By his wife heidi and his mother as well as Carly Fiorina. In the meantime, all eyes are on the trump event after his Campaign Manager is now facing a Battery Charge for man handling a reporter at an event earlier this month. Trump is standing by his man, though, and all of it is happening as all of the republican candidates are backing away from a pledge to support the partys eventual nominee. We have reporters at both events covering this. Wild turns in this race right now, especially after last nights cnns town hall. Lets go to Phil Mattingly who is live at the trump event. What are we expecting this morning . Reporter kate, if you had any expectation that the Trump Campaign was going to reverse course or not be on offense or even apologize in the wake of what happened to Corey Lewandowski, the trump Campaign Manager, you were wrong. You had to watch the town hall last night. Take a listen. I stick up for people when people are unjustly accused and, in my opinion, unjustly accused. She walked through secret service, had a pen in her hand which would have been a knife. She shouldnot havebeendoing that. Reporter kate, certainly sticking by his Campaign Manager now and in wisconsin a big push for the Trump Campaign 42 delegates in a very tight race. Donald trump will be taking the stage. None of the kapds consistent on the issue of the pledge if they would support the eventual nominee. Everyone listening to hear what will happen to that. The loyalty pledge has been thrown in the trash. Phil mattingly, thank you. Now lets go to sunlen serfaty. The feud has gotten worse and now were watching feuding rallies as they are about to get under way. Thats right, kate. Ted cruz is holding a different sort of event. This is solely focused on womens issues and a Women Coalition for ted cruz joined on stage, notably by his wife eleanor cruz and sort of a free flowing discussion up on stage discussing womens issues. Weve spent a little bit of time before this event started talking to some of the women here, the crowd about the tone and ten nor of this campaign. Some undecideds here. Im old fashion enough to believe in good manners for everybody and i would love to see a little more civility among everybody and every candidate and every ooiissue, including women. I was just anxious to see ted cruz and he never mudslings and hes a christian man. Im a christian so i support ted because of that, too. I dont think donalds lifestyle supports him as being a christian. Hes been divorced and married i think three times. He talks i dont know. His past history of the things he said has been degrading to women. Reporter now, the timing of this event is certainly notable given this is just one week after the fierce battle between donald trump and ted cruz over their spouses so searchcertainl making a very optic message here the Cruz Campaign admitting and acknowledging that this draw as clear contrast with donald trump. It will be interesting to see how he addresses that on stage tonight. Kate . Well keep an eye on both of these events. Sunlen is there for us, Phil Mattingly following the trump event. As we are waiting to hear what the candidates say, lets discuss what theyve already said and thats a lot especially after last nights cnn town hall. Joining me now is Senior Adviser to the Trump Campaign, barry bennett, formerly the campaign meg are for the Ben Carson Campaign and donna brazile, josh holmes and cnns chief Political Correspondent dana bash live in milwaukee. Its great to see you. Barry, lets begin where Phil Mattingly began for us this morning. Donald trump standing by his Campaign Manager, Corey Lewandowski. When you look back in not so recent history when similar things have been aided by other candidates and similar things have happened, donald trump has jumped all over it. When ted cruz followed rick tyler over what he circulated about marco rubio, donald trump was feverishly tweeting about it. He tweeted this this december. Wow, ted cruz falsely suggesting that marco rubio mocked the bible and was just forced to fire his Communications Director. More dirty tricks. Why, then, barry, are you surprised that other candidates are jumping on it and donald trump should do the same. I think if the sun rose three hours late, it would be Donald Trumps fault. This whole campaign is getting silly. But Corey Lewandowski has ran a campaign that has more votes than anybody else. Hes going to be the Campaign Manager, period. Mr. Trump has spoke on it, asked and answered, time to move on. Josh, you were also his Campaign Manager. Do you think its silly and its time to move on . Look, im not a defense attorney. I dont know what constitutes assault. What in the world is the Campaign Manager doing on the floor of a rally trying to peace with a press scrum. Ive managed campaigns before and anybody part of a campaign will tell you, if the Campaign Manager is more than six inches away from their desk at any point in the day, its a problem for everybody. That seems to me like the biggest problem. Donna, youve also ran a campaign. We have several Campaign Managers right here. You ran al gores campaign. Have you ever grabbed anybody . What is your view on this . Kate, i dont like to touch people i dont know and, let alone, touch reporters, especially when they are doing their job. Yes, reporters can be aggressive. Thats their job. Dana can also attest to the fact that when youre trying to get to your source to get the information, to get the feed, thats what reporters do. And i do believe at the time that this incident occurred, the right response from the Campaign Manager has been a sorry, i didnt mean to do that and this matter might have been settled differently. Now you have a situation where the Campaign Manager might become the story and what happens in a campaign when it becomes a process story and i think all of us can agree your candidate cannot get out his message. I do believe its a problem for mr. Trump. Its not just a legal issue that the Campaign Manager now has to figure out in terms of going back to florida and all of that other stuff. Im not an attorney. But its really an issue now about his message and overall tone that is being set by the campaign itself. Dana, i want to get your take on the impact but real quick, barry, on what donald is talking about here, the message that it sends here or the fact that Corey Lewandowski has become the story, do you like how donald trump has handled this, the fact that he said last night that she was she touched me first, she was carrying a pen, i dont know, it could have been a bomb . I think that this whole portrayal of, you know, assault and battery and all of this stuff is crazy. Those of us that have been in these scrums, its every man for himself. Its crazy. So do i want to get on to talking about creating jobs and fixing this sess pool of washington, absolutely. Thats what were going to talk about. Dana, he says that its time to move on. Are wisconsin voters ready to move on or do you think it will have an impact there . You bet you, no question they are ready to move on. And i think at a certain point theres going to be drama fatigue. The convention the Campaign Manager being the story or process being the story is necessarily bad for him. Its obviously not good. Im not saying that he would want this to happen or want his Campaign Manager to be arrested but with the way that donald trump is playing it, does speak to those core supporters. Number one, you know, were just doing what we can and somebody tried to come up to us and were going to fight back and were going to defend ourselves, sort of the brute strength in every facet of the campaign. He uses the media brilliantly and also uses them to his benefit and as a foil. So that certainly is not a h hinderance for him. They said what pledge . Im not signing on to support the eventual nominee. Josh, everyone coming together in this bear hug moment, that seems to be out of the question at this point. Lets listen to what the viewy last night. Im not in the habit of attacking somebody who attacks my family and wife. Ive been disturbed by some of the things that i have seen and i have to think about what my word and endorsement would mean in a president ial campaign. So i want to see how this thing finishes out. No, i dont. You dont . No. Well see who it is. You dont promise to support the eventual nominee . He was essentially saying the same thing. Josh, when you watched this last night, what were you thinking . Im not sure that loyalty pledges are significant, the time that we give it. We seem to talk about this once a month. Only because they change positions on it once a month. Thats true. Thats true. It does break news every time. But i think look, i ran a Campaign Last cycle where our primary opponent, very contentious primary and our primary opponent never endorsed and we won the general election by 16 by 90 plus percent of republican voters. If im in these campaigns, im worrying a lot less about whether or not i can consolidate a Republican Party than i am about whether anybody else in the electorate is even interested in voting for us. I mean, i think at this stage the campaign has gotten to a point where youre appealing to nothing but straight core supporters and i realize its the primary but they are doing damage well beyond Party Politics at this stage. One of the things that trump pointed at, barry, the reason why he wasnt going to support an eventual nominee that is not himself was that he is being mistreated by the rnc and Republican Party. This has been part of the conversation from the beginning. He wouldnt run third party or be an independent if they played nice and last i thought everyone was friends at least as it relates to the rnc. What mistreatment is he talking about . I think hes just talking about not more rnc but the state parties like what happened in louisiana and some of the shenanigans that are starting to unfold around the country where they put their will in the place of the primary voter. That kind of stuff is a little alarming. Back room smokey deals. Thats what hes concerned about the most. Kate, if i could add to that, the way i took what trump said about the party and the way that theyve been treating him was as much of a warning shot as anything else. Where we are in the campaign now is all about not just trying to gobble up as many candidates as possible but doing so that there isnt a floor fight at the convention and thats obviously, as weve been talking about, increasingly likely to have that fight. To me, its a warning shot. There are all kinds of discussions, reince priebus, the rnc chair told me a couple of weeks ago, remember the rules at the convention from 2012 are going to be different this year because every convention has different rules and, you know, it could be that, for example, something that ted cruz brought up, right now the rules that say that you cannot get the nomination unless youve won eight states. Well, it is entirely possible that the rnc, the rules committee at the convention could change that and make it possible for john kasich or somebody else to get the nomination. My sense is that that is what trump was warning about. Dont pull that stuff even though its technically legal and allowed within the bounds of the Republican Party, when it comes to the sentiment out there, basically, dont temp me. Lets talk about that, guys. Stand by. We need to go to a quick break. Were waiting for these live events to happen. But lets continue that conversation. Barry bennett calls them shenanigans. Ted cruz will say we have better ground game in places like louisiana. Lets discuss this and i want to talk about Donald Trumps headscratching answer on Nuclear Weapons last night and wa that means for the conversation Going Forward and also why donald trump seemed to some to sound more like a democratic than a republican frontrunner on another very important question. Well be right back. And were also, speaking of democrats, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are holding duelling rallies. She confronts trump on her home turf in a brandnew ad. We are awaiting for duelling rallies in wisconsin, the next place for the battleground. On the left is the ted cruz rally built as they are going to be rolling out a women for cruz coalition. Were watching that very closely. On the right, donald trump will be taking the stage for a rally of his own in wisconsin. Were watching all of that and were also talking about the issues and what came of last nights cnn town hall. Our panel is back with me. I found this moment fascinating as it played out last night. Donald trump was asked, it appeared to be a simple question of what were the three core or three most important functions of the federal government. Donald trump said the first was security and then this happened. Watch. So in terms of federal government role, youre saying security but also health care and education should be provided by the federal government . Yeah, sure. I mean, there are obviously many thingse things, housing arent you against the federal governments involvement in education . I want it to go to state, yeah, absolutely. And federal health care run by the federal government . We need health care for our people. We need a good obamacare is a disaster. Is that something that the federal government should be doing. The government can lead it but it should be privately done. Barry, do you want to clear that up for us . Medicare and medicaid are two of the largest chunks of health care ran by the government. And education, he wants that to be run by the federal government . No. We fund it. We fund a lot of money back to the states. He wants to block that money and now bureaucrats finetune it, the department of education. And housing . Well, housing, you know, the mortgage industry is totally propped up by the federal government. Veterans programs, all kinds of mortgage programs and the old fannie mae stuff. So federal government has its finger in everything. So less taxes, less government, only fund the military. Look, im a democrat and i, of course, believe what donald trump said is absolutely correct in terms of economic security, the actual security. Health care, education, a right, we should make sure that americans have that security but im going to give back my time to josh who will give the more conservative argument of what donald trump should have said. I just think that donald trump was being honest and theres nothing wrong with donald trump being honest. Being honest . About his views. You know, he may have been being honest but its literally the worst possible answer that you could give as a republican in a republican primary. The idea that you can somehow make health care and education the he didnt ask whether the federal government was involved in these two areas. The ask was, what are the most important areas where the federal government is involved. Health care with obamacare is just a dead letter with republican primary voters everywhere. We would argue that you cant expand it in the federal government because they do a really bad job at it, as is the case for education where weve argued for a decade or longer that all of this should be under local control. So i was just totally baffled by that answer. Dana . Yes. If you are running a traditional Republican Campaign whether its for republican or senate, josh successfully did that and a pretty tough one in kentucky or even dog catcher, you dont say that. As we have said until were blue in the case, there is nothing conventional about donald trump. Not just that, to me, that answer spoke to the populist message. He did say it should be staterun, which is a republican philosophy. But big picture, his whole argument about not spending so much money overseas, spending it over here and on the bridges and roads over here, that is the trump populism that has resonated with republican primary voters in so many states. Barry, do you think on some level he did not understand the question for some reason . Because you just saw what donna said and the reaction of josh. It sounded more like a democrat than a republican and the priorities he would lay out for the federal government. Were not going to operate on the republican handle. Youre running for the republican nomination. I understand and were doing a very good job of it. The two biggest problems are education and health care. Education, lets talk about this, gun violence kills by the ones and the twos. Our inner City Education is killing by the generation. We have to fix it. We have to stop talking about it and we have to fix it. Health care, same problem. Our costs are ridiculous. Weve got to introduce marketbased solutions into the system. And, you know, just because they are not on the list of the republican handbook doesnt mean because there are problems we have to face. Barry, there is nobody, and i mean nobody, who is arguing that they are not huge problems. The question is whether or not they should be the Top Priorities of the federal government. You just said marketbased solutions. You dont think solving problems should be our top priority . I dont think the federal government should be involved in the education of counties and School Districts across the nation as if someone in washington, d. C. , has a better idea than the parents and School Administrators that are two blocks away from them. No. And i think most conservatives would absolutely agree with that. Weve got to focus our resources and bring out the best ideas and let these states and cities, primarily, fix the problems. Lets talk about this go ahead, donna. You believe that the federal government has a role in communities and strengthening our country to ensure that whether any child lives in the city or suburbs or rural areas can get the education they need to find them a job to live a prosperous and healthy life. This goes back to what is going on in the republican primary. Im a democrat, of course, and i love when republicans do all of the talking points. But the fact is, donald trump is able to appeal to not just what i call real conservatives of the base of the party but also independents and in wisconsin and some of the other states coming up, they are open to independents. This message may not resonate with the real what i call republicans, the base. But it resonates with the middle and hes trying to also draw from them as well. Beyond domestic policies, lets look at since we got you here, barry, lets talk about another moment last night that i think folks are scratching their head about on the question of Nuclear Proliferation. Listen here. You have so many other countries so some proliferation is okay . I hate proliferation. I hate nuclear more than any other. My uncle was a professor at m. I. T. He used to tell me about at some point you have to say japan is better off protecting itself against this maniac in north korea and saudi arabia saudi arabia . Absolutely. You would be fine with them having Nuclear Weapons . No. They have to protect themselves or they have to pay us. You said japan, its fine, you get Nuclear Weapons, you as well and saudi arabia says they want to, too. Its a matter of time they are going to start wanting them or we have to get rid of them entirely. So barry, do you think do you like what youre hearing from donald trump there . Do you think he needs to dial that back or clarify that at all, they are going to get if anyway, its only a question of saudi arabia, they are going to have nukes . I think in todays marketplace, you know, its happening whether or not we have some policy in washington against it or not. I mean, its whats happening in iran, israel. I mean, i dont know for sure that the saudis dont have the capability. So you think all money is talking and weve got this great set of talki talking points but its not based on reality. Its Donald Trumps position. Hes not just said it last night, he also said it in an interview with the noonew york times. Is that the position that japan and south korea protect themselves even if that includes having a Nuclear Program . I think when he talks about defense hes talking about Missile Defense systems which need to be technology is advancing very fast, cost is coming down and we need people to protect themselves. Weve got to do something. They have japan has to do something. China needs to do something. You know, we cant prevent it from here. Dana, barry is not saying no here. Im sorry. Oh, my god. Its just his Foreign Policy, i think donald trump i dont think its a crash course. He needs a real, live what i call handbook on Nuclear Proliferation and how we have tried to end it in the Korean Peninsula and this is something that i think that donald trump really needs to go back to somebody bring him back to the drawing board. His Foreign Policy is very incoherent and inconsistent and i dont think other than weve got to be tougher and somebody has to pay for whatever job our military is doing. Dana, wrap it up for us. I would just add that barry is being a very good soldier and thats what hes supposed to be doing and not contradicting his boss. People who love donald trump heard that answer last night and went, what . No way. The last thing on earth that the west wants, after trying to avoid it for decades is nuclear asia. So ill leave it there. Josh, quick final thought. Look, to pair phrase marco rubio there, lets dispel the notion that donald trump knows what hes talking about. He doesnt have any idea what hes talking about. Barry knows what hes talking about. His candidate does not. This is not a Nuclear Policy that makes any sense for the United States or any nation in maybe the history of time. The fact that we dignify it with sort of an analysis of, well, does it make sense to get every nation a nuclear weapon, thats crazy. Its just madness. Its unbelievable that weve tolerated it this long. Well continue the conversation because thats exactly what we need to do. Barry, great to see you. Dana, donna, josh, thank you all very much. Were watching and standing by right now waiting for these duelling rallies to get under way. I believe donald trump may have just taken to the stage. We are watching them. Were going to get in a quick break. Well be right back. Lets hear what they have to say. Well be right back. The lexus command performance sales event is on. Duelling rallies taking place right now. Ted cruz on the left and donald trump on the right. Lets dip in right now to ted cruz who is talking about his hes rolling out his women for cruz strategy. Lets listen in. Its a womens issue. [ applause ] this campaign at its core, i believe, is about three issues. Jobs, freedom and security. And women, every bit as men, care about jobs, freedom and security. You look at jobs, you look at the economic stagnation. Every one of us, we want to get back to that incredible Economic Growth that is characterized america from the beginning of this country. We want to get back to an environment when manufacturing jobs are coming into wisconsin instead of going overseas to china and mexico. [ applause ] we want to see wages going up again instead of stagnating year after year after year while the bills go up, wages stay stuck. We want to see young people coming out of school with two, three, four, five job opportunities. [ applause ] i think the young people heard that one. Jobs are womens issues and mens issues. They are issues for america. And then theres freedom. The incredible freedom in our bill of rights that protects every one of us. Free speech, religious liberty, the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. One of the most fun things i got to do on the campaign was take my darling wife heidi, we were up in New Hampshire at a firing range. Now, heidi is a california native. But an image that i will always love is a picture of her firing a full auto machine gun with a pink hat that said armed and beautiful. [ applause ] but protecting the bill of rights, protecting life, protecting marriage, protecting our fundamental liberties, all of that is at stake in this election and those are womens issues, those are mens issues, those are adult issues, those are children issues. Those are the issues fosh america. And finally were listening to ted cruz speaking in wisconsin. Were soon going to have the Communications Director for the ted Cruz Campaign on. On your left, ted cruz is speaking, as you see right there, with his wife heidi cruz and his mother eleanor is at the event as well. On the right, you can see donald trump. Lets listen to see what hes saying right now. I was attracted to him. I didnt care about the entertainment people. I cared about him. And i said, mr. Levin, how are you doing . Donald trump. He said, yes, i know. Im not doing well at all. I said, i read that and its too bad what went wrong. Ill never forget the expression. He said, donald, i totally lost my momentum. He lost his momentum. He took that time off, he came back and it was a different world and he lost his momentum. Now, the real lesson there is you have to know if youve lost your momentum so that you dont get hurt and its just something that i talk about because its so different and i watched him sitting in this corner. I dont even know why he was there. And so many massive developments if you see all over but he said, i lost my momentum, donald. Ive lost my momentum. I never, ever forgot those words and ive always remembered that. What you want to do is you want to keep going, keep going, keep going. If you think you lost your momentum, slow down and refocus on maybe Something Else because its so important and so thats one of the many, many elements or stories and one quick one that we also talk about and that i talk about listening right there to donald trump, hes giving his thoughts on the keys to success, is what hes speaking about right there. As hes speaking in wisconsin. Were going to continue to listen to that and bring you developments. Right now, lets turn back to the dueling part of the dueling rallies. Ted cruz is in wisconsin rolling out his women for cruz coalition. Heidi cruz, eleanor and Carly Fiorina on the stage with ted cruz. Lets bring in alice stewart, Communications Director for ted cruz. Thanks for coming in. I really appreciate it. Great to be here. Thank you very much. They are focusing on women issues. The women for cruz coalition. He said right off the top when he started this event, this is about our families and this is about our children and when he talks about his family, that has been part of the Campaign Conversation in the last couple of weeks. You and i have talked about this. This all came up last night when we were talking about the pledge, the loyalty pledge, if republican candidates are going to support the eventual nominees. Ted cruz said no he would not. His reason being, because donald trump had been taking on his wife and he said that crossed the line. At this point, from what you can see, alice, now dropping the pledge, is there anything that donald trump could do to regain that loyalty to regain the support of ted cruz if donald trump becomes the eventual nominee . You know, i think time will tell. Its important to note that, look, ted cruz has made it quite clear that its difficult, its hard for someone to support a person who that is constantly criticizing and harassing your wife the. At the end of the day, cease going to be the nominee. In terms of answering the specific question, teds nominee, it will be a moot point. Listen, the American People have learned quite a lot about donald trump since that loyalty pledge was made. We learn that he spent a lot of time at night tweeting about women he doesnt know, making disparaging and disrespectful tweets to women and thats troubling and thats why hes doing so poorly in the favorability and this morning the events going on right now are a classic case of what were seeing in these campaigns. Ted is at an event talking about women issues and as he said last night in the town hall, all issues are women issues. Hes sitting down and talking with them about jobs, freedom and security and values their input and thoughts on this and as a contrast we have donald trump, we just heard, talking about donald trump and this is the way this campaign has been from the very beginning. Ted is out there talking about the issue that people are concerned with. Hes done that in a positive way of ib tntegrity, not criticizin their opponents or spouses and thats the reason why more people learn about ted cruz the better were doing in these states and conversely the more people learn about donald trump, the more he is losing support and his unfavorability ratings are through the roof, specifically with women, and thats because of this very behavior. Alice, lets talk about the fight for delegates he a work towards the convention. Marco rubio is now trying to hold on to the delegates that he has won before he dropped out of the race. 170plus delegates. Do you think he should be able to hold on to those delegates going into the convention . Well, theres a lot going on with regard to the delegates. Thats clearly something donald trump is just now realizing. This is an important part of the nomination process. Look, what each person does with their delegates is their own prerogative. We would expect ted will reach the necessary 1237 delegates prior to the convention. If hes dropped out of the race, thats pretty unusual. Ideally, wed have him turn the delegates loose and wed be able to acquire the delegates and continue to do what were doing and working the delegate process and finding it out on the Convention Floor but this is something that will play out and more and more people are learning that every state has different rules and regulations with regard to the delegates and bound and unbound delegates and we are, as we have throughout the primary process, we have a very organized ground game to winning primaries and caucuses and organized delegate process that we are working its important, Donald Trumps campaign one of his advisers was on a short time ago. He said especially with one of the states that is kind of not in question but the one they are fighting over about is the delegates from louisiana. He calls it shenanigans. Trump said it was bad politics. He said if he gets the most votes he should get the most delegates. What do you say . Al gore thought the same thing and didnt work out that way. Donald trump is new to the process and new to how the election process works. There are different ways to go about securing the nomination and a lot of it has to do with primaries and caucuses and qu e acquiring the delegates. His advisers say it will be seen as stealing the nomination. They dont understand the process. You are familiar with how it works. It is a process in terms of acquiring the delegates thats how the republican process works. What we have made a commitment to from the beginning is to be organized on the ground and have a strong grassroots game in place. It is about winning states but more importantly making sure a plan in place to acquire delegates and racking up the necessary 1237. As you know, some are winnertakeall states, some proportion al and a matter of bringing the delegates to the table and if necessary fighting it out at convention. We have a strong strategy to win if it comes to a Convention Floor. We will watch it play out if it does. Great to see you. Thank you so much. We are watching life pictures of ted cruz on the stage with his wife, mother and another key supporter car leighly fly fiori. And Hillary Clinton is campaigning and has this to say to new yorkers, we know better. Slamming donald trump for his policies. Is in the start of Hillary Clintons general campaign . We have more to discuss. Well be right back. These are the hands of pitney bowes, the craftsmen of commerce. She is not targeting Bernie Sanders. Instead she is setting her sights on the republican candidate and fellow new yorker, donald trump. Listen here. Some say we can solve americas problems by building walls, banning people based on their religion and turning against each other. Well, this is new york. We know better. We know better. Lets bring in jeff zeleny, senior washington correspondent angela rye. Great to see you. Fist to you. You were at the event where Hillary Clinton will be speaking any minute. Tell i us, what is the view on this ad . What is the story behind it . Why take on donald trump in new york before she is even past Bernie Sanders. There is one reason to take donald trump on in new york and his name is Bernie Sanders. The Clinton Campaign would not invest time and money in to this new york primary, taking on donald trump, if they were not concerned about the threat that Bernie Sanders still poses to them. The best way to galvanize democrats in the eyes of Clinton Campaign is by presenting her as the strongest, most credible candidate to hold the white house to stop donald trump from winning the white house. Thats what this ad is all about. It is diverse. Its about the tapestry of new yorks diversity and narrated in her voice, something we have not heard yet this year. Thats why this ad is being aired today. Starting the next threeweek stretch of the primary in new york is because of the incursion of Bernie Sanders. I love that jeff zeleny can keep his come pose sure with the fabulous music in the background. Lang folks will be saying why is she looking past Bernie Sanders as if this is the turn to the general election candidacy she is ready to take on donald trump. Do you think this is her making the turn . Do you think theres a risk . I dont think theres a risk. I the the larger risk is what everyone has been saying. Everyone with some sense that. Is the threat and the fear of a donald trump candidacy is becoming more and more real every day. It is critical, given the National Stature of Hillary Clinton, the fact shes been vetted four times before, or at least been exposed to National Level attention as a former first lady, as a former president ial candidate, as a former senator of new york, which we know because of her stature was a National Campaign i. Wasnt just central to new york. She has been exposed, of course then as secretary of state. She has to realize she has to take on this leadership role of saying we can take him down but we have to do it collectively and together. The other reality is of course we are not talking about l. A. But i think it is worth mentioning. In this california poll some of Bernie Sanders supporters are saying we love the idea of Bernie Sanders but dont know if he is a realistic choice for president and whether or not he could win in the general. Her turning her attention to the most credible threat to her is very important at this stage. But, Bernie Sanders, they say they have the momentum that Campaign Says and they are pushing an fighting for a debate in april right there, right here in new york. What do you think the chances are that will happen as the Clinton Campaign keeps calling it a publicity stunt . You heard Hillary Clinton say, she would totally debate in brooklyn. I think we will see another democratic debate. When you talk to the Hillary Clinton campaign, it is interesting what they are doing with Bernie Sanders. They are clearly going after trump and turning that corner but a keeping a foot in the primary. If you listen to the speech about the Supreme Court she gave earlier this week. She talked about single issue candidates that she uses to drib Bernie Sanders and criticizes trump. They are playing a front two front war. There is definitely a reality they still have a primary opponent and they are keeping an eye on him. Keep an eye on it. Final thought to you. She is keeping an eye on a primary opponent. Are you expecting to hear more about Bernie Sanders or donald trump when she takes the stage . We will hear about donald trump. Im told by adviser to the Clinton Campaign she will be talking, expounding on what we have seen in the ad. She will talk about how she believes donald trump has been divisive. Thats what she will talk about today. One thing to point out about the new york primary, it is a closed primary. If you are not already registered to vote in new york, you can not vote in that primary. Thats a big draw back, a difference compared to other states like wisconsin that as an open primary here. Thats why the Clinton Campaign feels better in new york. Great to see you. Thank you so much. Were keeping an eye on that event. Thank you for joining us at this hour.
