Sotomayor and ginsburg should recuse themselves from cases involving him. But first the stage is set and the battle lines are drawn. Tonights critical debate, its frontrunner Bernie Sanders against everyone else, and this comes only days before the South Carolina primary on saturday and one week before super tuesday. Sanders is still fending off criticism over his remarks about former cuban leader Fidel CastrosLiteracy Program. After sanders defended himself at last nights town hall, Pete Buttigieg took the opportunity to pounce. You know what, teaching people to read and write is a good thing. The truth is the truth. And thats what happened in the first years of the castro regime. As a democrat, i dont want to be explaining why our nominee is encouraging people to look on the bright side of the castro regime when were going into the election of our lives. Our jessica dean is in charleston, South Carolina, which is the site of tonights democratic debate, and jessica, tell us what is on the line for these candidates. Reporter brianna, you laid it out right there. Look, its Bernie Sanders right now with so much momentum coming out of nevada with that blowout win, and what hes looking to do here is really lay on the critical blow and then move into super tuesday and really amass an incredible amount of delegates where no one can catch up to him. The other candidates want to stop that momentum, they want to stop that from happening. Tonights debate, theyll all be on the stage. You can anticipate we will hear a lot of attacks toward Bernie Sanders, the unanticipated frontrunner at this point. We didnt hear much of that in last weeks debate, so this will probably be a little bit different dynamic. How does Bernie Sanders stand up to those attacks . Is he able to make those points that he wants to make to people . Someone like joe biden, someone who has really counted on South Carolina as his firewall, the Biden Campaign really wants this to be a win that then boomerangs them into super tuesday to perform really well across a number of states. Can joe biden deliver a line of attack that is effective against Bernie Sanders . And then you also have Michael Bloomberg on the stage. Weve heard from him. You heard Pete Buttigieg. A lot of these other candidates have been going after Bernie Sanders in the last couple of days over a host of issues from his comments on cuba, also how hes going to pay for all of his plans. But you also have Elizabeth Warren on the stage who has telegraphed that shes going to be going after Michael Bloomberg as she did last week in nevada. So, brianna, there will be a lot of dynamics at play. We know we had some reporting from my colleague dan merica about Michael Bloombergs campaign, his adviser summing it up and saying, look, this debate tonight is the last time they believe they can really attack Bernie Sanders ideas, his records, before everybody heads into super tuesday. So for anybody not named Bernie Sanders, brianna, thats what their setting out to do tonight. Bernie sanders hopes to just keep pushing forward with his momentum. Jessica dean, it is a critical night. Thank you for that preview of it. I want to bring in ari raven hawk. He is the Campaign Manager for Bernie Sanders. Ari, thank you for coming on. Thank you for having me, brianna. This is a big night and there are a number of issues that you know democrats are going to be aiming Bernie Sanders way. Lets talk first about his comments about castros Literacy Program, because this is worrying some democrats, like congresswoman Debbie Mccarthy powell who said this last night on ac 360. Look, there is a saying here in south florida by many cubans, that they say castro may have given Us Health Care and education, but he didnt give us breakfast, lunch or dinner. So the reason why the cuban people have not been able to rise up is because he has targeted any of its dissidents by jailing them and many times even murdering them. That is why the cuban people continue to be oppressed. What do you say to that, ari . Look, Bernie Sanders comments are really similar to something barack obama said, and im wondering if all these Democratic Candidates are willing to go out and make the same critique of our former president who was right when he made them, but let me say this. What comment are you talking about . Sure, when barack obama was in cuba as we opened up relations, he talked about cubas Education System and praised it. But heres the main point, brianna. When it comes to taking on authoritarians, and there is nobody, theres not a single candidate on that stage who has a better track record than Bernie Sanders. While washington was praising mbs, Bernie Sanders was out there attacking his war on yemen, and only after the murder of sam jamal khashoggi, Bernie Sanders has been calling out castro as an authoritarian. Lets talk about castro. Because he said in 1961 of his literacy campaign, and i do want to remain focused on this. When these illiterates have learned to read and write, they will realize what it means culturally, politically and materially for our nation. Hes talking there about education solely for the sake of indoctrination. And thats a context that i think thats why many people are looking at what Bernie Sanders is saying, and they have problems with it. What do you say to that . There is no candidate on that stage who has been harsher on authoritarians than Bernie Sanders, including fidel castro. And you have to ignore the first half of his statement where he criticized the authoritarian nature of that regime. You have to ignore the comments that have been made by other democrats. You have to ignore a lot, and you have to ignore a better track record of going after authoritarianism around the world that Bernie Sanders has compared to every other candidate on that stage, brianna. But he praised the Literacy Program, right . He said, i think teaching people to read and write is a good thing. The truth is the truth and thats what happened during the beginning of the castro regime. Do you think teaching people to read and write is a bad thing . If i asked you if the method for doing that is to close Catholic Schools and force people out of the city and into rural areas, i would pose that question to you. What do you say . Fidel castro was an authoritarian. Bernie sanders has said hes an authoritarianism. Bernie sanders has spoken out more against authoritarianism than anybody on the entire stage. Were in the spaghetti throwing portion of this contest. The other candidates think theyll try to throw every piece of spaghetti against the wall, but heres the thing. With our Cross Campaign across races, across ethnicities, its not going to work. But having criticized the authoritarian nature of the regime, how do you uncouple that from the Literacy Program that was carried out in an authoritarian manner . Look, you have things are complicated. You can Say Something is authoritarianism and x. Does Bernie Sanders want people to live under dictatorship . No. Is Bernie Sanders willing to call out dictatorships and authoritarians when no one else is . Absolutely. Thats his track record unlike every other single candidate on that stage. Bernie sanders has a track record of it. And thats what were going to say. I want to ask you about something he said during the town hall last night. He really dismissed the idea that he had considered seriously primarying president obama in the 2012 election. Heres what he said. In 2012, i was very busy running for reelection for the United States senate from the state of vermont. Thats what i was focusing on. In fact, i ended up campaigning for obama and im a strong supporter of all that barack obama has accomplished. He said basically this was silly season, that it that itso discussion of this. And the atlantic, and i know you take issue with some of this reporting, but its extensive and well sourced that Bernie Sanders had told the senior senator from vermont, patrick leahy, that he was planning on it, and so did the top adviser. In that regard it doesnt sound as half baked as sanders makes it sound where he is just outright dismissing this, even though at the time he said he thought there should be a primary challenge to the president. As harry reid said, he would be a fool to challenge barack obama and Bernie Sanders is no fool. The fact is Bernie Sanders never considered challenging barack obama, Bernie Sanders never considered running for president before 2015, and the fact is then why did he tell senator leahy he did . We dispute that. Its not true. So youre saying he never had that conversation with senator leahy . Absolutely. Okay. Well, i certainly appreciate, ari, having you on and hearing your side of this. Ari ra ari ribinhavt with the Bernie Sanders campaign. Good luck tonight. Thank you. Its certainly going to be a big one for all the candidates as well. President trump is claiming today that the coronavirus, which has killed some 2,700 people and sickened more than 80,000 others is, quote, going to go away. The president seeking to calm economic fears as stock markets plunge touted the strengths of the market and downplayed the virus impact on the u. S. You may ask about the coronavirus, which is very well under control in our country. We have very few people with it, and the people that have it are in all cases, i have not heard anything other than the people are getting better. Theyre all getting better. Despite this rosey assessmen, cnn has learned that he privately has frustration about the coronavirus. This is the decision to allow some americans infected with the virus back into the u. S. , the president reportedly telling those around him he wants to see people fired about this. Our cnn Global Affairs analyst is here with me to talk about this. I wonder, whats your assessment of what the president is saying, what is the reality and what is the problem with even, you know, republican senator shelby has basically said you lowball this at your own peril. As i was walking in here, right, there was an alert from the New York Times saying the cdc is warning americans that they should be prepared for an outbreak of the coronavirus. So, you know, were all to some extent in the dark. There was a briefing for senators today which some senators came out expressing a serious degree of alarm. And, you know, the president again, its the same thing in general with his obsession with the stock market, it goes up, and you claim credit. What do you do when it goes down . So there is a high risk to the political strategy of embracing that when you dont know whats going to happen. A lot of people have pointed out, brianna, that this is a situation where the president , his enormous staff turnover, his refusal to support the conclusion of his experts and the u. S. Government staff and the fact that there are so many acting officials here, it was the acting Homeland Security secretary who was up on capitol hill giving a briefing to the senators. Were talking about controversies involving the acting director of National Intelligence. So the question is whats the capacity of the government to respond to this. Thats a very good point. I also want to ask you about something the president was asked about, which was if he believers the intel communitys assess that russia is interfering in the 2020 election. He really wouldnt give an answer to this. He was asked by costa on this, if there whe wanted he a foreign country. First of all, i dont want help from any country. I have not been given help from any country. That does not square with what hes said in the past, but he seems to be willing to put that out there now. You know, it is a notable contrast when senator sanders was asked the other day about reports that russia was also seeking to meddle in the election on his behalf. He came out with a very strong statement saying, you know, basically, i condemn putin. I dont want anything to do with this. President trump has never said that. Obviously its factually challengin challenging the contusions of the governments own intelligence agencies when he says they were given no help when it is heavily documented in 2016. And you mentioned how Bernie Sanders addressed this. When asked about russian interference, instead of answering, he turned to reports about Bernie Sanders being the focus of russians. Heres what the president said. Schiff leaked it, in my opinion. And he shouldnt be leaking things like that. Thats a terrible thing to do. But basically they would like to see bernie as probably winning, and it looks like hes binni iw and hes got a head of steam, and maybe they dont want him for obvious reasons. They dont want him, so they put out a thing that russia is backing him. What do you make of that answer, and also, it just strikes me the setting hes in as hes talking about these things and hes on this trip that is very important. Thats right. Actually he said something in the beginning. He said, im not going to make any news today. Im only here for two days. If i Say Something controversial, it will overshadow my trip, and then he proceeded to accuse the chairman of the National Intelligence community of leaking classified information. So the president is obsessed with adam schiff. This has continued after his impeachment. It is a longrunning theme, as is a longrunning theme the president s attacks on his own intelligence community. So in a sense, it represents continuity by trump, and weve become inured to how significant that charge would be if it was launched by somebody who hadnt made it a thousand times or had more credibility to make it. But look, its deflection thats exactly the kind of deflection they want. Remember, in 2016, actually, the u. S. Intelligence actually found that there had been intervention by the russians in the primary season as well on sanders behalf as well as on trumps behalf. So, again, this represents continuity. Could you imagine, brianna, that you and i would ever be sitting here talking about a u. S. President ial election in which both the democratic and the republican nominee would apparently be favored by russia over any of their opponents . How extraordinary that is. It really is. Lets listen to what the president said, because theres been this talk of a more centralized white house purge going on, and this is how the president addressed that. Yeah, i dont think its a big problem. I dont think its stirred many people. I think we had a whistleblower who is a fake, because if you look at the whistleblower as an example, if you look at his report and then you compare that to the transcripts, it bore no relationship. So that was a very sad situation and a lot of time, a lot of time wasted. We want to have people who are good for the country, are loyal to our country, because that was a disgraceful situation. Obviously, this is a real thing, this purge, right . Hes basically confirming that. What do you make of just this idea its extraordinary, again, that this is going on, and that the president is talking about it . First of all, just in the sort of quick factcheck level setting thing here, the whistleblowers original complaint was, in fact, quite notably accurate when the record of the phone call that the white house released and with subsequent testimony gathered in the house. And so rather than it being some sort of out there, disgraceful hoax, in fact, what was striking about the complaint was that it really bore up under the subsequent investigation when it came to the facts. So thats important to note. When it comes to the purge, donald trump has been obsessed with the loyalty of those around him from the very beginning of his administration. He spoke of snakes within the administration, according to reporting before impeachment. Whats different, i think, after impeachment is his willingness to act on a big scale, and in that regard, he reappointed to the white house a 29yearold new personnel chief who had previously been fired and walked out of the white house by former chief of staff john kelly. He brought him back in with a directive to essentially oversee a series of a loyalty test, there is no other word for it. Whats interesting about trump is hes turning on people who have been given appointments in the administration. Its not just the current democracy. In fact, hes concerned that even those republicans arent sufficiently loyal to him. Susan glasser, we really appreciate your insights on this. President trump is now taking aim to our rule of law. Justice sotomayor and Justice Ginsburg. How the wife of one Supreme Court justice is involved. Ah su. Yes yes. Yeah, yeah no problem. Yes. Yes, yes a thousand times yes discover. Accepted at over 95 of places in the u. S. Discover. Its an honor to tell you that [ applause ] thank you. Liberty mutual customizes your Car Insurance so you only pay for what you need. I love you only pay for what you need. Liberty. Liberty. Liberty. Liberty. President trump is renewing his attacks on Supreme Court justices sotomayor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg today. His jabs come after Justice Sotomayor sharply criticized the government for repeatedly asking for stays in cases related to trumps policies but denied applications for nontrump cases. She also questioned the courts conservative majority for being too eager to side with the white house in such requests, and heres what the president said today. I just dont know how they can not recuse themselves for anything having to do with trump or trump related. Her statement was so inappropriate. When youre a justice of the Supreme Court, its almost like what shes trying to do is get people who do feel a different way and get them to vote the way that she would like them to vote. Aryn carmone is the author of the book notorious rbg. I want to go to Justice Sotomayor and what has happened here, the president criticizing her. Lets talk about this volume of requests shes talking about clogging up the court. Give us a sense of whats going on here. I think the content is important, because judge sotomayor is using the outlet that a Supreme Court justice is supposed to use. H her decide to stay that the Trump Administration asked the court to stop a lower decision on. For your context, the professor at the university of techs of t school, recently published a study about the obama administrations, so in 16 years there were only a block of requests going straight to the Supreme Court. There were 21 brought by the Trump Administration asking the Supreme Court to overrule what lower courts had done and allow it to immediately, on an emergency basis, implement its policy. This is usually really extraordinary, they have to show that theres harm, but the reason the Trump Administration is sidestepping the lower courts is because, as Justice Sotomayor pointed out, they have had a Great Success doing so. Lower courts have said, actually, this needs to go through the normal process. We need to adjudicate this, we need to have evidence in this and the Supreme Court has written a blank check to the Trump Administration and thats what Justice Sotomayor is paying attention to. So youre saying that this is a good point shes making, that this is Holding Water . She is making a factual point, that you could compare what happened under both obama and bush and you could look at numbers and see how often the Trump Administration has resorted to these extraordinary measures. You can see that its actually roughly triple, and were only talking a couple years into a single term compared to four. Yeah, its an opinion in terms of whether she thinks these are merited, but if you look at the empirical facts, they are certainly in her favor. On the other hand, lets talk about the involvement of Justice Clarence thomas wife. Apparently she, you know, in her political work and in her role in reportedly helping root out people for the white house purge, which the president confirmed is happening. What do you make of that, and i suppose its not surprising that the president wouldnt say that Justice Thomas should recuse himself. Hes very much in the president s corners when it comes to how the president would like to see decisions made by the court. Brianna, there has been staggering reporting about what thomas has been doing and more in the New York Times, indicating that shes handing the president lists of people who she thinks should be purged from the administration in favor of people shes loyal to. Now, she is her own person, but its impossible to divorce the fact that shes married to someone with whom trump has a lot of business. He may give more credence to someone married to an important Supreme Court justice in a lifetime commitment. Its certainly a conflict of interest, because as we know, many matters of the Trump White House are coming before the Supreme Court for Clarence Thomas to vote on. I would also add that you dont even have to go to a spouse to question this sort of conflict of interest question that President Trump has raised about the justices. Remember Brett Kavanaughs confirmation hearing . Remember when he was going on and on about how the allegations of Sexual Assault and misconduct against him were a revenge plot by the clintons . I think there are certainly times in which justices have made really partisan remarks, and Justice Ginsburg apologized for her remarks. So i think it certainly raises questions about impartiality when you have the spouse, whether its male or female, of the Supreme Court justice essentially giving hit lists to the president , knowing that hes more likely to Pay Attention to that based on who she is married to. Get published now, call for your free publisher kit today at tonights 2020 democratic debate, it may be Bernie Sanders versus everybody, but expect Mike Bloomberg to throw a majority of the punches. According to his campaign, bloomberg is prepared to salvage the millions hes spent on the race by challenging the frontrunner head on. After a rough debate debut, the Bloomberg Campaign says this debate is about one candidate and one candidate only. That is senator Bernie Sanders. Joining me now is sabrina singh. She is the Campaign Adviser for the Bloomberg Campaign. Sabrina, thank you for joining us. Thank you for having me. Bloomberg did not seem particularly prepared for senator sanders attacks for women in the workplaces accusations of sexual harrassment in the workplace. I want to ask you, how is he prepared to handle what is still going to be criticism because of that tonight . Well, we are expecting, i think, attacks from all sides, but i will say just on the topic of ndas, we have released the women who have ndas against mike specifically for comments or alleged comments that he made. Other ndas have to do with the company, and thats a different issue. Anything pertaining to ndas, we have released those women. At the end of the day, these are still legal agreements. He is a candidate running for this race as president. He felt it was important to be transparent and allow the women who have these ndas to be able to speak out. But tonight were prepared for the attacks, were ready for whether its Elizabeth Warren or senator Bernie Sanders coming after him, but at the end of the day, this race is coming down to three candidates. Its Mike Bloomberg, Bernie Sanders and donald trump. And we know that in order to beat donald trump in november, we have to nominate someone that can appeal to moderates, independents and democrats. Sabrina, this is something youll have to get over to do that, and this is something Mike Bloomberg will have to deal with. I hear youre trying to make this distinction between people who have alleged some things that bloomberg personally has said, but there are also people who allege he personally created a hostile or allowed to foster a hostile environment at these workplaces where he was i mean, these are his companies, right . So i want to talk about this. Are there women in those cases who have said, i would like to be released from my nda so that i could speak about this publicly . Well, you know, i dont know the answer to that because these are still legal agreements, these are still nondisclosure agreements that are bound in confidentiality right now. You know about that in the case of the other women who have been released from ndas. Right i only know for the three cases that i can speak on, which are the ones against mikes comments or alleged comments against him. Other ones on the company or that mike is president of but against the company or other employees themselves, these are still legal agreements. I dont actually have any insight beyond those. All of these are legal agreements, and some of them Mike Bloomberg has allowed to basically be opened up for ndas. I want to talk about something else. This is, as i mentioned in the case of these ndas that have not the women have not been released from them where they are concerned, these women allege that, and Mike Bloomberg was questioned about the environment in these companies that he was in charge of. Bloombergs longtime girlfriend, his girlfriend of 20 years, has responded to this controversy by saying get over it. Leet list lets listen to that. It was 30 years ago. Get over it. In none of them was he accused of saying or doing anything nasty to a woman. That is not who he is. Life has changed. I grew up in that world. It was a real culture. He was accused of saying nasty things to women, but is this your candidates view, get over it, that was 30 years ago . No, that is not, and i think diana taylor was speaking more for herself. This is someone that is watching her partner be attacked on the stage. We have to remember that mike is the president of a company with over 20,000 employees, and i can only speak for myself here being at the Bloomberg Campaign. This is an operation here that is a majority of women where our voices are heard. The atmosphere and the environment is collaborative and creative. Im surrounded by women here who have worked for mike for over 20 to 30 years. I think we have to remember some of the context here, that there were these ndas that mike was part of, but we are allowing the women to come out, we are allowing them to speak and thats important and we should honor that. The ones against mike, we are. Youre making a distinction that some people might not make. Youre saying if words came spifb specifically out of his mouth. Other people would argue that fostering an environment where it is basically a hostile place or its not dealing with issues of sexual harrassment or Sexual Assault in a sensitive way at all that that also would have to do with Michael Bloomberg. But youre saying that does not. Is that right . I just want to be clear. I think that mike and this campaign and certainly the company has a zero tolerance policy for this. And going forward, the company does allow women in any confidentiality agreement when they join the company to speak out against any harassment or allegations that have been that they are accusing someone else of. But i want to be really specific here because if theyre doing it going forward, why cant you do it retroactively . I dont understand how youre making the distinction those are still legal agreements, but if you have current ones, they are not bound by the same standards. Because theyre two separate entities here. Theres Mike Bloomberg and then theres the company. I understand what youre saying, that with mike as the president of the company, why cant he just release everyone else. That is just not how businesses work, unfortunately. Were talking about a company with over 20,000 employees, and frankly, some people entered into these ndas and want this keep them private. Some people dont, sabrina. Sure. And im saying for the women that have an nda on mikes specific comments against them, we are welcoming them to come out and speak freely right now, but the issues with anything else in the company, those would have to be directed to the company. All right, sabrina, thank you so much. We know this is a big night ahead for Michael Bloomberg. We are all waiting to see how this shapes up on this very pivotal week. Thank you so much for being with us. Thank you. So night 2 of the special cnn twonight event continues tomorrow. This is live from charleston. Plo bloomberg, biden, klobuchar and sanders will answer specific questions. Senator sanders denied at his town hall that he denied wanting to primary president obama. Thats next. Now, we know the trump strategy try to win by attacking, distorting, dividing. Mr. President it. Wont. Work. Newspapers report bloomberg is the democrat trump fears most. As president , universal healthcare that lets people keep their coverage if they like it. A record on job creation. A doable plan to combat climate change. I led a complex, diverse city through 911 and i have common sense plans to move america away from chaos to progress im Mike Bloomberg and i approve this message. We are just hours away from tonights 2020 democratic debate, and the expected target is, you guessed it, senator Bernie Sanders because his rivals appear to just have it out for him after sanders scored his second consecutive win in the nevada caucuses solidifying his status as the Democratic Front runner. And here with me now to discuss, we have francesca chambers White House Correspondent for mcclatchy d. C. , and we also have crystal ball, cohost of rising on hill tv. Shes also the author of a new book the populists guide to 2020. Lets talk francesca first, just about this is going to be the thing, Bernie Sanders with a target on his back, so how is that going to look . How is he going to handle that . Its very clear so far over the things that have happened over the last couple of days that he does not want to back down from his comments about these authoritarian regimes saying, yes, ive been critical of them, but at the same time i think that there are positive aspects and staying consistent with the comments hes made over the past 20, 30 years, however long its been. I think you can continue to see that tonight, but Pete Buttigieg had also made an argument in the last debate about the bernie bros and their online comments, and so one would expect to maybe see more talk about that tonight as wiell. One of the things hes probably going to get questions of tonight is this idea of a primary challenge that he proposed against president obama in 2012 because according to the atlantic, it was actually more cooked than it was half baked as we may have previously thought. This is from 2011. This is some audio of Bernie Sanders. Lets listen. My suggestion is i think, you know, and i think one of the reasons the president has been able to move so far to the right is that there is no primary opposition to him. I think it would be a good idea if president obama faced some primary opposition. Instead, though, he said to Anderson Cooper that its silly season, that this is being proposed. We know from various reports hes been overstating his relationship with president obama. What do you make of this . A couple things. First of all, on the attack itself, i dont know that its going to be any surprise to voters that Bernie Sanders has been critical of the democratic party, right . I dont think thats going to come as a major shock. And look, ultimately he campaigned for barack obama in his 2012 reelect. So theres that too. I do, though, want to zoom out because i think this is an important distinction between joe biden and Bernie Sanders, and when it looks like the two were going to be really head to head juggernauts against each other, this was really going to be the fight. Bidens central case is trump is an ab berration, lets get rid him and go back to the obama years and barack obama is my friend, et cetera, et cetera. Bernie sanders is in some ways a repudiation of the obama legacy. He is saying that that era, those politics wrnerent enough. We need something different. We need something new to respond to those new challenges. I think that central tension is very interesting. As a particular hit on him, look, its almost like a thought crime, like youre not even allowed to think negative thoughts about barack obama. I do think that is a little bit silly and at this point all of the are going to be out for bernie. People already voted in super tuesday states. He has this massive diverse state. Hes got the money and infrastructure already up. South carolina happens on saturday. Super tuesday is just days away. Theres not a lot of otitime t ramp up. It is so close. I wonder if senator Elizabeth Warren might take him on. Do you think so . So far she really hasnt with Bernie Sanders. In the last debate we really saw her show up in a way that we have not seen her in any of the debates. It seems like that that was because we had Mike Bloomberg on the stage, but there were some people who said she focused on him too much. Will she shift her attention tonight to Bernie Sanders . Hes the one whos really running away with it right now, and the other candidates too. A lot of this depends on what their strategies are for what they want to achieve. It does seem like Pete Buttigieg has 1 in mind who hes going to go after. What is Elizabeth Warrens path at this point . Shes had disappointing finishes in every one of these primaries so far. Reporters were pressing her to go after Bernie Sanders. Isnt he dangerous . Isnt he toxic. She said Michael Bloomberg is the most risky candidate. Im wondering is she starting to look at this as maybe my best vet is for a vp slot. Maybe i can rebuild some of the bridges i have burned with myself and the sanders movement.
