Quote, grandstanders, just to borrow the president s phrase here, are choosing to sit out of the president S Manufacturing council. Weve just learned in just the last little while this, fourth executive announced his exit, scott paul is the head of the alliance for american manufacturing. He joins the heads of merck, under armor, and intel of bowing out. These executives are protesting the president s initial failure to call out these racists for who they are, who are responsible for the deadly violence in charlottesville, virginia. Scott paul has now tweeted, im resigning from the Manufacturing Jobs Initiative because its the right thing for me to do. So, lets begin with jim acosta, our cnn senior White House Correspondent outside of trump tower. Jim, in addition to the executive news today, you know, you have the president also retweeting conspiracy theorists. Talk to me about that. Reporter yeah. The president , brooke, seems to be allowing americans into his inner monologue today with all these tweets. Hes been on something of a tweet storm all day long. You mentioned the tweet that he posted earlier today slamming those executives, those Business Leaders for quitting hiS Manufacturing council. But yes, youre right. He also has retweeted a noted conspiracy theorist who is pushing the pizzagate and seth rich conspiracy theories. That person has espoused altright views, was essentially saying, why isnt the media paying more attention to the shootings in chicago, the violence in chicago. President retweeting that. Brooke, he also, i guess, for a brief period, appeared to retweet an image of a train running over what appeared to be a cnn journalist. Now, we have heard from the white house on that. An anonymous white house official, keep in mind, the president has said in the past dont believe Anonymous Sources coming out of the white house but an anonymous source said that tweet was inadvertently post and had then later deleted so we did hear from the white house in terms of one of the president s tweets today, but this has been going on for the last 12 or so hours and it appears to be sort of the president kind of flailing around after some of the negative reviews he got yesterday after those remarks he made at the white house. I was there for those remarks when he tried to walk back his initial comments on the violence in charlottesville from over the weekend. And you were shouting those qu questions at him yesterday afternoon. Staying on the president s tweets, jim, just quickly, whats the latest on he had retweeted this report about the potential of him pardoning, controversial joe arpaio out in arizona. Reporter right, the arizona sheriff, joe arpaio, he has been brought into court and essentially charged with being in contempt of court for violating a judges order to stop rounding up immigrants, apparently for just racial reasons, and the president was asked by fox news whether hes seriously considering a pardon. He apparently told fox news that, yes, he is considering that. Fox friends put out a tweet to this effect earlier this morning. The president retweeted that. And then oddly enough, the president appeared to retweet somebody who is calling him a fascist. That tweet was also retracted, and so its just sort of time zb a and again, were getting instance after instance of the president doing some rather strange things with his social media. And keep in mind, brooke, you and i both know there have been several polls that have come out in the last couple weeks where it has clearly demonstrated that a vast majority of americans would like the president to stop tweeting as much, but of course the president is demonstrating in the last day or so that hes going to keep doing what hes doing when it comes to his twitter account. Thank you for now. Lets get back to the headline about the four executives, four new defectors joining three other ceos who have abandoned the president s business councils. Previously it was over the president s decision to pull out of the paris climate accord. Before that, it was President Trumps attempt to rban refugee and immigrants. With me now, richard quest, and scott jennings. So, good to see both of you. And just for people also just understanding thiS Manufacturing council where you have now four like that gone. You say this is an incredibly big deal because why . Its a big deal because these are companies that have vested big, strong vested interests in manufacturing, and they were being given a seat at the table in washington right at the heart of the white house. Now, we can debate whether or not this council was ever going to do any good or was it just a talking shop, or window dressing, a pr exercise, but to actually then say, no, im not going to stay, im going to leave is setting out whats the message that sends the message is, shareholders, investors, employees, family, friends, whatever it is have put pressure and they dont think i should stay. And remember one crucial point. The head the president of the american Manufacturers Alliance has just resigned from a Manufacturing Council at the white house. Not a good look for the white house. Well, i mean, hes a manufacturing man and hes gone. So your point is that and you alluded to, maybe this is just a talking council, maybe not policymaking, but you say its a bad pr move. Sure. The pr is terrible, and its the consequences of operationally messing up on saturday. I think the president s statement yesterday was right on, and so im glad they came back and got that right. I also think that if the president wants to get a ceo of something on the phone, he probably can, so as it relates to policymaking, if he wants to talk to to a ceo, he can talk to virtually anyone represents to. Do you think theyll really want to hop on the phone with him, given the fact that these four have left the Manufacturing Council and the message this is sending. I would be surprised that if you were sitting at your office and your president calls, you wouldnt take the call. Its happening in private. If the president of the United States calls you, youre going to want to take it. I also think the white house would say, look, this council aside, what we want to talk about today is the positive Economic Activity in the United States, the dow is up, you know, unemployment is down. He led with that yesterday before denouncing the racists. He led with the economic news. If you ask them, they would say, you know, these councils and the machinations of government aside, everythings going fine in the economy and we deserve credit for that so thats the positioning, i think, they will take to pivot out of what is a rough pr moment. All president s in some shape or form, all governments have these Advisory Councils but the speed with which these were set up with these massive Photo Opportunities in the white house with blue ribbon ceos round and about, more than you could throw a stick at, but what have these councils done . Well the economic one, you know, it hasnt really met and although they say theyre doing back room work with position papers, nobody really knows if this isnt just a way to guild the lily so that things look good. Still, richard, weve seen so many photo ops of these ceos sitting around this big table with the president. This is significant. This is a businessman, now president , who seems to me proud of the economy, proud of the progress he feels like hes made, and so he wants to have these be flanked by ceos and when they continue to drop out, how is this not a blow to, if anything, his ego. Well, he is a business person and he clearly enjoys being surrounded by people from the private sector. Look at the people he appointed to his cabinet. But again, i think as an operational matter, you really wont see much of a change on policymaking here. Look, theyre going to move forward on their core economy issue in the fall, which is tax reform, and this council was not going to affect their core issues on tax reform. Whouhow about how hes characterizing this on twitter, calling them grandstanders and critics are saying, wait a second, you took 72 hours to denounce racism and you took 51 minutes to denounce ken frazier. Only the second africanamerican ceo in the s p 500 so when ken frazier left, that was a clear, strong message. Now youve got under armour and the American Alliance and youve got merck all leaving and although theyre not specifically saying we cant stomach what he did, the fact theyve left, knowing the controversy, under the circumstances, leaves no doubt as to what that message is. Okay. Scott and richard, thank you both so much. Appreciate it. Next question, what happened inside trump tower this morning, this wave of retweets and deletes from President Trump, all of them fanning the flames involving his charlottesville response. Also, the vice mayor of charlottesville raising eyebrows by simply referring to President Trump as 45. He refuses to call him the president. Hear why from him. Were going to look farther into what the president s recent tweets mean, specifically the ones after giving that speech against racism, calling out those hatelaced groups this time yesterday. So with me to discuss, i have Bishop Jim Lowe jr. , pastor of Guiding Light church in alabama. He organized a march with glenn beck. Also with us, a republican strategist. So, gentlemen, great to have both of you on. Thanks, brooke. Shermichael, if i may begin with you, looking at the president here, you know, he certainly publicly yesterday condemned racism, but when you look at his tweets, it might give you a different impression. Let me tick through this. Yesterday morning, he went after the africanamerican ceo of merck. He retweets and deletes the tweet of a train running over a cnn reporter. Keep in mind, this is after a car, you know, ran over that young woman, Heather Heyer in charlottesville over the weekend. And then retweeted a story where hes considering pardoning controversial sheriff joe arpaio. All of that, shermichael, in the full picture, what does that indicate to you . Well, i think for a lot of americans, brooke, who have watched the president s tweets are wondering how serious was he in his condemnation of the altright, of White Supremacists, of neonazis. Saturday, the president had an interesting moment in time to bring the country together. This is the same person who then, as a candidate in 2016, stated about barack obama and Hillary Clinton that in order to address a problem, you have to state it by name. The president had that opportunity to state white supremacy, neonazis by name and he was absolutely silent. These folks not only hurled racist rhetoric, they hurled antisemitic rhetoric. His soninlaw, his daughter, his grandchildren are jewish and now we look today on the president s tweets, brooke, and hes tweeting about things so irrelevant. Hes tweeting about a train running over cnn, which insinuates violence against the media. We are at a crisis level in our country right now as it pertains to morality and unfortunately, we have to look to a leader who, in my opinion, is morally bankrupt. And so what do we do as a country. I think we can no longer rely on the president. I think its becoming, upon all of us, each of us individually in our own respective communities to say what are we going to do as individuals to see the change we want to see, because we can no longer rely on the president. Bishop, you heard shermichael. He said the president is morally bankrupt. Does he have any moral compass . Do you think he does . Well, first of all, in response to that, i think the president is one person. I think the president , on very many times, has tweeted on issues that seem to be not the issue. His tweeting is an issue sometimes when hes not speaking on the subjects that are happening today. Hes been behind before. Now the question of his moral character and things from what we see from his tweets, i think i cannot do that, but i do believe that regardless to what the president does, we, as the people, must begin to respond in the right manner and the right way to what all of these things that are going on. Even the president has missed the lead, we still have to step up, and we still have to begin to condemn these type of activities that are going on like this, even if the president doesnt. Remember, were the nation of we, the people. And we are supposed to lead the president , actually. Well, it depends on who you talk to. We, the people, we lead the president , he is supposed to be our leader. And even though he did come forward and condemn these, you know, hateful people yesterday, im left wondering, shermichael, you know, can the president can he separate himself from these White Supremacists who support him . I mean, brooke, time and time again, when President Trump tested the political waters, starting with birtherism, from the moment he came down the escalator at trump tower where he said all mexicans are rapists and he said some of them may be good people to the time he mimicked a handicapped individual, there are so many times that we could all point out to where the president had an opportunity to correct himself, and time and time again, including myself, i was briefly a part of his administration, weve all stated, give him a chance, hell become president ial. Give him a chance. Hell figure it out. Give him a chance. He will finally get it. Well, brooke, when someone continues to show you who they are time and time again, at what point do we wake the hell up and say, this is who this guy is. We can no longer have the expectation that he is going to change. Well, can i interject in here . Please, sir, go ahead. The point is, right now, we have to recognize the majority of the people in this nation, or at least according to our electoral college, have elected him to be president. To sit up and condemn every action that he takes is not productive. We have got to begin to pull together bishop, i didnt say every action. I pointed out specific actions, specific moments in time that i find ethically and morally objectionable. As an american, what i saw in charlottesville saturday was disgusting. American soldiers lost their lives fighting against nazi germany. As an africanamerican, i was saddened because those images of White Nationalists wearing ku klux klan uniforms are images that should be relegated to history documentaries and museums and as a republican, i am embarrassed that the leader of my party took 72 hours to denounce racism. That is a problem to me. Let me just say to you and im not in defense of President Trump. Im saying the reality that we see with President Trump is that when has he ever really addressed issues that are important that are dealing with the issues . There is something in that in where things are working with him where he will address something that has nothing to do with whats really going on. Thats the nature of the man that we see. So who needs to hold him accountable, bishop . Who needs to hold him accountable and have him address what he should be addressing. Thats what his staff should be doing and of course he needs to have people that are going to tell him the truth. I would like to think he does have people that are doing that type of thing. But its this is the nature of the person, the people of this nation have elected. Now, what do we do . We cant remove him from office except he does something that is of an impeachable nature. Right now, weve got to Work Together and pull together. We must make sure as a people that we focus on the thing that is the thing and the issue that is the issue. I actually agree with the bishop. Look, brooke, at the end of the day, the government we have will be no more or no less than the government we deserve. People have to show courage and i put emphasis on courage because of all the virtues in my view, courage is the most important because you cannot practice any other virtue consistently. We have to be willing to look in the mirror and say, what am i doing where i am to the Bishops Point to see the change that i want to see because it has been proven time and time again that we cannot, unfortunately, rely on the leader of our country, and to my fellow republicans, speaker ryan in the house, Mitch Mcconnell in the senate, the executive branch is failing the american people. We can no longer put Party Politics as the country around us goes up in flames. We have to step up and be the voice and speak not only to the people who voted for us but to all americans, to this great collective that we call the United States. Gentlemen, i appreciate the dialogue. I agree with you. Bishop, i see you nodding. I appreciate the respectful dialogue today. Shermichael singleton and Bishop Jim Lowe, thank you both so much. The family of one of those White National is nationalists who marched in charlottesville over the weekend is publicly rebuking his son. This father is disowning him unless the son changes his views and his heart. Let me take you to break with this stunning and heartfelt letter that this father wrote to his hometown newspaper in fargo, north dakota. My name is pierce. I am writing with all with regards to my youngest son, peter, an avowed White Nationalist who has been featured in a number of local news stories over the last couple months. On friday night, my son traveled to virginia and was interviewed while marching with reported White Nationalists who allegedly went on to kill a person. I am, along with all of his siblings and his entire family wish to loudly repudiate my sons vile, hateful, and racist rhetoric and actions. We do not know specifically where he learned these beliefs. He did not learn them at home. Ive shared my home and hearth with friends and acquaintances of every race, gender, and creed. I have taught all of my children that all men and women are created equal, that we must love each other all the same. Evidently, peter has chosen to unlearn these lessons, much to my and his familys heartbreak and distress. We have been silent up until now, but now we see that this was a mistake. It was the silence of all good people that allowed the nazis to flourish the first time around, and it is the silence of good people that is allowing them to flourish now. Peter teft, my son, is not welcome at our family gatherings any longer. I pray my prodigal son will renounce his hateful beliefs and return home. Then and only then will i lay out the feast. His hateful opinions are bringing hateful rhetoric to his siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as his parents. Why must we be guilty by association . Again, none of his beliefs were learned at home. We do not, never have, and never will accept his twisted world view. He once joked, the thing about us fascists is, its not that we dont believe in freedom of speech, you can say whatever you want, well just throw you in an oven. Peter, you will have to shovel our bodies into the oven too. Please, son, renounce the hate. Accept and love all. Well be right back. Copd makes it hard to breathe. This is the walmart ceo, Doug Mcmillans statement in full. Here you go. He writes, respect for the individual is one of our core beliefs at walmart and the role we play in communities around the country to build a more diverse and Inclusive Society is more critical than ever. As tragic events in charlottesville over the weekend painfully reminded us. Our prayers are with the victims and their families. As we watched the events and the response from President Trump over the weekend, we, too, felt that he missed a critical opportunity to help bring our country together by unequivocally rejecting the appalling actions of White Supremacists. His remarks today were a step in the right direction and we need that clarity and consistency in the future. Our countrys facing some very difficult issues that require our elected officials, Business Leaders, and communitybased organizations to Work Together. Representing a company with the largest and one of the most diverse groups of associates in the u. S. , and an even more Diverse Customer base of tens of millions of customers, we believe we should stay engaged to try to influence decisions in a positive way and help bring people together. I will continue to strongly advocate on behalf of our associates and customers and urge our elected officials to do their part to promote a more just, tolerant, and diverse society. Thank you for representing walmart and our values today and every day. Again, this is from Doug Mcmillan, the ceo of walmart, whos on the president s Economic Advisory council. It is worth noting that mcmillan is now makes five major executives coming out against the president s response just in the last 36 hours. More on this in just a moment. But first, as demonstrators plan a second night of protests outside of trump tower, the Justice Department appears to be escalating its effort to quiet and maybe even punish antitrump activities. Cnn is learning the justice officials are seeking to learn who visited a specific website designed to organize an Inauguration Day protest just this past january. Federal prosecutors issued a search warrant for the ip addresses of what could be up to 1. 3 Million People who visited the website, disruptj20. Org, but lawyers for the company that host the protest site say this is pure prosecutorial overreach and privacy advocates say this is entirely unconstitutional. Jessica schneider has been digging on this for us. Chris is with us as well. Chris is the general counsel for dream host, the site that provides the platform for disruptj20. So, jessica, let me begin with you on some of our reporting these ip addresses. From what i understand, it doesnt matter if you went to this protest or not if you looked at the site, they want your information, and what exactly what information do they want . Well, thats part of the problem here, brooke. The search warrant, it was signed by the u. S. Attorney in d. C. , and it states that part of its aim is to get information on the people who organized or who participated in the riots on Inauguration Day, january 20, right here in d. C. They were caught on video smashing store front seat as an clashing with police, and dream host has said that the search warrant is asking for all of the information about everyone who visited that website, disruptj20. Org. The search warrant asks for names, addresses, and even Financial Information like Bank Accounts and credit card numbers. So dream host right now is pushing back and they say it would amount to about 1. 3 Million People, the detailed about all of them who may have just visited that website and maybe really had nothing to do with the actual protest. So thats the problem here. So, from the dream host perspective, chris, you know, you all are still pushing back. They want all this information. You guys are pushing back. Whats happened . What are you telling them . The Justice Department. Thanks, brooke. The one thing that we did last friday evening was file an opposition to the motion that the doj filed against us first, and so were currently putting together arguments with our outside counsel and prepping for a hearing in d. C. On friday to make sure that this doesnt happen. Do you know, chris, what prompted this judge to grant the search warrant in the first place . We really dont know, brooke. And, you know, were trying to keep out of that position in terms of politics or why this happened, you know, our main concern now is to protect the users and the visitors of the website. We think its a huge issue to have, you know, this many ip addresses, tens of thousands of people going out, and finding, you know, a place with the doj for all of this stuff to be handed over, you know, because of a search warrant thats this broad. So, jessica, back over to you. Doj wants all this information. What do they plan to do with it . Reporter so far, we know that 200 people, they were indicted on felony rioting charges for those protests in downtown d. C. , so presumably, federal investigators want more information about those people who were being prosecuted or potentially they want to go after more people who they have yet to prosecute and the worry is that maybe theyll get some clues as to identities of people by going on to this website, disruptj20. Org but really, brooke, free speech advocates say that the search warrant, its just far too broad and it could potentially chill peoples right to speak out about their political views because presumably, many people went to this website just to voice their concerns or to see what was going on. And maybe they werent involved in these protests. Stay on it, please, jessica. Lets follow up with you and chris, thank you so much. Well see where this goes in your fight to not release all this information. Police dispatch logs obtained by cnn affiliate in cincinnati reveal this volatile past for the suspect. According to these logs that samantha bloom, james alex fields mother called police to her home nine times between 2010 and 2013 when they lived back in kentucky and on at least two occasions officers responded to alleged violent activity against this mother who was in a wheelchair, and in 2011, a 14yearold boy was arrested during one of those instances. Now, the boys name is redacted when you look at all these different call logs, and the police havent explained how that case was resolved. But fields is the man now charged with the murder of Heather Heyer. Just days after his daughter was killed, heyers father is saying he forgives her killer. I dont hold any ill will toward this young fellow that did this. Hes stupid, okay . Hes only 20 years old. He dont have sense enough to make a lifelong decision about nothing. You know, i forgive him. Flatout. I forgive him. Okay. Can you just take me back a couple days or even a couple weeks, you tell me, you all had heard about this neonazi rally taking place in your town of charlottesville. Why go . Say that again . You had heard about this White Supremacists rally happening in your city of charlottesville. Why did you want to go . Just to stand up for our community. We live here. Ive been living here 23 years and just to stand up against the neonazis, the klan, whatever you guys want to call them, you know . The White Nationalists. They already been here once before, and we just wanted to come out, take our ground, and just stand for our rights. So thats why we wanted to come out here. So, i understand you went, deandre went, a couple other friends, you go and you get separated and is that when deandre is beat snn. Yes, as we were leaving, going up past the library here where it happened at the park, we were just walking. The neonazis, the klan, just the different hate groups, they were walking up also, and they were saying just bad things to us, you know, throwing stuff, saying the n word. Im not going to say that on national tv because i really dont like that word. As we got closer to the garage, it just got a lot of just a whole bunch of chaos and chaotic. All i remember is seeing a lot of orange mace go everywhere and just see hundreds of people just running around going everywhere. And so you see deandre, and hes got this bloodied head . When i eventually find him, hes in a stairway by the elevator of the garage. When i find him, hes surrounded by the kkk, the neonazis. When i approached them, they threatened to beat me. I turned around. I walked around to the Police Department, which is literally 0. 1 seconds away. They seen everything when it happened. They could have stepped in and did their job, which is to protect our community, which theyre not really doing very well here at this time. I walked up in front of the Police Department where its about 20 to 30 officers right there at that time and i told them to come help me, my friend is nearly bleeding to death. And they just looked at me. I told them to call the ambulance. They did not call the ambulance. A protester actually had to call the ambulance. I was just in shock and disbelief and im very disappointed in charlottesville Police Department. We reached out to the Police Department just to try to understand how they couldnt have helped. The city sent us a statement saying theyre aware of the beating of deandre and that theyre imploring people, you know, if you recognize any of the these racists beating your friend to please come forward. Deandre, i understand, there were reports that he and his mom, whos been with him in the hospital, as have you, have talked about, because of that, suing the city of charlottesville. Will they . I hope they will. Then again, im not really going to, you know, talk about that right now. You know . Im going to leave that to him and his family to discuss that part. Vonzz, these racist groups say theyre coming back. If they dare return to charlottesville, what do you do . Were going to keep standing up for our community. They can keep coming, and were going to keep coming. Were going to stand up for our community. It doesnt have to be violent. They can talk. Its freedom of speech and we have freedom of speech also. But i mean, they came here with the intentions of violence. Rest in peace to heather. Really rest in peace to her and im sorry to her family also of that death. But if they come here, were just going to keep having our voices heard, and it does not have to get violent. Vonzz long, thank you. Im so sorry. Yes, maam. Thank you. After taking 72 hours to condemn racists by name, President Trump had a much quicker response in calling out his own peers, fellow Business Leaders who are now parting ways with him. The president tweeted now, fo every ceo that drops out of the Manufacturing Council, i have many to take their place. Grandstanders should not have gone on. Jobs. Moments ago, the ceo of the largest private employer in the world, walmart, just gave this public pan of the president , Doug Mcmillan said the president missed a critical opportunity when he failed to bring the country together after the deadly violence in charlottesvil charlottesville. It is not clear if mcmillan is leaving the president s Economic Advisory council or not. So far, four executives have. Scott paul is just the latest to leave the president S Manufacturing council. He joins the leaders of merck, under armour and intel to leave. These executives are protesting the president s initial failure to call out the racists responsible for the atrocity over the weekend. So, let me begin with david chalian, our cnn political director, and david, just, you know, lets just start with the flood of executives rebuking him. How are you reacting to that . Are you surprised . There are two Different Things i see happening here, brooke, that i find really interesting. One, that these executives are still doing so even after the president s attempt to sort of clean up saturdays remarks with his remarks yesterday, which were widely seen as stronger remarks, more hitting the right notes. But as these executives and their actions are pointing out, that doesnt erase what happened saturday. So, to me, it shows donald trump still has work to do, not just about these individual executives but still has work to do in terms of leadership moment in the country, because the one set of remarks on monday that he read from the white house yesterday doesnt erase the fact that what he neglected to say on saturday still caused a lot of pain for a lot of americans. Thats one. The second thing, brooke, is, you got to remember what these ceos, theyre mostly concerned i dont say this callously the bottom line is sort of what a ceo is all about. Sure. And so theyre making a calculus that their customer base, their employees, are requiring them to take this position. So, that, to me, also means theyre hearing from people who sort of are voting with their pocketbook and their jobs in this moment that they need to display this kind of leadership. Sure. But then you also look at it from the president s perspective. This is someone who on twitter at least says, hey, essentially, i can replace you. Youre grandstanding. But at the same time, weve seen all the ceo round table pictures, right, at the white house, i mean, dooiavid, these the men he seems to admire the most. Yeah. And its a little ironic to hear donald trump call people grandstanders, right . I feel like he has perfected that art. Before he was in politics, since hes in politics, the use of his twitter feed and all those things, so he certainly knows grandstanding. Theres no doubt about that. But you are right. And he can replace them. So i understand, listen, donald trump has made it abundantly clear throughout the entire time weve been covering him as a public official that if youre going to hit him or throw him an elb elbow, hes going to hit back so its totally expected that he is going to try to brush back these ceos that are leaving him and its not everyone. You just mentioned walmart, who issued the statement, but said, staying in this conversation is how he chose to play it out so there are different ways that different ceos are going about this. Moving past the executive news, though, and, you know, you talk about the president s twitter page, but you know, he condemns racism outright, you know, essentially two, three days after the fact. But then you look at his tweets and it might give you a different impression. We talked about this yesterday morning. He quickly goes after ken frazier, the africanamerican ceo of merck. He then shares a tweet from someone known for pushing conspiracy theories. Then he retweets and deletes before someone grabs the freeze frame, you know, this train running over a cnn reporter, and then retweets a story where he is considering pardoning the controversial sheriff in arizona, joe arpaio. Put all of that that whole picture together, what does that tell you, david . It tells me that what the president went out to say yesterday when he denounced those groups is not the final word on this for him. That he still, as you just i mean, you just laid it out perfectly, brooke, but he undermined his own attempt to clean up what he did not do over the weekend. And came in for so much controversy from his fellow
