Joe. We are hearing about turmoil in the Transition Team behind the scenes. What is the latest . Reporter theres been a lot of it. I have to say one week after an election, especially after a tumultuous election like this, quite frankly, don, it is not all that surprising. We have seen it before. A number of things happened today, probably the headline on all of it is that the second high profile republican establishment figure, mike rogers, the former House Intelligence Committee chairman, is now out. He was seen as reassuring figure to many republicans, especially on issues of National Security, and was thought as on the short list for cia director. Hes gone. Of course, he was hired by Chris Christie, who as well was demoted. So the question is why, what is going on with the transition. The story they certainly want to put out is this is all about a blending of the Campaign Staff that traveled around the country with donald trump and the transition staff that was put in place to figure out what was going to happen in the event he won, but there is also a question as to whether all of this is part of a purge in the continuing fight, the back biting between the establishment figures who work with donald trump and the nontraditional figures, the insiders and the outsiders. Of course, they say, no, it is not a purge. Coming in the middle of all of this today, the Vice President elect mike pence to try to calm the waters. Reports, of course, that the only purge that he wanted to preside over was getting rid of the lobbyists, which essentially would be a Campaign Promise for donald trump, don. Joe, multiple sources are telling cnn that Jared Kushner, Donald Trumps soninlaw, at the center of all of the in fighting. What can you tell us . Yeah, he is reported to be at the center of all of the infighting. Hes also a close associate certainly of donald trump. Hes been called his fixer among other things. Hes been called his righthand man. As we all know, fixers dont always get props for being polite. But there are issues with kushner that have to be examined and probably chief among them is the fact that he has a history with Chris Christie. In fact, his father, charles kushner, was prosecuted by Chris Christie in 2004 and eventually ended up pleading guilty. So a question of bad blood there, certainly the Campaign Says no, it is not that at all. Theyre just trying to get their ducks in a row. Still, the suggestion is here at trump tower that the transition has stalled just a bit. They say it is only a matter of time before they get moving. Joe johns, much appreciate it. Want to bring in mark preston, cnn politics executive editor and william cohen, author of the price of silence. Mark you first, i want to ask about Donald Trumps Transition Team. Chris christie out friday, mike rogers out tonight. What are you hearing . A couple of things. Theres talk of infighting right now, which is expected during transition. We have Power Centers to be aware of. One is you have steve bannon, somebody considered the general behind Donald Trumps basically reviving his campaign and going on to win it. You have reince priebus, put in as chief of staff, somebody who is wellregarded on capitol hill, has the ears and support of the Republican Leadership up there. As you were talking with joe, you have Jared Kushner right now who is, you know, somebody who is very well respected by donald trump and somebody who he leans on. Now, add to the mix right now mike pence, somebody who knows washington very well, and you will get a little bit of friction, don, when you have all of these folks coming together. Now, we are told by a highranking person within the Trump Campaign that a lot of this is being miss character iced and the fact is that they are getting along and they are very organized and this is what you would expect during a transition. Well, the highest person in the campaign is donald trump, and he is tweeting this out tonight. He said about the transition, very organized process taking place, as i decide on cabinet and many other positions. Im the only one who knows who the finalists are here. Hes denying there is conflict and that Jared Kushner his soninlaw is behind it. Right, a couple of things. Not too surprising donald trump would do that, and there is truth in what he said because with donald trump were always, always wondering what his next move is going to be. So his final decision is going to be where he decides to put people in the cabinet. Again, he probably is the only person who knows it. Now, there are those in the inner circle helping to make the decisions, but it will be up to donald trump. I have to ask you this because it is new reporting just in to cnn mark, and it is a source with knowledge that says Jared Kushner could end up with a Top National Security clearance as a key adviser to his fatherinlaw, which is expected for him. The sources said that likely that it is likely, but has not happened yet. What do you make of that . Right. So a source of harper and right now for the Trump Campaign, it is a story that has developed over the past day or so. What we are told is there was a transition worker who actually inquired about this, was not authorized to do so. Inquired about the top security clearance, but was not required to do so. Donald trump did not ask them to do so. Now, the reporting were seeing from gloria borg and jim acosta is Jared Kushner who is married to ivanka trump could perhaps get top security clearance. We will see what happens in the ensuing weeks and months. But once donald trump is president , fairly certain, don, he can decide who gets it and who doesnt get it. What do you make of this, william . Also of course we know he has asked for security clearance for his three children and, you know, Jared Kushner is, of course, married to ivanka. Ivanka and don jr. And eric are supposedly going to be running his business. Theyre also going to get National Security clearance, top secret security clearance at the same time theyre running his business . That is troublesome. What about potential conflicts of interest because his children are supposed to be running his businesses, and if they have that information isnt it a conflict of interest . I would think so. I mean donald trump has business interests all around the world and hes going to have information about his about countries all over the world, and his children are now going to have access to that at the same time theyre running his business. That is a clear potential conflict of interest. When you hear about people like Rudy Giuliani who, you know, by many accounts has not exhibited the best behavior over the past couple of months, being considered. So listen, he had a great legacy with 9 11, but if you speak to anyone they say theres a different Rudy Giuliani now, and the Rudy Giuliani were seeing is not the one who, you know, post 9 11. Right. So then are you concerned . What do you make of that . Well, for Rudy Giuliani to be seriously considered as secretary of state, which is the striel balloon thats being floated i mean if he were to be seriously considered for attorney general, i could understand that. He was u. S. Attorney in the Southern District of new york, mayor of new york, a prosecutor by nature, a prosecutor by interest, and, you know, by temperament. But secretary of state . A diplomat . I dont find Rudy Giuliani particularly diplomatic or knowledgeable about world affairs. I think it would be a big mistake. Mark, what are the rules for a president when it comes to potential conflicts when were talking about the business interests and getting Top National Security clearance for his children who potentially will be running his business . Dons, the rules are there are no rules for the president or Vice President. Let me read you a little bit about kind of where we stand right now and what is required of the president. The u. S. Conflict of interest statute prohibits officials of the executive branch from Holding Assets that would conflict with their official duties except congress is exempted the president and Vice President from those rules, as well as the president and Vice President are exempt from earning income from their businesses as they hold office. They are exempt, again, from what other federal officials are required to abide by. Now, having said that, donald trump says his children are going to run the businesses. Well see what exactly happens, but of course theres going to be an incredible amount of scrutiny over any decision that donald trump makes and how it could affect his businesses. How do you square that, william . Because wasnt that something that they really railed against Hillary Clinton for, potential conflicts of interest with the Clinton Foundation . Look, mark is absolutely right. Donald trump as president of the United States does not have to put his assets into a blind trust and for it to be a real blind trust anyway he would have to sell everything, turn it into cash and hire an independent trustee to manage that cash. If he keeps it as businesses and his Hotel Properties and real estate properties, which of course he would, then theres no such thing as a blind trust because, first of all, it is not required and we know that donald likes to do things up to the letter of the law. You know, if theres no raw requiring it, he wont do it. He didnt have to release his tax returns and he didnt release them and everybody ended up being okay with that i guess. And hes not going to put these his business into a blind truts. He said hes doing what he said he was going to do. In the middle of the campaign he said his children were going to run the business, and thats exactly what seems to be happen. Even the space for the new International Hotel in d. C. Which trump and his family opened is leased to trump from the federal government, he is leasing space from the federal government which he will now lead. How is this going to be untangled . Well, it is not going to be untangled. The fact is hes the leasy and the leaser in many ways because hes the one that appoints, you know, the head of the organization, the department that oversees it. Now, having said that, i mean, look, theres a lease in place. Im not really quite sure what he could do or what he would do as president that would give favorable terms to the lease. I mean is he going to ask for the lease to be broken . Is he going to try to sue the leaser, which is basically suing himself . It is untangled, but i would say this. For all of our discussion about donald trump and the tanglement of his businesses, there will be so much scrutiny on donald trump as president and what he does with his businesses, hes not going to be able to make a move without us knowing what he does. William, go ahead. And he said on 60 minutes, you know, hes done worrying about his business. He has bigger things to worry about now and, you know, lets take him at his word at the moment. Also on 60 minutes ivanka trump came under fire after she wore a gold bracelet during the familys 60 minutes interview, her Fashion Company sent out an email showing her wearing the 10,000 bracelet and asked recipients to share it with their clients, apparently trying to profit on the appearance. It is simple but a poignant example. Of poor judgment. She shouldnt have done that. Whether she knew it was being done by her person or not, she should not have done it. Do you think they care . I dont think they care. She did it during the campaign. Main maybe it was one thing. Now her president is p president elect of the United States, she should not be doing that. Up next, a spike in hate crime since Donald Trumps election. I will talk to a u. S. And in dallas africanamerican veteran Ernest Walker denld a free meal at chilis on veterans day after a man wearing a trump shirt questioned whether he truly served, allegedly he served in germany and they didnt let blacks serve there. The manager took the Trump Supporters side. Oh, no, now you grabbing my food away from me . Youre taking my food away from me now. Taking away walkers meal even after he showed his military credentials for him and his service dog. Chilis issued a lengthy apology to mr. Walker, thanked him for his service and saying the chilis manager was removed. The Antidefamation League that tracks antisemitism in new york says there have been five incidents of antisemitism. They say these acts are meant to breed fear and fuel an zie i the. Non miguel, thank you very much. Joining me is Ernest Walker and his attorney kim t. Cole. Thank you for joining me. Mr. Walker, to you first. First of all, thank you so much for your service. Thank you. I appreciate it. We just heard a little bit about what happened to you at chilis on veterans day. Explain your interaction with a trump supporter there. Well, first of all, he really made me feel like i was almost like a slave who had to show paperwork to show my freedom. You know, i do believe that i was singled out as a black man in that restaurant, and if it were not for the past temperature of the nation of this election, you know, i dont think he would be as em boldened to approach me in the manner he did and just outright label me as a black man trying to steal food. Had anything like that ever happened to you before this election . No, no, no. I mean ive had, you know, racism, but just to be as bold as he was, he felt like he had the right to do this to me, and the manager participated in that. Yeah. And that was thats the concern, that somehow this election has emboldened or given bigotry a platform and normalized it. I know you started filming on your cellphone. Lets watch and then well discuss. Now you question my military service and you question my service dog. If you didnt see it the food today, sir. Now youre grabbing my food away from me . Youre taking my food away from me now. Im so sorry. You didnt provide documents for me. Yes, i did provide documents to you and they saw you. I want the Police Called at this point. So, mr. Walker, did police come . Yes, they did. What happened . Well, obviously the officer spoke with the manager, but, you know, i tried to tell him that i need to file charges, but he, you know, refused to do so because, you know, i had been assaulted. You know, i told him that i felt like, you know, the president of the United States who had to produce his birth certificate. My dd14 is my birth certificate from the military. Yeah. To be clear, you provided documentation that you are a veteran and that you had a service dog. Was your dog wearing a vest . Yes, he was. He was wearing a service dog vest and i provided other id as well. Do you know what happened to the man who originally questioned whether you were a veteran . I have no idea. You know, sometimes, you know, when youre emboldened to treat people that way and you find out youre wrong, you tend to be, you know, cowardice and run away. I have no idea. I know that the company said that the manager was, you know, removed. That does not mean fired. So im not sure. Yeah, the manager was, i think, hes been removed but not necessarily fired. Let me read this. This is a statement that reads in part, this is from kmilys, and i want to get your response to this, ms. Cole. It says last week mr. Walker, a veteran, came into our restaurant to participate in our chilis Program Honoring veterans and active military with a free male. Unfortunately, he was not treated in a manner our veterans deserve. On a day where we serve more than 200,000 free meals as a small gesture of appreciation for our veterans and active military members, we fell short. What more is chilis doing for mr. Walker, if anything . At this point we are still in discussions with brinker international, the Parent Company of chilis. They have spoken directly with mr. Walker via telephone and expressed their sincere apology for the incident that occurred, and were working together to reach a resolution. Why do you think this happened to him . Why do you think he was asked for his id . Because hes a black man. This is evident of a horrific trend that is sweeping the country right now. There is youve shown instances of racism and all kinds of hatred all across the country, and this is indicative of a much larger problem that were facing here. You think it is a direct result of the election . I think it is a direct result of the the people who were motivated and emboldened by this entire campaign. This campaign was run on hate and bigotry, and it it inspired a lot of people to hate. Uhhuh. Mr. Walker, your service dog has an interesting name. Tell us about that. Well, actually, im glad you brought that up. He didnt like my dogs name. I told him my dogs name was barack, and, you know, he really didnt like that at all. The trump supporter or the manager . The trump supporter. You know, hes the gentleman that came by and rubbed my dog and he asked the name of it. I said barack, and, you know, at that point he didnt seem too happy about that. As a member of the military, donald trump will soon be your commanderinchief. What do you say to him . Well, im not a member of the military anymore, but we fleed to stop the hatred and he needs to retract a lot of things that he said and try to bring down the temperature of this country before we are looking like some third world country. Thank you, mr. Walker. Thank you, ms. Cole. Youre welcome. Thank you. Thank you. Again, thank you for your service. Straight ahead, why are em feeling emboldened to commit acts of disrespect and worse. More on that next. A spike in hate speech and crime since the election last week, and here to discuss is jack kingston, former republican congressman who is former Senior Advisor to Trump Campaign. Symone sanders, former press secretary for bernie sanders, and psychologist wendy walsh. Thank you and lets discuss this and hopefully have a conversation to help people get through this. So, wendy, why do you think people feel emboldened in some instances now to commit these acts . Explain what is at play here. Well, i think two things. Social media has made this safe space for people to express things that are completely disrespectful, and in many ways egregious. So theyve now become accustomed to being trolls online, and so they figure they can do it if real life. But, don, you have to remember that all anger is a mask for fear, and theres a great deal of fear on both sides right now, whether it is fear that somebody you dont trust has their hands on the Nuclear Codes or whether it is fear that theres been so much social change, guy rights, rights for women, trans rights, the black lives matter movement. That feels destabilizing to some people, and theyre fear. But if we can all get past the fear and understand that we need to get along with our brothers and sisters here, were one country and were allamericans now. Yeah, and theres a lot of work to do, but this campaign was so divisive. Oh, yeah. Im wondering, is it a mob mentality . What drives separate individuals across the country in a bunch of different scenarios to act out . Well, i do think that it is a mob mentality and it was started on the internet with peoples social media. That tends to be very insular, but it helps them find likeminded people. But, again, plenty of these people would never say the things that they type. They would never say them in real life to somebodys face. It gives people this power when they get near a keyboard. Yeah. How much of this behavior you believe, and violence, that you believe, that you think is directly related to Donald Trumps rhetoric on the campaign trail . Is there a direct connection . Can a connection be drawn . I think both candidates were forced into a swampy place, shall we say, as it continued one after another. And i personally believe there was a lot of internetized misogyny by women, a lot of sexism by other people, and that we got to this place where it was just a lot of finger pointed instead of talking about the issues. But, yeah, it had to do with both campaigns and how ugly they got. Representative kingston, the president elect did tell people to, quote, stop it on sunday night, but Rudy Giuliani in the running for attorney general or secretary of state or some position in the Trump Administration said this. Told people to stop doing what theyre doing. He has no more control over them than president obama or Hillary Clinton have over the goons and thugs that are in my city that are destroying property, that are taking over streets, and that are yelling and screaming at donald trump. Representative kingston, goons and thugs, really . Is that language helpful . Well, i dont know if it is helpful, but i dont think it is as harmful. It doesnt justify 71 people getting arrested in portland and it doesnt justify the ceo of a company to threaten to kill president elect trump. I think it was called a packet sled, the ceo threatened to kill donald trump and then, of course, the ceo of grub hub threatened to fire all of the Trump Supporters. So i think wendy is right. I mean, you know, you can find plenty on both sides. I do think donald trump has exercised the right tone. I think Hillary Clinton has as well. I think barack obama has as well. Maybe from the three of those National Leaders we need to hear more of that toning down, you know. I think i appreciate that, representative kingston, but my question was goons and thugs by a member someone who is being considered as a member of the Trump Administration, does language like that help at this time, especially calm a nation that is quite clearly divided . That was my question. Well, i think mayor guilliani is speaking for himself and the frustration he feels in his own city when people are blocking the roads and keeping people who are taxpayers from going to work, and in many cases tearing up property. Although i would say that the vandalism in new york city i believe has been a lot less than it has in california or in portland, but, you know, i think hes speaking out of some frustration. But, remember, the important thing is donald trump is not he is speaking in very careful tones. I think his speech wednesday morning was perfect. His acceptance with hillary, his meeting with barack obama, his message on National Television to stop it, did not do these crimes in his name, i think was right. But i think theres some crimes on the other side that are happening as well that people should denounce. You know, frankly, i think to quote barack obama, this could be a great teachable moment for all of america. That, you know, what . This just isnt the way we do things. Lets come together, lets talk. I think, don, that your shows have been good on that. You know, symone and i in the green room, we are friends. We dont get along politically on every single issue but, you know, we believe in the civil discourse that you have allowed us to have. Thats because were normal, congress minnesota. Y but what happened in america is not normal, and we cant normalize this. I am horrified. On the Internet Troll and the internet bullies have been emboldened. People in publ wr emboldened. A friend of mine told me last week she was on the train and the white people got on the train and told her, arent you supposed to be in the back. Everyone on the train was horrified. This is not happening everywhere, but it is happening more often than not. It is something we have to address. I think somebody that president elect trump could do is use those twitter fingers. He came out to everybody else and he always has a comment. We just heard him we just saw him talking about his cabinet and his selections and his aprese apprentice like process on twitter. Maybe he should use it to reach out to the folks he was talking about on 60 minutes. Perhaps he could address nation. He should take this a little more seriously. Congressman, hold the thought and i will let you be the first one to speak on the other side of the break. A mayor of the city calling the current first lady, michelle obama, an ape in heels. Well discuss that as well when we come back. Who says i shouldnt have a soda everyday . My doctor. My dentist. Definitely my wife. Wait, i know what i want. Make sparkling water at home. And drink 43 more water every day. Sodastream. Love your water. Back now with my panel, representative kingston i wanted to give you the first word. Symone sanders was saying that the president elect should speak out and maybe use twitter as he so often does. I think he has spoken out. I find it ironic that this wave of crime that were seeing on both sides again, 71 arrests in portland. The republican headquarters in North Carolina being attacked during the campaign, proof that democrat operatives were purposely disrupting trump protest, and, you know, stories like these two kids from Northwestern University who were caught painting the swastika and pretending to be trump people. Later found out it wasnt true. Or the student at louisiana that said two white men beat her up and that story fell apart once she started getting crossexamined. You know, all of this is relevant to the discussion. We cant just say, oh, all of this surge in hate crime when some of it does not appear to be authentic. Maybe it is a small percentage, but it is a disturbing percentage to me because i want to know how authentic this stuff is. I agree with symone and wend ee people who are perpetrating and breaking the law should be arrest, regardless of affiliation. Congressman kingston and america, as an africanamerican woman in america i dont have the luxury to see if something is authenticated because someone is going to walk down the street and call me the n word. Someone is going to tell me i dont belong. People are constantly telling me to get out of this country, take my baboon and gorilla and things i cannot say on National Television. And someone who went through integrated schools all my life. This is happening. And on the front end. One at a time, please. And i know it is not the congressman, but it is people that are in our networks. People that we go to school with, people we work with. People who donald trump is putting in the white house with steve bannon. So we have to not only talk about this, but we have to give real solutions. We cannot normalize this. The last thing i want to say, a protest and a hate crime is not the same things. Violence should not be acceptable on other side, but hate crimes are real. We cannot normalize hate crimes in america. They are happening. Let wendy get in. I want to under score what im hearing here from the former representative is he is finger pointing still again instead of lets get underneath it. Lets figure out what is causing the problem and lets find solutions to it. Instead of saying, well, that side is doing it and that side is doing it. Thats not true, wendy. You are sort of saying. You misunderstood me. Im really sorry because what i said is it is going on both sides. And it comes from the stop. And i carefully outlined and it comes from the stop. And then you start out by saying. When you one at a time, please. Thats why it is hard to have discussion. Congressman, let her finish and i will let her respond. Let her get her thought out. Go ahead, wendy. When you understand we have been through such a Divisive Campaign where we had trolls running for president. When we had people that should be our role models and in some ways we couldnt even hear candidate clinton above the fray and we didnt hear anybody talk about the issues. So Many Americans thought that was the way is okay. We dont have these role models. We really need to have good leaders now. If we have president elect trump, then i agree we need him to get on his twitter with his thumbs and start telling people in america that we need to express love for each other. Congressman. Don, let me again say that the only candidate who has said stop to anybody doing that in my name is donald trump. Hillary clinton has not. Now, she set a good tone but she has not spoken to her supporters about this. Again, let me just make sure that people understand. The 71 people who were arrested in portland werent just for walking down the street. The people who were blocking roads and vandalizing police cars in california, they were arrested for reasons of breaking the law. The woman in louisiana who claimed two white men beat her up and later it was found out that was not the case you made that point, congressman. We need to move on. The reason i say that is to outline that, you know, friends, we have stuff going on both sides of the aisle and both names of candidates, if you will, or both sides and i think we should say this is happening and we have tie dress it. To wendys point everyone points at each side i do understand what wendy is saying to you. Does it matter, stop pointing fingers, and it is incumbent on the person who in many peoples estimation, who started a lot of this because of the rhetoric on the campaign trail. I want to get to this one point. You mean i want to get to this point. Theres a county employee and the mayor of clay, west virginia. Theyre out of jobs at the employee wrote on facebook, it will be refreshing to have a classy, dignified first lady in the white house, im tired of seeing an april in heels. The mayor commented, just made my day, pam. Could it shed light on how much racism out there and show when it becomes public there are consequences as there have been for these women. Wendy, first. First of all, don, you know me personally and how much that hurts. I have two daughters who are multiracial and if anybody said that about them it would be a knife into my heart. I think that this kind of discourse should not be okay in facebook, on twitter, in person, and we should understand that we all have so much more in common than not. We are all brothers and sisters here in one family, and we have been led by a media thats going two different directions. If you look at two different peoples facebook feeds, one who leans right and one who leans left, you would think youre in two different countries. We need to clean it up and come back to the table and maybe use theks week thanksgiving dinner to come back to the table. Im out of time. Congressman, you know youre on all the time. As we just heraard from your otr guests it is a very challenging time. But i am very hopeful, quite frankly, that we will come around as a nation, but weve got a lot of work to do in a short period of time. Tom, Rudy Giuliani was in washington today speaking at the wall street jernl ceo counsel, the topic of antitrump protesters came up and here is what he said. He told people to stop doing what theyre doing. He has no more control over them than president obama or Hillary Clinton have over the goons and thugs that are in my city, that are destroying property, that are taking over streets, and that are yelling and screaming at donald trump. Tom . I didnt really rudy was claiming it was his city. I thought he was finished. Look, people are upset. People feel disenfranchise it. They feel that 50 of the country feels their voice was not heard because their candidate did not win. I have no problem with protesters. I have dealt with hundreds of protesters throughout my career. I have to disagree with you. I dont think people are upset because their candidate lost. People have dealt with that before. I think people are upset because of the tone of the campaign. I think people are afraid that some of the things that were said during the campaign might actually happen, you know, and marginalized people, theyre in fear. You have some people who clearly wanted Hillary Clinton to win. Yeah. Regardless of, you know, whatever her issues were, and they felt she would be best to step into the office tomorrow based on her experience. They just didnt feel comfortable with donald trump, whose integrity was also called into question. You have that group, and then you have the people who are worried about all of the things that he said and the very volatile campaign. When you pick someone like mike pence, who you were talking about earlier with the lgbt issues, here is someone with a record of going against, legislating against Lgbt Community in his own state. The fear there is that will be his agenda nationwide. Theres a lot of Different Things coming into play. Cedric, as an observer of this and someone who paid close attention and we discussed it, the protesters that are out there, many of them are critical of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party as well. Thats why im not so sure this is about left versus right. Well, you know, don, it is about a lot of things that have gone on in this country for a long period of time, and clearly there were and continues to be a population of people out there that feel that they were not being heard. You have a candidate like donald trump comes along and somehow he wakes up what appears to be a sleeping giant, along with the fact that your democratic candidate, who had her own issues that were of concern to a lot of american people, i just think there are a variety of reasons why the election went the way that it did. But here is the bigger thing, don. I think we have to be we have to know to be concerned about, and that is how were going to move this country forward. We have a new president elect, thats the end of it. We have a new one. Whether we agree with it or not, there will be those that will and will not, but at this point we are seeing in this nation a continued separation among different groups of people, and we are the president elect i should say, is going to have the awesome responsibility of getting his own trust, developing his own trust and legitimacy with a large number of people out there, people who feel very much disenfranchised. We have to bring them back in. We also have to address this whole law and order piece as it relates to police and community issues, which of course has not gone away. The mayors of new york, chicago, san francisco, seattle, los angeles, philadelphia, have all said they will not follow federal orders to deport immigrants and will remain sanctuary cities despite Donald Trumps vow to deport illegal immigrants. Do they have to comply, cedric . Well, im not certain whether they do or not. I think thats a question that maybe needs to be asked someone thats on the legal side of the house. But im not surprised whatsoever that a lot of cities are not going to change because, here again, you know, we often hear the fact that all politics is local. We have a lot of politics is local, and a lot of local communities are going to make decisions for ive got to go, cedric. Themselves. Do they have to comply . Ive got ten seconds. Well, it depends if donald trump is going to force them to, immigration and custom enforcement. We have to wait and see. Thank you. Thats it for us tonight. Thanks for watching. You will see you back here you will see you back here tomorrow. Captions by vitac www. Vitac. Com its how adventure begins. Credit card.
