Jim, what are the new details were learning the connections to the terror groups . A lot of moving parts here this morning, one of the details we learned about the suspects the girlfriend of bali was shown in a still photo going through immigration control in turkey on her way to syria. She went to syria one day after the attacks. On the other hand theres other kinds of things out there this morning, rosemary for example this threat you talked about in the headlines, this comes from al qaedas Northern Branch something called north africa that the french have had on their radar for some time now. Theyre the ones that have caused all the problems for french troops in mali and central africa, and, in fact they issued this threat on the terrorist websites this morning saying france pays the cost of its violence in muslim countries and the advise lace of their sanctity. As long as they occupy mali and bombard our people in syria and iraq and the lame media continues to undermine our prophet, mohammed. San francisco will expose themselves to the worst and more weve seen these kind of threats in the past. Theres been a dubious connection. The north african Al Qaeda Branch and the yemeni Al Qaeda Branch is where we think the brothers were trained by whom they were trained in any case. Its not clear how serious this threat is being taken, but the Prime Minister told us yesterday that in fact every threat is being taken seriously. Who was involved and so theyre trying to track down friends and acquaintances, family of the various people that were involved in the terrorist attacks. Have gone together with the number here and from the offices have managed to put together this weeks edition of Charlie Hebdo, which is defiant, picturing mohammed on the cover, and mohammeds wearing a sign that says the line over the cartoon says all is forgiven kind of an ironic title. The magazine intends to print about 3 million copies it was 1 million, now its up to 3 million. So we understand. Which would be 60 times its normal press run. One of the things thats ironic in all of this so much is being made of the magazine and the cartoons in fact, normally only sells about 30,000 copies in france. And so its only seen by 1 20 of a percent of the french population yet it was it had become a cause celeb for muslims because of its daring approach. In any case theyre going to continue that daring approach with the publication which will hit the newsstands tomorrow. They have not been silenced in the midst of these terror attacks. Out in the java sea, things are a little better at least the underwater currents have lightened up enough for divers to get back into the water today. What is difficult, though too, rosemary communication, a couple at the top, search officials we talked to here in jakarta and borneo have said they are hearing reports it may have been pulled out, they are not confirming that at this point. We do know about the second black box is they had a read on it they were 100 sure of where it was, it was just going to be a matter of time before they got it out of the water. Rosemary the data on the flight data recorder were told with the ntsc were told that the download process should have begun earlier this morning. The good news when we spoke to this investigator has to do with the condition of the black box. Heres what he told us. The condition is good. Its good. No fire no signature of fire and no cracks. Downloading is very fast lets say one hour. And in interpretation takes a longer time. Discussion on matters of lets say the aircraft and movement it takes maybe months. Months because rosemary it will take that long and there are sao many different parties involved in this investigation. France of course one of them because of the airbus a320 manufactured a french aircraft. The other priority beyond the cockpit voice recorder the search thats continuing in the java sea is for the fuselage. They have found parts of the wings, parts of the engines, the tail section has been pulled up they have not found the main wreckage of the plane at this point. That a major concern for the families of course. Before you go, i wan want to ask you, one of the indonesian officials was suggesting the plane had exploded before it hit the water. What is being said about that jumping very quickly and before this information has been analyzed . Rosemary were hearing a lot of speculation or theorys that have been floating around out there. This is one Search Operations officer who said based on what ive seen, the plane exploded when it hit the water, he used the word exploded specifically in the translation we went back to him and talked to him about that. What is clear is that the plane broke apart. Experts will agree on that the pieces are scattered across the floor of the java sea. Debris picked up miles, dozens of kilometers away. You know but the clear point now investigators want to make including mr. Margona who you just heard from it is too early to speculate, whether the plane broke up when it hit the water or broke up somewhere in the air. Theres no reason to jump ahead, they have the information, the critical flight data recorders and the answers will be revealed. Rosemary . Exactly right. When they have the two boxes we will know in a matter of days. Perhaps weeks, it depends how soon they will release that certainly the answers are there, no reason for anyone to be speculating at this time. Government officials are casting doubt on a report from the Associated Press that up to six suspects from last weeks terror attack remain at large. A french muslim leader is condemning the attacks and calling for reforms to root out extremism that has led to terrorism. Today we want to appeal for a change in religious thinking that we abandon political islam. That we should not turn it into a policy to keep it as a religion fp a religion that doesnt ask people to kill anyone nor to carry out antisemitic acts or anything political. Benjamin netanyahu visited the site of the siege monday. Israel will stand by their side. And some say theyd like similar reassurances from their own government. The Jewish Community here in france has been warning for a long time about a rise in antisemitism. Many here say they hope politicians are going to do more not just in the realm of security but also by showing solidarity with frances jews. The new security measures are met with mixed feelings. I absolutely think the security is sufficient this man says even before the attacks, we had a decent amount of protection and now the maximum is being done after this new gray situation. But theyve made up their minds, and want to leave france. With so many jews living in israel the security is at a higher level, there are other reasons for leaving as well. It is better to be a jew there than in france. As france grapples with the aftermath of the terror attacks, it seems it will take more than additional security to fully win back the trust of the jewish communities. We have breaking news from indonesia now, we want to go to david there in jakarta, david, some significant breaking news there too . Reporter thats right, a couple key pieces of information coming into us from one of the search and rescue officials. The Search Operations coordinator, he is in borneo on the other side of the job at a staging area for the search effort. Number one, the cockpit voice recorder confirming the cockpit voice recorder has been recovered, its now on an Indonesian Navy sit in banda aceh aceh. They have been looking for that since yesterday. They have pinned down the location. The search and rescue officials confirming the cockpit voice recorder is out of the water and on a ship. Significantly, as well rosemary he is saying that the fuselage of flight 8501 we pressed him on this he said its the main body of the aircraft. Divers have found it in the location to the northeast of where we found the tail. Divers finding the main body of the aircraft according to mr. Sipriotti. I havent received the full report on this. Rosemary just a word of caution here we have been getting all sorts of reports and communication is tough out there, on the job, and this is a senior official though and very explicitly he is saying divers have located the fuselage the main body of flight 8501. That is significant if as you say that is confirmed. He is a senior official. So at this point we know that 48 bodies have been recovered of the 162 souls that were on that plane. And thats why this is so significant because those loved ones they want the remains of their loved ones brought back from the deep sea. And they this is very important, of course too, the voice recorder being recovered because that will answer many of the questions. For the families they have said please theyve said this to their government please ensure you bring our loved ones home. This should curnow, if this is confirmed. Rosemary if it is confirmed they have found the main body of the aircraft as this search and rescue official is saying of course we do not have any information yet, first reports just coming in we do not have any confirmation on the state of that wreckage. Whether or not there are bod dwis in that officials have said that in addition to the two black boxes which are out of the water, one here in jakarta and one on the ship, their other great priority was to find the wreckage and the reason as you mentioned, more than 100 families are still waiting for answers. Rosemary even the president of indonesia had promised that this search and rescue effort will continue until everybody on board is found and returned to their family. Lets hope this plays out and it is the case that the fuselage has been found for air asia flight 8501. David telling us it hasnt been confirmed beyond this senior official that the fuselage has likely been found, thats significant because the remaining bodies of those 162 that were originally on that plane will be brought back to their loved ones. Also to the cockpit voice recorder its been recovered and we know the data recorder has already been sent to the lab for analysis. Talk to us about that the feelings there in israel on this day, as that tragedy played out last week we want to talk about how israelis are feeling, how and how french jews are feeling and whether they will be making their way to israel and these large numbers we talk about, up to 10,000. Lets start by just looking closely at the day thats going to unfold there in jerusalem. Well israelis here are uniting in grief with juews around the world and people around the world with the four jews murdered in the supermarket coming to be buried here today, its symbolic for israelis that they decided to be buried not in san francisco, but here in israel and its the ethos of zionism, jews want to come here from all over the world. Those four are coming here to be buried. Lets talk too about this move a lot of french jews for a while have been making their way because they fear for their safety in paris and other parts of france. And they have been moving to israel and now, of course Prime MinisterBenjamin Netanyahu has invited those who feel they would be better and safer, in israel hes invited them to move to israel some people are suggesting those numbers could be as high as 10,000 this year. Whats the sense there in israel on that. There are 7,000 french jews who moved to israel in 2014 more than any time in the world. I think its fascinating that many came we had a war this summer in which israel was attacked and there were rockets that were fired all over the country. And yet they feel safer in israel surrounded by enemies than they do in france. And the reason why they do is because israel does what it can to protect its people. And make them feel safe. And i wish the french jews in france could feel as comfortable in paris as they do over here. There has been some criticism hasnt there for those french jews who have moved from france to israel the process of citizenship, if you can walk us through that and how some people are responding to that in israel. Jews from around the world will always be welcome here its a haven for the jewish people thats why the state of israel exists unfortunately, there has to be a state of israel when jews are beak threatened in europe just like they were threatened in europe seven decades ago. Other people move here as well and in the process of moving to this country. Its unfortunate that jews are still under attack and the world isnt doing enough to prevent the terror attacks that have threatened jews for so long hopefully theyre finally waking up. Indonesian search Officials Say the plane exploded after hitting the water, based on an analysis of the debris. A lot of other people are saying do not jump to conclusions. Do not speculate.
