So that was part of the conversation last night. But the frontrunner is Bernie Sanders. Make no mistake. When you look at the polls this week, the frontrunner is Bernie Sanders there. Did he squeak by without maybe the attention he would have had normally because bloomberg was on the stage in. Yeah, i think that ultimately, you know, theres a difference between who was declared the winner last night by those of us in it the media and who voters think was the winner. And were going to find thatute over the next few days. Sanders has been on all these stages before and candidates have an opportunity to go after him, but this was the first shot of getting this big opportunity with bloomberg. And if millions of women were watching that, i cant imagine his numbers are to get better based on that answer. And senator sanders doesnt have a majority of support, but having a solid 25 to 30 of the vote in a crowded field is very important, and arguably its similar to what the candidate donald trump had in 2016. He only had a plurality put it was a hard plurality that allowed him to do well. It was a winner take all and that helped trump consolidate things more quickly. Because the democrats have a more proportional allocation of delegates, i think senator sanders he might win the nomination and if he doesnt he might take this all the way to the convention because hes going to have at least a solid quarter of the delegates if not far more.
