The World Health Organization and Egyptian Health officials have 12 new cases of coronavirus aboard a nile cruise boat. Officials say those are egyptian staffers on board the vessel. And as of now, theyre not showing any symptoms but they have tested positive. And theres still more breaking news. We just learned a short time ago the white house has canceled president trumps scheduled visit to the cdc that was supposed to happen today. Were trying to figure out why. So lets begin with cnns joe johns live at the white house with that. What have you learned . Good morning, john. As you know, the white house official just put out a statement a little while ago, very brief statement, after this abrupt cancellations of the trip to the cdc. Ill read it in part. The cdc has been proactive and prepared since the very beginning, and the president does not want to interfere with the cdcs mission to protect the health and welfare of their people and the agency. But does not want to interfere doesnt necessarily add up when you really think about it. The president went to the nih, the National Institutes of health in bethesda earlier this week. Didnt, clearly, have to interfere there, but he did. Also going to nashville today to go and talk to people about the cleanup from those tornadoes that ravaged the area. Killed two dozen people. No problem interfering there. So the president apparently deciding very much at the last moment not to go to cdc. We are also told just last night by the Vice President that the president was going to sign that 8. 3 billion bill that Congress Passed to deal with coronavirus. He was going to sign that, according to pence at the cdc. Thats not going to happen. Weve been asking questions at the white house about where that bill will be signed. The president , by the way, also has a fundraiser at his maralago estate tonight. Still a lot of questions, joe. Thank you. Lutz know when you get anything. Now to the Cruise Ship Passengers off the coast of california. Theyre awaiting the results of coronavirus tests. Dan simon is live in San Francisco. Hes been covering this all morning for us. When do we expect those results, dan . Well, they should come back some time this morning pacific time. We dont have really a specific time, but some time today we are being told. Now that ship remains parked off the coast of the San Francisco coast. We dont really know whats in store for the grand princess other than the next cruise has obviously been canceled. It was supposed to leave tomorrow. Obviously, officials are still wanting to know what exactly theyre dealing with. We did see the National Guard drop those testing kits on the ship yesterday. 45 people were tested. The results coming back some time today. We do know for passengers, yesterday they were still trying to take advantage of some of the leisure activities on board until the captain rather unexpectedly Just Announced on the loud speaker that everybody needed to be confined to their rooms. Didnt really say why but said that was what the cdc was recommending. Even the meals now are coming to the rooms. Everything is now coming by room service. But one passenger texted me and she couldnt even reach room service. Just indicative of how busy the staff is. Some people approaching it as you might imagine with a sense of humor, but for others, they are clearly stressed. They just want to get some clarity on the situation. John, back to you. They want information as fast as they can, which is why they are awaiting these test results. I dont think they have any idea whats going to happen after this. Dan, appreciate you being with us. Theres another breaking angle on all of this. The World Health Organization and Egyptian Health officials confirm they have 12 new cases of coronavirus aboard a nile cruise vessel heading to the city of luxor. Nina dos santos joins us with the latest on this. What can you tell us . Good morning, john. Well, so far as you said, we know from egyptian authorities and the World Health Organization coordinating this response that it appears as though 12 members of staff, workers aboard one of these cruise ships heading along the nile towards aswain, or from aswain towards luxor, really important tourist destinations here, have tested positive for the coronavirus. Its believed the origins of this investigation may have been a taiwanese american citizen who was recently on board that cruise ship. These 12 workers who tested positive have been removed from the vessel and put into an isolation facility to try and quarantine them and contain the potential spread of this issue. The problem, obviously, for egyptian authorities is to try and make sure that we dont have a repeat of the situations that we saw with the cruise ships like the princess cruise ship in japan, the larger scale quarantine operation there ended up being a significant failure. Some of these cruise ship velss that go up and down the nile are much smaller in their dimensions so the potential for the spread of this disease is less significant among passengers. Having said that, though, there are more than there are already more than about eight countries across the middle east that are already reported cases of coronavirus to various degrees of severity. Iran being the epicenter there. Authorities will be keeping a close eye on this. Tourism is a significant Foreign Exchange revenue driver for egypt and about 8. 3 Million People visited this country in 2018. And as a result, obviously authorities want to do the best to contain this. John and alisyn . Nina dos santos, thank you for helping us with that breaking news. Joining us is chief medical correspondent dr. Sanjay gupta. Lets start with the cruise ship of 3,500 or more people off the coast of San Francisco. 45 tests were air lifted onto the ship. They are waiting for the results. Theyll get them today. What happens if some of those 45 are positive . Everybody stays on that ship . I think they learned valuable lessons from the diamond cruise ship, but i dont think that weve heard exactly what their plan is going to be. To be clear, a quarantine is for people who are presumably may have been exposed. They may be positive but theyre not confirmed to be positive. Isolation is when someone has been confirmed to be positive. They may have a situation where they have both people who are isolated and quarantined on the same ship which kind of defeats the purpose. And that sort of was proven out with the diamond. So hopefully theyll be able to bring people back and at least try to keep people who have not been infected safe. But they havent tested anyone else yet. All theyve done is tested the people who are suspected to have coronavirus. So they might be in a situation, if they test positive, you have to test 3,000 other people . I think so. I mean, and look, this is a microcosm of a larger issue for the country, frankly. At least in several communities around the country. We dont know. We have not been able to do the surveillance. Maybe on the cruise ship they will because its a smaller number overall compared to the country but, still, we are learning realtime about this. I think were going through a process that we have not really gone through before in Public Health. At least in this country. That leads us to your town hall last night. You had a really interesting town hall about this trying to answer questions. You had dr. Anthony fauci, part of the president s task force, and he made a lot of news. Let me play one portion of what he said about the testing last night. Ive been an advocate of much more proactive testing. Not only testing when physicians ask for a test, but testing to determine where we are and what level is under the radar. And for that reason, were going to need millions and millions and millions of tests. Manufacturing those millions and millions of tests now . Starting to. This is in process. But i think the idea that the tests are there and caught up with the messaging around the tests which is people can now get them go to your doctor. Your doctor can order them, you can get them. Thats not possible yet still. I get a lot of calls from my friends who say patients come to their offices and theyre told they can order the test but the test is not available. It may start to change. Lab core, one of the largest lab Testing Companies in the country, Just Announced last night that theyre going to start being able to take samples so people can do the nasal swabs, send them to lab corps. And get a response. One thing about dr. Fauci, and hes subtle in this regard, but he said ive been advocating for proactive testing for some time. Ive been talking to him about this from the start. This is one of the sort of splits, i think, a little bit between what has been asked for and what has been done. Dr. Fauci has been saying we should have broadened the testing criteria early on and made testing more widely available early on. That wasnt done. Why . I dont know. Its a curious question. Was it because we had some flawed tests in the beginning . We didnt have enough tests, therefore, the criteria was narrowed then to sort of fit what was possible . Or was it Something Else . I dont know. This has been a really tough thing to sort of nail down because youre hearing from the administration different things. Its not just the administration versus nonadministration. Within the Public Health community in the administration, there have been deep divides on this issue. And i think were starting to see the manifestations of that now. The president has canceled his scheduled visit to the cdc later today. Were not exactly clear why. The statement from the white house suggests he doesnt want to get in the way of the work of the cdc. Do you have any information on that . Ive been working our sources all morning long at the cdc. Thats what were hearing as well. Some have said this will allow us to continue our work. We want to just heads down, keep doing the work. But we dont have anything more tangible on that. I dont know if its a medical issue. Could be a messaging issue because the president s messaging on it has not been as concise as others in the administration. There will be time to talk about that. But while we have you here, i think the stuff from the town hall last night, theres a lot of talk about how there will be a lot of people who get this who are asymptomatic. This is going to spread, and its not going to be deadly or damaging for them. But you do make the point, we have to focus on the percentage of people for whom this is a great risk. Alisyn had a terrific interview with dr. Peter hota from houston saying how dangerous this can be for certain communities. I think we have now theres a lot we dont know about this. One thing thats been consistent is theres a vulnerable population out there. During the town hall, i am thinking about my parents and thinking, you know, we keep saying 80 of people are going to be just fine. I wondered what my parents are thinking. What about us . You keep saying the elderly. People with preexisting medical conditions. Its a fair point. And that nursing home in Washington State became a reservoir for this virus spreading around there to a vulnerable population. We have to be doing things where places are that we know these vulnerable populations live. Some of that is starting to happen. Theres an increased regulation around nursing homes. If you try to visit someone at an extended care facility, you may be screened almost like youre going into a different country to make sure youre not or try to make sure youre not carrying the virus. Its hard to do because you can be asymptomatic. Some of that is starting to change. The problem is like youre saying because of that asymptomatic spread this can really spiral. If i can, let me show you an animation real quick that will give you an idea of how fast this can move. This will compare sars, ebola okay. This animation is a little different. This is showing what the virus does once it gets into the body. Okay. Here. Were going to switch to this one. So h1n 1, mers, ebola and coronavirus. The purple line is coronavirus. Its flat. About the nineweek mark it starts to accelerate and there it surpasses h1n1 at this point over here. Thats a projection. Thats what really is happening . Thats whats happening. Watch what happens to h1n1 because of how contagious that was. And this is by the one year mark. H1n1 in this country had been exposed, infected 60 Million People. Are you suggesting, sanjay, that if coronavirus is already spreading faster than h1n1, we should be concerned its going to spread even more . I think we have to. We have projections and modeling. Weve seen something that, you know, was around the same level of contagiousness as coronavirus can do. And we dont van idea. We keep saying whatever few thousand people, maybe 1500 tests have been performed by the cdc. Look at those numbers and well give you an estimate of what this could look like at the end of the year. As weve talked about on this show all along, its not all bad news in the sense that many of those people were did not even know they were sick. Did not know they needed to be tested and were overall pretty healthy. We have to focus on these vulab vulable populations. Dr. Sanjay gupta, thank you. Senator Elizabeth Warren is out of the 2020 race, but shes in a powerful position to influence the campaign, if she decides to endorse either senator Bernie Sanders or Vice President joe biden. Joining us now, the best looking panel in morning television. Bakari sellers, former South Carolina house member, and chris cillizza, cnn politics reporter and editor at large. 85 bakari, 15 i believe in you, though. Why dont you think Elizabeth Warren has endorsed yet. What does it tell you that she hasnt . She has an insane amount of leverage. I dont she will endorse. She plays this role in the party of unifier. Her relationships with Bernie Sanders is a bit frosty. And after this past super tuesday and possibly next super tuesday, if Bernie Sanders is still lagging behind, why would you endorse someone that doesnt have a path to the nomination . But speaking of which, her relationship with joe biden is even frostier. It goes way back to credit card and bankruptcy bills. It goes they have an extensive history together of being antagonistic towards each other. If she comes out and endorses somebody like joe biden, she can play the role everybody thought she was going to play with Hillary Clinton which means having a role and an impact with who you appoint. Who gets what position in the cabinet. Being somewhat of a queenmaker, which she put herself in a position to do. Just tell me more about that insane amount of leverage. Why is she so powerful right now . Because she came into the race as a known commodity and a wellliked commodity. And she leaves the race as something similar. Again, if she was the most powerful figure in the democratic party, she wouldnt have gotten out of the race. But at the same time, i think bakari is right. Its important to note that whereas like a pete buttigieg, 38yearold guy, gets in for biden right away. Maybe theres something for him in the cabinet. Same with amy klobuchar. She also wants to preserve herself. But Elizabeth Warren came in with a power base. Maybe she runs for president again. Maybe she doesnt. She doesnt need to endorse anyone in order to maintain a status both within the party and nationally. She had it before. Shell have it after. Yes, its not the same thing as being president of the united states. But she has an elevation a lot of the other ones dont have. Lets look at whats at stake next tuesday. I dont know if were calling this a super tuesday or tuesday super tuesday 2. Great minds. Bigger tuesdays. Stt. As you look at this map, a lot of people are looking at michigan as a pivot point in this campaign. You say Elizabeth Warren is waiting to decide whether she endorses. She may be looking at michigan to see what happens there. Bernie sanders won michigan in 2016. How important is it this time . Actually, i think on that map, michigan is important, but mississippi may be more important. I think i dont want to correct you, but i think michigan is important because we know whats going to happen in mississippi whereas joe biden is going to stretch out thats the thing. The question i have is, does Bernie Sanders even reach viability in mississippi . Because if the numbers are close in michigan, and nobody is going to run away with michigan. If joe biden wins by five points or Bernie Sanders wins it by five points, the delegate share is going to be narrow coming out. If Bernie Sanders doesnt reach viability if he doesnt reach 15 in mississippi, thats a huge haul. All the delegates from that state go directly to joe biden. So its going to be an interesting day next week and missouri is also very important because we want to see who can play in these states that either are swing states or used to be swing states. And gretchen whitmayer and jennifer granholm. I dont know if you were there for the breaking news. When she endorsed. They are putting together this coalition. The establishment thats going to be hard to overcome. Just one thing about michigan. I think bakari is right. How did barack obama beat Hillary Clinton . It wasnt necessarily in really close. It was in a lot of places in the february 2008 where he runs up on her so she gets a delegate he gets a delegate lead she cant overcome. Remember michigan in 2016. It was, in many ways, being portrayed as this one is. Big battleground. Everyone thought hillary was going to win. Bernie ekes it out. Not that he made up enough delegates but he certainlily buys himself another three plus months, two months of the race and runs through june. That may be more than the delegate numbers. That may be whats at stake here. I think if joe biden wins, even if its 4948, the pressure on Bernie Sanders. Bernie sanders is more immune to pressure from the party than most because hes not going to have a lot of Party Support but if he does not win there, the path symbolically gets difficult. Chris is actually he hit the nail on the head right there. Michigan is the wind beneath Bernie Sanders wings. If he goes in and does like did i ever tell you, youre my hero . I thought bakari was going to sing that. We should go out with that. So, no, i think it is the wind beneath his wings. If he gets beat in michigan with blue collar workers, the labor there, which is the essence of who Bernie Sanders is, then its going to be very difficult as you go forward. For super tuesday three which is coming st. Patricks day tuesday. Ive got names for all of them. Well be here. Sequel. Thats so great. You can fly higher than an eagle. You are the wind beneath my bakari and i do a little singing on the sides. Versatile. Thats in the fifth hour. Well see. Dont give them any suggestions. I dont know if well be invited back, chris. Former president bill clinton and Hillary Clinton opening up about the president s affair with Monica Lewinsky and other delegate topics in this revealing new interviews, interviews plural. Take a look. I cant believe this. I cant believe you lied. It just, anyway, was horrible. And i said, if this is going to be public, you have got to go tell chelsea. She said, well, you have to go tell your daughter. She said thats worse. So i did that, which was awful. That is a clip from a fourpart documentary called hillary which is streaming on hulu. Great to have you here. Ive said youre making quite a splash with this. Tell us how this happened. How did you get them to agree, not only to this sitdown interview, but to open up about something so sensitive and personal . Well, this is the first time that secretary clinton is not running for office in almost her entire adult life. She became first lady of arkansas in her early 30s. Suddenly she is not being judged, she doesnt have to worry about something being taken out of context in a way that has been done to her, as you can see watching the series, throughout her entire life. So i think she was ready. Iing she was ready to open up. Did you have to prod . Sometimes going into these things, there are rules about things they dont want to talk about and things they wont touch. How did you broach the subject that was so personal to them . You know, i didnt have to share any questions with her beforehand. She didnt say to me, okay, you cant talk about this or that. I did lay out my whole vision for it before we ever did any interviews. And what was that pitch . The pitch is being very frank. That i really wanted to unpack the intimacy of her life in the context of why she is such a polarizing figure. And when you look at the arc of her life, you also see the arc of the womens movement. The arc of our partisan politics and why weve become such a divided country. And i think her seeing that it was through the lens of these themes that she cared deeply about made her made it a lot more appealing. Ive also never heard, i dont know if anyone has, bill clinton talking so candidly about what was happening behind the scenes and how painful it was to have to go tell chelsea. Theyve never spoken about it. Particularly him. Hes never done an interview about it. What was that like . What was that interview like . He was incredibly candid and emotional. And it was, you know, intimidating for me to sit across from a former president and ask him about the biggest mistake he ever made in his life and how he handled that on an intimate, personal level with his marriage and his child. And at one point i asked him why did you take this risk . Why would you risk your presidency, your marriage, your relationship with your child . And he gave the most poignant, fascinating answer. Okay. Lets hear that. I think we have that clip. Take a listen. Nobody sits down and thinks, ill take a really irresponsible risk. Its bad for my family. Bad for my country. Bad for the people who work with me. Thats not what happened. Everybodys life has pressures and disappointments and terrors, fears of whatever. Things i did to manage my anxieties for years, its not a defense. Its an explanation. It was awful. I feel terrible about the theres so much there. I mean, hes talking about terrors, fears, anxieties. And thats an explanation for what he did. Did you come around to understand what he meant by all of that . Well, i think, you know, he starts by saying its not like you wake up one morning and say, i want to risk my whole life. When we make bad decisions its because we have pain and want to distract ourselves from the stress and pain of our lives. That can be applicable to Drinking Alcohol or, you know, any kind of problem that we have. He also talked in a different way than weve ever heard about the impact on Monica Lewinsky so lets take a listen to that. I feel terrible about the fact that Monica Lewinskys life was defined by it. Unfairly, i think. Over the years, ive watched her trying to get a normal life back again. But youve got to decide how to define normal. Thats insightful. I think that she has said that she felt that he hasnt taken ownership or apologized, but that was, i dont know, just a little more sensitive than weve heard him speak before. To me, he is apologizing. Hes saying, i feel terrible about what happened to her life. But i do find it even more insightful that he recognizes when Something Like this happens to someone, its so hard to ever come back from that. I mean, she has been defined by this. And so in this one sound bite he sums up her biggest struggle shes had as a result of his behavior. Obviously, a lot of stuff, other stuff that Hillary Clinton says in this also has gotten a lot of attention. She was quite candid about Bernie Sanders, and she basically said nobody likes him, and have you been surprised or was she surprised by all the buzz that generated . You know, i was surprised. Its not that i didnt recognize it was an incendiary statement the way she says it, but of all the four hours, i didnt think it would get nearly the attention it did. But i also at the time she said it, and we were making it, he wasnt the leading president ial candidate. We werent even in the midst of the primary yet. That helps explain more about why she would Say Something that is that incendiary. Im not sure if she has she hasnt walked away from her statements, though. No, she hasnt. How long did she give you for these interviews . How much access and time did you have . She gave me a lot of time for these interviews. We did the interviews over seven days total, which is an extraordinary amount of time. A full day of you know, we would start around 11 00 a. M. And finish around 4 00 with some breaks for lunch. So you had about 35 hours of interviewing her . Yes, i did. What surprised you . What did you take away from this access that you got with her . Well, i was surprised that, not only the amount of time that she gave me but how candid she was. The range of emotions she went through in retelling her life story. How patient she was with me with my giant book of questions where i was relentlessly asking her. But i had no idea what she would be like as an interview subject. Ive seen her on shows like this all the time and thats a very different situation because shes running as a candidate or you have an agenda to get out about the news of the day. And this was different. Shes never done it. Shes never sat down to do a documentary interview about herself. One of the things you asked her, this is sort of a kicker, but about the saturday night live and the depiction of her. And then she played along with it at some point. Lets listen to that moment. I have to say, this is a little surreal. Yeah, for me, too. But im going to push through it. You know, you do me better than i do me. All anyone wants to talk about is donald trump. Donald trump . Is he the one thats like, ugh, youre all losers. [ laughter ] they seem to be enjoying themselves there. The two hillarys. What did she tell you about agreeing to that or the experience . Well, i think shes open to doing a lot of different comedy shows when shes running for president. I mean, i actually saw her do behind the scenes of quite a few of them, and shes a regular on late night. And shes been watching people do impersonations of her of various different actactresses. Our chief Business CorrespondentChristine Romans joins us with the numbers. Remember, this, though, predates the coronavirus fears in the u. S. This is the Rearview Mirror before coronavirus and Corporate America grapple with what to do with it. In the Rearview Mirror, a really strong labor market. The strongest jobs gains in more than a year and a half. 273,000 net new jobs in february. January, revised higher. December, revised higher. And the Unemployment Rate back down at 3. 5 . That is a 50year low. Where are we seeing the hiring . Heavy, heavy hiring across the spectrum. Health care. Every month we tell you all the jobs being hired there. Food services. Bars and restaurants really picking up a lot of jobs in those last three months. The end of last year, beginning of this year. And construction. February was unseasonably warm. So when you look at construction, any kind of outdoor job, those people were working in february making money in february at a time of year that usually you see a little bit of a lull. I want to go back to this because this shows you, honestly, that this was a very strong labor market. 11 years into an economic expansion. This is before the coronavirus. And one of the concerns about these jobs we see added in bars and restaurants and hotels. Travel and leisure. A lot of those be jobs that dont have guaranteed paid sick leave. So if you get in a situation moving forward where you have to ask people to stay home if they feel sick or if theres a virus crisis in this country, they are the least likely to actually stay home which can prolong the crisis. Thats something for policymakers to be considering as we move forward from a great jobs picture into uncertainty in march and obviously april. Really stunning the economy was so strong in february yet last week a halfpoint cut in the Interest Rate just shows you how fast things change, romans. It really is remarkable. And ill also tell you, wages at 3 . I would have thought after all these months and months of very strong jobs gains maybe youd have fatter paychecks. Havent seen that exactly yet. And again, its the uncertainty going forward. We dont know whats going to happen. The travel industry is really rocked by this. Well be watching the jobs there very closely going forward. Christine romans, thank you very much for that breaking economy news. Meanwhile, Meghan Markle making her first visit to the uk sair since announcing she and prince harry would be leaving royal life. They were met with cheers and at least one loud boo. There it was. They were there to, you know, brave the rain and attend an awards ceremony for injured service personnel. Max foster is live in london with more. How did this visit go, max . What would normally be a very usual engagement and a huge amount of attention from fans mainly but also some detractors as well. The reason that so much attention on this is because its the first time weve seen the duchess since she announced she was leaving royal duties back in january. This is also their final hoorah as working royals. A few engagements really in the next few days which will mark the end of their royal lives. There was something extraordinary that came out of last night, though. And that was this image of the couple arriving in the rain taken by a photographer. A brilliant image. Its gone viral in this country. And a lot of the fans of the sussexs very much attaching themselves to this because it really shows how the couple are in defiance. Theyre happy. Theyre pleased that they made the right decision. A lot of people as well saying, you know, they got their Christmas Card for this year as well with that image. What were looking to next is monday where the coup gel to Westminster Abbey for Commonwealth Day service. The entire royal family will be out and the photographers will certainly be out looking for images, closeup images trying to see if theres any body language there to be picking up on. Max, theres this new episode of the cnn original series the windsors that will air this sunday. This week were introduced to princess diana. So are there as many similarities as people think between how meghan and how diana adjusted to royal life or didnt . Well, certainly theres lots of the same language coming from meghan that came from diana. How she wasnt supported. Wasnt praised. Youll see that in the episode tonight. Its a really fascinating insight into how diana felt. The interesting question for viewers of the show tonight is whether or not the royal family learned anything from that diana experience because meghan feels the same way. So its an interesting parallel and things havent moved on that much, some people argue. Yes, but you know, meghan has decided to move on. Even if the royal family didnt hasnt progressed, meghan and harry certainly have. Thank you, max, very much. We appreciate that. President trump continues to give mixed messages about coronavirus. He has admitted hes relying on hunches. How can that be the basis for a Public Health crisis . John avlon has the answers in our reality check. Theres a lot of fear and confusion about the coronavirus epidemic. And while scientists work around the clock to stop the spread, the president hasnt been helping. Hes been calling it a democratic hoax as the worldwide death toll passes 3,000. 97,000 confirmed infected. Hes been keeping busy blaming the media while tapping his veep mike pence to help clean up the mess. The trump administrations greatest obstacle to sending a clear message on coronavirus may be trump himself. From his earliest comments on the outbreak, trump seemed to be in denial. Very well under control in our country. I think that whole situation will start working out. Echoing his boss larry kudlow tried to calm the markets. We have contained this. I wont say air tight but close to air tight. Sadly, no, not even a little bit. And as the outbreak escalated, trump started floating factfree hunches about the case. Looks like by april in theory, when it gets a little warmer it miraculously goes away. Hope thats true. Wishing and hoping dont make it so. Over the past few days weve seen the president try to badger drugmakers into promising a vaccine in a few months. They kept telling him it would take a year. Weve heard the president dismiss w. H. O. Estimates about the mortality rate and then say this. We have thousands or hundreds of thousands of people that get better just by, you know, sitting around and even going to work. Some of them go to work. But they get better. No, dont go to work if youre sick. All right. Its tough to work in these conditions. But to his credit, mike pence tapped the state departments global aids director dr. Debbie birx to run daytoday efforts to contain the virus. The veep seems focused on pumping up the president s ego. Thanks to the president s strong leadership. Thanks to the president s leadership, thats not going to lessen the focus of president trump. The disease has continued to spread with pence admitting we dont have enough testing kits to meet the anticipated demand. Trump resorted to his familiar goto. Blame obama. The Obama Administration made a decision on testing that turned out to be very detrimental to what were doing. You might not be shocked to learn that claim was false. But speaking of lies now the democrats are politicizing the coronavirus. They tried the impeachment hoax, and this is their new hoax. When trump said that, there were already 67 cases confirmed in the u. S. Now more than triple that number now. Some hoax. Some topics hes tweeted about more than the coronavirus. Democrats, republicans, adam schiff, nancy pelosi, fox news, mike bloomberg, Bernie Sanders and iowa. Heck, the president s even tweeted about hoaxes more than the coronavirus. Which might help explain why some of his supporters seem to be in denial. You dont believe coronavirus exists . I dont. So the two people who have been reported to have died from it in Washington State you dont trust that thats true . I dont trust anything the democrats do or say. Its a reminder the president s words have consequences. Potential pandemics dont care about politics. And its an effort to deny, deflect and project his way out of the coronavirus crise, i a president has added to the confusion and made the experts job much harder. And thats the reality check. Oh, my gosh. That sound that you just captured was incredible. We want people to know that we just learned the president will sign the funding measure to battle coronavirus before he leaves for nashville at the white house in a little bit. Heres the question. Are we ready . The white house is facing criticism this morning over a shortage of coronavirus test kits for the country. Vice president mike pence said there are not enough kits, just days after saying that any american could be tested. The president s trip to the cdc set for hours from now has now been scrapped. The white house says it does not want to interfere in the cdcs outbreak response. But we will see the president shortly. He is signing the 8 billion coronavirus bill providing funding for response.
