was pressed about what kind of Supreme Court nominee he would appoint. Of course his answer was conservative. But it was just one of several stops today, including where hes going to be behind me here at aipac later tonight, in d. C. The belly of the beast. Donald trump predicted something many others doubt, that he will win the nomination outright. I think were going to maybe easily make that number of the 1237. We should make it pretty easily based on what im seeing. So we wont have to worry about fighting at a convention. Reporter the unlikely frontrunner trying to make Washington Republicans more comfortable with him as their nominee. If people want to be smart, they should embrace this movement. If they dont want to be smart, they should do what theyre doing now and the republicans are going to go down to a massive loss. Reporter before meeting in public with reporters, the antiwashington candidate went behind closed doors with washington power brokers, a group of about two dozen members of Congress Lobbyists and Establishment Republicans. A meeting organized by the lone gop senator to endorse trump, Jeff Sessions and attended by a handful of rank and File House Republicans considering Backing Trump and others who already do. You watch whats happening across the country, watch what the voters are saying and in my district in tennessee, 48 went trump. So its pretty easy to listen to people that you represent. Its obvious that mr. Trump will be our nominee. We need to take the fight to Hillary Clinton. Reporter antitrump forces showed up too, handing out never trump stickers and on the lookout for republican lawmakers Backing Trump in preparation to run tv ads against them. Trumps attempt to woo the establishment he rails against will comeulminate in one of his most important speeches to date his address at aipac. Its probably the toughest negotiation of all time. Reporter trump has his work cut out for him, explaining his promise to be neutral in israelipalestinian talks, which staunch supporters of israel see as antiisrael. I would like to at least have the other side think im somewhat neutral as to them so that we can maybe get a deal done. Reporter beyond the policy Trump Supporters say the aipac venue is a critical test as whether he can come off as president ial. Especially important for team trump after a weekend of more heated images from trump rallies, including Campaign ManagerCorey Lewandowski in the middle of a tussle. Reince priebus told cnn trump staffers should not put themselves in such positions. Getting involved is not the answer. I think you leave these things up to the professionals. Reporter now, after being pressed for months and months to explain who is advising him on Foreign Policy donald trump did reveal five people. He had an Editorial Board meeting with the Washington Post. Those five people include a counterterror expert an oil and gas consultant and a former pentagon official. Now, these are substantial people certainly though not heavyweights within the Foreign Policy republican establishment. But i guess you would not expect that from donald trump since his whole m. O. Is being against the establishment right now. I should also add that Jeff Sessions again the republican senator, the only one to formally endorse donald trump, trump says that he is going to sort of lead all of these individuals on the Foreign Policy advisory group. John. Dana bash in washington for us thank you so much. Joining me now to talk about the republican race donald trump supporter, former governor of arizona, jan brewer. Governor thank you so much for being with us. You just heard dana bash report that donald trump is putting together his Foreign Policy team. It includes a lot of people cozy with big defense firms. He met with members of congress and a law lobbying firm. Is this the kind of antiestablishment activity we can expect from donald trump in washington . Well ike that we all know that hes going to have to work with those people and theyre going to have to work with him. Donald is leading and is going to win this race and that communication needs to be opened up. Im just shocked that they havent gotten on board up to this point but its going to happen. Youre shocked that they havent gotten on board. Whats your message to members of congress and folks in washington right now . Well i would like to say that the people have spoken. Our federal government has failed us miserably, and mr. Trump has been out across the country and overwhelmingly has the support of the people. They need to understand that. And they need to get on board and lets go to the convention and not fracture our party and take our country back again. In addition to meeting with members of congress today, he also went to the Washington PostEditorial Board and met with them and talked about the u. S. Role in Foreign Policy in some cases a nonrole. A nonrole in nato. Its a surprising statement to a lot of people. He said we certainly cant afford to do this anymore. Nate otherwise costing us a fortune and, yes, were protecting europe with nato but were spending a lot of money. Do you agree that the United States should dramatically scale back its role in nato . Well im not a national Foreign Policy expert. I assume that he will appoint people to help him and youre going to have to ask mr. Trump what his intentions are. He can speak for himself. Well but you are a governor and a leading figure in the republican party. If the United States does reduce its role in nato wouldnt it put those nations in Eastern Europe right now at risk . Look at what rubssia has done in ukraine. Well the bottom line is is again, i believe that mr. Trump will make the right decision. All right. Let me ask you about something that you have experienced in arizona, which is immigration right now. Donald trump, of course has famously said that he wants to build a wall along the border with mexico and he wants to have mexico pay for it. There was a rally in arizona, your home state, this weekend and you spoke about Donald Trumps plans along the border. Let me play you a brief bit of sound from that event. He is going to the fence. You can see someone telling you say wall say wall. Does it matter in your mind if it is a fence or wall along the southern border . Well i believe people would prefer a wall. I always refer to it as a fence but we certainly need our borders secured. If hes going to build the wall im 100 behind him. The bottom line is we know that illegal immigration has really changed the landscape of america and we have been the subject of all the ruthlessness that comes across from the drug cartels affecting our lives, the crime thats been committed, the drop houses the sex trafficking, the extortion, and we need a secure border. You know john ive always said a country without borders is like a house without walls. It simply collapses. And because the federal government hasnt responded to the states we are in the dilemma that we are in today, and we have a lot of issues out there that certainly need to be addressed. But until the border is secured, a lot of those issues arent going to be resolved. Arizona primary tomorrow. Is it a mustwin for donald trump . Absolutely. Well deliver arizona. No doubt in my mind. Governor jan brewer well hold you to that and im sure donald trump will as well. Thank you for being with us appreciate it. Okay, thank you, john. That was governor jan brewer, donald trump supporter. Joining me now is ron hnehring, National Spokesperson for ted cruz. Thanks for being with us. Donald trump is in washington today trying to build bridges with members of congress and establish relationships there. Donald trump has the same number of endorsements in the senate from sitting senators as ted cruz does he has one, unless you count Lindsey Graham who is reluctantly backing ted cruz. So i guess my question is does ted cruz need to do the same type of washington outreach that were now seeing from donald trump . Well i dont think that this race is going to be determined inside of the 202 area code whatsoever. I think instead whats going to happen is go ahead, were just hearing some background noise of rallies earlier today. Go ahead, ron. This race is not going to be won inside of the 202 area code or in the halls. United states senate. This race is going to be won and lost out in the states like arizona and utah that are voting tomorrow. Utah governor herbert today just skburs endorsed senator cruz. It comes on top of the support of the Lieutenant Governor of utah who came on board. Congressman matt salmon in the state of arizona came on board. There are plenty of people coming on board the campaign. I think youll see senator cruz tomorrow walking away with even more delegates, advancing toward the number of 1237. This race is not going to be won or lost inside the beltway. Were not impressed with the number of people donald trump pulled together for a sparsely attended meeting today. This race might not be won or lost in the primaries at the rate youre going. Youre pushing the motion that a vote for john kasich is a vote for donald trump. Mitt romney essentially makes that point today. But my question is isnt your path to the nomination essentially the same as john kasichs . It doesnt seem likely that youll get 1237 delegates so it seems youll have to go to the floor of the convention. Yeah theres really no comparison between where senator cruz is versus where john kasich is. John kasich has lost what 26 27 of the primaries and caucuses so far. Hes won in exactly one state his own, and nowhere else as opposed to senator cruz whos performed extremely well not only winning his own state of texas but other states as well. We can go down the long list. The simple fact is that john kasich has been mathematically eliminated from becoming the republican nominee. The only candidate who can defeat donald trump is ted cruz and were on our way to doing this. As this becomes a twoperson race we know the majority of republicans dont want to see donald trump as the nominee. Ron, if you dont get to 1237 does that mathematically eliminate you, the Cruz Campaign from being the nominee . Thats the same logic you just used on john kasich. Well there is the possibility for us to reach 1237. Were working hard for that. The only other candidate who can do that of course is donald trump. We think that the best thing to do is to have the Voters Decide this election at the ballot box by having our candidate, ted cruz get to 1237. Its mathematically possible that no candidate will get there. I tell you this john kasich is not going to be the republican nominee. Its either going to be donald trump, heaven forbid or ted cruz who will go on and take on Hillary Clinton in november. Quick question, do you support rule 40 which says you have to win the majority of delegates from eight states or would ted cruz support overturning or getting away with that rule . Woe hear this increasing talk coming from washington, d. C. And people throwing series around about changing the rules midstream. Plenty of candidates have waged their campaigns based upon what the rules have been set to be. They were set at the last convention. For now for people to cook up ideas to tinker with the rules in order to manipulate the outcome really isnt fair. Ron nehring, great to have you with us thank you so much. Thank you. And tonight only on cnn the final five candidates make their cases to voters in a cnn president ial primetime event starting at 8 00 eastern right here on cnn. This is ahead, of course of contests tomorrow in arizona, utah and idaho for the democrats and tomorrow we will have special coverage all day long. He is the only jewish candidate to win a president ial primary ever. So why is Bernie Sanders the only 2016 candidate not speaking to americas nauptop proisrael leaders . Thats next. Sticking with our politics lead moments from now republican president ial hopefuls will lay out their road map for the future of the u. S. Israel alliance in front of the largest proisrael lobbying group in the United States. All eyes will be on republican frontrunner donald trump after he recently claimed that he would remain neutral in the israelipalestinian conflict. And as relations between israeli Prime MinisterBenjamin Netanyahu and president obama have become shall we say, chilly. Lets get right to Oren Lieberman in jerusalem. It was interesting to listen to Hillary Clinton. She hammered donald trump in her speech but also created some distance between herself and the white house. Reporter she may have been trying to create some daylight on the issue of the iran deal which is perhaps the most one of the most divisive issues for American Jews and israelis looking at the american elections. Other than that this was a crowd in which she couldnt lose here. She pitched herself as proisrael and the went right after donald trump. Hillary clinton was part proisrael part antitrump at aipac. We need steady hands, not a president who says hes neutral on monday proisrael on tuesday and who knows what on wednesday, because everything is negotiable. Reporter she hit trump on the quote thats gotten him in trouble with the proisrael crowd. Let me be sort of a neutral guy. Im going to give it a shot. It would be so great. I would be so proud if i could do that. Reporter for republicans, israel has been a big topic. On israel donald has said he wants to be neutral. Theres nobody on this stage thats more proisrael than i am. Reporter youd be forgiven for thinking the candidates were running for office in israel. The republicans trying to oneup each other on who will keep israel safe. Trump has gotten most of the headlines in israel. My name is donald trump and im a big fan of israel. Reporter playing up his stance on israel and highlighting an ad he made for netanyahus reelection in 2013. And yet his comments on registering muslims in the u. S. And a salute to trump at an orlando rally, that all frightens some israelis. The entire world and israelis are looking astounded and astonished at this phenomenon called donald trump. Reporter despite the emphasis on israel the latest poll shows israelis favor clinton. A carryover from israelis fondness for bill clinton. We hear trump and cruz and rubio and kasich arguing about who is the most proisrael and yet israelis prefer Hillary Clinton. Why is that . I think its a recognition and familiarity thing. Shes a household name in this country. I think everyone remembers her husband, bill clinton, when he was president. Reporter republicans, of course are up next and it will be interesting as it always is to hear what donald trump says on israel. The aipac crowd i suspect will not be very for giving if he waffles here. I suspect trump will be front page news in israel tomorrow morning with whatever it is that he says. They will be listening very closely inside that hall and where you are for sure. Thank you so much. Only one president ial candidate did not make the trek to washington to speak to aipac today. Bernie sanders stayed out west to campaign ahead of tomorrows voting there. Jeff zeleny is live in phoenix where Hillary Clinton will speak shortly. How unusual was it for Bernie Sanders to skip aipac . Reporter its pretty unusual, particularly because hes the only one of the five remaining candidates to do so but its not all that unusual given the fact that his politics are so progressive. The politics of this organization have moved to the right every year weve seen these events and covered these events. So quite simply for Bernie Sanders, his advisers tell me that it was smarter politically for him just to talk to the voters out here in the west in those key primaries tomorrow. He addressed some 7,000 people in boise, idaho, so that at least in the short term will do him more good. He is going to be giving a policy speech a Foreign Policy address in an hours time in Salt Lake City. The same speech will be handed out to members of aipac. He volunteered to give a speech by video, but the organizers of this event said they were not accepting video speeches. He either had to come in person or not give a speech at all. So jeff talk to me about the states voting tomorrow for the democrats, arizona, utah and idaho. Whats the outlook and whats each campaign hoping for . Reporter well john it is the western sort of collection, the trio of primaries here. We are here in arizona where Bernie Sanders has been campaigning hard. Hell be having an event here tonight. He has been having thousands and thousands attend some of these rallies in idaho, in utah. He had 14,000 people in Salt Lake City utah on friday and throughout the weekend thousands as well. There are still so many progressive democrats who are not ready for this race to be over. John mathematically so difficult for Bernie Sanders, but politically speaking the democrats are not ready for this race to end. Its why Hillary Clinton is fighting hard as well. Bill clinton has been campaigning in all of these states in fact more than Bernie Sanders has been. We might be hearing from Hillary Clinton here just in a couple of hours or so in phoenix. These states are important for her but even more important for Bernie Sanders if he wants to put even more wins on the board. John. All right, jeff zeleny for us in phoenix, thanks so much. Donald trumps speech to the top proisrael group just a few minutes away. Can he prove that he has the temperament, tone and knowledge to handle complicated Foreign Policy issues like the u. S. Relationship with israel . Then an urgent manhunt under way for another terror suspect after the capture of the only surviving paris attacker who was apparently rearming regrouping and planning to strike again. With my moderate to severe ulcerative colitis, the possibility of a flare was almost always on my mind. Thinking about what to avoid where to go. And how to deal with my uc. To me, that was normal. Dont start humira if you have an infection. Raise your expectations. Ask your gastroenterologist about humira. With humira, control is possible. Welcome back to the lead. The good oldfashioned twitter war is Donald Trumps weapon of choice but now senator Elizabeth Warren is slugging it out tweet for tweet with trump calling the republican frontrunner a loser and a tyrant. Sara murray is in washington and has the latest on this. Sara we did get in touch with senator Warrens Office and this is actually her, they tell us tweeting from her official verified account. Thes they say its not an aide and some pretty hardhitting stuff. How did this start . Reporter john, its another day, its another twitter war. Now we have a new player. Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren. She started off a couple of hours ago essentially saying donald trump is a loser because of some of his failed business deals, because of his attacks on women, because of bullying. Donald trump was asked about this in his press Conference Today and he said what the indian . The indian . A reference apparently to back when Elizabeth Warren wrote that she was native american on some old paperwork on harvard. If he thought that was going to stop elizabeth werent on twitter, think again. She resumed her attacks as soon as that press conference was wrapping up. She said why is it that real donald trump can call himself the unity candidate while basing his campaign on racism sexism xenophobia and hatred . If you look at her most recent tweet here pretty harsh stuff. We cannot elect wannabe tyrants to the white house, not now, in and out ever. Its up to all of us to stop real donald trump. Elizabeth warren flirted as to whether she should get into this president ial race or not. Maybe this twitter spree is her having second thoughts or maybe shes just personally offended by whats going on with donald trump lately. But you see there shes really trying to stick it to him on twitter today, john. It really is interesting, sara because we are starting to see more democrats publicly go after donald trump, not waiting for a general election. Youre seeing leaks to the Washington Post and the New York Times saying this is the democratic plan to take on trump. I wonder if this Elizabeth Warren salvo is part of that . Reporter well john, i think part of the realization that democrats have had in watching this is of course theres still a lot of republican belief that theyll be able to stop donald trump, but democrats look at how republicans handled him, waiting so long to attack him, waiting so long to define him. When i talk to them they do not want to repeat the same mistake republicans make and i think thats why youre starting to see some of these opening shots coming from the dems. Sara murray for us in urkt wa thank you so much. I want to bring in our panel, ana navarro, Margaret Hoover and former Communications Director for senator Ted Cruz Amanda carpenter. Amanda lets start with the Elizabeth Warren thing. What does donald trump get for engaging in this feud with Elizabeth Warren . And what does she get . Well, he gets to pick another fight with someone whos in office. But i do think its very interesting for Elizabeth Warren. She is someone whos considered a hero among the progressive base. Although when she went to washington she never really challenged democratic leadership. She would famously run away from reporters and was very tight lipped. It seems that someone has given her a pass to speak out against donald trump. I dont think she would be doing this without sanction from other democratic officials. I would expect to see her become more of an attack dog against donald trump, probably doing some of the work that Hillary Clinton may not want to do. Hillary clinton could go get these very professional speeches at aipac, stay above the fray. Meanwhile i would expect more people like Elizabeth Warren to come out, direct lowly engage trump and let Hillary Clinton sail high above it. Margaret youre making gesticulations like you want in on this. Well theres this question about what happens to Bernie Sanders voters. Is there not some overlap, some consultants argue, between Bernie Sanders voters and Elizabeth Warren. But donald trump voters. And might she thought be sending a very clear signal to these White Working Class populous voters that donald trump is not going to be their guy. If they are sanders voters and warren voters they are not trump voters. And that would be part of the move to take on donald trump now and not waiting. Go ahead, ana. Let me tell you, i agree with both margaret and amanda but i just think we might be overthinking it. Maybe she just wants in on the game. Shes been on the sidelines for the last several months. Lets remember that she used to be the leader of the Progressive Movement for the democrats. Today that man, that person is Bernie Sanders. She has played a very small, if any, role at all in the president ial elections. She hasnt endorsed and i think we could all agree that today that mantle of the Progressive Movement belongs to Bernie Sanders. I think she might be having a little twitter envy a little and a spat from donald trump is manna from heaven for Elizabeth Warren. It gets her name out there. We are talking about her for the first time in months. It is good for him, it is good for her. This is a great scenario for both of them frankly. Its good for twitter on its tenth birthday. I just dont feel Elizabeth Warren is someone who does things very impulsively. She has a massive following among the Democratic Base but largely for like speeches shes given, youtube things that people go and watch. Shes not a big go out and speak in front of a rally and get them ginned up. She thinks about things very carefully before engaging so i think this was something that was probably coordinated with other folks. Theres a lot going on today. Im not saying it was impulsive, im just saying it was good for them. Oh, for sure. Theres a lot besides a twitter war between Elizabeth Warren and donald trump. Theres a lot else going on today. Donald trump speaking to aipac, donald trump meeting with members of Congress Shall we say, and lobbyists and former speakers of the house or one speaker of the house in washington, d. C. Margaret is this donald trump, you know again, trying to turn the page trying to now move on to the general election . Look i think certainly its an attempt to although you could see in the press conference when he was asked who he met with he couldnt even say. He said well get you a list. So i dont know how much of a personal overture this is of him to elected leaders. Hes in washington hes going to give a speech and he is making a gesture towards working with congress. Notice, the people that we suspect were there are all people at least the people who came out and said they met with him, people whose districts went 47 , 50 with trump. So frankly to garner themselves against their own districts more than donald trump reaching out to them. It was almost all members from congress who supported him. Although tom cotton is romaining romaining remaining neutral. Bob livingston former almost speaker of the house was there. He is supporting donald trump. Also Newt Gingrich who has said nice things about donald trump but isnt out and out supporting him. Ana, do you think its significant, that roster of folks there . Well if you take a look at the roster of folks that you just mentioned, theres a hell of a lot of formers on that list. I think a lot of those formers are now in the private sector are lobbyists and probably trying to figure out how theyre going to continue making a dime with donald trump as a possible nominee or a possible president. I think that you know it gives them a role. I was surprised at how small the group was that was invited reportedly the names that have been reported. I would have expected that he would have garnered much more interest. But i think hes still somewhat toxic for a lot of republicans. Theres a lot of republicans who cant be in the room with donald trump because i can tell you that where i am it would probably mean that congressman carlos corbello would lose his district if he was, lose the election in his district if he is. Lets talk about the aipac speech. This will be a different speech than weve seen. Were told that hes going to use a teleprompter. Hes had help with Jeff Sessions and some others preparing this speech. How carefully do you think folks will be watching this to see if there are signs that he is approaching Foreign Policy differently . Well, this is a very sophisticated audience. They are used to hearing Foreign Policy leaders. They are used to hearing very informed highlevel speeches from highranking officials. And i think theres going to be a contrast that theyre looking for between how Hillary Clinton spoke and how donald trump speaks tonight. Listen they have two of each partys frontrunners speaking to them today. Theyre going to be comparing and contrasting. Hillary clinton gave a very substantive speech. She touched all of the right issues talking about her experience working on the iran deal talking about these historical things that are important to their community. It was a really good speech. Im not sure donald trump can match it. Theres things i disagreed with in hillarys speech but you cant say it wasnt thoughtful it wasnt carefully considered. If donald trump doesnt reach that level, that group is most certainly going to notice. Lets play a little bit of that speech that we actually have because its very interesting what Hillary Clinton did during that speech which you just praised, which is interesting too. Now, in a democracy were going to have differences. But what americans are hearing on the campaign trail this year is Something Else entirely. Encouraging violence playing coy with White Supremacists calling for 12 Million Immigrants tor round be rounded up and deported demanding we turn away refugees because of their religion. Margaret hoover that was an argument much of it at least, that weve heard on the Republican Primary Campaign trail and there it was just from Hillary Clinton in front of aipac. To say nothing of israelamerican friendship or policy. What donald trump has to do first and foremost is explain away his position that he would be an impartial arbiter in a negotiating middle east peace between the palestinians and israelis. Its an incredibly heavy task he has and weve never heard him speak thought fully or discernibly about Foreign Policy. Everybody will be paying attention to every single word he makes because this man has to move that not only does he have a political philosophy thats going to guide the United States but also theres a discernible philosophy thats more than just isolationism and strong mannism. And i want to ask you one last question. We had ron nehring on and he doesnt want to do away with rule 40. Basically what that means is he only thinks that ted cruz and donald trump should be possible candidates at the republican convention. Do you think that would satisfy a lot of the Establishment Republicans right now who are part of the antitrump movement if there are only two choices were cruz or trump . I think as long as as a cardcarrying member of the establishment, i think at least as there is some alternative to trump, a lot of us will bow happy. Satisfied may be a bridge too far to cross. Look john the trump folk trump and his folk are arguing that we must that if they dont if theyre not awarded the nomination if he gets close to 1237 then thats going to lead to disruption. Well that is changing the rules. The rules as they stand right now are that there could be a brokered convention. Frankly, there may be nobody that gets to 1237 before then if it is a brokered convention. And until and unless somebody does whether it is Ted Cruz John kasich or donald trump, in ten ballots or five ballots or 500 ballots if we have to stay there for three months without food and water, thats when we will have a nominee. It is not a random number. It is a majority plus one. 500 ballots. You heard it right here from ana navarro. By the way, it would be great for ratings. My kids gotta go to college. Thank you so much. Tonight on cnn the final five candidates make their cases to the voters in a cnn president ial primetime event. It starts at 8 00 eastern right here on cnn. Youre looking at live pictures of president obama who is in havana right now. A discussion with u. S. And cuban business leaders. Hes wrapping up a panel at a brewery along havanas waterfront. Before that president obama had a message for the people of cuba which is still under communist rule. The president held a joint address with raul castro a joint News Conference that was fascinating. It was showed on air waves controlled by the cuban government and followed elaborate welcome ceremonies as president obama became the first u. S. Leader to visit cuba in almost 90 years. Not everyone celebrating this historic visit. Jim acosta traveling with the president joins us live from havana. Many children of the cold war era never thought they would witness this. For you, the child of cuban immigrants this has to be particularly poignant. Reporter president obama is putting his Foreign Policy doctrine to the test opening up a new chapter of engagement with cuba. An old adversary that is finally showing signs of progress, even if all of our questions are not answered. Its a sign that decadesold enemies can one day change their tune. Thats the u. S. National anthem being played on cuban soil. As president obama joined the islands ruler, raul castro in havana to close out this final chapter of the cold war. While there were the usual diplomatic gestures as mr. Obama signed a book the president also delivered a tough message to the cubans to begin respecting basic human freedoms. That cubas destiny will not be decided boyy the United States or any other nation. Reporter castro had its own set of grooechxievance, at the top the u. S. Embargo but he did not answer why his country has Political Prisoners. Why do you have Political Prisoners. Translator give me a list and i will release them immediately. Reporter the president is going around congress to weaken the embargo, loosening travel restrictions on americans who want to see the island and bringing with him big Hotel Company ceos who want to turn cuban mojitos into money. Just hours before president obama set foot in cuba there was a vivid reminder that changes wont come quickly, as local authorities rounded up a group of protesters known as the ladies in white. Topping our world lead an International Manhunt under way for another suspect believed to be involved in the paris terror attacks. This comes as we are getting new details about what led to the capture of Salah Abdeslam the soul surviving paris attacker. He was captured by belgian Antiterror Police on friday. The 26yearold who had been on the run four months was planning future attacks, that is according to belgian authorities, and may already have had the manpower and the fire power to do it. Lets get right to cnns Senior International correspondent live in brussels for us. What are your sources telling you about the manhunt and how authorities tracked down abdeslam . Reporter well it now appears that it was two extraordinary instances of happenstance that brought about the full of Salah Abdeslam after weeks and months. First there was that firefight unexpected as far as belgian authorities were concerned at that first location last week with abdeslam managed to escape. The trail then we understand went cold. It was only when abdeslam and an accomplice contacted a man already counterterrorism officials tell us already under their surveillance net that they became aware that he was hiding in molenbeek, just a street away from his childhood home. Were also learning new details about what they found in that first address and it is incredibly disturbing. Authorities say that in addition to a large cache of weapons, there were also detonators at that address which gives credence to the working theory that theyre trying to close in on that there was another attack, new attacks, that this new network that abdeslam had formed around himself during his weeks and months on the run that were planning assaults here in belgium, john. And how are european governments right now responding to these heightened threats . Reporter thats a very good question. France has already deployed on its border and interpol is warning other European Countries to remain very very vigilant. As the belgian foreign minister was saying just yesterday, john they believe that this new network isnt just limited to here in belgium, they believe theres a possibility that fighters from syria could be on their way to here in europe and their worry is that the capture of abdeslam and the fears that his network could have about what he could be telling authorities could possibly be pushing the fast forward button on a lot of these plans. So Authorities Say that the threat level here its currently at three. The second highest. But they are reappraiseing it constantly john. A lot has gone on over last 72 hours. Thank you so much.
