No question there is a tightening in this race and that Hillary Clinton has lost herr postconvention glow. Right after the convention among registered voters shes up three points and no question the glow is coming off and one of the reasons, one of the issues and i could list several. After her convention she was tied after months of being behind him on the question of who can better handle the economy and now trump has a 15point lead among registered voters. After the Convention Trump had an eightpoint lead. No question, the character question is about emails and fundraising and hurting Hillary Clinton. Which is a pretty stunning gap as you point now, 15 points. You can look at that poll and
say that would be how the popular vote goes as we have now seen in this country, it doesnt really matter, right . Its the state by state and what do you see there . We need to see if the state by state polls show anything like the new National Poll. Right now by cnn projections if the elections were today,i ieer. We have Hillary Clinton winning as of now and it takes 270 with the states that are dark blue, solid democrat and lightblue winning democrat and donald trump needs to change this map and lets watch in the next few week, but its by no means out of reach and donald trump is only down by a few points in florida. 29 electoral votes and hes down a couple of points in North Carolina and hes only down a couple of points in ohio. Say for the sake of argument there is this trump momentum starting out, and well see if it exists and if he can get North Carolina, ohio and hes in play and still needs to change something and plan a for trump and try to change pennsylvania. This is the first National Poll in a long time that has put trump on top, short a statistical margin we dont know if others will follow and this is not something that you thought would happen again. Here we are. Hes back on top. Worried . No. You never want your candidate to be behind in a poll, but lets remember a couple of things. This race was tight in july, preconvention. What really matters is the National Average of these polls, of these National Polls and shes five point ahead there. She shes, head in the average in virtually every swing state and this weighs noncollegeeducated whites and that could be wrong and hillary has said shes going to campaign as an underdog whether shes ahead or not. Thats what shes doing and the more people see of her and the more they like it and the more theyll press her and shell win the case. Trust has not been going in that direction. And kayleigh, this is the beginning of a big momentum. Just last week cnn reported that cnns poll of polls and the average of polls showed that he made up half the grounding of Hillary Clinton and that was confirmed by our independent polling today and hes ahead by two and its worth mentioning he
made up 11 points in four weeks. Hes leading 20 points among independents and thats something romney won by five points and married women, 17 points and it is not good for Hillary Clinton. This trend is definitively going. We always hear the women its just, forget about it for donald trump. When you look at married women, more than half of married women, 53 support donald trump and that is an environment where most of the coverage is donald trump and women. Why isnt she winning women across the board . This is one poll. We are just getting into the last two months of this election. For me, i would rather have the conversation of, like, lets see when he wins latino votes or black vote which is is not going to happen, but look, what shes doing is shes putting together a Democratic Coalition that helped obama win in 2008 and obama win in 2012 and he can string along his republican coalation that romney lost by

I would imagine the Trump Campaign is pretty shocked about being ahead with married women. Trump is absolutely killing it with enthusiasm. I think he has a 15point lead among enthusiastic voters. These are people that dont live in a bubble and they see what happens whats happening with Hillary Clinton and theyre being disgusted and turned off and terrorism and the economy and Foreign Policy is a big drop there. Clinton is ahead of trump by 16 poin points. 16 point ahead and we see him in virginia and North Carolina. Why is he spending so much time on Foreign Policy . Well, thats where he needs to address his campaign. He has the general with him today. When i was traveling with him last week he had senator sessions talking to him about Foreign Policy and National Security so hes trying to go there, and i talked to someone from the Clinton Campaign and they just went up. With ads in georgia and arizona exactly on the point of Foreign Policy and National Security. Theyre going after the women, the suburban moms because they believe thats the one area they can attract some women because theyre worried about Donald Trumps, you know, his character, his ability to stay focused and what shes always complaining about. Do you want his hand on the the military leader with trump, and of course, this comes after you had bipartisan groups coming out and saying that theyd never vote for trump, and indictments, but now hes got 88. Is that going to help him . I think theres no question that thats the direction that he needs to move. They like some of the things that he says they cant imagein him as the president of the United States and the thing that popped to me in your poll was trump was as high as 45 and there were people that were skeptical that he was ahead of clinton at this point as john mentioned in his report and up to this point, hes been stuck in the high 30s and 40 seemed like a ceiling. Trumps not required by law to release his taxes and instead her aides used hammers to smash the devices. Instead she was under subpoena to turn over benghazi, mails and instead of turning them over one of her aides used a process called bleach fit to bleach them from cyberspace and out of eternity and for her to make a transparency argument, it falls on deaf ears and looks a bit hypocritical. David . The reason this jihad has been waged against the Clinton Foundation is because the Clinton Foundation is
transparent and releases old donors. Id like the same transparency from donald trump on the tax returns and its not just about his net worth and Financial Issues and it goes back to the National Security issue in the last segment. Who are his Foreign Investors when he is cose we putin, we need to know that before we can trust him with our National Security. We cant vote without this information. How can you say theyve turned over their foreign donors when today a story breaks that they didnt abide by new york laws. They were fully transparent and on the email issue the fbi, you may not like the results of the fbi investigation, but its been you just changed the subject from the Clinton Foundation to emails. And so did you from the tax returns. 80 of voters say they were bothered by how she handled the emails and theyre bothed by him not releasing tax returns. Certainly, a much more overwhelming one when it comes to the emails. And theres much more overwhelming evidence about the drip, drip, drip of the emails. This has been going on a year. The tax return issue has been going on, as well, so they both face problems with Public Disclosure so we have that. However, the tax return is one thing shes been consistent on. She has been according to the Trump Campaign completely inconsistent until she fessed up. Believe me, donald trump is planning at the first debate to say that i cant recall 39 times and no spouse or child would expect that kind of answer. Trump said today on the stump that she is saying that i had 14 cell phones or 13 cell phones in four years and no other person does such a thing and doesnt know where all of them went. Theyre not all located. The Trump Campaign plans to
nail this issue. Do people think the fbi didnt do a good job in this investigation . They did a good job. They closed the case and i understand the critics who dont accept the results. Weve been doing this with Hillary Clinton for 25 years. There is still an abiding faith that theres some kind of Silver Bullet here and every time they try to find it they move the goalpost, theyre still looking so now weve got another congressional hearing coming up next week. This is all partisan and remember, republican leader told us long ago when we made up the word untrustable and unfortunately, youre seeing the results of that. When people of this network, dick cheney had a heart attack, they called on him to release his medical records which he never did. In 2008 when it was Vice President biden and both men were around the same age as secretary clinton is right now, people demanded their medical records. So i dont think this is so foreign. This is not about specifically Hillary Clinton and theres some reason why she might not do it and im not going to speculate. Im not a doctor, and its a valid question. I dont think it puts any particular question on Hillary Clinton, which frankly, i would love to see. I think they should both release binders and binders full of information about their medical history, but im not going to be able to i think it would be a terrific read. Look, i do think that in some ways the narrow focus on the tax returns as such misses the larger point that the democrats are trying to make with the tax issue that theyre not going to just be saying every day release your taxes. Theyre going to be doing a version of what harry reid did with mitt romney saying maybe he had ties to insert offensive group here and putting it on trump to deny that. I dont know if thats an entirely fair tactic. We found out after the fact in 2012 that harry reid was made up and made up. But the idea that trump has gotten away with that because of

pam bondi is a huge supporter of donald trump. The next president of the United States of America Donald trump. Reporter bondi is also the Florida Attorney general whose office decided not to pursue a case against donald trump, and the decision was made almost exactly at the same time trump made a 25,000 donation to pam bondis political pac. Ive known pam bondi for years. I have a lot of respect for her. I never spoke to her about that at all. Trump on his plane this weekend denies any connection. Pam bondi also forcefully denies any connection calling it bullying by the Clinton Campaign. I will not be Collateral Damage in a president ial campaign nor will i be a woman bullied by Hillary Clinton. So what did happen . Here are the facts. Pam bondi took office in 2011. Trump university was already out of business. Prior to her taking office, floridas attorney generals
office received 20 complaints about trump institute, a business affiliated with trump, but it, too, was out of business. Since pam bondi took office up until the decision was made, florida received just one complaint against Trump University. According to a spokesman for floridas attorney general, it wasnt enough to justify florida filing suit. Instead, staff doing Due Diligence reviewed the complaints and the new york litigation and made the proper determination that the new york litigation would provide relief to aggrieved consumers nationwide. In other words, floridians could join new yorks lawsuit. The spokesman told cnn pam bondi had nothing to do with it. The decision was made by staff. The fact the Spokesman Says pam bondi didnt even know there were complaints against trump. But around the same time the Florida AttorneyGenerals Office was deciding to not pursue a case against trump, pam bondi was pursuing donald trump
himself for a political donation. It was aept september 2013. He donated 25,000 to the committee. Did one follow the other . Pam bondi, again today on fox Business News says no. Of course, i asked donald trump for a contribution. Thats not what this is about. She was saying he was under investigation by my office at the time, and i knew about it. None of which is true. Erin, several other states also decided not to the pursue cases against Trump University even though they did have complaints on file. In this story where timing is everything, at the time this decision was made in florida, the attorney Generals Office, as i said, had one complaint against Trump University and the school itself had been shut down for nearly three years. Erin . All right, dru, thank you very much. So obviously, there are a lot of
questions here, joe. So when people look at this from the surface level they look and they say, okay, there is a big question as to whether she and donald trump talked about done eggs and he said yes, she says no. Someone is not giving an accurate rendition and this comes in at 25,000 and then they decide not to pursue this case. This is the Clinton Campaign, you know, grasping at straws to try to paint him as a pay to play person just like he is. If people are looking at a Conspiracy Theory. That said, she is one of the majority of attorneys general in the states that had gotten complaints about Trump University. She is not one. She is one of many who declined to prosecute and open up a lawsuit against Trump University. If i file a lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and guess what . The only attorney general in the entire country that is prosecuting a case and on the
state, this is grasping at straws and its convenient when we talk about today when you see a downward entire will that you presented on even indicates there was any quid pro quo. When there is there was a check and she declined to go forward. Heres the problem, he spent an entire cycle bragging about how he pays off politicians. This is what he did for his whole, entire 14 months, right . I know how the system works. They call. I give them money and two or three years down the road i have access. So when you say those things and this comes up, how could you its not a clinton thing. This is what trump did. He put it out there. So let me play because you just said he said that. He said it and you are right again and again and again with great pride. Here he is. I give to everybody. When they call i give and you what . When i need something from them, two years later, three years later, i call them and they are for me. I have to give to them. When i call, they kiss my ass. Hes exposing the system. Thats the way washington works. Hes exposing the system. Hes admitting what he himself does. This was not the case with attorney general bondi and its very important to point that out and heres what donald trump does. I am so happy the bondi story came up, actually, because when he found out there was impropriety with the Foundation Giving to what was not a nonprofit. You know what he did . He reported himself to the irs. You what he did . He paid 25,000 to remedy the wrong. Contrast that with Hillary Clinton when there are allegations against her foundation, she denies that and she doesnt disclose donors not in compliance with new york state laws and Hillary Clinton hides the truth and donald trump remedies something when he finds
out it was wrong. We know it was illegal and we know it was fined. This isnt something somebody made up. One of my groups filed the irs com paint. He selfreported and paid. Secondly, this is exactly what he accuses of clintons of. Its prima facie evidence. It looks like a criminal bribe. There was apparently a quid pro quo. Lets get to the bottom of it. Where was the quid pro quo . Where was it . He makes a donation, she doesnt investigation. You said it was. Thats the exchange. That is committing a massive fraud and paying off she changed her position. So lets talk because thats not the only one and there are other contributions to other states attorneys general. She said they discussed this contribution beforehand. Whether someone forgot or is lying, i dont know. I think his spokeswoman came out today and said he may have
discussed it with her, that theyve been friends for a long time so thats unclear at the moment and they both agreed that they never discussed Trump University. As a reporter i tried to talk to both sides on this issue today. Clearly, he violated the law and everything that he is saying about the Clinton Foundation is all about the appearance of impropriety. The Trump Campaign on the other hand says this is one tiny violation. What you have with the Clinton Foundation is a systematic pattern of impropriety and pay to play which will point out every day here on out. Well see. On either side.
