, we are getting word of the suspects of five killings in texas have not been captured. The fbi will hold the news very soon. The alleged killer was asked by neighbors to stop shooting before he turned the gun on them. A nineyearold boy and his mother or among those who were senses the kilt. The suspect is an undocumented immigrant who have been deported four times over the last decade, so we will get the News Conference to you as soon as it happens just a short time for now but that is where cnns at 11 there is in texas right now. It, what do we know about this arrest . We know that town of cut and shoot texas, which is about 10 to 11 miles north of where we are here in cleveland area texas, which is about an hours drive north of houston. In the four days that Francisco Oropeza has been on the run from Law Enforcement, he has not traveled a great distance. I think what we have seen over the last couple of days with patrols in the area, theres always this inclination, this thinking that the suspect, perhaps, did not travel very far from the area, even though fbi officials were saying earlier today that they have been following every possible lead and connecting with Law Enforcement contacts here in the state and across the country, even across the border because the suspect is a mexican national. That concern as always been that he has figured out some way of getting back South Of The Border to escape the pursuit of him here in the cleveland, texas area, but that appears to not be the case. I could tell you that ive been able to speak with two different Family Members of the victims that were killed and the friday night attack. Jefferson rivera, the longtime partner of one of the victims simply said in a quick phone call, as you can imagine, it was rather chaotic, for the family here in the last 30 minutes or so, as theyve been trying to process the news. He simply said that we are so happy. We also spoke to the brother law of garcia, have you seen in our coverage the last few days, he said they are still trying to figure out the Family Members, there is actually a video at the arrest, and they were looking at this video closely, trying to compare and see the tattoos on the suspect that they knew that he had. Theyre trying to figure out if this indeed is the suspect that they were looking for. Everything they said, all the tattoos they knew he had match so they seem very confident that this was indeed the suspect that was behind this brutal attack last friday night. What is also interesting in kind of speaks to the catholic situation of how quickly the news has unfolded here this afternoon is that none of the Family Members have spoken with say that they have a contacted. That communication from the families, the families of the victims, has not, from what i gathered so far, has not happened quickly. Clearly, you get a sense of relief from fellow members who have been doing with this ordeal for days. A sense of relief for the family and also for the people in the surrounding area, as the suspect was considered armed and dangerous. Ed, thank you very much. We will bring you that Press Conference as soon as it happens. Tonight, President Biden surt could result in economic catastrophe, and the others that may result in a massive surge at the border. The president ordering the department of 15 active duty troops to assist u. S. Border agents that are trying to manage a crisis that is likely to only worsen in the coming weeks. Approximately 2000 National Guard members, they are already there. The pentagon says that this new batch will start arriving as early as next wednesday. That is the eve of the end of title 42, the pandemic era Border Policy that has allowed the u. S. To turn away thousands of migrants and Asylum Seekers on Public Health grounds, and that order into effect in the trump administration, but it will expire next thursday on may 11th. The very same day that the National Covid emergency officially ends. Some Border Cities are bracing for impact, others, theyre already feeling it, like downtown paso, where shelters are overflowing, migrants are cant all over the streets, and that is where rosa flores is right now with those migrants who are out there a church south there. Rosa, can you describe for us, what is happening on the ground right now in el paso . What are those markets telling . If you know, abby, a lot of heartbreaking stories. Just to show you where i am, at the church that you are talking about is what you see behind me. All the streets around here are packed with migrants. The sidewalk where i am walking turns into a bed overnight for hundreds of migrants that dont have a place to go. Now, this family from venezuela is very gracious. They are willing to share their story with us. This is edwin and yes there. They are from venezuela. [speaking nonenglish] could you tell us why you left venezuela . [speaking nonenglish] she says that the situation in venezuela is very difficult and really what a lot of individuals like her want to do in the United States is work. [speaking nonenglish] she told me that she traveled about a month and i have to get here. I am asking, what was the most difficult part . [speaking nonenglish] [speaking nonenglish] [speaking nonenglish] she says that the worst part was going to the darien gap. She says that her family saw people who died in the jungle. [speaking nonenglish] where are you going to sleep tonight . [speaking nonenglish] she says that she and her children are going to be sleeping here on the street. I promise this little boy out ask a question, so ill ask the question, [speaking nonenglish] what is your dream in the United States . [speaking nonenglish] [speaking nonenglish] he says he wants to visit columbia. [speaking nonenglish] and he says that he loves pancakes, loves pizza, and he hopes to get an education in the United States. Abby, back to you. All right, marissa flores, that is an incredible interview to hear from those individuals. Thank you so much for bringing that to us. And now, lets get some perspective from chad wolf, the former acting Homeland Security secretary under president trump. Chad, thank you for joining us. I actually want to get your reaction to what we just saw there. Theres a lot of policy that i do want to discuss with you, but of course, there are people behind all of this. A woman and her two Young Children leaving venezuela, going through a force where they could easily have died to come to the United States, because what theyre fleeing is so terrible. What do you say to that woman and to her children tonight . Absolutely, there is a number of heartbreaking stories. Of course, you just showed one. There are many others. A lot of individuals that were to come to the United States, the greatest country in the world. There is a lot of opportunity here. We need to make sure that individuals who want to come here come the legal way and not illegally. I think that is what is driving the prices along that border. As we have heard, most one jobs, one economic opportunity. They want a chance at a better life. God love them for the, but again, we need to make sure that the legal pathways eight number of individuals can enter the country are the right way to do it, the orderly way. I think that is what is driving the crisis at the moment, is the number of illegal individuals crossing the border. We need to get them back on legal pathways, so that we have some control, order and process along the border. What youre describing, a legal pathway, will require congress to do something. Theyve declined to do that, failed to do that for many, many years now. What we hear from the republican side of the aisle, your side of the aisle, is that we want more border security, more enforcement at the border. Lets put that on the table but my question to you is, where is the compromise . What do you think republican ship on the table to offer to the other side that can get the country closer to actual progress on policy reform, Immigration Reform . I think its important to remember that there are always 70 different pieces that the u. S. Offers now for individuals to come in, work, visit and like. There are a number of legal pathways to date that are available to a number of individuals to come into the country. Yes, they can be reformed. Theres immense amount of fraud in those Visa Programs that really have not been altered in some decades. So, yes, Congress Needs to get to work on that, but the beginning of this, you need to secure the border and make that an orderly process. Theres no incentive for individuals to become vetted, to apply for different Visa Programs, if they can simply walk across the border, be released into American Communities and receive a work permit. We need to understand that there are legal ways to individuals so that we know who is coming into the country so that they are not a Public Safety front. They are not a National Security threat. I think that is important. I think that is what we lost sight of over the last 26 to 27 months here, when we dont know who is coming into this country, unfortunately, because of the crisis along that border. Ive heard you just say, we need to do the unfortunate part first, but it does seem like you are not going to be able to just do the enforcement and not deal with people like that woman we were just discussing, who are already here. Is it possible here that republicans would agree to do these things simultaneously, and what is stopping them from coming to the Negotiating Table with a real comprehensive plan here . Well, we see that there is actually a plan, and republicans in the house passed a couple of different bills. I think it will be on the floor next week. I think what you saw from this administration, which i have been critical of, i dont think that is a surprise, is that their way to deal with the Security Issue along that border is the talk about amnesty for individuals here. I think you got to get serious about stopping the current flow. Youve got to get serious about putting in measures that are going to secure the border so that you funnel people to legal ports of entry and air able to vet and check them out, so we understand who is coming in through the front door to do country. If you dont do the, and you really need to do that first and foremost, because we have seen, time and time again, facts show you, that if you dont do the, you will want to continue to reform legal pathways. It will not work at the end of the day. You need both, but i would continue to contend that you need to secure the border force, and then you can talk about reforming the various legal pathways to bring individuals into the country. Let me get you to respond to this from New York City mayor eric adams. Hes been talking about Texas Governor greg abbott, who has been busing migrants to the border democratic led cities. Notably without any coronation. Take a listen. Governor abbott, sit to washington, black mayor, to houston, black mayor, to los angeles, black mayor, to denver, black mayor. He passed over thousand subsidies to land here. I cannot ignore the fact that Governor Abbott sent markets only two cities with black mayors. It is undermining our cities. So, what is your response to that . Also, why isnt greg abbott, the governor of texas sending markets to other parts of the country, were actually, they might need people to come . There are so many parts of this country that are short on workers, agricultural workers, construction workers. Why is he not sending people to those countries to . You would certainly need to ask the Governor Abbott on the selection of where he sensed those buses, but it should be noted that the mayor of el paso is also sending buses of markets the places like timber and other places. I think what you see here is that texas has been bombarded over the last 28 months from this border crisis. They are out a shelter capacity, our sources, and they have been begging the federal government to step and and do its job. The federal government has refused to date, so theyve had to take these measures to move people out of the state of texas and moved him into areas that have Sanctuary Policies that will care for these individuals. It has also sparked a debate, right . You have the mayor of el paso, sorry, the mayor of New York City visiting a paso. Why is he doing the . He wants to understand the crisis that is impacting his city, and hes actually calling on the Biden Administration to do more at the end of the day. So i think its important that we now have bipartisan consensus but dont you think a little coordination is worthwhile here, even if that is the objective, to spark a conversation . Why not just give the cities a heads up . Sure, i think coordination is always to benefit. Anytime that you are moving maskers of individuals like this, i am all in favor of coronation. I dont think youll get any debate for me there. Again, what i think we are seeing here is we now have bipartisan consensus but from republicans a democratic marriage that the federal government needs to do something to stop this crisis because its not only affecting Rural Communities in the state of texas and arizona and along that border, but its not impacting big cities around this country as well. Of course, every community in america has been ravaged by fentanyl that is coming across almost exclusively across the southern border, controlled by the cartels. All right, chad wolf, thank you so much for joining us tonight, appreciate it. Thank you. And just moments from now, the fbi and texas, theyll be hosting a News Conference on the capture of the suspect in the killings of five people, including a nineyearold child. That suspect, the undocumented immigrant, who has been deported four times. Plus, the markets today falling as the nation inches closer to default, unless washington acts. The problem is, republicans in congress, they are not going to budge, and President Biden is already drawing a line in the sand. We will talk to a key economic player and the Biden White House next. May 9th, thats it they should have circled on your calendar, a meeting at the white house with President Biden congressional leaders from both parties is scheduled for that, and the mission is to agree on a plan to pay americas bills. The debt ceiling has been raised 78 times since 1960 and in a town where leverages power, how these meetings go is usually an indicator of the dynamic at that particular time, so take, for example, 2011. Thats one after john boehner stopped taking the president s calls. That led to visibly angry president obama to go on National Television and summit leadership to the white house on a saturday. I told speaker boehner, i told democratic leader nancy pelosi, i told harry reid, and i told Mitch Mcconnell that i want them 11 00 tomorrow. We have run out of time, and they are going to have to explain to me how it is that we are going to avoid default. So by 2017, it was donald trump now, he was fighting with his own party, blaming paul ryan and republicans for what he called a mess, while describing his white house sit down with both parties like this to reporters on air force ones. We had a very good meeting with nancy pelosi and chuck schumer. We agreed to a threemonth extension on debt ceiling, which they considered to be sacred, very important, always will agree on a debt ceiling, automatically because of the importance of it. But less than two years later, but meetings between trump and leadership was regularly contentious. That would put it mildly. And january at 2019, the president stormed out of a meeting over potential Government Shutdown and in october, eighth meeting over turkey ended with nancy pelosi and the president accusing each other of having, quote, a mom. In the middle of all of the, the debt ceiling was actually quietly announced. It was raised in a tweet and comments like this. I said, i remember, to Senator Schumer and nancy pelosi, would anyone ever use that to negotiate . They said, absolutely not. Thats a sacred element of the country. They cant see that southern connecticut. Things have changed, but the only reason that were telling you this is what happens in these meetings, they directly affect your pocketbook. Thats a fact especially true of the 66 million americans who are relying on Social Security, the same for veterans or for active duty troops who if the debt ceiling is not raised. Anyone whos been trying to buy a home, only to see Interest Rates keep climbing in recent months. Those dates on the calendar, like may 9th, they matter more than just investors and economists. June 1st, another day for your calendar, that is when all of this can go from theoretical to greatly real and very painful for those of you who rely on the government for money. That is the Treasury Secretary says the u. S. Could run out of cash, to pay its debts. Meanwhile, the president as a trip to japan and another trip to australia. That means that President Biden will be out of the country a very critical period of time. So with the snow is the Deputy Director for the National Economic council over at the white house. Thank you very much for joining us. First, i want to raise a prospect that were now hearing from over on capitol hill. Some lawmakers, senator rick scott, a republican, is saying that we need 40 more days, for the extension to try to get a deal. What the white house be open to . I am not going to negotiate here on tv, but i will say is congresss responsibility to adjust and do so without conditions. Nonnegotiable, the reason why the president has been safe for months now that we got to take the possibility of the fall off the table. As you detailed there, the consequences of default are severe. There is not a person in america would not feel the impact of a. Wed likely go into a recession, we see Mortgage Rates and credit card rates and Small Business rates go up, Social Security checks, payments for Military Members would be in jeopardy, so the consequences are severe. At the same time, the president has made completely clear for months, again, the is perfectly willing to sit down with Speaker Mccarthy and all the congressional leadership to have a conversation about tax and spending policy about our budget. Hes laid out our budget in early march, set in detail that the Spending Program hes in favor of, the tax policy is in favor of. We are more than happy to have a conversation with republicans about what we prefer our vision to their, but what we can do is have a conversation about whether we would default or not. The consequences are just too severe. I understand that is your position. One thing i think is a little hard to understand, today is may 2nd. May 9th is when the president is scheduled for this meeting. When i say the republicans and democrats at the wales tomorrow . That would be really today. Republicans have passed their version of what they want to see in the that ceiling. The president passed his budget. Why not meet this week . My understanding is that it is out of respect for the schedule of the congressional leadership between Speaker Mccarthy, who i believe, has been brought this weekend. He has a succession, so we want to make sure that all participants can appear in person for that meeting. Although my understanding is that Speaker Mccarthy would actually return, would come back in order to do this. I would imagine you would agree that this is important enough. Sure, look, on may 9th, which comes up shortly, the president will have a good conversation with these folks. Hell make clear two things, number one, that we cannot have a default. Congress needs to stop wasting time and move towards cleaning the debt ceiling without any conditions attach but also talk about initiating a separate process where we can talk about tax and spending policy. As i said, the president s budget is a vision for cutting our deficit by three trillion dollars over the next ten years will continue to invest in programs that we all rely upon and by asking the super wealthy and big corporations to pay their fair share. I think its a very different vision from what the republicans have laid out in there that ceiling, which would take a hammer to programs that middle class families rely upon. 20 on things like veteran medical care, an air traffic control, on education, meaning a lawsuit potentially 60,000 teachers and classrooms across the country. We have two very different visions for how to move our economy forward. Were happy to have that discussion with the republicans, just like we did last year, when we come to a bipartisan agreement. As you know, senator joe manchin, a democrat, he has said that he wants to see negotiations. I want you to take a look into what he says about where things stand right now. Its unsustainable, the direction that were going now, with 31 and a half trillion, and basically saying, well, were going to do is not talk about it but then come back and talk about it. Why not talk about it now and make sure that we have an agreement that this is something that we are all concerned about, theres no such thing as a red line. The bottom line is that we are here to negotiate. Why not talk about it now . I think that you are a clean debt ceiling race, but is the president willing to have the conversation right now about those broader issues, as Senator Manchin is asking . Sure, absolutely. Weve been happy to do that for many months now. The president has made clear that ever since he laid out his budget in march, hes invited Speaker Mccarthy and the House Republicans to present their budget, so that we can have an informed discussion about what exactly Senator Manchin is talking about their, how we make progress on the fiscal trajectory of the country. Like i said before, the president has laid out a plan to cut the deficit by three trillion dollars. And preserve the programs that families rely upon. Again, we are perfectly happy to have the conversation with Speaker Mccarthy and all the congressional leadership about how we enact that vision and what we take a superior to the significant cuts that the speaker and his caucus are pushing for, and that would, according to moodys, push this country closer to a recession and cost us 100,000 jobs just in the next year. Again, its important to take a step back and realize that the current position at the House Republican caucus is the either we default and move the country immediately into a recession, or we expect and except the massive spending cuts to middle class programs that would cost the city under doesnt jobs to push us to a recession. Thats not really a good set of choices that were dealing with. All right, there will be much more on this topic in the coming weeks. We appreciate you joining us. Thank you very much. Well i guess i wouldve gotten us xfinity. And wed have a better view. Do you need mulch . What, we have a ton of mulch. Rare praise for the speaker of the house, coming from an unlikely source. The White House Press podium. In israel, one russia reporter asked a question, implying that he doesnt support ukraine. Kevin mccarthy said this. I vote in aid for ukraine. I support aid for ukraine. I do not support what your country has done to ukraine. I do not support your killing of the children either. So, that comment drew this praise at todays White House Press briefing. We are glad to hear that Speaker Mccarthy agrees that it is vital to keep supporting ukraine. It was good to hear him push back on the Propaganda Put Forth by a russian state news outlet, as we have seen. Im joined now by stuff with the new york times, Sarah Ellison with the Washington Post and tom nichols of the atlantic. So, tom, first of all it is crazy that it has to be said. I dont support the killing of children in ukraine. But he is saying it because there have been some questions about how much he and other republicans support the effort of ukraine to not being dominated by russia in this war. Right. Thats the first thing you have to say. Isnt it great that someone can actually say this out loud . That you dont support russia in this war. But i think that the overall problem is that theres a small part of the gop base that is basically siding with russia on this war, and a kind of almost reflective opposition to the democrats and the socalled Foreign Policy establishment that were doing. And so now mccarthy has distanced himself from that, finally but there is a block of orders that he was speaking to up until this moment. Is it reflective or are they actually trying to shift the dynamic here going from the kind of neocons of the bush era to the Trump America first something. I mean, certainly it is an active effort from that site of the debase. Theyre not the majority of the republican electorate. I think thats the space where Kevin Mccarthy, coming from i was at the Meeting Security Conference earlier this year and you saw support from big fractions of the Republican Party there. But its been Speaker Mccarthy whos been push and pull, because you have that America First wing. People like Marjorie Taylor greene, people like matt gates who have tried to push on this issue. So hes walked a thin line but yesterday, they pushed by that and they came out strong and i think the white house is also bothering him up the head of the debt ceiling negotiations. Two things done in one. So this is Marjorie Taylor greene hes been actually at the forefront for all of this. One of the loudest voices for the United States from ukraine. There is not bipartisan support among the american people. For fighting a war in ukraine that does nothing for americans that force them to pay for it. And by the way, a cameo from Tucker Carlson who has been the loudest voices on this. And i was talking to tucker earlier and they were saying that if tucker were still on air Kevin Mccarthy wouldnt be able to say those kinds of. Things, and i think that thats kind of an alignment of the maga republican Political Base and that part of the conservative media is very tight. And i think its something were gonna see a lot more. From right because remember how ron desantis walked back on ukraine. It was on Tucker Carlsons show when that happened. That was one of the largest most important voices. Thats a great point. I wonder what ron desantis is going to do now. Well, not desantis, last, night got caught between Tucker Carlson and fox news on one hand and his donors and the republican establishment on the other. It was the worst of all. World he said, it he flipflopped and he had to and say the next day. But, at this, going now there is room again to run to the right of Kevin Mccarthy. And, i think its absolutely right that carlsons abstinence clears a little bit of the air here. But, also i think its really an important point, its not a majority of the gop. Its not a majority of the American Public. Its certainly not a majority of the American Public but its a huge chunk, its a bigger chance than i think we have seen in recent history. But everyone, stay with, us coming up next, what its like to take on both fox news and also its biggest star. And, then watch Tucker Carlson fall in the wake of multiple lawsuits. Including her own. Well the former fox news producer, she is not finished. She just sat down with cnn. And well hear what she had to say, coming up next. Or more. Tonight, Former Fox Producer Abby Grossberg is speaking out about the Culture Of Fear and intimidation that ousted host Tucker Carlson, allegedly at fox news. But it wasnt just among the employees. Grossberg who explosive lawsuit against fox marked a turning point for dominion, in its case against the network also spoke out about the power that carlson tried to wield over politicians. Politicians like the house speaker, Kevin Mccarthy. I dont think that journalist should have that kind of power to threaten and bully people. And tucker did and reveled in it. He enjoyed that. That was part of his persona. Yeah. They believed that he could broker who was speaker, house speaker, he wanted to do that live on air but Kevin Mccarthy said no. What do you mean he wanted to do that live on our . His plan was to have Kevin Mccarthy, come on the show, so fast forward to january 5th, they start asking me to Book Mccarthy On The Show that night. I had worked with him a lot when i was at Sunday Morning features and had a relationship with this team. That afternoon, just in common. And he said, heres the plan. Tucker is going to first have kevin on. Hear him begged and grovel. Then, well bring in matt gates and matt gates will then kind of set his terms. Then tucker will set his terms that mccarthy has to agree to. Tucker carlson had terms. Yes, he had terms. And, were going to make this whole thing happen on air. Save the Republican Party. Unfortunately, for mccarthy sake, he said no. Cnns oliver darcy is joining us at the table, so oliver as i often say, Fox News Saga is not just about the media. Its about politics. This is a figure in the media who was as much a player on the Chessboard Of American Politics as pretty much anybody else. And there you have the proof. Yes, and he was probably arguably the most influential force inside of the modernday Republican Party outside of donald trump. And with donald trump out of office, Tucker Carlson on his Fox News Show and the Fox News Support was extremely influential. And she describes him as a journalist but i think it is more better to express them as an extremist. An extremist who pushed the Republican Party to the extreme weather it was with casting conspiracies about the covid vaccine, about what happened on january six, slowing down the election on 2020. There was so many Conspiracy Theories that carlson floated on his program that ended up taking all of the Republican Party. And he gave voice to those and we were talking about how Kevin Mccarthy probably wouldnt have come out against russia in the war on ukraine this week if Tucker Carlson were on the program. I think thats very true and its going to see impressive to see how they adapt with that extreme Voice Whipping them into a certain direction. Sarah, youve been following this closely as well. Yes, i think what oliver says about his influence is absolutely true. But i also think that Tucker Carlson is not entirely done. He sort of plotting his return, much the way that donald trump is sort of plotting his return. We have to see the ways in which he sort of ousted you have the most powerful person in the media, whos been ousted from the chair and trump was the most followed politician, the most powerful person in the Republican Party both working their way back. And i think its going to be a test for the Kevin Mccarthys of the world to see what theyre going to do when these people reemerge. , and wall Tucker Carlson was undeniably powerful, the most powerful person at the network, and that person was influential, i think anyone besides donald trump to not wield that level apart of republican politics, is emblematic that have pushed that sort of grievance driven for a style of Folk Journalism for a long time. You had seen people come before, him which really means that style more popularized and push that network. And i think, thus the electorate, to the right and even though fox news in donald trump werent on the same side, he was able because of how deeply rooted the grievance was in the Republican Base to push back against fox news sometimes. And, certainly, Tucker Carlson wielded that in a deeply effective manner that made his show so much more popular than others. But certainly he is not the only one who is doing that on that network. And through that the party and the network a shifted. I mean honestly, he didnt even invent the genre, he just kind of perfected it in a certain moment, right . In our politics, one of the other things about the verse that i think is really interesting, i think people really wonder, what is this Fox News Producer Doing and how did she end up here. She actually answered that to anderson explaining why she went from being a part of the problem to being almost like a whistleblower. I was definitely seduced for about a week by those ideas as tens of millions of americans were. And wondering if there could be evidence. That evidence never came. So, for me, it took a few days to kind of just realize that the whole thing was a ruse. They did not push back on Sydney Powell or Rudy Giuliani. Did you feel an obligation to get into her ear and say you have to push back . Yes. And i had statements and i had statements and you would put up a dominion statement, at one point on the screen and she didnt read it. Ultimately it was up to her to read it and she didnt. Do you buy that . You know, it is possible that she Still Believes it but i think that whole notion that you get seduced by this thing, you live in this kind of crazy bubble where there is nobody at the table who stops for a moment and says, by the way, that is crazy. That everybody says will run with it and i think Tucker Carlson, as you are seeing it, he perfected this being able to kind of hold the microphone in front of the speaker. And to get that feedback going. Because he just wasnt pumping. And he was listening to what was coming back, amplifying it back out over and over and over again. And i think thats where the secret of his success was, as opposed to the romo who said i believe it and im not going to interrupt Rudy Giuliani while hes doing this. I want to play one more part of abbys comment. This is about the seaward. So people got a message from Tucker Carlson that it was okay to use the c word or whatever it was and they felt involved in to do that too. I think that they took pride and joy in doing it. They thought it was fun. It was just really kind of a bro fest there. You, know Tucker Carlson plays a provocateur on television. Its almost like an act, right . Like alex jones in some ways. But i think what shes describing is a culture that was actually kind of real inside fox news. , and shocking to some extent, this culture still comes after carlson replaced bill riley who was ousted over sexual harassment. And that carlson would come in and use the sea word freely is sort of stunning. But, to toms, point i think its important to point out that at the end of the day the murdochs earned in charge of this network, theyre the one toward the captains of the ship. And, so them letting maria go on with election lies, or Tucker Carlson run the show this way this is on them. They allowed for this. Where were they . Yes, i mean and look what you are saying is that almost 800 Million Dollar settlement here is proof that they knew that they probably couldnt defend this in accord and come out of it without losing at least a bit of a haircut, theyre financially but oliver, thank you for joining us, tom, stand sarah, thank you all very much and standby because we are waiting for that News Conference from the fbi on tonights dramatic capture of that suspect. Theyve been blasting out the suspects photo, as well as information about the 80,000 Dollar Reward as theyve been fanning out across south texas to try to find an. But, im told from Law Enforcement sources, ultimately, what authorities were able to do was to surveil the suspects wife, which led to a residence that was associated with the family member. Their tactical officer found the suspect, 38yearold Francisco Oropeza hiding in a closet, im told. He was taken into custody without incident. He has not been booked into the county jail, the sheriff issuing a statement, short time ago thinking that the multitude of Law Enforcement agencies that worked on this case to try to find the suspect, also thinking members of the community. You have to remember, people in Southeast Texas were going about their lives in fear for the past several days at the suspect was accused of this brutal heinous attack was on the run.
