It was a very false story, a very exaggerated, a very exaggerated and false story. And when Sarah Sanders said this, it was just a smoke screen. Sarah, you took to twitter last night to ensure the public that mcmasters job was safe. But has the president spoken directly to either mcmaster, carson, to tell them their jobs are in fact safe . Again, like i said last night, and im echo it again. I spoke directly to the president last night. He asked me to pass that message along to general mcmaster. I know the two of them have been many meetings today. Whether or not that came up, i dont know. And the white house wonders why people dont trust what they say. And then there is this. John dowd. John dowd is the lead lawyer handling President Trumps response to the russia investigation, quitting today after the president just last week tweeted the failing New York Times purposely wrote a false story stating that i am unhappy with my legal team on the russia case, and i am going to add another lawyer to help out. Wrong. Im very happy with my lawyers, john dowd, ty cobb and jay sekulow. They are doing a great job. Well, dowd wanted the president to cooperate with muellers team and resist the urge to attack the special counsel publicly. Dowd is out today as part of a shakeup of the president s legal team. Sources tell cnn at least three Defense Attorneys from major firms recently turned down the chance to join trumps legal team. A fourth is still being considered, but would have to leave his firm if he took the job. That comes as the former white house flame thrower steve bannon weighs in on the white house chaos, saying if john kelly leaves the trump administration, he doesnt think there will be another chief of staff. According to bannon, kelly put too much structure in the white house. Right. Thats the problem. There is too much structure in the trump white house. Bannon also says he thinks the president is, his words, going to war over mueller. So what does all this mean for the russia investigation . President says he still like to testify before the special counsel. Sure seems like it, doesnt it . And if the president does testify, will mueller ask him about another piece of tonights breaking news . The special counsels team has reportedly traced the identity of guccifer 2. 0, the hacker who took credit for providing wikileaks with stolen info on from the dnc directly to russian intelligence. Thats according to the daily beast which reports the socalled lone dnc hacker was an officer of russias military intelligence directorate, bringing the investigation straight to the doorstep of the kremlin. All this as another woman who says she had an affair with donald trump speaks out, telling Anderson Cooper this. Were you in love with him . I was, yeah. And do you think he was in love with you . He was, yeah. That as Stormy Daniels attorney is demanding that the Trump Organization preserve all documents and emails linked to the 130,000 hush money payment to the porn star who says she too had an affair with trump. Daniels also denying claims that she called this whole thing a nightmare. So is it any wonder the president said this today . What advice would you give to the 25yearold donald trump knowing what you know today . Dont run for president. Im going bring in cnn political analyst ryan lizza and april, cnn counterterrorist expert phil mudd and republican strategist rick wilson. Welcome to the thunderdome, everyone. So rick, President Trump ryan, i should say, President Trump is bringing in former u. N. Ambassador john bolton to replace h. R. Mcmaster. The president is also deciding to go his own way when it comes to his russia legal strategy, made clear with the departure of his top lawyer john dowd. This all part of the same chaos the president is doing things his own way . Well, absolutely. I mean a couple of thoughts on this. We now have digenova a major part of his legal team. Larry kudlow running economic policy, and you have bolton running National Security. You basically now have a white house that looks like the fox green room, right . But i think by far this bolton pick is the most consequential personnel pick that donald trump has made by far. Cant overstate this, don. This is someone whose main ideas are that we should withdraw from the iran deal and bomb that country to get rid of its Nuclear Weapons program. And similarly, with north korea, his main strategy, his main idea, he has been writing about it, talking about it for months is that we should launch a first strike on north korea. So i just i cant overstate how consequential someone like this is going to be the most important adviser on National Security to a president who has no experience on these issues. So this is a big deal. So rick, he says, all of his past comments are behind him. But what ryan just described, thats policy. In his comments, doesnt he speak about his policy in his comments . Well, look, i think that were going to see, you know, a john bolton in a normal administration where there are most of the people in the administration arent certifiably insane would be sort of outlier, a guy who churns the water a little bit. But now youve got a guy who is a john bolton in an administration full of people who could be committed on the average day. And with a president who has a very short Attention Span and who has a very short temper. I dont want that moment where john bolton is in the limousine with the president going yeah, you can nuke em, get em, get em, don. Get em. Theyre a small guy. You should nuke them to teach them a lesson. This is a guy trump is on the edge anyway. The guy is tearing the wallpaper off the walls right now anyway. So i think that having bolton there to encourage his worst tendencies, and having all these other guys, this retail tv president has now a reality tv staff. So turning this thing into a table flipping hissy fit hair pulling contest, it could get very ugly very quickly. Phil, according to a source familiar with the negotiations, bolton promised trump, quote, he wouldnt start any wars if he selected him. Do you take comfort in that . You have to ask that question . I know. Go ahead, phil. I dont. But let me give you a simple perspective on this. And that is checks and balances. We typically think of checks and balances as executive branch, judicial branch, legislative branch. In the executive branch, we had checks and balances brought in by donald trump. Let me have the calm guys in particular, the generals. We had mcmaster. We had the former ceo of exxonmobil as secretary of state. We had obviously general kelly, a fourstar who is viewed as sort of a calm force and is now viewed as either in or out at the white house. What youre having now is bringing in an individual, first of all a secretary of state who is seen as very aggressive on iran, very aggressive, the very aggressive on north korea. And now somebody as National Security adviser as extremely aggressive. Initially, 15, 20 years ago on intervention in iraq, and now as someone just mentioned now on iran and north korea. You start to get an imbalance in the executive branch in terms of overseas with a president who is very impulsive. My concern is that when the president has a bad hair day, instead of having those checks and balances from people like Rex Tillerson or h. R. Mcmaster, youre going to have people say on a bad hair day, i have worse hair. Lets go in. Lets get involved. Thats what i see happening here. April, you saw that tweet from Sarah Sanders last week flatly denying that mcmaster might be out last week. And yet they deny, deny, deny, deny. It was accurate. They called it a false story, fake news. They had been discussing for weeks how bolton could replace mcmaster. And we had been hearing that. And not only that, don, remember when she tweeted that we had heard that general kelly had had a conversation with staff to reassure people. People were very concerned about the next wave of firings. So that was just a ruse last week. This is real. And its happening. General mcmaster is leaving during the summer. But the question really lingers. Did the president understand the effectiveness or was general mcmaster as effective as he could have been because this president essentially did not read his briefings. He did not really get involved in the Intelligence Community the way the other president s had. And, you know, when you think of National Security, and i think about what john bolton said about then president barack obama, that then president barack obama was a National Security issue, youve got world leaders, particularly in europe that look at this president as a disrupter and someone who they dont know what hes about. So you have one train of thought here with john bolton. And then another train of thought thats leaving that basically was really trying to help the president a long with Rex Tillerson, what did he say today . He said this is a meanspirited town. Was it meanspirited or was this about filling his agenda . Thats the question. Ryan, listen. So mcmaster is out, right . The president s lead attorney in a russia investigation is out as well. And thats john dowd. He is the attorney who urged the president to cooperate with mueller. Here is what the former white house chief of strategist steve bannon is saying about that. Watch this. John dowd is a good man. And i think thats why essentially more aggressive attorneys got brought in that are now i think President Trumps going to war. I think its very obvious he is going to go to war on this. Going to war, ryan . Is he . I dont see why you would hire digenova unless you wanted to go on more of a war footing. Trump is obviously watching him on tv. He is watching him spin theories about the Justice Department trying to frame the president. And there is no reason to bring someone in like that who wants, you know, to start to be more conciliatory towards mueller. I would say still on the team and actually in the white house is ty cobb. And ty cobb has been on the furthest in terms of wanting to cooperate with the special counsel, wanting to get this behind them. But hes also hes also told the president that this case would probably be over by now. And that hasnt proven to be true. So that may be the clang. Obviously, dowd thought that he could not appear with digenova, they could not share the lead on this case. And thats clearly why he resigned. So, yeah, i think a war footing is coming. I think the next person will have to decide does he stay is ty cobb. Can he coexist with someone like that. But rick, dont you think this is a media war or maybe a spin war . As ryan said, spin theories . Because it appears that he has assembled a team of tv lawyers and tv spinners who are going to spin the story about how mueller is corrupt and everyone is corrupt. Isnt it more than actually what theyre going to do in the courtroom or what theyre going to do behind the scenes as attorneys . Well, the problem for the whole theory of the tv, reality tv set of lawyers is that Robert Mueller has a team of pipeswinging, kneebreaking actual prosecutors. And theyre going to chew these guys up and spit them up. Theyre going to take a joe digenova, who hasnt practiced law in quite some time, quite frankly, from what i understand, and these clown theories they have in the white house, and theyre going to gut them. Theyre going to roll them over and theyre going to spank them. This isnt even going to be a fair fight because Robert Mueller has people who actually know things and have facts and have built a case. And theyre going to try to do this and wage this war and win it on sean hannity bellowing louder than anybody else on tv. That may move the trump base. But in terms of the actual legal disposition of this case, i dont think its going to have a lot of impact at all. Bob mueller has rolled up people with great attorneys before. He has rolled up mobsters with great attorneys before. So i really dont think that this is going to be something that donald trump picking a guy because he can fight well on fox tv and scream conspiracy about the fbi, the doj and the government, the deep state . This is the trump idea that the world is Reality Television when there is actually reality outside of Reality Television. What a wordsmith you are. As youre speaking, everyone on the screen is oh, my gosh, did he really just say that . No, he is wrong. Thanks, everyone. Were going to talk about guccifer 2. 0, the hacker who took credit for stealing emails from the dnc when we come right back. The fastest samsung ever demands tmobile, the Fastest Network ever. Because fast should be fast. Right now get the new Samsung Galaxy s9 for half off. Oh theres one. A the sea cow manatees in novelty ts . Surprising. Whats come at me bro . For turning over new leaves. And we make them for every moment in every corner of the country. We are the cocacola company, and were proud to offer so much more. Another night, another tsunami of breaking news. Were learning the true identity of guccifer 2. 0, the hacker who took credit for providing wikileaks with stolen emails from the dnc directly to russian intelligence. Back with me now april ryan, ryan lizza, philip mudd and rick wilson. April and ryan, your names sort of morphed on the teleprompter. It was weird. So listen. Rick, quickly, because i want to get on to guccifer. No, phil you said rick was wrong about this . One quick moment. Were assuming the president of the United States potentially goes into an interview with mueller and takes the interview seriously. Let me give you another scenario. He walks in for an hour, walks out. Says thats all a witchhunt. Theyre all trying to come after my family. I told you from day one it was a witchhunt so i walked out because it was a game. We should not assume that the president would take an interview with mueller seriously. He may just walk out. And then he gets the tv lawyers as described, sekulow. Correct. The other guy that he just hired who is always spinning the conspiracy theories to spin that to his base to try to explain it. Thats right. And if there is an indictment of his son or soninlaw, he says i got to pardon them because as i just told you when i walked out, this was all a game from day one. Quick, quick, quick, because i want to get on to guccifer. Go ahead. The reason that could be a sound strategy is because the end game for Something Like this is probably impeachment, and thats inherently political theater. So it makes some sense. Okay. Now to guccifer. On the same day that trumps lead attorney is out, daily beast is reporting that muellers team has identified good news guccifer 2. 0, a hacker who took credit for stealing email from the dnc as a particular russian intelligence officer. Remember, it was trumps friend roger stone who admitted to being in touch with guccifer. Yes. So if this is true, is it the link the trump folks and kremlin . Ill ask you that. Rick, what do you think . Look, it has long been suspected that guccifer was not some citizen journalist as Julian Assange asserted but in fact an agents of the gru and the atp group that has done all this hacking in the u. S. The fact that its now been revealed and confirmed certainly shouldnt surprise people who are paying attention. And now it puts a whole different color on the contacts that roger stone had with russian Intelligence Officers and puts a whole different color on the fact that stone was feeding this information back up into the trump campaign. Remember, the very tight coordination between the timeline of guccifer sending this information over and trump integrating it directly into his Campaign Messaging there is a chain of communication there now that i think mr. Mueller is probably very interested in. And i think roger better consider flipping pretty hard and confessing fully. I know thats anathema to him. But he ought to consider confessing because i dont think at his age he would enjoy prison. April, what did you want to say . Oh, wow. Yeah, this just reaffirms with those in the Intelligence Community had been saying in october of 2016 when we found out that russia was indeed meddling in our elections process. These intelligence officials have been saying, look, nothing of this magnitude goes on in russia without, without the fact that putin is aware. So if this person is a russian operative doing this wikileaks stuff, putin was aware. And once again, this just reaffirms what theyre saying. And again, roger stone, we cannot reiterate. Those are the two things that stick out for me. Roger stone, so close to the president , was in touch on dm, on twitter, on direct messaging on twitter with guccifer. And that man has outed these reporters emails with the dnc as well as with john podesta and the link with putin. Two things that are really big that stand out to me there. Ryan, i want to play Something Else we heard from steve bannon today. Dana bash caught up with him and asked about the data firm connected to the trump, the data firm bannon was the Vice President at. Watch this. Did you know that Cambridge Analytica was using personal information gotten from facebook. The facebook data, by the way, is for sale all over the world. I know. But that doesnt make it right. Did you buy it . I dont remember buying it. That was the cambridge guy. But you were the cambridge guy. He doesnt remember buying data from facebook . Its sort of a nonanswer considering that we learned from whistleblower that the facebook data is at the heart of Cambridge Analytica. I guess what he is saying there is he put the company together and he didnt have sort of daytoday operational knowledge what was going on, what data they were buying. I have no idea if he was telling the truth than or not. Obviously he needs to answer the senior folks at Cambridge Analytica need to answer questions about who knew what and what happens with that data. Because we have a very, very suspicious, a lot of smoke here between bannon, Cambridge Analytica, russians, and the trump campaign. I mean, it sounds like, you know, a novel. You couldnt make this stuff up. Absolutely. Thank you. Fascinating conversation, everyone. I really appreciate it. Thanks, don. When we come back, john dowd was staunchly against the president speaking to mueller, but the president disagrees. Is dowds resignation a win for mueller . The president s top attorney handling the russia investigation calling it quits. John dowd was the point person in conversations with special counsel Robert Mueller. So what will that mean for the investigation . I want to bring in jack quinn now, who was Clinton White house counsel. Also cnn legal commentator ken cuccinelli. Gentlemen, thank you for joining us this evening. Good evening to you. Ken, the president said just two weeks ago that he was very happy with his lawyers and said reports to the contrary were false. What do you think changed . Well, he got unhappy in the last two weeks. I think we saw that this weekend with his new attack in the tweets. And i think that with the advent of that more aggressive approach with respect to mueller, that the preferred strategy of dowd is gone. And with it goes dowd himself. Yeah. In quitting, john, john dowd wrote an email to the Washington Post saying this. I love the president and i wish him well. What about the other lawyers on the team . Where does that leave ty cobb or White House Counsel Don Mcgahn . Thats for you, jay. Well, i think ty is absolutely critical now. My you know, by the way, its not clear to me. Weve had reporting that dowd was in favor of cooperation and that he was against cooperation. I certainly dont think he was mr. Softy. But be that as it may, i think that ty cobb is really key here. I think that ty with all the experience he brings to bear on this would understand that the president s options for noncooperation are limited and have enormously negative consequences should he go down that road. So well have to see how this plays out. I cant, you know, say much more about mr. Dowds leaving other than it might have been difficult for him to, you know, in his view, work with joe digenova. Ill also say, though, joes prominence here and particularly the prominence of his conspiracy theories, its going to make it even more difficult than it appears to have been for the white house to bring in other more experienced people and whose experience, by the way, is more current than is joes to help them in their defense here. Well, that said, ken, let me ask you about this. Cnn is learning that at least four high profile Defense Attorneys have been approached to join trumps legal team. All of them have declined for various reasons. One, which was the president was that the president doesnt actually have a great record on actually listening to his lawyers. How hard do you think kit be to find someone who can replace dowd . Well, its hard and it isnt hard. I mean a lot of lawyers would be very happy to put up with a lot of malarkey to quote the former Vice President to be the president s lawyer. And thats a hell of an item on your resume. And everyone will know it. Of course, its also good to be able to exercise a strategy you believe is in the clients best interests. And President Trump wants to keep control of these things like he does most Everything Else in his administration at one point or another. And as odd as it may sound, while clients decide and lawyers merely advise, when you hire good lawyers, you hire them to take their advice. So what are you saying . Who would want donald trump as a client . Is that what youre saying . Because if you can find a lawyer in washington . Im saying its a high risk, high reward. Theyre way up the risk reward curve in terms of getting into this. But its also going to be a big pain. Go ahead, it is a big pain. And, look is there really a reward too . Look, the first round draft picks are saying no thanks. Thats pretty clear. And, you know, the president needs to have good counsel here. Because this is obviously a deadly serious investigation. So i dont know where it goes, but its worrisome that hes, you know, going to be in search of competent, capable counsel who has experience in this area at this late date in the process. Because we are i think approaching a crunch point. The story you had on a little while ago about guccifer and the things coming together on the hacking of the emails, this plays right into the conspiracy that has already been the subject of mr. Muellers indictments relating to the social media invasion of the russian government was behind. Right. All of this is coming together. And were getting down the point where the 64,000 question is were there any americans involved in that russian conspiracy. Hey, ken, would you take the job if offered, if asked . Would i take the job . Um, well, i wouldnt be asked. That wasnt the question. I havent for a very long time. Thats not the question. Would you take the job . Well, look, to jacks point, ty cobb has become more chips are landing on his plate here in terms of the importance of his strategic guidance than has been the case up to this point. And we havent heard a whole lot publicly about his role. And that suggests to me that he is doing a good job and doing his job well. Lawyers arent supposed to be in the limelight, although you can have a front person. You say that. I know youre dodging. Its fine. Ken, i love you, but youre dodging. And you said lawyers arent supposed to be in the spotlight. Hes hired jay sekulow is on television all the time. Who is the new guy . I forget his name. Digenova. He is on television all the time. What do you mean lawyers are supposed to be in the background . These guys are out front. And you didnt answer my question. Would you take the job, not that they wouldnt ask you, but would you do it . No, theyd be crazy to ask me. Im a constitutional lawyer. Im an appellate lawyer. So no . You wouldnt take the job . Im not the person to be in that role. You wouldnt take the job . Id want him to have a good lawyer. You wouldnt take the job. And by that i mean someone with the experience that is relevant. And as you pointed out, look, theyre talking to people who are longtime criminal defense lawyers. Im not a longtime criminal defense lawyer. Ive got to go. Were wasting time. Thank you, sir. Thank you both of you. So he is saying he wouldnt take the job, in other words. Okay. When we come back, Karen Mcdougal will be telling the intimate details of her alleged affair with donald trump. Former playboy playmate Karen Mcdougal shares intimate details about her relationship with donald trump. And some of those details might sound remarkably similar to the ones shared by Stormy Daniels. I want to bring in now cnn political commentator Tara Setmayer and Alice Stewart and laura coates, a former federal prosecutor. So everyone, brief answer, please because i have a lot of sound bites i want to get to and i want to cover a lot of ground here. Tara, there is a lot to unpack in andersons exclusive interview with Karen Mcdougal. Lets start by watching this clip, and then well discuss. Our first date, i was told we were going to go to the Beverly Hills hotel for dinner. So he had told me that keith, his bodyguard was going to pick me up at a certain time, and he did. And then we were driving over to the Beverly Hills hotel. And keith drove around to the back, and he said we have to get out here because we dont want to walk through the hotel. And at that minute, im like thinking to myself, are we going to a room . Because i thought we were having dinner at the Beverly Hills hotel. In the actual restaurant. Right. Well, we did have actual dinner at the Beverly Hills hotel, but in his bungalow instead. We had dinner there for a few hours. We talked for a few hours. We had a great time. We were getting to know each other. We were talking about his birthday. And as the night ended, we we were intimate. You know, i have to say very compelling. Sounds like Stormy Daniels first date, allegedly. Its very similar. She is credible, to me, at least. But watching this, it made my stomach turn. Why . Because. It upsets me that we as a country, especially women, were willing to cast aside all of these things that we knew about donald trump beforehand and still reward this man with the office of the presidency. I just think it says a lot about us. Why is that . Why did women do it . Well, i think thats a much larger discussion. But i think that women really need to that continue to support him and make excuses for this kind of behavior, a man that is such a womanizer, that would humiliate his wife this way, disgrace his family this way, i dont care if he was a private citizen. That stuff carries. Character matters and it carries over into how you govern. I disagree people who think thats not true. Okay, alice, another clip from the a interview. Here it is. You said you went to a Golf Tournament in tahoe. I did. There are other women now who have come forward who said they also had met with him and had sex with him at that event. Were you aware of any other women . No, i was not. I mean, i was with him a lot. So i didnt see anything. But could he have stayed a day longer than me . Sure. So alice, its crazy to think that trump could have been with both Stormy Daniels and Karen Mcdougal at the same lake tahoe golf event. It really brings it full circle, doesnt it . Its disgusting. And if this is true, which i believe it, then he is a pig and his behavior is despicable. But really, looking at that interview, its really hard to feel sympathy for a woman who knowingly has an fair with a married man. And in turn, bad things happen to people who do bad things. And when you lie in bed with dog you get fleas. And thats exactly whats happening here. Im not excusing his behavior. I think it is reprehensible. I think there are going to be many, many more of these stories coming out. But its hard to feel sympathy for someone who knowingly walked into a relationship with a married man. And i think i would like to think as more of these come out, more people will look at the president for the kind of person that he is, and there are going to be some consequences. Let me ask you that. Using your analogy, because you said when you lie down with dogs you get fleas. The dog in this particular situation became the president of the United States. And to taras point, a lot of people, and im a christian. I know that youre a christian as well, alice, a lot of people look the other way, especially christians and said oh, this is okay. And women and they voted for him. And i dont know how you reconcile that. I never said it was okay. No christians that ive spoken with have ever said it was okay. And recently theyve said he gets a mulligan on one of these. But there are many of them. Ive never said this is okay, this disgusting, despicable behavior. I voted for him for one reason and one reason only, who could for a Supreme Court justice that would be like scalia and who would support the issues im concerned with. I never thought he would build a wall and mexico would pay for it. I never thought he would do a lot of the things he said he would do. I worked my butt off for someone i thought would bring credibility to the white house. It didnt work out that way. When it came down to the end of the day, i felt he would support more of my policies than hillary clinton. A lot of these evangelicals continue to make excuses, including major pastors. Shame on them. Theyre going to have to answer for that. Theyre responsible for flocks. And there is nothing that justifies this in the bible. I dont care. I dont want to hear that he is cyrus or any of that nonsense. You to be able to repent. Donald trump hasnt done any of that. He flaunts it. Laura, the similarities between Stormy Daniels and Karen Mcdougals story bolster their credibility, you think . Well, they are similar in the sense they both have alleged had a sexual encounter with the president of the United States when he was a citizen. Here is the thing about this. The irony of it. The underlying truth whether it happened or not doesnt matter to the courts. Its not any more importance to the court of law because its about whether or not these women can talk about these allegations. And they have a similarity between Stormy Daniels and now Karen Mcdougal where they both have contracts with different people albeit, but still contracts are limiting their behavior and limiting their ability to actually talk about these issues. So the idea that maybe its a forgone conclusion that he is all the things you all have described today, or that morality was somehow an issue in the president ial election or should have been is really not at the courts concern. What is whether or not you had a contract. And it seems to me by her statements that she was fully satisfied by the contractual terms if she had gotten more articles say an okay magazine or another magazine and been able to promote her model and fitness career at an older age. Now she is learning from the media and the press according to her statements about why there may be some reason she can void the contract. But by her own admissions and what the court is going looking too at is at the time and what she actually knows, not the innuendos about who may be involved, she was satisfied. And the courts do not second guess. Laura, isnt it similar to what Stormy Daniels attorney said that Stormy Daniels was promised these other things within the nda, and those things didnt happen. So therefore thats one reason it should be voided. Isnt she saying the same thing, that this company promised her certain things and they did not deliver on them . They had the same attorney. Thats what Karen Mcdougal is saying, that there were other terms, in addition to the financial payment that she would be able to. And mind you, her statement was she was very satisfied to have her story not in the press. She wanted it to be caught and killed. She didnt want to reveal that part of herself. She felt ashamed. She felt some guilt having been involved with a married man and wanted to silence that aspect of it. Her concern is the contractual issue about whether or not the other employment terms were actually met. But she also said someone had leaked the story, not to her knowledge. She didnt want it out there. She said if other people were and im paraphrasing here, profiting off of her story, then she may as well have control over it, not necessarily to profit after it so, she can at least be in charge of her own story. Yeah. Whats wrong with that . She wants to get ahead of the narrative. She wants to be able to control the way she is described, she wants to be able to control how she is characterized. Thats all fair. However, she contracted in an issue. Got it. About who could tell that story. Now Stormy Daniels is different. What she is saying not whether or not they were all the other terms about stories or being able to have a fitness career, variety of things promoted in the different publications. Her issue is it was void to begin with because it wasnt signed. Got it. If thats not the issue, Michael Cohen voided it. Well talk more. Ive got to get a break. But also, what Karen Mcdougal said about what donald trump told her about ivanka. Well be right back. Hope you understood that. The fastest samsung ever demands tmobile, the Fastest Network ever. Back with our panel now. Alice, here is another similarity with mcdougals interview which sounded like Stormy Daniels. Did he compare to you any of his kids . You know, he he is very proud of ivanka. As he should be. She is a brilliant woman, she is beautiful. She is, you know, thats his daughter and he should be proud of her. He said, i was beautiful like her. And you know youre a smart girl. And there wasnt a lot of comparing but there was some yeah. I heard a lot about her, yeah. So does that strike you as a bit weird . Yeah. It does. And you know, he said some other things about ivanka that a lot of fathers wouldnt say about their daughters. But they have a close relationship. They are have been through a lot together. And this is nothing new. But for mcdougal to go on there and try to ingratiate herself with the American Public that she meant so much to him. I have little sympathy for her. Listen this is so creepy. Can we remind people what he said about his daughter. He made comments about her on howard stern disgusting sexual in nature. He said that talking about her chest size, about how she is a ten. Thats creepy. Didnt he say on the view i would be dating my daughter. Yes, he said that. If she wasnt his daughter he would date her. I dont know any father that makes comments like that even if their daughters were supermodels. Its creepy and disgusting. There is another comparison but i wont make it because its weird. Lets talk about how this affects the first lady, the First Lady Melania Trump for the first time in a while she put out a photo of herself and the president today. How do you think she is doing with all of this . I mean, laura this isnt a legal issue. But you can relate. Well, not to being married to donald trump or a man like him, don that is true. But i can relate as a woman who is looking at this and probably seeing a woman totally and utterly humiliated by the entire process. And it wont stop any time soon as the drip, drip of women come forward with the nd as and accusations that may or may not be true. For her its a continual gut punch she has to get over if she has a relationship with the president of the United States. She knew what she was marrying. This is a sham. That picture did you see the body language. They werent even holding hands. Its forced. Because i mean do people really think that they have a a normal functioning relationship . Its clearly dysfunctional. But she knew what she was marrying when she married donald trump. He wasnt any auchlds he became this fill andreaering womanizer. For all with we know. She made the choice. There could be some sort of understanding. What people do in marriages thats their thing. But its a different thing to be humiliated publicly for everyone to know publicly. And the same day, you know she puts out the photo we see this one from andersons interview actually mcdougal not far from the president , melania and ivanka, apology or not this has to be salt in the wounds for this first lady. Probably why she is not happy about being in the white house because now their lives with exposed . You think she didnt know about this . She knew. Thats why its humiliating. Anderson asked if she had a message for the first lady. Listen. Listen. If Melania Trump was watching this . What would you want her to know . Thats a tough one. Or say to her. Yeah, what can you say, except, im sorry. Im sorry. I wouldnt want it done to me. Im sorry. Well, i mean, alice unfortunately Melania Trump is facing the Stormy Daniels interview on sunday. If you dont want it done to you then dont do it to somebody else. Save the crocodile tears for somebody who cares. Its despicable for somebody to try to get sympathy. Melania knew what she was getting into. She knew what she was getting into. Ill say this as a woman, it breaks my heart to see her go through this. In the time she has had to be the first lady and be the wife of the president of the United States she has displayed dignity. She has displayed grace under intense pressure and unbearable situation. That being said, she knew exactly what she was getting into. Injury though Karen Mcdougal said she is a new person, this was a long time ago a person of the faith and goes to church. So as cliftons im assuming she is asking for forgiveness we should forgive her and not accuse her of it. She feels guilt and should. If people are willing to give trump a mulligan. Why shouldnt we forgive mcdougal for admitting she has regret over it. I think you have to be consistent, though. I really dont think religion has a big role in the discussion frankly. If youre critical of people giving the president a mulligan and yet youre receptive of the idea of Karen Mcdougal i think its inconsistent. The notion that she says she is sorry but doesnt want the story out there. She has dunned undermine the contract. Got to go. Facing legal issues here. Laura, thats the first time youve come through the camera and almost slapped me. I cant relate to that. My husband almost did too. Im wearing a church girl outfit.
