President s own party, the powerful republican chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, bob corker, just recently announced he will not seek reelection. Now appearing to take off the gloves in this very public spat with the president of the United States. A couple other quotes from the New York Times interview he concerns me, he would have to concern anyone who cares about our nation, and this i know for a fact, that every single day at the white house its a situation of trying to contain him. You know, the significance of this is that this is a republican senator from trump country, from tennessee, where mr. Trump won with 60 of the vote, an individual who has been described as one of the closest senators to the president of the United States, now taking off the gloves, articulating some of the biggest grievances from Congressional Republicans that often are expressed in private. Bob corker taking it public. Now also, showing the president for sure that hes not the only one in washington who can be a counterpuncher. Poppy, back to you. Joe johns at the white house, see what is next in the feud. Thank you very much. Meantime new signs of trouble when it comes to protecting hundreds of thousands of socalled dreamers living in the United States. Democratic leadership is crying foul this morning when they look at demand list from the white house on gives in terms of what they will need to give to get a daca deal done. Sunlen serfaty is on the hill with more. Democrats will have to give and thats a reality. What theyre willing to give they havent been clear on but the white house is now very clear on what it wants. Thats right. They are. They came out with a laundry list of demands which really reads like a list of hardline immigration policies from front to back and it certainly isnt going over well among democrats up here on capitol hill. Many of the action items demanded by the white house really are deal breakers for Many Democrats including funding and constructing a border wall, cracking down on sanctuary cities, greater restrictions on illegal immigration and cracking down on unaccompanied minors entering into the u. S. Among other items. This list essentially is a nonstarter for Many Democrats and a point we can say look how far weve come in a short amount of time. Only a month ago where nancy pelosi and Chuck Schumer were over at the white house and expressed a lot of openness and optimism at potentially brokering a deal with President Trump. Now in response to this list from the white house, schumer and nancy pelosi singing a much different tune. They say in a statement, quote, we told the president at our meeting that we were open to reasonable Border Security measures alongside the d. R. E. A. M. Act but this list goes far beyond what is reasonable, this proposal fails to represent any attempt at compromise. The list includes the wall explicitly ruled out of the negotiations. If the president was serious about protecting the d. R. E. A. M. Ers his staff has not made a good faith effort to do so. The demands of the white house, though, stop short of issuing any sort of veto threat for any tim on this list so clearly the white house laying in a firm and aggressive marker at the start of these negotiations, but looking at this list, you can certainly imagine that Many Democrats, this has really made them move a little farer from the negotiating table rather than closer. Of course all of this on a very firm time limit, six months, the president has Given Congress to broker a deal on this. Poppy. Sunlen serfaty on the hill, thank you. With me political analyst Ron Brownstein and abby phillips. Lets get to the corker stuff first and then talk about daca and the Vice President walking out of the Football Game yesterday, but one of the other things that struck me that bob corker said in this astounding interview with the New York Times last night he said he is speaking for, quote, the vast majority of our caucus, who he went on to say, quote, understand what were dealing with her. The thing is when you look at the polling among republicans in this country, the president polls better than establishment Republican Leadership in congress. Should the president be worried about this or not really . Well, i think for the time being, its not a worry for his personal political future, but i think bob corker is essentially saying that people who work with the president on a regular basis, members on the hill, agree with him by and large that the president is needs to be managed by his staff on a regular basis, that he can be impe tu was and sometimes dangerous and that i think is not good for the president long term. Look, he needs these republicans in order to do the things he needs to do on the hill, and theres not a whole lot of confidence. Now, you know, when it comes to voters some of the republicans are in states where the president won big, some of them are in states where the president did not win so big. So it just depends on who they are and i think corker is in a unique position. Hes worked from the inside for many, many months, you know, several months ago when he first made some muted criticisms of the white house, essentially saying you guys need to get your act together, that really shook up a lot of white house staffers because they listened to bob corker. They think he is an honest broker. And so the reality is, that for a long time, people within the white house cared about what bob corker had to say because he was trying to hold their hand. Hes no longer doing that and that just reflects how bad the situation has gotten in terms of whether or not people on the hill think that the president is up to the job. And to abbys point this is a guy who stood next to the president during the campaign, campaigned with him, has had so many phone calls with the president , so yeah, it did certainly shake the white house. Ron, to you, lets talk about why this matters policy wise for the American People. As abby rightly pointed out, an important republican vote on a number of things including right now with the president and his tax reform. He needs corker likely. He chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the iran deal likely going to be punted back to congress this week, if the president decertifies as hes reportedly going to say he with will, so what does this mean for the American People, aside from the bickering, why does it matter to them. I think its vastly more important than bickering. Call this a feud is to understate the importance. The uniqueness of what we are seeing, certainly we have had other examples of a chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee krits size policy positions of a president from his own party. William fullbright was a an early and leading critic of the vietnam war under lyndon johnson. I am not aware of a precedent of a Foreign Relations Committee Chair of the same party basically saying the president of the United States is so reckless, so volatile that he is a threat to the security of the nation and the world. I mean that is an extraordinary charge that goes beyond any policy specific policy disagreement. It speaks to what i think is the greatest political vulnerability of the president , there are policies of the president that draw majority disapproval, building the wall, withdrawing from the Climate Change agreement, repealing the aca, but the core problem hes facing in Public Opinion are the doubts about whether he is personally up to the job and his values, his qualifications, his experience, his judgment, and senator koes corker is pushing at that button and validating it. As you pointed out one of the most explosive things in what he said was essentially virtually all Senate Republicans agree with his assessment even though they wont say so publicly. There will be potential policy implications on iran, maybe more on taxes where senator koescork sent up a warning sign about raising the deficit. A much larger question about whether the nation and the world can trust the stability of the commander in chief of the United States. And that i think as i say is pretty unprecedented for a Senate Foreign relations chair of the same party to question. As errol lewis pointed out he needs corker and the senate Relations Committee to approve key positions, ambassadorships that are still vacant. Lets move on to the Vice President walking out of the colts and niners game after some of the 49ers knelt during the National Anthem. America is divided on whether players should kneel during the National Anthem north but Something Else significant happened over the weekend and that is more white see prem sist rallies and protests in charlottesville and the president has tweeted twice applauding his Vice President for walking out of the game because of the kneeling and the white house said nothing, not a single tweet, about what we saw in charlottesville over the weekend. Yeah. I mean i think its telling and part of a longer pattern that weve seen over the last few weeks where this white house is much more concerned with prying open this culture war wedge that is created by some of these issues and really leaning into it. Creating a whole new news cycle around the nfl. I mean, frankly, poppy, there are probably as many nfl players kneeling for the National Anthem as there were white see prem sists in charlotte marching and so you i think a lot of people are looking at the situation and wondering, why isnt the white house sort of establishing whats really wrong which is unequivocally that White Supremacists and neo nazis and so on are wrong and that, you know, perhaps reasonable people can disagree about whether the National Anthem protest is an appropriate thing. That being said, i mean i think there are just a lot of other questions about the propriety of setting Something Like this up and acknowledging that it was kind of a setup. I think that that kind of undermines the whole message here. Doesnt seem very much like it was a spontaneous thing. I think the president s repeated tweets about it seem to indicate he asked for this to happen, that he was happy that it did, and that i think undermines their entire message around this episode. Ron, we got 30 seconds and im told we have to go. Your final thought on this to put a button on this. I think abby is right. The president has turned sharply toward i think cultural divisive issues in particular in the aftermath of the failure to repeal the aca which hurt him with his older blue collar white base and found a series of wedge issues to rally back on cultural grounds, voters he alienated through his economic agenda on health care and potentially may do so again on taxes. This morning we are getting new reporting on the russian investigation. Cnn obtained new details about the setup for the meeting that took place at trump tower between donald trump, jr. And Paul Manafort and the russian lawyer. Joining us cnn justice correspondent pamela brown it is complex but important walk us through it. New documents provided to cnn show how some of the meeting participants in that infamous 2016 trump tower meeting planned to make the case about why it did not amount to collusion and the trump campaign. An attorney for the russian billionaire who pushed for the meeting between a russian lawyer provided cnn with emails and documents to make that argument and the new information is intended to contrast with that initial email pitching the meeting to trump jr. Which as you know promised damaging information on Hillary Clinton. The email between the russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya and publicist rob gold stone the morning of the meetinged a asked for a russian american lobbyist to be added because of the adoption issue. A five page talking menu provided to cnn showed veselnitskayas case to repeal the act to improve u. S. russia relations with a passing reference to a possible financier of Clintons Campaign and the documents provided to us by scott ballber who represents the billionaire Real Estate Developer and pop star son who requested that meeting. Poppy. So on top of that, help us understand why the emails and the documents that you received from that attorney, why do they help make this case . Well, if you recall the june 2016 meeting pitched by the publicist of donald trump, jr. To get damaging information on Hillary Clinton. Trump seemed receptive to hearing them out on that and subsequently said that veselnitskaya did, indeed, start the meeting talking about, quote, individuals connected to russia funding clinton but said ultimately she provided no the deals to support her claims. She moved on focus on the u. S. Sanctions under the act of adoption of russian children. Ballber who went to obtain the documents from veselnitskaya said in an interview the emails and talking points show she was focused primarily on repealing the act, not providing damaging information on clinton. The message was muddled he said when it was passed on, like a game of telephone from veselnitskaya through the aguilaroftens to Rob Goldstone who emailed don jr. And suggested that goldstone probably exaggerated and maybe woefully contorted the facts for making the meeting interesting to the trump people and add that gold stone declined to comment for the story. And before you go, pamela, new reporting thats interesting on the question of what so what exactly did donald trump, jr. Do ahead of the meeting . Thats right. Because as youll recall in the emails between gold stone and don jr. There was an indication that he was trying to get in touch with aguilar rov. New details that, in fact, don jr. Was trying to talk to amin aguilar rov before the meeting and trump said as you recall he could not remember if they talked and might have exchanged emails. He says according to his client the two did end up talking and there was a conversation, describes a brief call he urged trump to take the meeting but says he doesnt remember anything substantive discussed beyond that. As youll recall, poppy, initially when there was the insinuation in the emails, both don jr. And amin aguilar rov didnt recall a conversation taking place and then find out there were three calls that phone records showed and now were learning that amin aguilarrov remembers a phone conversation with don jr. Before that meeting. Pamela brown great reporting thank you for walking us through it. Reaction now from democratic congressman Eric Swalwell of california, sits on the house intelligence committee. Thank you for being here, congressman. Hopefully you heard the reporting as someone who sits on the intelligence committee, whats your reaction . Good morning, poppy. Thank you for having me back. Look how far we have come. Just about six months ago, we heard denial after denial that anyone in the trump family had ever met any russian and now we know that not only had they met russians but taking meetings when the subject of the email was clinton, russia, private confidential we got dirt on Hillary Clinton and don jr. Saying great can we hold it until the end of the summer recognizing the political timing. Congressman yeah. Go ahead. Pamelas reporting is interesting because signifying that there was knowledge among the trump team that this was going to be about about the act and not about dirt on Hillary Clinton does that change your perception at all, politics aside . No. The magnitsky act was about sanctions. They had an interesting in working to ease russian sanctions. I dont think anybody believes in the peak of a president ial campaign that trump team was interested in working on a adoption issue in a foreign adversarys country. This was about getting information about Hillary Clinton, also may have been a dangle on behalf of the russians to probe what the interest was from the trump team. I say bring them all before the intelligence committees allows us to question them and test the stories against each other and we can tell the American People what is truth. Let me get your reaction to the president s new message this morning to north korea, he wrote on twitter, as he often does, about north korea. Heres what he writes our country has been unsuccessful dealing with north korea for 25 years giving billions of dollars back and getting nothing. Policy didnt work. He has a point. Diplomacy has not worked in the long term with north korea. But this is coupled with republican senator bob corker saying the president is being irresponsible he could lead us on the path to in corkers words world war iii. Too far . No, not too far at all because were dealing with a Nuclear Armed country and that the president continues to make threats to an individual who i think is being pushed into a corner. Poppy, im rooting for the president here, though. Just as i root for the pilot in a plane. We need him to succeed. So, he has an opportunity to first unite the world, and i think when he goes to asia the best thing he can do is sit down with thep japanese, the south koreans and the chinese and show we will not tolerate a nuclear north korea, but also to be up front with the American People about every option he has exhausted that would require us to have military action. I dont believe that weve fully exhausted diplomacy or sanctions or having the chinese put pressure on the north koreans. Its an erratic Foreign Policy hes exercising. Clearly congressman, youre not happy with what word you used barstool diplomacy, the tweets from the president. A tweet of yours that struck me from last week, quote, an arsonist president sets fires all over the world and hopes that smoke obstructs everyone from seeing what little has been accomplished. An arsonist president , do words like that help the perception of the United States overseas . Do words like that help americans and america . Or are you playing into what youre criticizing the president for . Poppy, what we have seen is that time and time again, this president whether its commenting on africanamericans, Football Players exercising their right to speech, or stirring the pot in north korea while his secretary of state is trying to negotiate peace, picking a fight with a mayor who is wading in water as her city suffers from a hurricane, he just seems to want to create these little fires all over the world all over our country and i think its the obstruct people from seeing he has little to show here in the United States. People arent doing better. Paychecks arent growing. Health care costs are not coming down. All the promises hes made are not happening for the American People. Congressman, i hear you, but im just asking about your words. Youre critical of the president s words and his use of twitter and you take to twitter and call him an arsonist president. Yeah. Well, i think we need to call this bully what he is and hopefully more people like bob corker like myself, i dont think is prone to wanting to, you know, make such bold statements is starting to speak up because america has had enough. Were in anxious times and have a leader who has failed to unite us. And the only other option is for its legislative leaders to put a legislative straightjacket on this president. And restrict his ability to hurt people and harm people. Because otherwise poppy, hes leading us into world war iii, hes going to be putting in place very, very hurtful immigration policies and its time for people who know better to step up. Were not helpless. Quickly before we go because we are running out of time, on immigration, you bring it up, the white house outlined its priorities to make a deal with democrats on daca, for the hundreds of thousands of d. R. E. A. M. Ers. Topping the list funding for a southern border wall, 10,000 more i. C. E. Offers, cracking down on sanctuary cities, stopping catch and release of undocumented immigrants. Democrats will have to give something and your leadership and the party nancy pelosi, Chuck Schumer, say this is a nonstarter. What should democrats give . Well, we should hold the president to the deal he agreed to in the oval office and sounds like the art of the deal means crossing your fingers behind your back. What should give democrats give, congressman . He never said it would be for nothing. He needs to help the 800,000 d. R. E. A. M. Ers who are going to be leaving Things Country in the next six months because he has failed to help them and he told democrats that he would sign the d. R. E. A. M. Act. He should sign the d. R. E. A. M. Act. What we are giving we will make sure the country is still a diverse one that has 800,000 kids who only know america as their home. That what is we should give. We should not use them as bargaining chips so he can have, you know, a wall on our southern border. Were not going to go for that. Lets have you back because theres more to dive into there. I would love to come back. I love coming on. Please come back. Thanks, poppy. Thank you, congressman. Chilling new details about the las vegas killer. The las vegas killer bragged at times he would gamble as much as a Million Dollars a day, just some of the revealing new details contained in a deposition obtained by cnn in a 2013 lawsuit filed by the shooter. Investigators are continuing to dig for clues about a possible motive to the massacre. The fbi went back to his mesquite, nevada, home for a second time yesterday to search it and along the vegas strip the trademark marquees dimmed last night to honor the victims and survivors. To las vegas where we find scott mcla mclean as we remember the victims that were honored last night, rightly so, are investigators getting any closer here . Well, poppy the question of why, what the investigators are digging into. The Las Vegas Review journal reporting the suspects brother eric paddock is in las vegas speaking to investigators, interviewed by them for about four hours after he stepped off the plane in las vegas at mccarren airport. He also told the review journal that he is here to help investigators, to give them an idea of his brothers mindset and to make sure that they dont chase down any bad leads. The other big piece of news that were getting, poppy, an exclusive obtained by cnns kyung lah, a first look into the suspects mind in his own words. This was from a deposition back in 2013 over a civil suit filed by Stephen Paddock the suspect against the Cosmopolitan Hotel for a slip and fall that he had. And in it he describes being the worlds biggest video poker player. He would wager up to a Million Dollars a day, he would play all night, he says, and sleep all day. He would also stay primarily at Las Vegas Hotel casinos and those, he said, were commed, about 95 of the time. He also in it described what he typically wore, black sweatpants and flip flops most of the time. We also know that he had a doctor on retainer, according to this deposition. That doctor prescribed him, he says, valium, for anxiousness. He was also asked several times in that deposition about his Mental Health and whether he had a history of Mental Health issues in his family and he repeatedly said no. Poppy, wondering about the outcome of that civil lawsuit, an independent arbitrator eventually sided with the hotel in that case. Scott mclean in las vegas, with the latest reporting, we appreciate it. Thank you. What we know this monday, james gag lee ann no with us, retired fbi special agent, thank you for being here. Lets go through what scott reported bit by bit. The fact that he said, acknowledged in this deposition he was taking valium, a lot of americans take valium, but it does have these side effects, right, of aggression, and rage. How does that change, do you believe, questions that investigators are now asking of his girlfriend, for example . So we know that he was on a Prescription Drug and as you pointed out, poppy, thats not i mean, Many Americans are on that, but it does have those side effects and drugs impact people in different ways. We dont know if this wasnt something that led to the triggering here. I also think its interesting the contradiction in terms that of what if we paint this picture of him going forward, you read its a flat two dimensional medium, the tripts, but read the deposition and the arrogance and condensation and smugness to the lawyers questions when he answered them and contrast that with what his girlfriend said about what a kind and gentle soul he is, we see parts hes a high roller but walks around in sweatpants and flip flops. A confounding subject, no doubt. What about the note . We spoke about this last week when you were on with us, there was a note found in his hotel room with some numbers on it. They didnt know what the numbers meant. Now investigators tell cnn they do, numbers calculating the trajectory, the distance of the bullets from the 32rd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel down to the concert. You even had some of the First Responders weighing in on 60 minutes last night talking about this. What does that tell you . Again, poppy, it goes to the point ive been making all week which is its so confusing you somebody with, from what we know, unless he was a mer sin nary overseas had zero military experience and yet i served as an officer in the tenth mountain divisions and the calculations he was making was the calculations a fire support officer would be supplying to me saying heres how were going to employ indirect fire. I it was physics, properties of matter and energy and ive long main tainds this week that he set that layer up on the 322nd floor to employ plunging fire, the direct weapon, the rifles, and shoot indirect fire, shooting it up and down into the crowd in a pa rab what type of art and it goes to the point that he used military tactics and strategy. Again, even if we get all these answers, it does not does not bring these 58 people back. Youve still got people hospitalized in critical condition. They are the names that we will always remember. Former white house chief strategist steve bannon is on a very clear mission, redefine the Republican Party by booting out the establishment lawmakers. We saw it happen in alabama and the republican primary when his candidate took down President Trumps pick. Bannons list of gop senators is growing. One source tells cnn nobody is safe in 2018. No one apparently aside from ted cruz if you ask breitbart. With us the man who knows the mind of steve bannon, josh green, cnn political analyst and author of devils bargain, steve bannon, donald trump and the storming of the presidency. So you read what breitbart says which they say the only safe republican up for reelection is ted cruz. Cnns reporting says no one is safe. Is bannon winning on this . Well, were not going to know whether hes winning until next spring and that is when a lot of these insurgent candidates hes trying to recruit will run against incumbent republicans in most of the senate races. According to breitbart and according to our reporting at bloomberg, everybody except ted cruz, bannon is trying to find a challenger for. I would say the early indications are that there is a lot of sentiment in the grassroots of the party for what steve bannon is trying to do and we saw that two weeks ago in alabama where roy moore, the bannonendorsed candidate, beat Luther Strange the incumbent republican senator endorsed by President Trump. Whats interesting, though, is that well two things, the polling shows that the president among republicans is more popular than establishment leadership, right, in congress. We know that. Mcconnell, ryan, you name it. Yes. We also know that the president has not been effective at getting big legislation through, legislation he promised, right. He hasnt been effective on rea peeling and replacing obamacare, boarder wall funding, so why are we seeing people like roy moore in alabama, if thats not an anomaly, why arent we seeing people following steve bannon and believing in this. Bannon, with backing from President Trump, has laid the blame for those legislative failures rightly or wrongly on republican congressional leadership. Sure. If you look at polls of majority leader Mitch Mcconnells Approval Rating hes somewhere down in the teens where trump himself is quite popular with republicans, despite his failures. So bannon is i think very cleverly pitching these candidates as, you know, a slate that is going to take on Mitch Mcconnell and the Republican Leadership, hold their feet to the fire, and, in fact, bannon apparently is requiring that these candidates give a kind of loyalty oath that if they are elected they will vow to vote against Mitch Mcconnell as majority leader. So this could down the road even imperil mcconnells ability to hold on to his job inside the republican caucus. What do you think steve bannon is thinking right now, reading the president s tweets he called Chuck Schumer up over the past few days and wants to make a deal with him on health care . I think its probably something that would annoy bannon. Certainly that is not the direction in which hes trying to take the party. On the other hand i think bannon is shrewd enough to know just because trump is talking with bannon and pelosi, doesnt mean hes going to do anything to move in their direction. And the clearest example of this is the deal a few weeks ago, trump sat down and struck a deal with pelosi and schumer, to fund the government for an additional three months, and at that same meeting schumer had said they essentially had come to terms on an agreement to legalize the d. R. E. A. M. Ers. The white house has come out with or given an indication of what is going to be in its side of the deal, demands its going to make, and it is down the line hardline immigration positions that are never going to fly with democrats. I think what bannon knows is despite trumps public flirtation with democrats, there probably isnt a deal to be made there and bannon and his candidates can pull the Republican Party and trump to the right eventually they will succeed in bannons goal of taking over the Republican Party. What do you make of this Washington Post reporting over the weekend that the rnc right now, which is very much the establishment, but also funds the president s reelection, et cetera, the rnc is on track to raise more small dollar contributions than any time before in the past decade. On top of that doubled the amount of money it has brought in this year so far than the dnc. Were talking about these 200 or less small donations, like what we saw helped Bernie Sanders on the other side. What does that speak to . Does that speak well for the president . For bannon . For their mission . Does this mean more of the same . I think it speaks well for the president. If you look what those donors are responding to, essentially they are small dollar pitches saying support President Trump against this myriad of enemies from democrats to the media to what have you and that message clearly is resonating with small dollar donors. Whats interesting this sets up, seems to me, a confrontation between the rnc, which is really the cradle of the republican establishment, and steve bannon, and his group of insurgent candidates, who are specifically running against that very establishment. Its not clear how this is going to shake out to me, whether republicans supportive of trump side with the rnc and trump or side with steve bannon and these insurgents who claim that they are carrying trumps banner forward against establishment figures like Mitch Mcconnell who they say are not sufficiently loyal to the president. Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein is out fired from the company he cofounded because of his own behavior, decades of sexual harassments and payoffs. Alisters weighing in, meryl streep who once compared weinstein to Old Testament god calls it a disgrace and is appalled, Jessica Chastain what about the men, why arent they speaking out. Some have. Joining us nichelle turner, cnn contributor up early for us in los angeles. I appreciate it my friend. You say hollywood hypocrisy run amuck here. Why . I do think that hollywood has a problem here and its just very simple because hollywood, especially lately, has definitely been in the political game, where weve seen all sorts of alisters speaking out about what they believe as injustice or justice in the world and the state of the world and how were living right now but when it comes to Something Like this that is right in its own backyard we havent really heard the bullhorn here. Weve heard whispers and definitely have heard from some folks, you talked about meryl streep, the jed ap pa to yous, brie larsons, those folks have spoken out about this but those loud cries of what is going on here, we certainly havent heard. I think thats where the hypocrisy comes in and you see the criticism of hollywood and in this case, rightfully so. Why, nichelle, why not cry out . There are no two sides here. Theres right, theres wrong. The bottom line theres morality and immorality. His own board including his brother booted him out of the company. He doesnt hold that power anymore, does he . Well, no. But this is all very new as well. Youre right, there is right and wrong but also green. And i think that a lot of people feel like speaking out against someone like Harvey Weinstein, who is a titan in the business, could definitely damage their career and, you know, i dont think necessarily coming out and saying what he did is disgusting is whats so fearful, but i guess im talking more about maybe people who have had experiences with him or been affected by him and when we saw ashley judd put her name to it, we saw rose mcgowan and over the weekend a woman i know lauren savan, a Television Reporter talked about it and other women start do this, it harkens back to the situation at fox news once Gretchen Carlson stood up and spoke out she paved the way for other women to say listen this happened to me as well. I do think that were going to see more, were going to see this widespread, but im with you on the fact that there needs to be more of a public condemnation from hollywood about this. Because to also say, you know, i dont think everybody knew, but to but now for the company to fire him and say well, more things have come out, and we know that this went back decades for people to say we absolutely knew nothing, is naive at best. What about the men . First of all, the board of miramar is all men, three of the Board Members are out, but four remaining booted him out said they had no inclination, never knew, never knew about any of those settlements. Hmm. Where are the men, the male voices . Its a good question. Im not on that board or in their heads so if thats what they said thats what they said. But thats a good question. What about the men . When we were having the conversation about the wage gap in hollywood, we heard a lot of alist actresses say, men need to step up and speak out and lean in on this too because its things are not going to change unless we hear from them. When that happened we heard the bradley coopers of the world, Ashton Kutchers speak out about this. So that needs to happen here too. Will it . I dont know. We heard jed apatow but needs more male voices saying this is wrong, thats not good, the culture is off. Hollywood does have a problem, stories of the casting couch are as the day is long. I hope you you come back on the show later this week with a number of men speaking out. Lets do that. Do the interviews firsthand. Nichelle turner, thank you my friend.
