That would mean a final vote on confirmation could come as soon as saturday. What the republicans dont have is the 50 votes needed to move it forward. The expectation is what the fbi returns to help get them over the line. As you know, there are three undecided republicans. Two undecided democrats. All five weighing their options. Multiple of those senators have said this report will go a long way to dictating how they will all end up voting. It all relies on what they see here. The big problem is we wont see it. It wont be released publicly. No summary. The staffers and senators are not allowed to talk about it at all. What does that mean . It will be open to interpretation of what the fbi found in the interviews in the supplemental Background Investigation. A good metric is look at the votes.
