Retir retirees, this includes their Social Security numbers. So this is pretty sensitive stuff. So now theyre going to have to get credit monitoring paid for by the u. S. Postal service. Customers can start calling around to see if their data has been affected and what they need to do for help. Evan, at this early stage, any idea who might be behind this breach . Not yet. The fbi and Homeland Security looking at this, also the postal inspectors are investigating this and i dont think theyve pinned it down yet. They were working over the weekend to try to fix the breach and try to make sure that more information was not compromised. Were told that they might have to take down some of the web sites while theyre doing some of that work. Again, 2. 9 million postal customers, some 750,000 employees and retirees being affected by this breach. Evan perez, thanks so much far. Breaking news left and right at this hour over the last few days. Is it chilly in here . If it isnt here or where you are, you might want to get ready because a serious arctic blast is likely coming your way. Is it too soon and too much . Freezing cold weather is going to reach most states starting this week affecting some 200 million people. Winter storm warnings already in effect for montana, north and south dakota, wyoming and minnesota, even though winter is officially still a month away at least. I dont think winter has to abide by the letter of the law. But look at minneapolis here. Looks like the movie farfargo right there. A lot of states not prepared for this to be coming this early. Chad, we just saw this in minneapolis. My sources tell me they could get up to a food of snow there . Its still snowing and the storm hasnt even wound up yet. Six to ten inches. The forther grow north of minneapolis it may get heavier because were going to get a dry slot towards the city. Its too soon. Is it too much, no. Is it too soon . Yes, it is. Because i know you can put a coat on but maybe your pet doesnt have the winter coat just yet. Think about that when you leave him or her out tomorrow morning. Dont leave them out too long. They still have summer coats, that i ear not ready for this weather. You can bundle up, they cant. They have to grow more fur. The highs in montana and south dakota will not get above zero later this week. Zero. That will be the high of the day so this is the weather were talking about. A lot of cat until this area as well. Farmers and ranchers will take care of them. Take care of your pets just the same. There goes the storm. It will avoid chicago but it will spend a bunch of wetter from minneapolis to the u. P. Of michigan, cold snow and that cold heavy snow will be hard to shovel the closer you get to that 30 degree line, called heart attack snow because there will be a lot of weight in that show. Here comes the cold air for the east coast. It does get there. 60s down eventually into the 40s and highs in some spots across parts of maine probably in the 20s by the end of the week. Chad, even parts of the northeast here its amazing theres still green leaves on the trees. I think the snow is going to not for long. Its going shock them. Thanks for that look. Its nice its skirting chicago, giving them a reprieve. Stinks for minneapolis but nice for chicago. Choosing chicago over minneapolis at 11 04 monday morning. Big news overseas. The president is on a week long high stakes trip through asia. A few hours ago he announced a new agreement with china. The idea is to strengthen ties between two countries by extending visas. He delivered the news at a speech at the asiapacific cooperation summit in beijing. The president says Chinese Student visas will be good for five years now. Business and tourist visas good for ten years. This will also apply to u. S. Citizens in china. This is a very big change. Previously visas were granted on a yearly basis and this agreement goes into effect wednesday. Another focus for president obama is, of course, the fight against isis as the u. S. Prepares to send more troops to iraq. At this hour, there are conflicting reports whether or not the leader of the terrorist group was hit in a series of air strikes over the weekend. Iraqs interior Ministry Says Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi was wounded but iraqs defense minister hasnt commented nor has the countrys prime minister. I want to bring in our pentagon correspondent barbara starr. Barbara, i have a long history with the interior ministry in iraq and sometimes they say things that dont always turn out to be, shall we say, 100 accurate. Really . Yes, that is correct. You threw me there for a minute. We have some parts of the Iraqi Government saying this and the u. S. Saying we cant confirm it right now. There was a Coalition Air strike near mosul in Northern Iraq over the weekend. They had a convoy of ten vehicles in an area the u. S. Says they know that isis leaders congregate. They thought they were hitting battlefield command commanders. No reason at this point to think baghdadi was there, but now theyre seeing statements from these various parts of the government. So theyre looking into it. What they dont have right now are those precise confirmed intelligence indicators. They dont have cell phone chatter, they dont have statements on social media that they can verify that hes wounded or perhaps killed. So theyre what were told is theyre looking at all of that now. Theyre looking at all the indicators and seeing if there is something that they can come up with that would confirm it for them. It would be good news but most experts will tell you even if baghdadi was wounded, out of commission or dead its noting . That will make isis fold up and go away. Certainly not. Well wait for confirmation. Barbara starr at the pentagon. Thanks so much. Ahead for us at this hour, 1500 more u. S. Troops headed to iraq. Is that enough . Will there be more after that . What is the reality on the ground . And well take you to mexico where protesters are taking to the streets for the fate of dozens missing and feared dead College Students. Well have a live report ahead for you. Huh, fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percent or more on car insurance. Everybody knows that. Well, did you know genies can be really literal . No. What is your wish . No. Ok. A million bucks oh no. Geico. Fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percent or more on car insurance. Ugh. Heartburn. Did someone say burn . Try alka seltzer reliefchews. They work just as fast and are proven to taste better than tums smoothies assorted fruit. Mmm. Amazing. Yeah, i get that a lot. Alka seltzer heartburn reliefchews. Enjoy the relief. Live in the same communities that we serve. People here know that our operations have an impact locally. Were using more natural gas vehicles than ever before. Led effort to destroy isis in iraq is working and he calls the decision to add 1500 additional troops a new phase in the fight. Indeed. Those troops will help train iraqi soldiers and Kurdish Militia fighters. The president is almost doubling the number of troops in iraq with this deployment. He says sending more troops now should keep him from having to send a lot more in the future. You know, as commander in chief, im never going to say never. But what the commanders who presented the plan to me say is that we may actually see fewer troops over time because now were seeing Coalition Members starting to partner with us on the training and assist effort. I want to bring in our military analyst Lieutenant Colonel rick francona. Colonel, thanks for being with us. Its interesting. The fact the president waited until after the election to announce this indicate he is does appreciate the fact that there is some political sensitivity here. A thousand troops here, a thousand troops there. It starts to add up. Is this the definition of Mission Creep . I dont think were creeping just yet but we are getting very close. I think weve increased the size and scope of the training and advise mission but i dont see how it gets any bigger. Theres no more left we can do. Weve set up five training centers. I think the fact that were doing that and were doubling the size of our commitment tells us how bad the iraqi army really is. What poor shape it is in, how emasculated it has become. Whats left, though . If we cant do it with what we have there, then were going to see Mission Creep because were going to have to expand what were doing into the realm of actually putting American Forces in these iraqi units in the field and at that point we enter a new phase and i think were almost there. This is 3,000 troops. We saw 300 go to 3,000 very quickly. Yeah, add a 0 there. My question is, youve talked to us at length here in studio about the fact that you didnt have great confidence in the Iraqi Security forces. Do you think the i want you to expand on more of that. So these 3,000 men and women, is that enough . Can you train them so theyre amply ready to fight this battle . Well, theyre trying to theyre going to set up five more training centers. Remember when we talked about 300 we were going to two operation centers, two joint centers, one in baghdad, one in erbil. Now weve expanded this to a Training Mission where u. S. Trainers are going to be doing handson training with iraqi troops. Were going to be recreating what we did three and four years ago. So were weve just rolled back the clock. I dont know that this is going to be enough troops to get it done, but what we dont have, michaela, is time. And training troops takes time. And what happens if the air power doesnt blunt isis enough . Do you let them just roll into the outskirts of baghdad without putting any American Force in there . I think any Coalition Forces that are going to commit themselves are going to wait to see american boots on the ground before they even talk about committing. So i think were on the verge of either Mission Creep or mission expansi expansion, but i am very pessimistic that the iraqis are going to be able to do this without us. Colonel, if you can still hear me, im not so sure that the mission right now is defensive in nature. Im not so sure theyre concerned about protecting baghdad as they are to plan for a possible offensive six months down the line to get the iraqi troops and kurds somehow ready to begin the process of taking back mosul. How complicated that would be and can they be trained enough to do that . Well, weve seen how ineffective theyve been just trying to take these small towns up the tigris valley and up the euphrates valley. They have theyve had lots of trouble doing that. Taking mosul back is going to be a major effort and i think six months is being very optimistic, john. I think were looking maybe nine months to a year before they even attempt something that large because were trying to get battalions ready to fight to take mosul youre going to have to have divisions, brigades and divisions and theyre nowhere there yet. That means well be talking about it with you again in the very near future, i sense. Lieutenant colonel rick francona, lets promote him. I have been for this for a long time. Its nice to speak with you, we miss having you around here. Good to have you with us on our air today. Thank you. Ahead at this hour, some sick veterans waited months to see a doctor. Now a day before veterans day, a huge overhaul of the department of veteran affairs is in the works. A lot of people, a lot, could be losing their jobs. And for many, its a struggle to keep your a1c down. So imagine, what if there was a new class of medicine that works differently to lower blood sugar . Imagine, loving your numbers. Introducing oncedaily invokana®. Its the first of a new kind of prescription medicine thats used along with diet and exercise to lower blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes. Invokana® is a oncedaily pill that works around the clock to help lower a1c. Heres how the kidneys allow sugar to be absorbed back into the body. Invokana® reduces the amount of sugar allowed back in, and sends some sugar out through the process of urination. And while its not for weight loss, it may help you lose some weight. Invokana® can cause important side effects, including dehydration, which may cause some people to have loss of body water and salt. This may also cause you to feel dizzy, faint, lightheaded, or weak especially when you stand up. Other side effects may include kidney problems, genital yeast infections, urinary tract infections, changes in urination, high potassium in the blood, or increases in cholesterol. Do not take invokana® if you have severe kidney problems or are on dialysis or if allergic to invokana® or its ingredients. Symptoms of allergic reaction may include rash, swelling, difficulty breathing or swallowing. If you experience any of these symptoms, stop taking invokana® and call your doctor right away or go to the nearest hospital. Tell your doctor about any medical conditions, medications you are taking, and if you have kidney or liver problems. Using invokana® with a sulfonylurea or insulin may increase risk of low blood sugar. Its time. Lower your blood sugar with invokana®. Imagine loving your numbers. Ask your doctor about invokana®. A significant restructuring at the department of veterans affairs. Its now in the works. It all comes in the wake of a massive scandal. More than 100,000 veterans waiting months for health care. Cnn broke the story. Last night on cbs 60 minutes, the new head of the v. A. Spoke about some of the changes, including firings and hirings. How many doctors and nurses and medical professionals do you need to hire right now . If we could do it today, we would tell you we probably need about 28,000 is what we said in our committee testimony. Im sorry. 28,000 . Yes. But wait a minute how long is that going to take . Well, its going take time because every adverse outcome that gets amplified by the media doesnt help me. Drew Grich Griffin broke the story of delays. He amplified. Drew, talk to me about the layoffs here. When all is said and done, how many people can lose their jobs here . Well, john, lets be clear. These arent layoffs. What secretary mcdonald has talked about is hes got a list of 35 people hed like to fire that he sent to the Senate Committee and he said hes got another naughty list of about a thousand that he could get rid of. These are not doctors and nurses. The problem with the v. A. Has been management, not care, but the management of that care. And there has been a systemic problem with a coverup about these waiting lists, about poor care, about people who knew about those waiting lists, said nothing, people who knew about the waiting lists and maybe even tried to silence the whistleblowers who were trying to say something. So those are the people that he is targeting. And the question has been, you know, from a lot of critics if s hey, if youve got the goods, fire them, lets get on with this and change the v. A. Into what you, secretary mcdonald, want to make it. He has been on the job for, what, three months now . I suppose he probably wanted to take his time to sort of get to the bottom of what the problem was. He could take everybodys word for it but i get the sense maybe he wanted to look at it himself . Or is he getting criticized for not taking action sooner . Well, both, michaela. This is part of his road to veterans day plan. He wanted to make significant changes by veterans day and when you think of the size of the v. A. , thats a pretty heavy task. However, a lot of the investigations, a lot of the bad doings, a lot of the trouble was already uncovered before he came into office. Remember, this scandal has been going now since before his name even came up. So what members of congress are saying is get rid of these people. Weve got people, taxpayers are paying people whom the v. A. Wants to fire. The question is why . And basically he told us hes hamstrung by the rules. All right, drew griffin, thank you so much and thanks for your continued reporting on this subject. Later today, the v. A. Secretary will be a guest with wolf on his show at 1 00 p. M. Eastern. Set your dvr. Ahead at this hour in mexico, dozens of students go missing. Dozens of them. Authorities blame a corrupt mayor, police, and a drug gang. Were going to be live from the ground in mexico. Well bring you a live report on the investigation. We give you relief from your cold symptoms. You give them the giggles. Tylenol® cold helps relieve your worst cold and flu symptoms. But for everything we do, we know you do so much more. Tylenol® theyve been crying for justice on the streets of mexico as protests intensify over the fate of dozens of missing students, College Students, 43 of them, in fact. They vanished late september on their way to a protest. Let that sink in for a moment. Think of what the reaction would be in your hometown if 43 college kids just went missing. Whats more, the government there says a corrupt local mayor and his wife ordered the police to abduct these students and hand them over to a drug gang. This is just unbelievable. Rosa flores with the latest on the shocking story. Reporter tensions erupt in mexicos Southern State of guerrero. Take a look around, you can see charred vehicles. And many mexicos capital as the parents of 43 missing College Students lose patience with authorities. Its been more than a month and no trace of their children. Not even after the arrest of more than 70 people, including a political power couple that mexicos attorney general says is the possible mastermind of the kidnapping. This is cell phone video showing the mayor of iguala and his wife being arrested. Authorities say the cartelconnected pair colluded with the police chief and drug traffickers to kidnap, kill, and dispose of the missing students. Neither the mayor nor his wife has commented. Even before the couple was taken in, protesters were determined to take them down, burning their seat of power. This is a perfect example. Its ig walla city hall but take a look. Its a charred building, a shell of what it was. Protesters actually came in and wrote on the walls alive we want them back. Fuelling anger in the community, taped confessions by three recently arrested Cartel Members saying they burned the bodies in a public dump and tossed the remains into a river. This Community Activist says too many people disappear in mexico and are never found. He says if today theres 43 students who have gone missing and we dont find them, 10, 15 years from now, what can we expect . The parents of the missing students say theyve lost patience he says this group has one message, that their response will get more and more radical. What adds to the anger and frustration down there right now, words from the attorney general as reporters flooded him with questions on friday. He just said ive had enough. Now that phrase is trending on social media. We have reporters on the ground in mexico. Rosa flores joins us in guerrero state. With her is our Senior Latin Affairs Editor rafael romo. I want to talk with you first, rosa, give us an update. Are mexican authorities making any progress at all . You know, at this point what theyre doing is theyve collected these heavilycharred decomposed remains and theyve sent them to labs. Theyre trying to i. D. These remains. But they do say that theyre heavily charred, theyre heavily decompose sod they dont know if theyre going to be able to i. D. Any of these bodies. What about any u. S. Involvement . Are we getting involved . You know, not at this point that we heard. The only thing that we do know is that there are other, i guess, people from other countries that are involved. Youve got argentinian Forensic Experts that are looking at the remains and then theyve sent those remains to austria because they were trying to figure out the location where theyd have these i guess the best Forensic Experts given the decomposition of the remains. The Austrian Team is going to take a close look at those dna samples and theyre going to try to come up with a positive identification of any of the remains that they have recovered. Rafael, try and look at this big picture for us to help us understand just how bad corruption is there. I lived and covered news in los angeles and we reported on stories of corruption far too often. Is it getting worse . Are we seeing increased brazenness on the part of these cartels . Michaela, this is a local story that gives you an idea of what mexicans are suffering right now. For example, guerrero state, where rosa and i are standing right now, that has highest murder rate in the entire country. It also has the highest number of kidnappings of any other states. There are 31 states in mexico and a Federal District and because the situation and because people here tell us we do not trust the government a number of people have decided to just take justice into their own hands. Yesterday i had an opportunity to talk to a woman who is now the leader of a vigilante group. Lets take a listen to what she said. Why is it that you dont trust authorities . Translator unfortunately, recent developments in iguala have demonstrated authorities are complicit with criminals, that they are the criminals. Thats clear to us. Authorities are the criminals. We have to remember, like rosa reported before, the mayor of the city of iguala was arrested because he was essentialfully cahoots with the drug gang and thats why authorities believe they kidnapped the students and made them disappear. So that gives you an idea of how deeply tied politics and organized crime are in this these parts of mexico. Guys, im still just flabbergasted that 43 kids can go missing in september. And i always think about what would happen if this happened in Westchester County in new york. Wed be going nuts here. Whats the level of protest and unrest right now . It is very high. Over the weekend there were protests not only here in the state of guerrero where students torched government vehicles and delivery trucks but also in mexico city. And one of the most iconic places in this country, the national palace. A group of protesters torched the main door, the main gate to the national palace. This is like somebody going to the white house and setting the main door on fire. Thats how serious it is and so theres no sign of these protests stopping any time soon because we hear of these protests happening today again. Rafael rosa, thank you so much for bringing this story. Cnn will stay with it. Well keep following it and hopefully we can find some of these families and you can find some of these families a measure of hope and closure. Its outrageous. It really is. The parents of slain ferguson teenager Michael Brown are traveling to geneva, switzerland today. Theyll speak out on Police Violence before a u. N. Committee. But in ferguson, so many people on edge, not just there, all over the country as we wait for the grand jury to announce whether or not theyve decided to charge officer Darren Wilson in browns death. City officials in ferguson are hoping they wont see more signs and scenes like this. The weeks of riots and protests that followed browns killing. Sara sidner is in ferguson. She joins us now. Good to have you with us there, sara. People there, shop owners, city council are getting ready to deal with the potential for violence if it happens. Michaela and john, this is the 90th day of daily protests here and for much of that time the protests have been peaceful. Theyve been very loud and sometimes very intense coming face to face with police but they have managed to mostly keep it peaceful. And the protesters say they plan on doing that when the grand jury decision happens. However, theres still a lot of unease in town because of what happened back in august. Ferguson is on edge. Some Business Owners are busy fortifying their shops. Its hurtful. Its really, really hurtful. Reporter salon owner Constance Garnet says she cant afford to take a chance that unrest will crash head on into the business she built here for the past 11 years. If they should come and loot our area, then its going to cost us. Reporter protests havent stopped for three months on her street so we asked one of the polices most confrontational protesters about those concerns. As far as whats happened within the last 90 days, people would know that if you have been paying attention there hasnt been any looting nor violence, what not. Weve been keeping it completely peaceful. Reporter never thels, plenty of folks worry that may change if the grand Jury Announcement goes against what protesters want the indictment of officer Darren Wilson for the killing of unarmed teenager Michael Brown at a gun shop near ferguson, sales of guns for personal protection are up about 50 . Every time that door opens were seeing dozens of new faces coming in. Do you think thats because of what happened in ferguson . I think so. Because its spread beyond ferguson now. The mayor of ferguson says hes heard about it, too. The plus side of that is that every one of them i spoke to have went out and taken a training class, went out and tried to learn the law. But not everyone is convinced theres going to be chaos. At if Ferguson Burger bar and more, which opened just a day before brown was killed, no boards, unlike most of his neighbors. Im here, im open, im not going anywhere. Most of the people out protesting that have been here for all of those 90 days in front of the Police Department are residents here and they say they are trying to keep anyone who wants to be violent out. I actually heard them say if youre going to be violent, you are not with us. And as for some of the other things going on in town, the mayor, along with the Community Members and some of the protesters are working hand in hand on saturday to rebuild a Community Center theyre going to open called the center for hope and peace. A lot of folks around here hoping thats what happens in the next few weeks. Sara, you bring up a great point. Over the last 09 days, the vast majority of those days have been peaceful. We shouldnt presume there has been violence even if people are getting prepared for it. And as you said, most people are local bud there are who come in from the outside including some celebrities who have been there. Sara, whos there today. I think weve lost sara. We lost sara sidner for us in ferguson. Thanks so much for that report. Straight ahead, president obama turning his attention to the world stage. The president is at the Economic Cooperation summit in beijing. This is the first stop on his weeklong trip to the region. How will these recent elections affect his ability to strike deals and operate on the international stage. I want to bring in political analyst Jason Johnson and our political commentator Margaret Hoover in new york with us here. Jason, id like to put up a photo. We saw video of it of the most powerful people on earth wearing funny shirts. You see Vladimir Putin there, xi jinping and president obama. My question to you, jason, is whos wearing it best . You know what, we have to be patriotic so i say obama. Its like theyre the three tops or somewhat kind of a star truck look to them but i think our president wears it best. On a much less serious note, late in a president s term, especially twoterm president s, the last two years you often see president s shift to foreign policy. One reason is they cant get much more dondo midwestally. What kind of success can this president have on the world stage. He can have a lot of success on the world stage but not necessarily in asia. Obamas got two strikes against him right now. First off, he missed this conference last year because of the government shutdown. Now hes showing up at this conference after his own party gets beat at home. So between that and the fact that hes juggling knives and chain saws by doing battles with isis and russia, most of the leaders in asia dont think obama can put the kind of pressure or attention he needs to put in the region to have much influence at all. Do you agree . Do you think the president has much Political Capital that he can sway these foreign leaders with overseas . Its tough. Its certainly challenging but there are some things he could do that frankly would be quite good for the American Economy right now. For example, there is a transpacific Free Trade Agreement that encompasses 12 countries that would certainly do much to open up american export markets and potentially grow the American Economy. It was blocked by the Democratic Senate but Mitch Mcconnell is keen to get it passed through and this is something that the president could do that, frankly, our partners in asia have been waiting on the United States to do and it would show that the president really isnt isolated. It might be easier to do now. Margaret, lets turn to 2016, enough about right now. Lets look to the future, shall we . Former president george h. W. Bush has been talking a lot about his brother jeb and jebs prospects for running. Lets listen to what he said. Ill do whatever he wants. I will be one of his strongest backers if he wants me out there publicly, ill be out there publicly. If he wants me behind the scenes, ill be behind the scenes. Im all in for him. Hed be a great president and the country could use an optimistic view like his. What about it . It was that last group of words right there i think i found so interesting. An optimistic view like his. Im wondering if hes comparing jeb bush, the former governor of florida, to the Current Administration or perhaps to other republicans, particularly some in the tea party movement, some who may be considered more obstructionist and people who say no, no, no. Any time i hear a republican say optimistic view you can almost guarantee theyre drawing a Straight Line to ronald reagan. Ronald reagan was the sunny optimist, the one who came in at a time of incredible Economic Hardship and brought in this optimistic perspective, the glass half full. My guess it was that against the backdrop of a very languished economy thats been slow to recover. It sounds like its that. My understanding, though, is that jeb bush certainly has an inner circle, is talking to folks but his brother isnt one of them. And for good reason. Hes going to have to differentiate himself from his father and brother so he needs an inner circle. That bush fatigue. Who knows if it still exists. Jason, let me ask you about that. Lets go there are if a second. Lets say jeb bush runs and Hillary Clinton runs. Gosh that sounds awfully familiar. Do you think theres going to be an appetite for another dynastic campaign here . Not in the least. Lets make it clear. Jeb is going to run. We have two votes yes. We have his son and george bush. The only one saying no is barbara bush. I think hes going to run. If we get a remix of another clinton versus a bush, that would be the death knell for the republican party. If we go back, which administration did we have better memories of . The Bush Administration or the Clinton Administration . I dont think that would be smart for jeb. I dont think that would be smart for the republican party. Margaret disagrees with you on every front. What would his challenges be in a republican primary . Hes got issues that differ on immigration and also education. He does. But the commonplace criticism is hed never get through a republican primary. The bush name carries a lot of weight. South carolina and iowa, let alone new hampshire, he actually doesnt have to defend his conservative credentials simply because in a change and very an unamerican way carries a lot of weight and people understand that hes not going to undermine the constitution. It helps by raising money and things like that. It goes a long way. Keith johnson and Margaret Hoover, thank you for being with us. Thank you. Theres a new study out today that parents really need to see. Its about the laundry detergent pods. A lot of people use them. Well, they have landed many people in the hospital in the last couple of years, according to this new study. They attract kids. They are colorful. They may look like candy or a toy to a child and its prompting calls for companies to make the packaging to change it, to protect children. Joining us to discuss it all, senior medical correspondent Elizabeth Cohen and kelly wallace. I know the two of you are both moms and this is obviously going to be a red flag for anybody looking after children, if you have them in your house, if they come to visit. Elizabeth, lets talk, first of all, its being showing how many kids have been sickened by ingesting these things. I know the number is huge. Its one of the major reasons that people are calling Poison Control Centers during the course of two years Poison Control Centers got more than 17,000 phone calls about these kids that have gotten sick from them. Under the age of 6, we are talking little ones they are a major maker. How sick are we talking . What are the risks of putting one of these in your mouth . Customer talking pretty sick. 30 children in comas. I would say, look, if i had young children, why would you want to have these in your house when there are alternatives. There are other things that you can use besides the pods. You can use the plain old liquid or powder. Were sold and weve been using them but the question is, maybe it is convenient but couldnt they just change the look or the packaging or something . There could be more that they could be doing. Some companies have voluntarily been making labels on the packaging, maybiking the tougher for kids to open and not making them seethrough. The green, orange, purple looks like a toy. They are voluntary. The manufacturer, trade groups are calling for everyone to voluntarily make these more child resistant. Well see what the outcome is. Parents have a role here, too. How many things do you have in your kids that are not for the children. Theres all sorts of cleaning supplies, too. Exactly. The same thing applies for liquid detergent, very, very dangerous for children. I think what is different here, if a child gets a thing of detergent and they cant open it, thats one thing. If they somehow stumble upon these and it looks like a toy, a pacifier, a feeding toy they are not marketing the kids. They are awfully cheery looking. They are bright and colorful. Elizabeth, this is very interesting. Kids would still get very sick if they swallowed regular detergent or are they getting sicker from this stuff . They look like candy. They look like something that they would want to eat. Its harder. Theyve got to get the cap off, which i know i have trouble with, and then you squeeze it into your mouth and its heavy. Thats pretty unlikely. You can imagine, the little hand grabbing one of these paws. Its very easy to do. If its possibly harmful, dont have it in your house and if you have to have it, put it out of reach and if its within reach, lock it up. Its one of those things that you have to be mindful about them. Are they trading in the convenience factor for more danger for your kids . Elizabeth cohen, kelly wallace, appreciate it. Its something you can sound off on. Get on facebook, find us on twitter. Atthishour. I almost forgot it. Fantastic. Thank you so much. Thanks, guys. All right, thats it for us at this hour.
