After a period of time our forces were able to kill two militants and wound another. The military operation ended. The situation is now stable. In the Morning Hours the extremists invooid have aeded an area southwest of stet. This video from a Kurdish News Agency shows the battle that killed five peshmirga fighters. A well known general is seen here speaking to our Senior Correspondent arwa damon last year. He was also among those killed today. Isis released these photos showing areas he lamz to have captured from the kurds. Cnn cannot independently var fire their authenticity. Kirkuk is a major oilproducing region in iraq.
